He liked football, and his parents were doctors? Did she know that already? Maybe. "Well the Great Hall isn't that far away. I can help you or I could go find someone to help you?" Kay asked him as she sat down next to him. "So you have done this to yourself before?" She said smiling at the thought of getting hurt in Quidditch. But wait he had said football?

"So, Football. Did you play on a team?" She asked then thinking what football was he talking about. Football that she knew or American football whish she had only seen once. "Carter you do mean football. Right. Not Handegg like American football?" She wondered.

Thinking about his parents being Doctors, she bit her lower lip. She wanted to ask about them. "Your Parents are doctor's?" she asked thinking *duh he just said they were. Mentally hit herself in the head. *Stupid, Carter just said they were doctor and then you ask if they are. God what is wrong with you.*

"No. It's fine. Don't worry about." Carter said waving it off. He wasn't even hungry yet.

"Yeah. Playing football. And of course I don't mean that weird American game." He wouldn't be caught dead playing something like that.

"Yeah. I played on a team. I was pretty good actually. I almost signed away my life to play until I got my Hogwarts letter." he said.

"Yeah. They are. Oh, they are going to freak out when I tell them what happened." he said. But they would be interested in knowing and seeing how magic made him better.

"But it's kind of fun. My parents do a lot of volunteer work." he explained. "This summer they are trying to stop the spread of some nasty virus through small villages in Russia." he said. He was proud of all the good his parents did, but sometimes it got a little boring for him. It was a good thing that he had a plan on how to fill his time though.

Well if he didn't want to go yet she would wait with him. "Ok, so no food yet." Kay said wondering if he was waiting for Marie.

"Good about the football. I don't understnad the other one. I mean Rex...." No she wasn't going to talk about him. No No No. "Anyway. I don't get it."

"A team Yeah? Which team?" She asked think that it was great he had couldn't picked.

"Really? I so want to be a healer. Do you think they would talk to me?" She asked. "And they are going to Russia? Really to work on a Virus? Oh Which one?" She asked smiling for the first time in days. "Can you tell me?"

"Well, what I was in was a special program for future talent to play together." Carter explained. "The idea was that we'd all train together and then we'd get recruited to different teams. Then once the Olympics or the World Cup came around we'd all have played together before making a better team." he said. "But anyway, I was being considered for Manchester United."

He was a little surprised at how interested Kay had become in that. "I'm sure they'd love that. They do first aid classes and things all the time." he said. He then thought for a moment. His parents could probably use the help over the summer. "You know... sometimes my parents would ask for my help with things... not big things, but things like applying pressure to bleeding patients... re-wetting rags... getting people drinks... and stuff like that. I kind of have my own plans of what I want to do while in Russia..." he said. "But if you're really that interested you could come along. I'm not quite sure what exactly the situation is over there, but whatever it is I'm sure they could use the help." he said. "And you could use that time to learn about muggle healing and can ask my parents whatever you want."

Manchester United? "Oh, I like that team." Kay said think of football. "Do you think you will ever go back?" She asked.

"Go to Russia? I dont know. I would have to ask...umm...Yeah, That would be great. I would be able to see how they do thing." She said think about who would she ask? She didn't have anyone so...Why not go. "Do you think they would let me?" She asked

Carter shrugged. "I think I've been out of practice too long to go back. Not that I'd want to anyway. Don't get me wrong, I do miss it sometimes. But my life is here now."

"Oh, they wouldn't mind at all. In fact, they love extra hep. And since I have something else I want to check in to... Besides, they like meeting my friends. And I'm sure they'll have tons of questions for you too." he said.

"Do you have to ask your family or anything? I can have my parents write if they feel uncomfortable with it."

"You should get a bunch of people and play here. I know that a lot of the students love football." She said thinking of who she knew would play. "I bit you could have a play every weekend." Kay said smiling.

"Will, ummm...My Parents are gone. They have been dead for agoing on four years now. So there is no one to ask." She said looking at her feet. Wow four years. [I]*I can't believe I been alone for four years.* [/I]"But I guess you could have them asked my cousin. But You can't freak out when I tell you who it is OK." Kay said hoping that Carter would just take in the name and not act wierd. It was also the number one reason that Marie and Kay didn't get along any more. "Your parents would have to write to....Harry Potter." She said hope that Carter would just stay cool. How she wished Marie was here. hehehe

Carter nodded. "Yeah, I'll have to think about that." he said. That would be fun. He did miss playing a lot.

