Raising her hand Marie asked, "How is it that YOUR ipod works at Hogwarts when it is a known fact that muggle gadgets do NOT work within the school." Mmhmm, explain that one.

Marcus had to admit that he was still wary about the sudden affection that the Slytherin girls were showing him. And when Marie came to sit beside him, he flinched on the inside but made absolutely no reaction on the outside.

He was still waiting for them to turn on him and what better time then when he was sitting playing one of them.

It took him a moment to realise what she had placed in his lap and where it had come from and he turned slowly to look at her. "You're free!" he exclaimed and breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank Merlin for that.

"You sure you don't want to keep it as a souvenir?" he teased as he bumped his shoulder with hers.

Selena's patience was wearing thin. How did the professors deal with this? For longer than ten minutes? Because she felt like throwing herself off the Astronomy Tower right now. "I don't think I'm making it all up because there are other students with it and it works fine in the school," she said patiently, preventing herself from snapping at the girl. She had seen people using it in the school before. "I would love to show it to you, except it's in the dorms," she shrugged. She didn't carry it with her everywhere, what was the point in that? "And yes, I do not know the answer to all questions because after all, as you seem to want to say, I'm just a first year," she said. She was not going to glare at the girl, no matter how much she wanted to. Her solution was to ignore the girl if she asked anymore questions.

Jacob's head was still facing the ceiling as a new person came up to the front. Weird, he kind of understood what was going on, so he looked over towards Lawson and whispered to him, "May I go too?" after who ever lawson would put him after.

Jacob moved his head back to look up at the ceiling, and raised his hand, not looking at the 'professor' up front."How do these computer encryptions work? Do you have to be a spy to know them, or could anyone break it? Do they teach you it a spy school?" yeah it was weird but he was curious... he did have this techno-mumbo-jumbo out at sea.

"Hey Marie, just because she's a first year doesn't mean it's not possible. The Room of Requirement runs off of magic, BUT electricity works in there, if you ask the room to allow it. If the battery keeps a charge, then I'm not sure why it wouldn't at least play music. Don't go attacking her just because she's a first year either!" Zane said, getting really mad at this pompous girl. Selena may hate him sometimes, but he was still her friend.

"I actually don't know, but you don't need to be a spy to actually know how to encrypt data, you can be some normal person," she said, "but everyone does it differently and they can put up firewalls and all sorts of shields to prevent data from being known," she said, "I do not know what they teach in spy school, so I'm afraid I cannot answer that question as well," she said apologetically.

BEcause the only mugle object that doesn't work in Hogwarts is something running off Electicy which requires a plug, this requires to be charged up and does not require to be plugged in meaning it could work in School." I know that I personally have to use special charms to make electronics work at Hogwarts but if Selena believes that her iPod works here by using the Room of Requirement then let's just take her word for it okay?"

He had combed this castle many times and he was pretty sure that he had not even scratched the surface of its secrets.

Marcus turned to look at Marie and he couldn't help but smile just a little. "Let's keep our fists and feet to ourselves. Just this once."

Finally! Alex thought dropping the glare towards HER She was firmly ignoring HER now. She wasn't even so much as speaking to her. She smiled at Selena and well she realised she was really bored. She gave Zane a look and then Selena one saying not to bother, next time the girl even tried something Alex was using a spell she learned to make sure she couldn't speak.

Sweet Merlin!

This class was getting worse than last one, and there were NO Muggle tools in here. Well, except the one that was stuck to Evelyn..and the one that was NOT stuck to Marie anymore!

Destiny gave her friend a thumbs up that the Charm had wore off, and glanced to Evelyn to see if hers had. The way she was sitting, it was hard to tell. She would find out sooner or later though.

Buuuut back to business; which was all the commotion going on around her. She was starting to get a headache from all this muggle talk, and the yelling wasn't helping it any. She couldn't even remember what this Professor girl was talking about in the first place, since the topic ad gotten all switched up. Now they were talking about Hogwart's a History?

Whaaaaaat?

Now she was EVEN more confused.

She did know that quite a few people needed calming draughts.

And this time, Lawson wasn't one of them.

"Pssssst, Marie! Do YOU need a calming draught?"

Alex smiled knowingly at Selena motioning for her to take a seat and glaring at anyone that may disagree, Selena needed to rest now people back off! Alex was saying with her glare.

Zane looked around and noticed that it was HIS turn. Oh gods..this was going to be fun. Zane limped up to the front of the room, and collected his thoughts. What to do this presentation on...ah ha! He had it! He vowed to thank his father once he got home for the summer break. "Today, we're going to learn about cars! More specifically, American Cars." he said, mostly because that's the only cars he knew about. His dad had always told him that England never really made good cars, and Zane had just taken his word for it. "There are three big motor vehicle companies in the States, they are Ford, GMC, which stands for General Motor Company, and Dodge. Each company has many sub-companies under it and they all make cars, trucks, vans, and any other full sized vehicle on the roads. I'm not going to go into the fine details of the models of the vehicles unless someone really wants to know. Anyone have any questions?" he asked, knowing that their would be.

Alex sniggered, "Uh.. What are cars? and can you explain.. in words I can understand?" Alex asked confused. Raising her eyebrows and everything.

She watched the girl walk back to her desk and then some shouting happened from the Professor (no, it wasn't directed at herself, hehe) and soon enough another dude took over the role as 'your 15 minutes of Professorness'.

When the boy had stopped talking, Miranda raised her hand again. "Sir, what do you think about FLYING cars...are there any in the muggle world?" Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Ooo, CARS!

Destiny knew what they were! She had seen QUITE a few 'car chases' on the muggle box, and she was especially fond of the one type of car, the one with the flashing lights on the top and the loud noise it makes. Yeah! The policey people car!

They were awesome!

She raised her hand HIGH and waved it around to get the Professor boy's attention, "PROFESSOR BOY! Have YOU ever been in a policey people car? You know, the kind with the FLASHING lights and the loud NOISE!?"

She hoped he said YES!

Zane smiled as he got questions, teaching was kinda fun. "Cars, Ms. Alex are what muggles use to travel, much like we Wizards Apparate. They are used daily, but they smell bad because they have to "gas them up" with petroleum based fuels. Now Ms. Miranda, flying cars. They do not know of flying cars, or they don't know about them as far as I know. More questions? That's Professor Hayes, Ms. Destiny, and no I have not had the pleasure of riding in a police car, but I have seen them. I believe they are Chevrolet's or Fords. And before you ask, Chevrolet, pronounced Sh-ev-er-lay, is a sub company of GMC.
