Ginormous Telescopes. Peaceful Environment. What's there not to like the ever-so awesome Observatory?

Cedric walked over the place and took a brief glimpse around. There were not students other than he and that was just as perfect as having a picnic at the gigantic treehouse with his friends.
Buuuuuut.... It was rather chilly 'round the place and a wind drastically crashed against his skin. He wasn't scared to say the least... or well, he was scared, yep, but just a little bit.

He tramped toward the telescope. There was no turning back now. He would gaze upon the stars, deviate from the real world, and enjoy his reveries. It couldn't be stated he was daydreaming... 'cause it was already evening, bah!

Stargazing, he found solace. He wasn't afraid, bothered or even scared anymore until after he heard someone walking in his direction. It had got him in shocked stupor. Really, really good timing.

Who was the 'unknown' person anyway?

Huff...huff.....WHEEEEEEEEEEEZE.
Okay, she had totally worked up her condition over the summer, but come on - all these many stairs up to the observatory would make ANYONE gasp for breath.

Goooooooooooooooooooooosh.
Seriously, she would have to tell Professor Antares to install a lift or something. Or atleast, let them FLY up here on their brooms. Phew.

She had spotted Cedric on his way up here, and not wanting to shout throughout the whole castle for him to wait for her, Miranda had decided to...sort of follow him. But not in a creepy way. Heh! She missed her friend and hadn't talked with him in aaaaaaages.

And now finally, after much huffing and puffing, she was at the TOP! Huzzah! Hm, where was Ced? "Cedriiiiiiiiic!" Way to go with the quiet hiss-whispering, made her sound a bit eerie. Hehehe. "Where aaaaare yooooooooo?" Yeah...that was less creepier.

The ghost knew his name and it/he/she was asking for his name! But he recognized that voice. That uproarious, cannot-be-lowered kind of voice.

Oooh! Hehe. Time to compose himself and keep his cool aaaaand enough of standing still in front of the huge telescope. So he turned around... in a reluctant way, just to make sure that the one who was calling him is a person not a ghost.

And then he found out who was it. How come that she was searching for him? Didn't she see him? Well, he was in the dark soo yeah... "I'm right here," he said in a low tone so that if there were really dark creatures creeping in the dark, he wouldn't perturb them.

He walked toward Miranda after taking a deep breath. "What are you doin' here, Miranda? And as you see, I'm err stargazing." Perhaps Miranda would like to do stargaze too? Wooooot! He'd got a plan!

Squint.
Seriously, why was it so dark in here? WAS it usually dark in here? She had never been up here before... Hm.
There was some shuffling over there and Miranda turned to look at that direction. Taking a few steps over there while still trying to regain her breath, hoping it wasn't a BAT or a CAT about to attack, she finally heard Cedric's voice and merrily made her over to him quicker. Ah, yes, see? There he was. But...why was he talking so low?

"Oh, I followed you here." To the point. Hehe. And so weird, but...yeah. Whatever. "I saw you heading up here and I couldn't call after you...I needed all my air to get up those stairs..." She pursed her lips. "Stargazing? Oooooooh. That's coool." Wait, was he doing homework? And how did that GIGANTICUS telescope work? Better not touch it though. But gah, she was here because of her friend and totally hugged the boy. "So how have you been? I haven't seen you in aaaaaaages!" Hehe.

Nymphy saw the observatory as the perfect place to work on his bird house. He got out his completed base and looked at the next direction. he was to cut a hole for the bird to go in. He got out the mini saw he had brought and began to cut. Once cut, Nymphy proceeded to sand the edges becasue it is very hard to cut a perfect circle the first time. When he was finished, he relaized that he was late for Ancient Runes and hurried off.

Trixie arrived at the observatory, where oddly enough she had never been before. Weird seeing as Astronomy was her favourite lesson. Ah well. Once she arrived in the tower she took off her backpack and sat down on the floor. Well at least she could hide somewhere she would enjoy. And she might even be joined later. Well she hoped she would. Camping wasn't fun by yourself. So the blonde fifth year took a quick glance around the room before reaching across for her bag.

