"You my dear Gold are certainly Aphrodite!" Patroclus beamed, his chargers were all growing up so fast! "Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love," Patroclus added for the benefit of all the students!
OOH. "That fits me," Gold laughed. She sounded slightly vain, but she knew she was pretty -- and, when you considered that she hung out with Brody Summers, Lorelai Bristol and Torin Kane, you had to say that she wasn't half as vain as her friends! Or maybe that was what she thought, because she considered her occasional vanity [yes, it was occasional] a problem, and always tried to make sure she didn't let it grow on her.
Unlike those besties of hers.
She raised her hand again, to get Patroclus's attention. "Can I have another go, sir?" She asked. "... and if yes, am I female?" If he said no, well then, she would just go back and watch the others play. That couldn't hurt, could it? She glanced at Xylon as she thought this, wondering what he was up to. He had been pretty quiet, for the past, few minutes.
Finally! Smiling with relief, Emmy said, "Well, in that case, I must be... Hades!" After all, there was only one Greek god ofthe Underworld - wasn't there!
"Correct again Emmy!" Patroclus clapped, smiling. "You truly know your gods and goddesses!"

Patroclus was unsure whether or not he was to continue as student teacher, he had been in the role for quite sometime now, and thought maybe it was time to pass on the torch. However Lawson had not yet returned and Patroclus thought it best to carry on till then, after all most of the other children in the class seemed to have mentally checked out.
With this in mind Patroclus beamed at Gold, "Of course you can, and No not female this time!" The boy decided he was going to pick an slightly harder god for Gold this time round, she was after all a Sixth student, and a brainy one at that!

Gold had expected as much. To be honest, she liked it this way, too. Especially because her knowledge of female Greek goddesses was, on the whole, comparatively better than that of male ones. Which would obviously mean that this round would, for her, be more of a challenge.
She grinned. "Lovely! Am I a goddess of the hunt?"
"Nope!" Patroclus grinned cheekily!

"Do I rule Mount Olympus?" She asked, cheerfully.
She was having fun!
"And Nope!"
The boy was really enjoying the game, and it seemed from the others faces they were too!
Yay fun all round!

OOH. Gold's hand shot into the air, again. "Can I cause storms and earthquakes, sir?" she asked.
She would like that, actually. To be able to control nature. Weather. Sort of like Storm, from the X-Men series. She had only started reading those comics, after Dylan had mentioned Ironman.
Dylan.
God. She didn't need to ruin this lesson, for herself.

Arya had COMPLETELY zoned out while the class played some sort of game. Her small stash of candy had her undivided attention, mainly the bott beans. Havin eaten a buggey flavored bean, she had to make sure that it didn't happen again. After separating the beans by color, tasting them and discarding the ones that were similar to the discusting beans, she finally looked up at the professor.....and was lost.
What were they doing? Listening for a few moments all she could figure was that it was some guessing game about Greek Gods. She sorta knew about them. Her kneazle was named after one. Did that count? She didn't know, cause she was lost. Munching on a grass flavored bean, she watched the game at hand.

Gold glanced down at her rose-gold wristwatch. Patroclus had been Professor Hudson for quite a while, now. They needed to move on, and wrap things up, pretty soon. She had no idea when Professor Lawson would be back, but she was pretty sure he wouldn't appreciate it if the class had turned into a drag, into his absence.
It hadn't yet, and Gold didn't want it to, either.
"Patroclus?" She asked, politely. "When we're done with this game, I think it's time to let someone else take over. You're doing a great job," she added. Celebrity Heads. She liked the game.
She settled a green gaze on Fallon.
"You're up next," she said, cheerfully. "If you would still like to take over, after Patroclus?"

God. She didn't need to ruin this lesson, for herself.
Seriously.
"Nopey Nope!" Patroclus replied, laughing.

Patroclus smiled, he knew it was time. He had been Professor for ages it felt, and he was more than happy to pass on. "Thats perfect with me Miss Gold!"
The boy-professor had enjoyed the lime light, but he was OK with bowing out!
Hearing that their student professor was stepping down, Emmy slumped. "Are we still playing the same game?" she hoped they were, because it was rotten having to leave something half finished.

OOH.
Gold raised her hand, again. "Well, am I a messenger to the gods, then?" She asked, hopefully.
"Thanks," she said, when Patroclus agreed that it was time someone else took over. Of course, he would have to wrap up the game, first. This round was still going on, which meant they needed to complete it.

Patroclus smiled, "We are still going! We just have to go quickly as my time is just about up!"

Celebrity Heads = Love, Gold decided.
"No." Patroclus hoped Gold was nearly there, he didn't want to stop when they weren't done! That was not his way!!!

Whoa. This one was a tough cookie!
"Right," Gold said. She studied the choices that she had left, now. "Perhaps I'm linked with warfare, then?" She didn't like the thought, but it was an option she would have to consider.

Patroclus let out a small laugh, he could see he had caught Gold,"however her question had caught him.
Pausing for a moment Patroclus had a think and decided the best answer was, "No"

Shucks! But Gold had a feeling she had it, now. The answer. Though Patroclus's response could very well prove her wrong.

"Am I lame?" She asked.
What a horrible thought, really!

"Yes"
Emmy smiled again, "Well in that case, just as a wild guess - an absolute shot in the dark you understand!" she said with a wink, "Am I... Demeter?"

"Correcto!" Patroclus grinned as he jumped up and down on the stop, clapping as he did! "I award you 5 points for excellent guessing" the boy cried, knowing full well none of his points would actually exsist, he wasnt a real professor after all!

"Yes"
Score!
"Does that mean I'm Hephaestus?" Gold asked, hand still in the air, eyes bright. She was sure she was correct, this time round. Hephaestus was the only Greek god who was lame.
But, if she was correct, it would also mean that Patroclus's 'lesson' would have to come to a close. Gold felt sad, about that. Was it selfish of her to want to continue to play this game?
