Walking around the classroom for what will probably be the very last time, Professor Lawson did away with the desks and chairs and replaced them with soft comfy couches and some bean bags.

He still hadn't decided exactly what he was going to do in this class and figured since it was his last then he would just wing it.

But of course it would be fun.

Plopping down on the couch he had conjured for himself, Lawson flicked his wand at the door and it sprung open. "Come on in and make yourselves comfortable."

Gold paused, at the door. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go in. Not sure for a lot of reasons. So she dawdled in the doorway and then, realizing that Professor Lawson would spot her and ask why on earth she hadn't come inside yet, slowwwwly stepped in.

"How are you today, Professor?"

She looked up at him out of big, green eyes. He had told her, once, that she could come to him, if she ever needed to talk. Could she go to him, if she ever needed a hug? Gold pondered over this, as she took in that there were no desks, but bean bags and couches, in the classroom, today.

Life. Life.

Jacob walked through the door to see bean bags and couches... 'Make themselves comfortable'? alright. Jacob walked to an empty couch and jumped on, laying himself across the entire length of it. There he was comfy! Jacob put his feet up on the arm. Very comfy! Then Jacob realized he had been rude... without a greeting, "Hello Professor, whatcha going to teach us to day?" he asked, hopefully how to sleep... the muggle way, cause the comfy couch was making Jacob tired.

Mina slowly made her way toward the classroom door. She was happy to be attending Muggle Studies and all, but she felt something was amiss. Shaking the feeling, she put on a miss and passed through the door.

Seeing Professor Lawson, she smiled as she took notice of the lack of desks. "Hello Professor, wonderful day is it not?" she beamed.

She liked lack of desks so and made her way toward a comfy couch, sitting down and waited for her friends.

Arya had completely forgotten about the Muggle Studies lesson. Thankfully she had been reminded when a group of huffies had been chatting about it in the common room while she was about to take a nap. Running through the door, she came to a skidding halt when she realized that she wasn't late. Awesome.

A big grin spread across her face when she scanned the room and noticed the couches and bean bags. "Hey, Sir Lawson!" She exclaimed happily as she tossed her bag beside a bean bag and plopped herself onto the green bag. "How ya doin?"

Selena walked into the classroom with a smile on her face. Oooh, lookie!! There were beanbags and couches!! She wondered why though... Maybe he was going to let them use the time for napping? "Hello Professor Lawson, how are you?" she said cheerfully. She plopped down on a beanbag and smiled. hehehe. Make herself comfortable. Does that mean eating too? Because she had a box of jelly beans waiting to be eaten... Hyper was probably a bad thing, seeing as he didn't seem quite happy in his last class. She sighed. The bean bag was so squishy and comfortable. She should've brought a teddy bear.

Muggle Studies! The one class Katie could honestly say she always looked forward to, no matter what kind of mood she was in. Of course, it helped that their Professor was pretty awesome. Following a couple of students in, the young Hufflepuff smiled brightly as her dark eyes found Professor Lawson. "Hi Professor," she greeted while wandering over to one of the bean bag chairs, choosing a red one, Katie dropped her bag beside it and made herself comfortable. "Not working with tools today, sir?"

Mehhhhhhh.

For the last twenty minutes, Destiny was having a mental fight with herself whether or not to show up to Lawson's last class EVER. What was she going to doooo when he left?

More importantly, which Professor was she going to bother?

Eh, they could always bother the next Muggle Studies Professor..in memory of Lawson and stuff.

Taking the longest way possible, in hopes that she was sooo late for class Lawson wouldn't let her in, she finally reached the classroom and..

..she wasn't even LATE!

By the looks of it, she was EARLY!

How did THAT happen?

It was those moving staircases. It had to be! She would show those staircases one day, she would.

With her bag dragging behind her, and her hand covering up the still very visible THIEF written across her forehead, Destiny walked into the classroom not even noticing the lack of desks. She did, however, see Lawson sitting on a sofa..alone. Plopping down riiiiiight beside him, she removed her hand from her forehead and turned to him, "Sooo, Marcus." He wasn't their Professor anymore, she could call him by his first name, "You want to hear about them turtles NOW!?"

Pfft, just because he was leaving, didn't mean she would stop bothering him.

Marie practically ran to class today. Normally she would have taken her time getting to this class but not today. She knew the time was getting short and soon Peofessor Lawson wouldn't be around anymore. She didn't want to miss one minute of bugging class with Lawson. Not to mention she still had that blasted saw in her hand AND she still couldn't move her arm.