Fia owled a letter to Miles. She wanted to roam the castle, going to a new place they'd never been before. Her feet carried her up to the observatory, the one place where they could count stars and talk about anything and everything. A romantic evening is what she wanted to have.

Miles had nearly fallen out of bed as an owl had come into the dorm and dropped a letter on his head. Now he found himself rushing up the stairwell to the observatory, shrugging on a sweater. As he reached the landing he looked around with a yawn, "Fi?" he was sure his hair was a mess. Maybe going to bed early today hadn't been such a great idea.

Fia turned her head in the direction of Miles's voice to speak but stopped abruptly. Her eyes grew wide as both her eyebrows disappeared in her hair. "Wowww. Just wake up?" She blinked her eyes as her hand went up to immediately tame his hair at least to some point.

Miles looked at Fia when he saw her and laughed as she felt the need to straighten his hair. Unlike Cela he didn't have issues if Fia did it. "Yeah, need to study tomorrow so I thought I'd go to bed early," he chuckled and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. He smiled, "But when you call I come," he smirked and gave her a kiss before looking around. "Pretty night out."

"Good answer," Fia giggled as she wrapped her arms around Miles, rubbing her nose against his. "You should always say that every time I call, you appear. It's what good husbands do for their wives." There! She said it! "I thought it was which is why I asked you to meet me here. I thought we could get in a little star gazing for a bit."

Miles smirked at Fia's response and chuckled as she rubbed her nose against his. "And what do good wives do for their husbands?" he asked with a smirk not missing how she finally had said those two words. "That sounds fun," he said with a smile and grabbed her hand. Moving further out he looked up at all the stars with a smile. "What if we had the wedding at night..." he said randomly as he looked up at the stars with a smile.

Fia raised a brow at Miles' question. "If you don't know then, we have bigger issues than we ever thought." She really didn't want to say, not at the moment. "Fine! Wives cook, clean, walk around barefoot and have babies. Anything else?" She was playing as though she were upset but far from it as she knew that Miles was only joking.

"If we have the wedding at night, we have to feed people." Which meant it would take longer for them to start their lives together. If he was okay with that, she was not picky. "It doesn't matter to me, although a night wedding would be actually very pretty. But don't we need a theme first?" Was the girl speaking about their marriage to one another? Why yes she was.

Miles raised an eyebrow at Fia's response to his question and shook his head, "Umm...no...what is this the 18th century? If my mum heard you talk like that she'd have a stern talk with you and then me for supposedly thinking such things." Wrapping his arms around her again he hugged her tightly. "And if you think I think those things then we do have an issue."

"Well we'd have to feed people anyway..." He said with a laugh before looking at her. A small smile came to his lips at her question. "Is my Fi talking about our wedding without a painful look on her face?" he teased and kissed her hand. "I don't know do weddings have themes?"

"Far from thinking that way, Miles. I would have to punch you in the stomach if you thought that way. Then again, I wouldn't be marrying you if you did." Her eyes rolled as she knew what he was about to do and say. For so long she would make faces if they spoke of their wedding as it was hard to talk about, but now, things were different. She knew what she wanted and knew it was the right thing to do. Plus they were waiting until school was out.

"Miles, I know about as much about weddings as you do. It was just a guess." She smiled, watching him kiss her hand like a gentleman always kisses her lady. She was a lucky person to have him.

Miles laughed knowing full well that she probably would punch him if he ever thought that way. Fi was never one to mess with when she was mad. "That's a thing I need to remember," he said with a smirk.

"Well this is bound to be an interesting adventure then," he said with a chuckle. Moving closer to the edge of the observatory he looked out and then back at Fia. "I think a night time wedding would be awesome." He leaned against the wall as he looked at her with a smile. "We could light up the whole place with those ball things I bought this summer when I had you over for dinner that night."

