Ellie silently walked over to Adam. He seemed the silent type. So why not play his game?

"Whatchya drawing there?" she asked. Her voice was quiet and soft, but louder than a whisper.

Gasp! Kel felt much better when he saw another person of the male population. Sure, he looked pretty young, but Kel didn't feel quite so overwhelmed by girls. "Pleasure," he said, shaking the boy's hand. "I'm Keltan Micheals. Sixth year." Nodnod. He gave the kid a small, not-sure smile. "Welcome to Ravenclaw." he added quickly, since Brody did say he was a first year. "What do ya think of the common room?"

"I thought I told you to stay!" a voice could be heard as someone entered the common's room, followed by a high pitch meow. "Goodness Saharah, your always finding some way to be with me at the school."

The voice belonged to Jenn, and the meow belonged to Saharah, Jenn's clingy kitten. Shaking her head, Jenn looked around the room, her eyes widdening at how many young girls were in there. She felt suddenly...old. Ew! Old was NOT good at all. She could almost picture herself all wrinkley with young smooth skinned girls running around her as she tried stabing them with her cane. Shuddering, the corner of her eyes caught the site of something scooting along the wall, almost like they were trying not to be seen. Turning to look who was the weirdo, she burst out laughing.

It was Kel. Of coarse, she should of expected something like this to come from him. Rolling her eyes she smirked and yelled out real loud, "HEY YOU! YEAH YOU!" in Kel's direction, then ducked behind one of the chairs, snickering at the thought of Kel jumping twelve feet in the air. Ahhhh priceless.

Adam covered his drawing with his hand and chuckled. "hey girls, how's it going" he said with a bright smile

"Whatcha got there?" Jen asked as she playfully attempted to take the paper away from him so she could look at it.

Ellie smiled. She played along with Jen.

"Come on, let us see. Don't be shy." she teased. But she would easily let it be. She didn't want to pry.

"Pleasure to meet you Kelran." Brodu shook hid hand. "Sixth year? So you have experiance? What's Hogwart like?" He had to stop himself from asking a whole string of questions. That's what Josey, Annabelle or Ella would do. But they were girls. So, therefore, ot was girly. "The common room is....nice." He didn't really know what else to say.

Adam chuckled and stood up, holding his sketch book over Jen's head "it's nothing, just my sketch book" he said with a giggle

Oh. Did... she just say that out loud. That was just a face slapper for Cedes. She always forget that she couldn't say such things in public because people always ended up puzzled. Plus they'd want to know what she meant and then she'd have to tell them their fear of cooties and they'll be all, 'Whaaatt? You crazzehh.' At age fifteen, Mercedes Finklestein was supposed to be DATING, but instead, she spent her time holed up in her room scared of cooties. Well, she couldn't say holed up. She did stuff. Like... like... draw things. Or play her violin. Or or... play her piano. Or or... yeahhh... She did stuff!

Thankfully the girl introduced herself, allowing Cedes to avoid the question that the girl had presented. "Ooh. Arlette, such a pretty name. I don't think I've ever heard of it before. What's the origin?" Was that normal to ask? "My name is Mercedes Finklestein. But people call me Cedes," the girl said, smiling cheerfully, feeling more relaxed until... A BOY! There was a boyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACCKKK!!! Cedes smile turned into one of nervousness and she took a few steps towards the stairs, hoping that Arlette wouldn't notice the anxiety on her face. ACK. TWO BOYS?

Vashti nodded. "Understandable. I'm glad you like it, though. It'll definitely get better as the year progresses. Just wait until you start getting homework though." She gave her another teasing grin.

Vashti was still grinning as Ellie explained her feelings. "Great! I'm so glad you like here. And it gets even better than this, just you wait."

"It's certainly not nothing if you're hiding it!" Ellie giggled. Seeing how Adam didn't seem to threatened, she also tried to grab the notebook from him.

"Please?" Jen said sweetly and batted her eyelashed. "Please can we see it?"

Kel laughed shortly. "Experience?" he repeated. He thought about how to answer that, then finally shook his head. "I only have four years of experience. And honestly, that's not that much." he shook his head again. Sure, it was more than first years had, but Kel wished he had more.

"Hogwarts is great." he answered, a smile playing at his lips. "Very...interesting. There's a lot to do, a lot to explore." he nodded once, sharply. "You'll love it."

He was opening his mouth to say something else when a very, very loud shout in his direction made him jump embarrassingly high off the ground look quickly in the direction it came from. Who was that voice from - Aha! Kel knew exactly who'd said it.

"Jennumara Abigail Blood." he scolded, holding up a finger to Brody to signal for him to stay there, and he'd be right back. Kel slowly walked over to where Jenn was, and leaned over the chair she was hiding behind. He raised an eyebrow at her, then nodded his head to the side. "Hey, girl." he said happily, grinning his crooked grin at her. "I'm talkin' to someone. Wanna join us?" he reached a hand out, offering to help her up, then started heading back to Brody.