Maybe today he would REMEMBER how to reverse the charm.

Practically running through the door she stopped suddenly when she seen all the desks had been replaced with comfy looking couches and bean bags. What was this all about? No crazy tools today? Maybe he was going to teach them how muggles like to be lazy and just lounge around... Like he was doing on that couch with Destiny.

OR

Maybe he was going to teach them what it was like to go through a middlelife crisis like he was going through.

Yeah, that had to be it.

"Hey Professor L. How's life been treating you lately?" she asked as she plopped down next to him...

With that saw right between them, close to his leg. "Remember how to reverse this charm yet?"

Now he had Marie on one side... with the saw, AND Destiny on the other side... telling more turtle tales.

Now all they needed was Evelyn to come in and sit on his lap. He would be TRAPPED and not able to leave them. :evillaugh

Fallon walked into one of her all time favorite classes. She loved Muggle Studies so much. Especially with Lawson. She smiled at the Professor. "Hello Professor Lawson. How're you today?"

She then went and found herself a nice comfy bean bag up front. She didn't question the lack of desks. It was rather nice and would probably make this lesson her favorite of the year.

Zane walked into the classroom ahead of Alex, beating her to class. "Hi Professor Lawson." he said, walking past the professor. He plopped down on a beanbag near Selena and waited on the lesson to start.

Selena was in a surprisingly good mood. Maybe not so surprising, but still. She smiled at Zane. "Hello Zane," she said all happily and friendly. She just scared herself. Someone... kill her... she was just nice to Zane... of all people...

"Hello Gold. I am doing..." he trailed off. He would be lying if he said he was doing good because well he wasn't. Lawson was a little bit sad but he didn't want to let that show so he turned the focus back onto the Gryffindor.

"How are you doing Gold? You look a little...not yourself."

"That is a good question Jacob, one I am still trying to work out." he gave the kid a wink and grinned. Actually he had a couple of ideas.

"Hello Mina" he said and then shrugging his shoulders a little. "It's okay I suppose."

Grinning back at Arya, he gave her a slight bow. "Hey there Maid Arya. I'm doing alright. How about you?"

"Hello Selena. I'm okay. How's yourself?"

Lawson chuckled at Katie, "No tools today." Well not the material type anyway. Some of the kids though, that was something else entirely.

Marcus raised an eyebrow as Destiny came to sit beside him on the couch and he could not help but stare at her forehead.

Damn!

That charm must have been a strong one. The writing wasn't fading at all. He seriously hadn't thought that one through properly.

At her question he couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Hang on just second."

Oh bugger!

Now Marie had decided to take up the other side of him and he had this awful feeling that the girls were up to something.

"Life has been treating me okay Marie" he replied warily as he looked down at the saw still in her hand.

Ooops.

Marcus chewed on his bottom lip for a moment, "I know how to reverse charms Marie but just not those ones. I made sure they weren't reversible. It was supposed to teach you a lesson."

Err...perhaps he shouldn't have said that. Maybe he should move, these girls were going to kill him.

He gave Fallon a wave and smiled at her, "I'm fine thank you Fallon and how are you doing today?"

"Hello Zane" he said inclining his head towards the boy.

Marcus cleared his throat very aware of the two girls sitting beside him and probably staring daggers at him.

"So before we start the class today. Destiny here has something she would like to share with the rest of the class." He turned towards the Slytherin girl and gave her a little smirk. "The floor is all yours, my dear."

Fallon giggled a little as she watched Lawson talk to the two girls that had sat down next to him on the couch. It was kind of interesting.

She smiled back at the professor. "I'm doing fine myself, professor." Yep. He was by far one of her favorite teachers.

Fallon's mood perked a little more at the mention of the start of class. She raised an eyebrow at Lawson. This is...different. He was definately up to something.

Oh. Of course.

"You look a little... not yourself too, Professor," Gold said, her voice all whisper-y. She took a seat, and gave him a tiny smile, and wondered about him and Professor Morgan-Lawson and a lot of other things.

Then she eyed what was about to happen - she didn't know what, but she had an idea. AND, of course, she knew it would be crazy. Come on, it was Destiny! - and... well, waited for it to take place.

