Timothy looked at both of them. He felt a little crushed, but that was the way of life. He sighed and looked at them again. He spoke, "No worries, I am fine!" He didn't feel all that fine, but he wouldn't want either of them to break relationships just for him. Plus they all were happy being friends anyway. Hopefully this didn't ruin their friendships....

She could see that he was not fine but they could be just friends, "My step uncle that works at the ministry wants to return to quidditch!"

Timothy was slightly taken aback, Quidditch? What? Did the topic suddenly shift?

Timothy shook his head, "What?" He was now completely confused....

"Sorry my boyfriend doesn't have a job but my step uncle works at the ministry but he used to play quidditch" she told Timothy.

Timothy was still a little confused....but he went along with it....

"So your uncle is looking to employ your boyfriend to play quidditch?"

"No, he doesn't own a team but he used to play for England" she told Timothy, "I think he wants to open a potato chip business with his cousin!"

Wow potato chips, he was sure ambitious wasn't he.

"Wow, really? That's interesting....so your boyfriend would work in the potato chips business?"

He was still confused but it seemed like he had it now....

"Ya, they come up with new flavours!" she told him hoping that she wasn't confusing him more. "I see him during the holidays and I visit him at the weekend sometimes!"

"That is awesome! Where are they located?"

Timothy smiled he was feeling a little better, but still...it was there, pressing on the back of the mind. Depression, humiliation, destruction.

Sighing he stands up, he now knew exactly why she was afraid to talk to him. Now that she was now blushing, he was certain.

Sitting down next to her, he smiles at her, "It wasn't your fault you know." he says softly.

Oh Merlin! Ellie avoided eye contact as he sat down.

"Except it was..." she said, still not looking at him. Obviously. She hit the stupid bludger. How was it not her fault...

"Does it feel better now?"

"They are planning it at his castle at the moment but they will hopefully get shop later!" she told Timothy. She knew that she couldn't cheat on Jason with Timothy because she loved Jason.

"It's fine," he nods. "And no it wasn't!" Grinning at her, I think you'll do well as a beater.

"You have great aim!"

Ellie smiled and finally looked at him.

"Thanks. But I did hit you. I just wish you were someone we were playing against." she said, picturing a real game... "Or Lafay!" Mwahaha. Maybe that was a bit much, but... She wouldn't mind if it was Lafay... Being 'purely accidental' and all..

"Lafay?" he asks questionably. "I agree, though it would definitely be preferrably against another team." Watching as she smiles, it really was nice. It lit up her whole face.

Lifting his arm he was about to put it around her when he realized that might make a wrong impression... Laying it on the back of the couch, he says "Now, we just have to wait for the results of who made the team..."

Jacob slowly made his way up to the common room. With his eyes glued to the ground, he some how managed to walked through the door way and not hit the wall. For the first time since quidditch tryouts, he looked up to see that he was inside the common room.

How in the world did he get to the seventh floor without hitting any students or walls. It's A Miracle... and now back to sulking.

Jacob found in and empty arm chair and sat down his head tilted back. And he Just stared at the ceiling. Why were try-outs so tireing...At least in an actual game there were people to help. Tryouts was everyman for themselves. You get blocked by the other players, you've got no one to pass it to. And Jacob knew that best cause, shooting was not one of his skills. Just Fly and pass.

Ellie nodded.... Yeah, I guess it would be better against another team... but much more funny with Lafay... she thought.

"Oh, I know! I'm so nervous... I didn't do as good with chaser as I thought... I'd love to be beater, though!" she blushed again. Maybe she'd be good as beater, seeing who she was talking to...

"You'll enjoy it, no matter what position you play." he replies beaming at her. "Well exc..." No she might enjoy that too, he supposed.

"No, I do think you'd enjoy any position..." he finishes. "Have you flown before this term?"

Ellie nodded.

"I've always owned a broom of some sort." she said, remembering the pictures on the mantle of her little self on a toy broom one Christmas. She didn't remember the actual Christmas, though, as she was like 1...

Nodding he smiles, "I wish I had..." drifting off, he realizes that sounded like he wanted to be felt sorry for. "I mean, I haven't. Though it would have been nice."

Looking at her he adds "You see, I'm muggleborn."

Ellie nodded.

"You're pretty good on a broom. How long have you been flying, then?" she was completely indifferent to muggleborns, seeing as her mom was one. It didn't phase her.

"Two years now. Since my first term." Looking over at her seriously, he wondered if she realized he was a third year. His size sure didn't make him look like it.

So, he's a third year. Okay. *makes mental note*

"Oh. And how long have you been on the team?" she asked. She loved finding more out about people.

Looking down, though he really didn't want to admit the first term, he did anyway. "I was on the team both terms."

Really he shouldn't have admitted to either...but well, what can you do?

Ellie looked at him confused.

"You don't seem very happy about that... That's great, though, you know! Coming from muggles and making the team... Then staying on the team! Really, a lot of people who have been flying their whole lives probably don't get that priveledge." she said. Well, it was true. She probably won't make the team, other people, like JD, were much better than she was.
