Doing exactly as he was told, Jake unclenched his other fist, feeling something cold and solid brush against his fingertips. Upon opening his eyes, his surprise was overwhelming, and he had to quickly grasp the bottle before it dropped, since he lost concentration on the spell.
Staring down at the bottle, and then up and Lafay, then at the bottle again, Jake's jaw dropped and his eyes went wide.
"I... I..."
He looked back at Lafay again.
It was like magic!

Dylan was flung back once more. This time the door was slammed shut after him. He sighed, as he lifted himself off the floor. Respect her? But he had been respectful. Hmmmm. He pushed the door open. "Hello Professor. I am Dylan Denver. What is your name? Because I have never seen you before," he said rather woodenly. If she wanted respect she would have to earn it.
