Lori was so totally in DENIAL.

Torin wasn't leaving, he COULDN'T leave. This wasn't happening, it was all a nightmare, and she'd wake up soon hugging Glitter!Unicorn and Mr!Glitter, surrounded by all the girls in her dorm, wondering why she was crying. Darn Torjojojo.

But it was happening. It was happening right now. Riiight now. And this should NOT have been happening, Torin WAS Hogwarts. He'd been there from the start for Lori, from the beginning, and it should have been to the end.

"B... Buttercup." Right? Gosh, even she couldn't remember, this was sucky. So, so sucky. She had resided to just hiccuppy sniffles now, and random sobs of noise.

... Summer and christmas wasn't enough. "Can I write? To you? In New York? Or.. are you not allowed maaaaaaaaaail!" SOB. The thought of not writing to him, made her SAD. And cry again. Unclasping her hands from behind his back, Lori slid her arms loose and took both his hands. "I do love you, Torin. You're like my best friend.." Possibly even more than Brody; whoopsies.

She laughed at his comment about Brody and shrugged. "I did it before, and that was on your lips, silly billy." Okay, hand-holding sucked. Back to nuzzling him tight.

Fallon smiled and was glad that Torin didn't try and argue with her. She smiled even wider when he said she looked good too. "Why thank you." No one had ever really complimented her on her looks before. It was kind of a nice thing.

"Yep. It's all right. You can still make it up to me." She grinned and looked back in front of her. Torin would never ever get rid of her. "Oh chocolate." Of course. Why wouldn't she want chocolate?

She had been thinking about Torin leaving again. She then remembered some of the ideas she'd had before. Fallon still didn't have any rope though. And how was she going to convince Torin to let her tie him to a tree. "Hey Torrrin. I have an idea so you can stay here." Hehe.

Annie couldn't help but grin at Torin and his weird jokes. She knew he wouldn't dare to take Paloma, she hoped. And well, of course things were going to be weird once Torin left and there was no way someone else would make her wear pink in her life like him. Or maybe just Drew...but Annie knew he also wouldn't dare.

And then she realized again, that she wasn't with Drew anymore. She let out a long sigh then turned her frowny face off Torin's view. "Tor..." She couldn't even say his whole name. Her tears began to fall a bit. "I have to go to my table...then immediately go finish packing...so, I guess I won't see you...anymore til the summer." Gulp. She was this close to cry, and hard.

With a rush, she wrapped Torin in a hug. "I'm going to miss you, Kane..." She said, with a wide smile, then left without any notice.

Tipyy-toes.

Gold walked up to the Hufflepuff Table, quite on tippy-toes, and cupped her hands around her mouth. She didn't feel good, not one bit, or perhaps she did. She had thought this end-of-term bitter through and through, and definitely not bittersweet, only a few moments ago. But now she was determined to be happy. Collect and save the memories.

There was no other good way out.

"Mr. Teeeeeeeeeeeeeee," she called out. "Buubbbbles and Buttttterrrrrrcuppppppp. Where aaaare y'aaalll?" Her green eyes were twinkling, almost cheerful.

"But it will still be home," he protested with her. He knew that she would stay anyway no matter what she told him, but he still wanted her to enjoy going to school. "You can cling to me whenever we visit, okay?" And he was promising her to make her happy. And he liked her hugging him.

She was tightening her grip on him, and it was good that it wasn't hurting him. Otherwise he would be rather annoyed, and he didn't want to be annoyed with Violet. "Yes, sugar is fun. And I can help you find a big suitcase if you want." He wasn't going to tell her that he could easily expand a suitcase for her.

"You shouldn't be eating dirty food though. People have walked all over that floor with their dirty shoes." He didn't want to gross her out, but it was true. And he didn't want her to get sick or something from nasty germs. He reached out and took a chocolate from one of the dishes on the table before reaching down and handing it to her.

At this point he started rubbing her back soothingly, hoping that it would get her to calm down a little. But he understood. He knew how hard it was for her to have people leave her.

"You can write to me as much as you want. And I'll write back. You'll be the first person I write to. I promise." Because he loved her and she was his best friend now. He smiled as she took his hands in hers. "I know. I love you too, best friend. And soon you'll be able to see me and Brody as much as you want to." Because he knew how much she loved Brody.

