"Thanks Kevin", said Ginny as she went to sit down inside the compartment. "Hello", said Ginny to the girl she had never seen before. She looked a bit younger than Ginny.

Kevin smiled at Ginny and said "So looking forward to going back to Hogwarts Ginny"

"I'm looking very forward to it Kevin. I really can't wait for Quidditch", said Ginny.

Kevin grinned and said "Qudditch i cannot wait for qudditch either Ginny" Kevin knew that a lot of his friends liked qudditch but did not play it because they were either scared of flying or had never been on a broom before

"It's so fun", said Ginny. "I just love riding a broom", Ginny told Kevin as Ginny thought if she'd make the Gryffindor Quidditch Team tomorrow.

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah i am the same as you Ginny just love riding on brooms so much"

'Jude, where's your trunk?'

The boy patted his bag. "It's magic. Able to fit everything in there and not have to lug a giant trunk around." he explained with a bright grin.

His smile brightened as she put on his jacket. "That looks better on you than it does on me." Jude said with a firm nod of his head before looking out the window and then back to the girl. He wasn't going to mention that his father hadn't even said goodbye to him except in a note earlier in the week.

"So how do you keep in shape at Hogwarts for your coach?" he asked curiously. Obviously there isn't a gym like what Cadence had in her house so where else was there to go?

Scrambling to scrape all his belongings back into his trunk, Patroclus spied a guy around his own age in a compartment alone with an eagle. Pulling his iPod out of his ears, he pushed open the door and lent in,
"Hey do you mind if I share your compartment", he queried whilst dragging his hand through his hair, ensuring its messy yet impeccable look that he had more then perfected. He looked the boy up and down, and thought to himself, he looks pretty cool.
"Amazing eagle you have there! What type?" the bird was very impressive and had to be remarked upon.

Esilna saw Adelyn looking for a place to sit and saying "If only there was another first year I could sit with...", so she said to her, "You can sit in here if you want. This compartment is almost empty, so there's plenty of room."

The Cavalier (dog) Esilna had brought with her was the puppy of her dog, Chispi, and her (Muggle) friend's dog, Cinnamon. She had already decided to name her Snowy because her fur looked as white and pure as snow. And when the sun shined on it, it looked like snow did in sunlight, only it was not too bright too look at. Esilna took her barn owl out of its cage. She had already decided that her owl would only be in its cage when it was absolutely necessary. She sat there, with the puppy on her lap and the owl perched on her arm, wondering what to name her....

Seeing as Cady either couldn't hear her or didn't want to talk to her Avery moved on. She was sure that she would be able to catch up with Cady while at the feast. Avery moved from compartment to compartment looking in to see if she knew any of the faces. What she really would like to do is find Nymphy. She had missed him a great deal over the summer holiday and now she was ready to get back to seeing her frieds all the time. Avery finally found a compartment that she was going to sit in. "Mind if I join you?" Avery sure hoped not.

Ellie started feeling like this girl was trying to play mind games with her. Really? And she didn't much like the air of superiority Evelyn was giving either.

"I'm sorry," she began, nicely, she'd get more firm as she talked, "You must have heard wrong. I do live in Bristol, yes. But what I meant was that of all the places I have been, Bristol's one of my favorite cities. Even if I didn't live there it would be my favorite. You know, since you usually tend to love your hometown more than anywhere else? So no, I don't like to travel there, necessarily. But I love it." Maybe she should get away soon? Or talk to the nice girl. The one that hadn't been almost interrogating her, and was friendly.

Slater looked up as a girl came in and he felt his cheeks redden - even the side he had put his hand over to hide the scars. N-nnot at all, he said with a tiny bit of a forced smile, though he didn't mind the company at all!

Cadence looked interestedly at the bag as he patted it. That was a pretty cool piece of magic. She never would have guessed that all of his things were in there when she picked it up. "That's pretty neat!" she said, looking back at him with a smile. And then he blushed a bit as he commented on his jacket. She looked down at the floor smiling and then back up at him. "Good, then you won't be too upset if I never give it back," she said with a giggle.

When they moved on to the subject of how she was going to train at school, she thought about it for a moment. "Well, the best solution I've come up with is the Room of Requirement. The problem will be fitting in training around my classes. Personally, I'm not very concerned with it. Gymnastics is just a for now thing. It's not a forever thing. In four years, I'll really be too old to continue doing it anyway, and I can't exactly compete anytime except the summers because I'm at Hogwarts. So, honestly, I'm not too concerned about training," she explained with a bit of a shrug. Plus, she didn't know if she could deal with Coach summer after summer after summer.

And then Cady's name was being screeched, and she turned around just in time to see Avery flying at her before she was encompassed in a hug that practically knocked her backwards. Cadence hugged her back for a moment before she broke away and smiled at her. "Hi Avery! This is my boyfriend Jude. Jude, this is Avery," she explained.

But then, for some reason, Avery was already leaving and moving on. She looked at Jude and shrugged slightly, calling "See ya, Avery!" at the girl's retreating back.

Avery didn't get an answer from the compartment before Cady called her name. "Never mind excuse me" Avery told who ever was in the compartment. She ran back toward Cady! "Hey Cady! Sorry, It looked like you were busy so I moved on! But here I am now!" Avery gave a quick hug and smiled at the new person she was with....what did Cady say his name was?