Just... okay? That wasn't good. "I'm doing great," she replied with a bright smile. She then turned her attention on the Slytherin girl. Destiny... that was her name. Destiny, like Evelyn, didn't really seem to like her. Oh wells. She waited for the announcement. It wasn't anything bad though... right? Maybe just something really random...?

Katie grinned, nodding her head a bit before gathering her hair from around her shoulders, moving the curls to her back. "Good." They'd had enough of tools to last the rest of term, she thought, pulling one of her legs in under her to get more comfy Katie smoothed her skirt over her knees as she waited. Looking up as Professor Lawson addressed them, the Hufflepuff's attention then turned to one of the two girls on eitherside of the man.

He squirmed in his chair. He knew he should have gone to the bathroom before the lesson started. This was going to be pure torture and it was a hell of his own making. His foot started to tap nervously as he tried to think of things other than waterfalls and the lake with the giant squid.

Alex entered the classrom knowing she was very nearly late and sat near Zane on a free Bean Bag She heard what the Professor had said and waited for the girls to speak.

"I'm doing swell, Professor." She giggled when he bowed to her. Laying on her stomach, she squirmed in the bean bag for a moment until she had gotten comfortable.

Destiny was going to share something with them? This should be interesting. Resting her head in her hands, she turned a lazy eye to the Slytherin girl and waited for her to teach them something.

"I'm glad life is treating you so well," she said glancing at the saw in her hand then back up at him.

Well crap, he still didn't know how to reverse the blasted charm that was holding that saw in her hand. He really was getting old if he can't remember...

WHAT!?

NOT reversible! The man had totally lost his mind. What the heck kind of lesson was this supposed to teach? DON"T ever touch muggle tools because they will get stuck in your hand. Nice lesson.

First he ties her to Destiny for half the term, now he won't take the saw out of her hand. Remind her again WHY she doesn't want him to leave.

Huh, Destiny has something to share with the class? Like how mean Lawson is, or how he is going to leave, or how he is going through a middlelife crisis?

He should really let Marie share some of those things too... or not.

That would be an understatement but he tried in vain to give Gold a smile to show that he was okay but it came out all kinda wobbly like. "How about we have a talk after class, yeah?"

Looking at the Slytherin squirming in his seat, Marcus let out a small chuckle. "Dillon, do you need a bathroom pass?"

Glancing at Marie out of the corner of his eye, Lawson gave a sort of grimace. She was definitely going to kill him.

Life probably wasn't going to be treating him so well after these girls get through with him.

Eh fun times?

Destiny didn't like the fact that Marcus was laughing at her. She KNEW that it had nothing to do with the question about the turtles. He was laughing at the big red letters on her forehead.

He was probably so HAPPY that this crazy Charm didn't wear off yet.

Sorta like a payback for making his life Hell.

Uh-oh.

Destiny did not like where this was going. She didn't expect Marcus to make her speak in front of the WHOLE entire class about the stupid turtles. She mentally slapped herself for even bringing it up. She should have known he would do something like this, especially now with the words on her forehead.

Who would take her seriously?

Not that the turtle fact was something to take seriously.

Fine. She would do it..mostly because he gave her that creepy annoying smirk of his.

Standing up to face the class, she took a deep breath in, trying to remember what she had read in that book. How she wished it was with her now. "Some turtles, like the Fly River turtle can breath out of their butts. They pump water into a vent thing called..something..it's the place where they go to the bathroom..I don't know how to say that word. Yeah. Anyways..the air that is absorbed through the blood tissue things help the turtle stay under water longer! Breathing out of their butts!"

With a very dramatic bow, Destiny took her seat next to Lawson.

Pfft, she should soooo be a Professor.

Patroclus had heard whispers of the departure of the Lawson's but had brushed it aside as mere gossip, but as he sat with his legs folded underneath him on the comfy couch, he could tell from the way that Mr. Lawson moved about the classroom, and interacted with the students, that those whispers were indeed true, and Patroclus wasn't at all surprised how that made him feel quite blue.
Lucky Destiny was to take the floor, and that girl always cheered him up, and he hoped she was unveiling a plan to keep Mr and Mrs Lawson around for a little bit longer....

But Alas he was wrong, Destiny's talk was on turtles. However it did make him smile from ear to ear.

Alex opened and closed her mouth before bursting into hysterical laughter at the third year Slytherin. Really? Had the girl just said that? Alex stopped her laughter looking at the Professor, "Please tell me this class won't be about Turtles breathing out of their behinds?" Alex asked raising her hand.
