Alex nodded at the Professor pulling out her textbooks, a few pieces of parchment, her quill, and her normal black ink. She wasn't sure which book she would need first so she just put Care of Magical Creature's above Transfiguration's after all C came before T. She straightened the parchment setting the extra's aside for a moment, Put her quill on the side of it and her ink on the other top side of her parchment, making sure the ink and other parchments weren't touching.

A happy Lockhart made his way into the classroom.

If he's heard correctly, then this will be a joined lesson? Joined lesson proved to be fun in the past, and he was expecting this one to be so. "Good day, Professor!" he greeted and proceeded to take a seat, his bag next to him, but took nothing out of it.

Treyen was sure they still had to wait for the rest of the class...and...if this was a joined lesson, then they'd also need to wait for the other Professor to arrive, unless Professor Lawson was going to start with something first.

Iliana greeted the last remaining kids as they arrived with a simple 'Hello'. Deciding that it was time to start, she cleared her throat and said, "Let's begin, shall we?" Preston had told her that he'd be running a little late. She didn't think he'd mind if she started the lessson without him.

"As you all know, the Care of Magical Creatures portion of this lesson will be over Quintapeds. Who can tell me where quintapeds can be found?" And because her students always seemed to want to rush ahead, she added, "And pleeeeease, only answer the question asked. No skipping ahead." She couldn't stress the 'please' strongly enough.

Oh, that was easy.

"The Unplottable Isle of Drear," Gold said cheerfully, hand in the air. Then she lowered it - the hand, that is - and propped open her handy, dandy notebook. So that she could jot down info.

Jacob knew this... He so knew this, Jacob raised his hand. "they're found on the Isle of Drear" he said. It had such an awesome name.

Swinging her legs, she watched as other student took their seats. Turning, she faced Lady Lawson as she started the class, a small part of her wondering where Kingsley was. "They live on the Isle of Drear." She said with her hand raised.

Aha! Kel knew this answer. He'd just been reading his copy of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them... he knew this answer. So, he raised his hand.

"Off north tip of Scottland," he said confidently. "The Isle of... Dear? er... Drear!"

Ella raised her hand rather quickly as the first question was asked. It was easy really. "Quintapeds are found in the Isle of Drear." She sa id confidently. Oh how Ella loved Care of Magical Creatures. It had to be the only lesson that she actually had knowledge of. But more importantly, the only one she had an interest for too.

Raising his hand, because he could actually remember this part of the text-book when he'd sat and read it at home with his mother.

"Sssome... island. I think."

Yeah... remembered.

Simon raised his hand actually knowing part of the answer for once he believed since he wasn't a common face in care of magical creatures. " I believe they are only found on an island of the northern part of Scotland," he answered.

Ellie, sitting up at front again, was excited for another CoMC lesson. She liked the last well enough.

"Quintapeds are only found on the Isle of Drear."

Ivory raised her hand, lowered it, raised it again, and then sort of held it up halfway as she answered. Information was coming in little tidbits but she couldn't really remember everything.

"I think it's an island...somewhere...here in Scotland...north of us." Her tongue poked out of the corner of her lip in concentration as she squinted one eye. " But its not on any map..." What was that word. Un-mappable? Un-findable? Un-.........

And she was gone for a few seconds as she tried to remember the word that was at the tip of her tongue.

''Isle of what?'' Josh uttered the usual huge grin appearing on his face. The boy was again looking for self enjoyment and for some unknown reason he was sure that he'd find that here in the Magical Creatures class. ''That sounded funny''

Yet he had neither heard about or seen a quintaped before, so the Gryffindor boy had no idea what kind of a creature that name was referring to. Meh. Forget the creature. With that thought he started look around for his friends.

Preston slipped into the back of the lesson and gave Professor Lawson a nod. He hated being late, but in this case it had been unavoidable.

He remained in the back so as not to disrupt the students.

Sidney smiles and waves when Professor Kingsley enters the paddock. Professor can sometimes be late too. She raises her hand and says: "Legends says they were created on the Isle of Drear." Sidney finds it interesting that so little is know about these unique creatures.

Ooooooooooooooooooooh, quintapeds. What was THAT!?
This was going to be exciting indeeeeeeeeed!

Miranda's big round eyes were wide as she tried to see and hear everything Professor Mrs Lawson was saying.

Ooooh, QUINTAPEDS! What was thaAAAAT!?

Rhea raised her hand and answered,
"Professor, they can be found on the Isle of Drear, an island off the Scottish northern coast. "

She didn't know much about these creatures but she had seen some information in fantastic beasts and where to find them volume 1.

Quintapeds? What in Merlin's name was a Quintaped? Vashti thought they sounded familiar, which was probably because she'd read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but she'd only read it once and couldn't remember a thing about the Quintapeds besides the name. She'd definitely have to take some notes on them, so she quickly got out her CoMC notebook, opened to a new page, and pulled out a pencil. (Pencils were far easier to use than a quill when one didn't have a desk to set an ink bottle on.) Titling the page Quintaped Notes, she waited for the professor to continue.

Oh Quintaped! For someone reason, the name sounded familiar to Blake.

Did he come across it during one of the Ancient Runes lesson? Perhaps, yes. But it was of no use as his memory absolutely failed when it came to answering their location.

How unfair! He never gets to raise his hand during a lesson.

Two of his favorite classes together in one lesson? Awesome! Fletcher had quite come to like Transfiguration and Care of Magical Creatures was pretty awesome too, so.... he was definitely participating in this class!

"I think they're off the coast of Scotland, maybe on the Isle of.... Drear?" he chanced a guess to Professor Lawson's question.

Professor Lawson nodded happily to each response. "Very good," she said. "That's right. The Isle of Drear," she repeated, giving those who were unsure a clear pronunciation.
Iliana returned Kingsley's nod with one of her own and waved him to the front. This was as just as much his lesson as hers and she was happy to see him there.

"Right, so quintapeds are extremely, dangerous magical beasts. This MoM rated XXXXX creature can only be found on the Isle of Drear. Like Gold mentioned, the Isle of Drear has been made Unplottable because of the danger they present."

"Now open your books to page 153." She waited a moment for the pages to stop turning and then continued. "Using the provided picture as a reference, what are some of the obvious characteristics of a quintaped? One per student please."

Torin opened his book to the page she requested and then raised his hand. "They have 5 legs," he suggested.

Raising his hand again, Jake blurted his answer out as quickly as he could. "Ffffive legs. 'Quin-' ppprefix and all."

Chyeah.

Ellie opened up her book to the page announced. Ugh, she shuddered. They were way to spidery for her. Why must they put a huge picture of it on the page? Turning the book so the picture was on her lap, and she couldn't see it, she said, "Their hairy..." Have 5! legs, two eyes, and TEETH! Shudder.

Jacob raised his hand "They look kind of hairy" they don't look dangerous