"No of course I don't mind darling." Jude replied as he continued to smile at the girl who was obviously embarrassed by his comment.

"Oh right, that makes sense. I still think you're really brilliant at it." the boy said remembering the time she had shown him her gymnastic moves.

Just then, someone came into the compartment and hugged Cadence pretty tight, he looked at the girl with utter shock. 'Kind of rude don't you think?' he thought to himself before Cadence introduced him to her friend.

"A pleasure to meet you." he said with a polite smile before his expression turned blank.

As the girl turned away he looked from the door to Cadence and then down to the floor. "Bit odd if you don't mind me saying."

Cadence sat there sort of staring into Jude's eyes, the familiar sensation of not being able to look away coming over her. There was just something about the way he looked at her; it was enchanting, mesmerizing. It was as though he would like nothing more in the world than to just sit there and stare at her all day. No one had ever looked at her in such away. And then she giggled a bit as he commented on her "brilliance." "You have to say that because you're my boyfriend," she said, still laughing at him.

As he commented on Avery's quick departure, Cadence looked from the doorway to Jude with an expression of confusion on her face, simply shrugging her shoulders. That had been very un-Avery-like. Then she turned back toward the compartment door, and...

Avery had come back once again, leaving Cadence feeling even more baffled as to what was going on with her. "Err no, we're not really... busy..." she said as she stood up, moving over to sit next to Jude so Avery would have more room to sit. "How was your summer?"

"I do not. I would've said it even if I wasn't dating you and I'm pretty sure that Torin would agree with me too." Jude insisted with a soft smile.

As Cadence joined him on his side of the compartment, Jude reached for her hand, entwining their fingers together before looking over to the girl that had joined them. He chose to keep quiet solely because he did not know her very well, and didn't want to interrupt hers and Cade's conversation.

Librana walked down the corridor to an empty compartment. This was her first year on the Hogwarts Express and she hardly knew anybody there.

Avery smiled at the boy! "Hello, I've Avery Donner" She walked into the compartment and sat down! She was excited to meet new people and everything was turning out to be such good fun.

Jen was skipping down the hall and noticed a girl that was sitting alone in a compartment, looking slightly uncomfortable, Jen smiled to herself and gathered up the nerve to open the compartment door and talk to her. "Hello, there." Jen said brightly. "I noticed you were sitting alone and i was wondering if i could join you. Unless you are already waiting for someone..." Jen's voice trailed off, not wanting to be rude.

Emma laughed and replied, "It's okay! It has been a long day, after all the good byes we're tiring.. Though my brother actually was pleasant, he smiled and wished me good luck. I know! Me either! It's going to be so much fun at Hogwarts! Now we can rest until we get to Hogwarts! So how was your day?"

Marie was sitting there with her eyes closed trying not to think about the confrontation she just had with Evan when she heard the compartment door open. She opened her eyes just as she heard the voice of the one person she had been looking for. "Carter!" she exclaimed happily. Finally, someone she actually wanted to spend her time with on the train. She wanted to hug him but decided not to. She didn't want him dropping any of his things just because she was overly excited to see him. Hopefully he would sit next to her and not across from her... Then she would give him a hug.

Did she want to be going back to the castle? Of course. Staying there forever? Yes please.

Or so, that was how Lorelai had been feeling at the beginning of the summer, this end of the break however, she couldn't care less about where she was going, who she was going with, nor why she was going. She left her kitten Verity to walk behind her, and headed down the train, bag in hand, heels all packed away in her trunk and then sighed.

Why was she here? No reason. Why was everyone else here? To get an education, or something like that.

The brunette opened the door of the first empty compartment she saw, and took a seat in there, watching out the window, letting Verity play at the floor. She was probably going to end up going to sleep anyway, -- the kitten, not Lorelai, so she didn't need to be watched. However, the landscape did. The runaway tree's did. And the animals they were passing.

-- Where was her boyfriend now?

Isabella walked into the middle cars and looked around, she didn't know many people in the car. But she hoped to make more new friends this year then last. She sat down gingerly and pulled out a book from her bag, hiding her head into it.

''Hey, again Destiney'' something was weird with this girl too. She looked like as if a couple of little worms were biting her back. What was her problem? That grass eating thing Rose mentioned? Whatever it was. And at that point the boy had something interesting to say to this girl. ''If you are interested in things that eat what they should not eat, i'm sure you'll be happy to know that my owl, Hotty, likes to eat fleas. She sometimes follows dogs, cats or kneazles to eat from their back. Interesting is not it?'' Heheheh definitely it was.

How was his summer? ''Well...my summer was like an ordinary one. Mum yelled at me for all the detention i had been in last term as well as for playing quidditch at the final match and she kept doing for about 3 days till dad said it was enough. Except that and the broken leg there was not much action. How about yours? And...'' he turned back to Rose ''...yours?''

As he finished his last word he settled down next to Rose and made himself comfortable and what was she saying was funny. ''Come on. You seriously do not think i would get high grades do you? I can't even get high ones from muggle studies because, i suppose, Lawson does not like me''