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. I had no idea." he said. He really shouldn't have brought that up. He lowered his voice after finding out who she was related to. "Really?" he asked. That was so cool. He was friends with someone who was related to someone famous. "You think he'd be okay with you coming?" he asked her. Was Harry Potter going to give him a background check? That would be cool too!

"So... umm... How are things going? I heard what happened after the match. I'm sorry about that. Did it have anything to do with me?" he asked. He hoped that wasn't the case. Kay cared about Rex. Even though Carter had no idea why she'd date someone like Rex he did care about her feelings... specially if they broke up because she was helping him.

Marie had left the library and was heading to the dungeons to drop off her bookbag before going to get some lunch, and hopefully find Carter when the staircase decided to move on her. Now here she was wandering the third floor corridor looking for another staircase that would get her to the dungeon.

Looking ahead she seen someone sitting near a statue. Not really paying attention to them she just kept walking hoping there would be another staircase somewhere close. As she got closer to the statue to recognized Kay sitting there with... Carter! WHY was Kay sitting with Carter? Of all the boys in the school Kay had to choose Carter to hang out with?

She walked over to where they were sitting. "Hey Carter, everything okay?" There had to be something wrong, why else would he be sitting here with that Huffie loser?

"Well Maybe if you play I can watch." Kay said hoping he would be ok. She didn't like the fact he was so winded. He didn't like well yet and she didn't want him back in the Hospital.

Giggling when Cater didn't use Harry's name. "Well, I don't see why he wouldn't. He know I want to be a healer. So I think he would say yes." She said hoping that he would. She was only 14 and never been anywhere by herself.

Oh, no he asked about Rex. She didn't want to talk about him. "Umm...Things are ok. You know Classes, homework, and evil boyfriends. " She said softly hoping that he didn't hear the last part. "Do you think you will be able to practice next week? Your match is coming up." Kay said know that she had side stepped the whole Rex thing.

Looking up to see Marie walking toward them. *oh crap* Kay thought as she got up from where they were sitting. "Hi. I'm glad you came by." She said hoping that Marie wouldn't be mad. "I saw Carter sitting here and he looked a little winded. I was going to help him to the Great Hall." She said watching Marie face to see what would happen next.

"Brilliant. I'll let my parents know. I'm sure they'll have lots of questions about healing for you." Carter said happily. "Actually, I know they'll have lots of questions, they had lots for me, I just wasn't able to answer any." he said.

"Oh, I sure hope so. Even if I'm sure I'll be practicing anyway. Brant would kill me if I missed another match." he said with a laugh.

"I'm sorry about that again." he said. "You know. I always thought you deserved much better than that." he said. "If you want to talk, I'm here for you."

"Hey Marie." Carter said with a smile. "Yeah, I was heading down to lunch..." when I had to stop... "Anyway, I was just thanking Kay for taking care of me down at the pitch." he said.

For some reason Fallon was wandering the castle. She didn't know how she'd ended up on the third floor. She really needed to start paying attention when she was wandering. Soon she was face to face with the Humbacked Witch Statue. She really didn't have anything better to do so she sat down across from it. Fallon pulled out the book she had been reading, which was strange for her nowadays. It was nice to be away from the nosy common room every once and a while.

Teegan was on her way back to the Hosptial Wing, and she was definatley not a happy witch by any means. She had went to the Healer a week ago after weeks of feeling bad to be given a potion that eventually made her feel better, but the next day she was back to square one. She waited a few days before she took the extra potion that the Healer sent her back to the Common Room with, but that too didn't solve the problem.

"I'm not supposed to get sick." She kept repeating as she walked through the castle heading to the Hospital Wing. "I should have stayed in Greece." She'd say next. Coming up upon the Humpbacked Witch statue Teeg saw a familiar face, "Hey Fallon." She greeted before needing to blow her nose. She rolled her eyes at herself, she didn't like this feeling of being sick.

Fallon looked up from her book as she heard someone saying her name. It was Teegan, the girl she had only met momentarily. And she seemed to be sick. "Hey Teegan. Feeling a little under the weather?" She didn't get up from where she was sitting. She wasn't too keen on getting sick. It wasn't fun. Fallon hoped the girl didn't see this as being rude. She was just worried about her health. That's all.

