"Right. Thanks.." Annie muttered, really under breath because she wasn't so used to thank guys like Xander, but she was to be a nice lady, and thanking was one of the most weird difficulties of them all.

In some wonder, Annie just thought that Torin must be with Brody, anyways. Either prefects compartment or with his girlfriend, so she wasn't going to look any further, maybe they were busy.

Was that boy...grrr'ing to her?..o.O

She was acting so WEIRD. Girls... He would never understand them! Well, he could understand other ones, just not this one he supposed.

He crossed his arms and leaned back against the window he was standing near. It was open at the top, so his hair was blowing around slightly. Ahh yes, the hair. Maybe that would get her to stop acting so weird and start acting like a normal girl again. Because then she would be like ooh-ing over him.

"So are you excited for this year?" he asked. Lame lame LAME question.

Carter nodded as he watched Marilyn's death glare out of the corner of his eye. He smiled as Marie agreed with everything that he said. She even said she wanted to be his girlfriend! And then, she did the most amazing thing, she kissed him again. He'd been waiting for that for the past month after she'd been battling her feelings. And now here they were and Carter felt like the luckiest guy in the world.

He kissed her back and then she began laying on his shoulder. He put an arm around her. Hopefully things were going to be alright. Ella seemed to like Marie. Destiny was okay with Carter. So if this was any indication of how things would go then they were well on their way.

"Well I think I will be okay...I'll just pretend that I'm not hungry!" Avery smiled at the Mel, she was glad that she had met her! "So are you excited to be going to Hogwarts? I know I was so nervous last year." Avery remembered this same train ride last year and telling Cady how much she was scared for the school year.

Anna blinked. Excited, for her fifth year. Umm..."Well, if you say that being a fifth year is exciting, I guess I am..." She wasn't so much, though. This was her first year with OWL's, it was going to be exhausting. Geez...

Ewww, what was that cologne? That smell coming from his hair?...Annie tried to hide it. It was the bitty thing she couldn't stand, that weird cologne some guys used for styling. She bit her lip and tried not to sniff it again.

"Are you?" Another lame question, but after all there wasn't too much to talk about with Xander, yet.

Willow sat cross-legged on the large bench seat as she talked to her best friends, Janet and Ambrocinius. The ride was almost over, and their 5th year at Hogwarts would soon be starting. They'd already changed into their robes and were spending their last minutes together chatting. "Wonder what'll happen this term?" Willow asked excitedly. "I mean... last term, there were deaths and werewolves!" Willow loved a little excitement. Actually, Willow loved to be a part of the excitement. "Maybe, we could have a little fun of our own..." Willow's eyes glazed over as she began planning...

"If you say so then, you can suffer!" Mel joked to Avery. "Excited yeah I am. For Quidditch mostly! But I'm looking forward to everything," she nodded, smiling and thought about Hogwarts. Hmm, how big, how many rooms, how many tables, chairs, parchment, books. Ooh the possibilities were endless!

Janet laughed silently at Willows sense of adventure. It was great having such great friends that had this adventurous nature in common with one another. Janet's sly smile krept to her face. "Yeah, we can make some adventure happen. But, not to put a dampner on anything, we need to be more careful than I was when I had this adventure of mine with the bee hive." She started laughing, but stopped short. "Ah! I keep forgetting these broken ribs being tied up doesn't allow laughing or hardly even breathing. I can't wait to see madam Pomfrey when we get there! Just save me a seat, and some supper! I plan on eating like I haven't eaten all summer!"

Bella shock her head laughing.

"No" She laughed, "Think i was told sometime though, but forgot!" She laughed again.

She smiled at her friend, "I bet, we should have some competition like this sometime" She offered, chewing her lip.

Bella looked up from talking to her friends, smiling at the girl who stood in the doorway,
"Hey sure"

"Im Isabella Evans, Fourth Year Ravenclaw" She told her.

Willow looked at Janet in sympathy. "Yeah... if you're lucky, she'll have you all fixed-up and out of there before we begin our main courses. I wonder if they'd notice if I sat with you during dinner... I mean, I like all of my fellow Huffelpuffs, but I'd rather sit with either you or Ambrocinius. I mean... why do you think we all wound-up in different houses? You would think, being such great friends, we would've been sorted to the same house, or at least two of us anyway." Willow scratched her nose, "Maybe, we get along so well together since we're all so different... What do you think?" Willow gazed at her friends, with a confused look on her face.

Jude felt his face blush as he looked over to the compartment door as they had another visitor come into the compartment.

'Merlin's beard, Cadence has a lot of friends.' the boy thought to himself as he again put on a polite smile as they boy entered the compartment.

"A pleasure to meet you Nymphy." Jude said with a nod of his head. He looked over to Cadence and saw that she was blushing. His brow furrowed wondering what had caused it but didn't want to say anything in front of company.

