| Atypical Ravenclaw Bookworm // Hair Flipper Pro / / the edgy starbuckian // Hot Messie Mina stood in outside and looked at the area around her. There was a lot of potential for the area and she was just waiting on her group. Pulling out a sketchbook, she started to draw out some ideas. She would have to speak with the other leaders before she finalized anything, but it never hurt to just get the creative juices following. |

Iris skipped happily to to the set up area, and saw that Mina was already hear. "Heeey, Mina!" She called out as she approached. Looking around, Iris saw that she and Mina were the only ones here so far. Hmmm.
Ooooh. Mina was drawing. Iris could see that they were ideas for the decorations and stuff. Clever thinking, doing that. Professor Kingsley did well, choosing Mina over the rest of them to lead the Outdoor decorations.
Iris would just help as much as she could to help make the ideas and drawings into actuality. Or reality. Whichever. Hehe.

Arya had taken her pygmy puff back to her room and made her way out to the area where her group was supposed to be working. She was excited to get to working, a few random ideas running through he mind as she skipped over to where two other students waited. "Hey guys!"

| Atypical Ravenclaw Bookworm // Hair Flipper Pro / / the edgy starbuckian // Hot Messie Mina looked up from her sketchbook and smiled. Iris and Arya were there. "Hey girls," she smiled as she flipped her book close. "I was just thinking about how fairy lights would look over there." The idea of a new of lights had come to her before. "Maybe a canopy of lights from the entrance, you know like a twinkle awning." |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Auden Azarolla Ravenclaw First Year | <.< >,> v.v ^,^! Ivory had bounded into the outdoor area just in time to hear Mina's idea for a twinkle awning. "Hey guys!"
Giving Arya a little hip bump nudge along with a small giggle, her eyes looked around their canvas trying to picture Mina's idea. Turning towards her, she smiled enthusiastically. "That sounds like a pretty cool idea."

Hmmm. "I think that would be really awesome. It would look really pretty and would really add to the 'enchanted garden' feel that Brody and a couple of others thought would make the theme more ... well... magical. *haha*" Iris nodded and smiled. "You know like the seasons are going to be changing throughout the night in the Great Hall, are we going to keep that concept in this outdoor area, too?" Iris shufhled her feet against the ground, and wondered - hoped, even, that these were the people who'd thought her ideas of enchanted toparies was good.

| Atypical Ravenclaw Bookworm // Hair Flipper Pro / / the edgy starbuckian // Hot Messie Mina glanced around the area again and smiled. "Well, I think we should continue with that out here as well," she voiced. The awning would act as a transition from the Great Hall to their outside wonderland. Flipping open her sketchbook again, she scribbled down some images.
Looking up at Iris, she smiled. "We should really do topiaries. I personally like that idea and again it will add to the magical feeling of the place." Again she looked down at her sketches and jotted down some ideas. "I also thinking, maybe an enchanted pond as well. It will freeze over during the winter portion and melt in the spring. The summer it could have baby fish in it." she thought out loud. Just then, another idea hit her and she went back to sketching. |

Glancing around the area, picturing faries lighting up the decorations, she giggled a little when Ivory bumped her. Wraping an arm around her best friend's shoulders, she leaned against the girl while keeping her eyes focused on thier area. After listening to everyone give a few ideas she spoke. "I love the idea of faries lighting up the area, so long as they don't get harmed." Cause that was very important to the little puff. "And the toparies can not only be house animals enchanted, but they could be people dancing too." She didn't know if eveyone else would go for it, but she liked the idea. "The fish sound cool, where would we put them?"

| Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger "I thought you might want to do the topiaries," Professor Kingsley called to the group as he levitated over an palette with uncut trees and shrubs.
Setting it down, Preston also pulled out a selection of muggle gardening tools. "If you're comfortable with using diffindo to cut branches, it might be good practice. But if not, I brought clippers." He smiled at them kindly. "You may also want to leave some in shapes like squares, or the like, and simply decorate them with lights."

Arya spun on her heels to face the professor when she heard his voice, giving him a warm smile. Pulling out her wand, she let it twirl between her fingers as she examined the uncut trees and shrubs.
They were cutting the trees and shrubs themselves, she kinda hoped that they could be done.....by other means. Seeing how she wasn't the best at carving. Shapes seemed easy enough though. "Okie doke. Shapes are good too."
Arya levitated a shrub infront of her and thought about were to begin while waiting for the others to agree with the shapes idea. Didn't want to start without a consensus.

Iris nodded in agreement with her. "Well... they'd go in the pond, wouldn't they. I think that if we were to use the idea of the pond, then it would look best like, away from the main area. Y'know, so it would be more secluded and not right in the middle of the outdoor area." Quote:

Diffino. Iris was ... okay with that charm. It would make good practice, though. She looked at the shrubs, trying to figure out which ones would be best for what shape, which house symbol etc ... "Wow ... I don't think any of us had thought of that. It would be really effective though, wouldn't it? especially because they won't all be animated that way." hehe. Iris smiled a little bit, and looked around at the people there. Quote:

She personally thought it would be fun though. And they'd always be able to use Reparo to repair the shrubs if they chopped too much off, right? hehe.

I mean if it is a topiary with flowers the flowers could change to go alone with the seasons or even the houses." Oh the ideas were really flowing now.
Glanicng over, she pointed to an area just next to a tree. "I was thinking a charmed pond and maybe with a bridge over it. We can take pictures there too," she explained as she then looked to the sketch she had just finished drawing. Quote:

They had a lot of work cut out for them, but she was looking forward to it and the team was a good one. They would surely be able to tackle every project they set out to accomplish. "Thank you, Professor," she said as she took a closer look at the trees and scrubs. They looked perfect for what they had in mind and she would get more practice using diffindo. The thought of trying to use the clippers mildly scared her anyway. Quote:

The lights could then change into the shapes house animals or something," she suggested. Quote:

She had again met a nice one that apparently didn't throw death looks at her for no reason. She would really have to get used to that, but it was a move in the right direction.
They all seemed to like her ideas and that kind of set her at ease a bit. "That's what I was thinking about, you know. Magical glow to things. Subtle magical feeling, noting too crazy. Wow them with the little things." They really didn't want to overwhelm everyone. Simple was probably best.
Turning again, she looked back to the area by the tree and a good distance away from the main area. "I'm still thinking about over there for the pond. Maybe a simple landing or bridge and a charm so no one can fall in or anything can come out of the water." She could just imagine some silly firsties try to play pranks with the pond water or with the fish.
Looking back to the trees, she walked over to one larger shrubs and set her sketchbook down. Picturing what she would like it to look like, she pulled her wand out and gave it a try. Diffindo
Only slicing a bit of the side, she tilted her head again and nodded. She knew what she was going to do now and if it didn't really turn out well, she's just reparo it.
Glancing to the others, she waved them over. "Well, let's get to work. Small shrubs simple shapes, larger shrubs can be animals and people. Trees more like cubes. If you want, you can draw out what you want to do and then use that as a guideline." |

Arya beamed at the knowledge that the faries wouldn't be harmed, though the idea of fake faries that were charmed sounded like a great plan. "A few of them sounds good, so does fairy lights that are charmed." She listened to the Ravenclaw as she talked about the dancing toparies, noddind in agreement. Flowers to match the seasons or houses sounded like a great plan as well.
Giggling softly at the Slytherin, she looked at where Mina pointed. She knew that they would be in a pond, she just wanted to know where the pond would go. Beside a tree sounded like a safe place and people could still see it as well. Quote:

"I like squares, there easier to carve." Pointing her wand at the shrub, she used diffindo carefully to begin carving the shrub into a square.