Without missing a beat or taking her eyes off of the stars, Fia raised both eyebrows and smirked while Miles spoke. "I'm sure it is something you will never forget," she said as she knew if he forgot, she would quickly remind him in some form or fashion.

Hmmm. Was that the only reason Miles wanted a night time wedding? Fireworks? "I'm sure yo have them in your pockets at this very moment." Considering that she tried taking them away from him while they were somewhere on the grounds one day at the beginning of school.

"Ohhh! A shooting star." She pointed up to the sky then closed her eyes to make a wish.

Miles looked at Fia and laughed, "No actually I don't. In fact...." He frowned thoughtfully, "I don't know where they are..." Hmmm. He scratched the back of his head and gave a shrug. "Cela probably stole them in the middle of the night or something. I'd say Tor did since he also knew I had them but..." He shrugged again, "Oh well."

Following her hand pointing toward the sky he saw the shooting star and smirked. He didn't need to make a wish he had what he wanted and it seemed they were finally on the same page. Turning his head he watched as she closed her eyes and he was sure she was making a wish. She was beautiful in the moonlight. Leaning in he kissed her softly. Pulling back he smiled, "So what'd you wish for?"

Fia returned Miles' kiss and grinned. "I should've wished that you knew where your fireworks were." She couldn't help but giggle, looking back to the sky. "Now you know I can't tell my wish. It wouldn't come true if I did." She reached to link her arm with his, then leaned her head against his shoulder. "So who do you think will be happier, your parents or Ivan?" Anddd of course that called for a grin.

Miles laughed and shook his head, "No cause then I'd want to set them off and probably get in detention again." He smiled at her and nudged her shoulder with his, "Well then it better be a good one."

As she linked her arm in his and leaned against his shoulder he smiled at her and then scoffed. "Mum...and dad will side with mum like always. There's a man who knows how to pick his battles and since mum is usually right there are rarely any battles...and Ivan will still be Ivan." He pursed his lips thoughtfully, "I don't know why he has such an issue with me but he's doing everything he can to annoy me. He's taken to bothering Brody as well now..." He sighed and shook his head forcing a smile, "Anyway...what about your dad? What do you think he'll think?"

He wasn't sleepy.

Xylon was pretty sure he shouldn't have written that note to Gold. Pretty sure. But it would bring here here and at times that, and not a bunch of rules is what matters.

Fia gave a hearty laugh. "Well, it's just as well. I don't think I can handle you in detention again." She was absolutely miserable without him around even if it was just for a short time or not.

And when Miles began about his parents then moved to Ivan, she pressed her lips together in a semi forced grin. "Yup," she kindly slipped over that part and moved straight to her father. "I think he will be happy. He knows how you take care of me, well how we both take care of each other. He knows it is a good match and wouldn't want it any other way."

Like she hadn't known it was a fake.

She had, not because she was the kind of Know-It-All Xylon always suggested, but because of the fact that she knew Xylon. Shaking her head, Gold stepped into the Observatory, and decided not to look at the stars, and admire how beautiful they were.

For now, she had a Xylon Saar on her hands.

"You should have known," she said, trying not to sound exasperated. "What do you want now, Xylon?"

Oh. Right.

"I did," Xylon shrugged.
Smirk.

He sat down on the edge of the floor and grinned up at her. "I couldn't sleep," he offered by way of explanation. ".......... and I want Rae."

Strange. He had never talked about Rae in front of Gold before.
Well! He was now.

UGH.

Just... ugh!

"Xylon." Gold's voice was impatiently, impaaaaatiently patient. She sat down, next to him, crossing one leg over the other, yoga-style. "You know you make me mad, don't you?"

She gave him a totally sweet smile, before adding, "I'm not Rae. If you want her, you should have owled her."

The things Xylon Saar could whip up, to annoy her.