Melissa walked happily back to the middle cars and went into the compartment which held, Bella, Ella and Delilah. "Hey guys!" she spoke sittin back down.

Melissa laughed at her.

"Okay, try to remember!" she chuckled.

"Yeah, we should, I'll be happy to beat you!" she winked, and smiled at Bella.

Avery watched as the Mel left the compartment...."Bye...." Avery didn't even have time to say good luck or see you later before Mel was already in the hall way. "Well whatever...I'll see her later! So Cady what's up? How was your summer?" Avery smiled at her best friend.

Janet thought about what Willow had said. It was odd that they were put in different Houses. "Well," she drew out in thought and closed one eye, and bit the corner of her lower lip. "I don't know what happened for the hat to decide the way it did. We didn't become friends till we met that first year. The hat didn't know we would become friends, so that doesn't have any bearing on the dicision. And really, I don't see that we're any different than each other. We all like physical activety. Well," she looked at Ambrocinius and chuckled "with the exception that you don't like to play Quidditch, and Willow and I do. But, I think we're just as loyal to each other, and each as brave as the others, and just as smart," again looking at Ambrocinius, and grinning, "well, I have to admit that Ambrocinius has more gray matter than the two of us put together, but Willow, you and I are no dummies either. And all the other atributes each House has I think we share equally. So, I don't know why we ended up in seperate Houses. But, what we can do is, you go ahead and set at your House table, and if I get there before the eating starts, I'll go to my table and listen to the announcements, then when eating starts I'll come over to your table. Ambrocinius, you can do the same. And if you're all eating when I come in, I'll just join you at your table. Does that sound ok"

Cadence just sat in silence for a few moments, glancing at Jude out of the corner of her eye every so often, and every time her eyes caught his, she would smile and look away quickly, trying very hard to hold back her silly little giggles. Avery and a friend had once again joined them in the compartment, and Cadence smiled at the two of them, Avery and the girl she introduced as Mel. Trying to be nice, Cadence began, "I'm Cadence. It's nice to..." and then the girl was apparently leaving the compartment, "...meet you..." she trailed off. Well, that had been a bit rude for her to just leave without excusing herself. Turning to look at Jude, she gave him an expression of confusion and shrugged her shoulders ever so slightly as if to say she had no idea what was going on. Turning back to Avery, she smiled at her kindly, "My summer was... fantastic," she said, turning her smitten expression to Jude. "And how was yours?"

Bella smiled as she say her friend walk back in
"Hey Mel"

She giggled, "I will, i promise" She laughed hard.

"We should, and involve us all, Me, You, Dehlilah and Ella" She nodded.

Jude looked to the door in confusion.

'What is it with all these people coming in and leaving as they seem fit?' he thought to himself. 'You'd think they'd actually knock and see if they can come in here first...'

The boy sighed and leaned back in his seat closing his eyes in concentration, not caring so much if he was ignoring people because in all honesty, none of them were his friends. And he wanted to be alone with Cadence, but since that wasn't going to happen anytime soon, he was going to stay in silence.

"Hey Bella!"

Mel laughed. "Okay okay, I shall jam it into your head when you find out!" she joked.

"Yeah, I will beat you guys, ya know," she nodded, she wasn't joking she could stay up all night to study.

"Well knowing me i'll forget! I guess i'll have to write it down, save me from asking all the time" She laughed. Looking down at her hands she noticed she still had her cards in her hands, smiling slightly she shoved them back into her bag.

She glared a little before laughing, "Really? You should know i've very competitive" Nodding she giggled.

Isabella got into thetrain last minute and panted as she stood at the footboard of the train.
man...that was close... she thought and shook her head.
She dragged her trunk along the corridors and excused herself amongst the already crowded corridor and began to look for an empty compartment
now that's a distant dream she thought and shook her head as she found nearly all the compartments full.

"Okay, you better keep some a quill and parchment at all times then!" Mel joked.

Mel raised her eyebrows when Bella glared at her then laughed with her. "Really! So am I, but I will make sure that I beat you and too make sure, I will read all the books everyday, even though I have memorised them, I will," she wasn't going to back down from it.

She giggled, putting her hand back into her bag and pulling out some spare parchment and a old looking quill. She laughed as she showed her friend before dropping it back in.

She smiled sweetly, "Yes really, This is war!" She laughed!

"Just making sure," she said simply smiling at Bella.

Mel looked shocked. "W, w, war?" she asked nervously. "Bring it!" she smirked at her, the act gone and laughed with Bella.

"Me too!" She giggled, really liking her new friend.

"Oh Yes War." She glared at her friend, fighting back the smile that was trying to come through. She couldn't, suddenly she was laughing bending over with laugter.

So as time went by no one came by to see her hmm maybe she would have to get up and she why isn't anyone talking to her.What did she have something in her teeth so she got up and left the compartment to walk around.She then said out loud."Hello is anyone gonna say hi to me?