Teegan nodded her head, thankful that Fallon stayed on the floor where she was sitting, she didn't want to get anyone sick, let alone someone she barely had met. "I've had for a few weeks now." She told her. She let out a deep breath. "I've never been sick in my entire life." She shared with her, which would explain why Teegan could be found stomping around the castle at times.

Fallon felt bad for Teegan. Being sick was horrible. The fact that Teegan had never been sick before kind of shocked Fallon. It had to be hard to keep something like that up. "That stinks that you had to ruin that now. It probably makes it much worse to be sick." She wasn't speaking from experience of course.

Marie stood there looking between Carter and Kay. Something did not seem right here, she could just feel it, something was wrong. Then Kay opened her mouth to talk. Oh well how sweet, Kay to the rescue again. What is she doing, following him around like a little puppy? Why isn't she off chasing after her dog Rex.

Glaring at Kay with a You can leave NOW look she turned her attention to Carter. She wasn't even going to talk to Kay, she had nothing to say to her. She had already thanked her at the stands, she wasn't about to do it again.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She had a feeling he wasn't being truthful with her just from hearing what Kay said. Unless he was winded from running from Kay. No that couldn't be, he would have been able to out run the puffylump if he would have been trying. Which only confirmed for her that something was wrong.

Seen the look Marie gave her Kay thought maybe she should just go. She was worried that Carter should maybe see the healer again, she kept it to herself. "So...I umm will Let you guys get to lunch." She said standing up. She didn't want Carter fighting with Marie and having a Row right here in the hall wouldn't be good for him. "Carter thanks for the talk and don't worry about me and that person. I dont think I will be talking to him for a bit." She said not looking at Marie. She really didn't want Marie to know how right she had been about Rex. She didn't want her to tell she told you so. Walking a few steps away she smiled. "Oh, let me know what your parents say. Be careful go to lunch." She said looking at Marie. "Your luck to have him." She turned and start down the steps. Feeling the tears in her eyes. She had to get away from here. Happy people made her mad now a days.

Teegan nodded her head not sure what else to say to Fallon at the moment. But she thought that getting off the sicky subject would be best. "So, I've figured out what I'm doing after graduation." She told Fallon switching subjects, thinking back to the time they had met...the first and the last time they had saw each other, and how Fallon had tried to help her figure out what to do after Hogwarts.

Fallon could tell Teegan didn't want to talk about this anymore. She really didn't either. Being sick really wasn't a fun or interesting topic. Then Teegan brought up the conversation that they'd had the last time. She closed her book and set it down next to her. "Really? So what did you decide on?" Careers were starting to interest Fallon. She didn't want to make a last minute decision on what she was going to do.

"Well," Teegan started as she slid down the wall opposite of Fallon "My friend Ashwin from Greece graduated last year and he's in the States working at a wizarding university. He's trying to get me in classes or at least a job there." She paused as she dug out a throat lozenge and unwrapped it. "So, I"m going to the States; that's for sure." she finished popping the lozenge into her mouth.

Fallon listened as Teegan explained. "That sounds fun! What part of the States?" She was really curious seeing as she was born there. "I myself was born in Illinois. Then last term my mom and I moved with my grandparents to Florida." She really had traveled a lot.

"I'm not sure." Teegan told her, realizing that Ashwin hadn't told her that much yet, it was a rather sketchy plan when it first started out. "I think though it's somewhere in New York." She thought out loud. That was the place where it was really busy and had all those really tall buildings, right? She shrugged her shoulders. "If I can't get on with the university I'll just go do some more dancing with a troupe or something until I find to do later on." she said nodding her head.

Fallon frowned. She really wanted to know where the school was. She might just go to a University after Hogwarts. Then Teegan mentioned New York. I've always wanted to go there... "New York? That's cool. I've never been there myself, but I've always wanted to go." She nodded as Teegan explained her alternative plan. "That sounds like fun. Better than sitting around not knowing what to do." Fallon never really was into dancing.

Teegan nodded, "I haven't been to the States before." She admitted, Greece, London, Spain and Denmark were about the extent of her travels. "Yup. Better than nothing." She agreed. "I just hope that they allow animals wherever I end up living, I can't get rid of Crash! or Warren, the others I could let go." She nodded, she wouldn't take all of her pets anyway, that would be way too many to take care of by herself. She'd let her niece and nephew have the others...give Kat a little more to work with.