"Sorry about that." Kel told the first year. "Girls are weird, yes?"

Arlie blinked. This girl wanted to know the origin of her name? Arlie didn't know the origin of her name. "Er...I don't know where my name came from, sorry," she said, fidgeting. "I was named after my great-great-grandmother's godmother. And it's nice to meet you, Mercedes. Erm, I mean, Cedes. Your name is pretty, too." Even if it was the name of a car. It was possible the older girl didn't know that she was named after a car. If that was the case, Arlie didn't want to be the one to break the news to her.

Noticing the change in the girl's facial expression, Arlie frowned a bit. That was weird. And random. Where was she going?

"I've never been to a magical school before," Arlie said, following Cedes' few steps towards the stairs. "Is there anything I should know before class starts? Advice from someone who's been here already?" Hopefully Cedes had been here before. Otherwise, Arlie would feel rather foolish to be asking her advice.

Adam giggled and sat down "fine,here" he said as he let Ellie and Jen see the drawing of his mystery girl. The drawing of the girl had long waves of hair, however the face was blank,because he didn't know how she looked.

After the somewhat normal feast - and by normal he meant no one had attacked anyone else or stolen his shoes - William trudged up the steps to the towers, signing at how far it seemed to be. It felt like it went higher and higher each term or that's what his feet thought anyway. Yes, his feet spoke so what, they barked too when they were really sore. Right now they were sighing as he stepped into the common room his eyes searching out for his chair. If anyone was sitting in it he'd kick them out, even if they were a big seventh year.

Luckily there wasn't anyone by the soft blue chair with the burn on the cushion - a token of his appreciation after his first lesson with Kazi when he'd gotten so angry he'd made sparks fly out of his wand creating a small fire - he grinned, dropping his bag on the floor beside it and plopped himself down, a small puff of dust puffing up. Meh, dust was cool. Throwing his feet over the arm of the chair he leaned his head back and closed his eyes, counting in his head how much dessert he'd had that night.

Jen looked at the drawing, a bit confused. "Who is it?" She wondered aloud.

Giggle, giggle, snort...

Yes, she could hear him say her name in a scolding tone, and it made her laugh even more, and honestly, laughing quietly was a very hard thing to do. Uh huh indeed. But she had to stop otherwise he would find her and...

There he was! Darn him! Couldn't at least pretend he didn't hear or see her. But noooooooo, Mr. Micheals was to good for that. Hehehe, who was she kidding. This was Kel she was talking about. And he was smiling that SMILE! EEEEP!

"Hey boy." she replied, grinning up at him. She felt even more insanely short right at that moment, but she wasn't going to let that on. Her smile faded for a moment when he said he was talking to someone. Peeking from behind the chair, she looked over to where a lone boy was standing, looking in their direction. Oh a boy? Well then that was a different story, she didn't mind that. So, taking Kel's hand, and brushing off her skirt, she walked over to the boy, sticking out her tongue at Kel for a moment as he said girl's where weird. "Yes, and it just so happens that girls are your closest friends, and one happens to be your girlfriend, so I'd watch it mister." she teased, grinning.

Holding out her hand to the boy she smiled sweetly. "Hello! I'm Jennumara Blood, but to be honest, who want's to even start trying to say that, so we'll stick with Jenn." She smiled once again, her brown eyes taking him in.

"It's moer than me," Brody said with a shrug. "Ya, I bet I will. With the friends I have we'll probably have seen the whole castle in a week. Girls need to slow down." He waited while Kel left. When he came back Brody smiled wryly at what he said. "Yes they ae. All of my friends are girls. You're the first boy I've met. And believe me, I'm glad for that." That sounded a little weird, but oh well.

Victoria giggled a little. "That bad with homework, or is actually enjoyable?"

"Yes!" she said as Adam held the drawing out for them. "She's pretty. So far." Ellie said. "That's pretty good."

Ellie put on her 'how mysterious' face and looked at Adam questionably. No need to repeat the question, but she was thinking the same thing.

"I-I don't know. I had a dream of her last night, but I didn't see her face. She could be anyone" Adam said "anyone" he said smoothly and gave her a wink

Keeley, unlike most of her house-mates, wasn't half asleep on her way up to the Ravenclaw tower. Quite the contrary, she was wide awake. Sleep was highly overrated, in her opinion. She plopped onto a free couch, hoping that no firstie (they seemed to be everywhere) would come and interrogate her about the secrets and excitements of the school. It was always much better to figure them out yourself. She fixed the bow in her hair, as it was falling off for some reason, and instinctively pulled it out. Not having it in her hands was weeeeird. Now, what to draw... what to draw...

"Amazing you could draw that." Ellie remarked. "I can never remember my dreams that well." she said, jealously, and sighed.

Jen giggled at his wink, wondering if he knew that she wished it were her. "Was this dream romantic?"