He laughed with her before she hugged him again. "I remember. I liked that." It had been a nice surprise even if it hadn't meant anything.

He was surprised that she seemed surprised about the compliment. That was weird. "People don't really tell you that?" It was surprising, because she was so pretty and nice and she should be told as such. It was only right to do that to people that looked good.

"Okay, I'm gonna make you a nice chocolate cake with purple icing." Because he knew that she loved purple. Maybe she could share it with Lucy, because Lucy loved purple too. Speaking of Lucy though... he didn't know where she was, and he wasn't sure that he was very happy about that. He wanted to see his Lucy. Sigh.

But her next comment brought him out of his private thoughts. "You do? What is it?" He was worried that Violet might hear and get another wild idea. What an adorable girl. He adored Violet.

He was amazed when she suddenly became on the verge of tears. And he was sure that it wasn't the pink comment that did it. It was something else.

But he understood that she needed out. Nodding, he smiled at her. "I'll miss you too, Annie." He hugged her and then watched her leave. He was really going to miss her so much.


And then he saw her. The one person that he had been hoping would come. Well, one of the people that he was hoping would come at least.

"Miss. G! Come over here." He hoped that she would be able to figure out where he was. "I'm in the middle of this mass of people." And it was sure getting crazy over here.

Right. Gold could see Mr. T now, though it was a wonder how. "Hi," she said, tippy-toooeing over her. Her tones were quiet. She had known Mr. T wouldn't be alone, but she had sort of wanted time with her besties. Brody and Lor, that is. That didn't look possible, right now.

Gold sat down, a little way away, and gave Torin a smile.

"How're things?"

He grinned as he saw her. He was happy that she had come over because it saved him from having to go and find her later. And he was lazy, so he knew that it would never have happened really. It was sorta sad.

"Things are good. Chaotic. Sad too. I don't want to leave here." And thinking that this would be his last feast at this place made him even sadder if it was possible.

"How are you?"

Gold smiled. "I can understand that," she said. "Hogwarts becomes a second home, for most of us. The first, for a few," she added, lightly. It was a fact. "Seven years is a long time."

Heck, she had only spent two here, and look at her. But Gold almost wanted to leave, what with all the departures.

"I'm a dreadful liar, so I won't say fine," she grinned. "I could do with some butterbeer." She paused. "Do you know what you're going to do with Biscuit, yet?" She wanted to take Ignacia home, of course.

Of course.

He nodded sadly. "It's like a first home for me now, and I've only been here for four years." Four of the best years ever.

He became sad as he suddenly thought of something. "I'm going to miss you so much, Gold." He didn't want to be without Gold, she was amazing and he loved her so much. It broke his heart thinking about leaving her and Lori.

"I want to keep her, but I can't have her in New York. I wish someone could look after her while I was away there." But he couldn't think of anyone who would.

"I was talking about the average student," Gold pointed out, cheerfully. The food had appeared. Maybe she should eat.

She looked up, unsure why was surprised by what he had just said when she had expected as much. "Of course you will," she said, after a moment. "I'm awesome, aren't I?" There was a pause, and then Gold reached out to give Torin a brief, but warm, hug. "I'll miss you too, Mr. T. Who else is going to give me Nemo plush toys, for Christmas?" She half smiled, as she said that.

"I'll ask Professor Lawson," Gold said. "If she says yes, I'll take care of her." That should be nice.

He laughed. "I know. But it's still my first home." He nodded at her. Oddly enough she was making him feel sorta better. Maybe because she wasn't going on about how much she would miss him. It made him sad to see how people would miss him. He wanted everyone to be happy.

He hugged her back. He was glad to have a Gold hug. "I love you, Gold." Which she already knew, but he wanted to tell her again because he felt like it. "I'll be sending you plush toys in the mail. And writing letters." He was going to be writing a lot of letters in the near future.

"Thank you." It made him feel better knowing that she was willing to help

Gold nodded. She didn't think Hogwarts her first home - that was France, and nothing could change that, nothing could make her love that place with less of a passion - but she could relate. She knew she was going to miss Hogwarts, even in the summer.

"I know," she grinned. "Silly Mr. T." She patted his shoulder. "Stay cheerful, alright? Everything will be fine." Letters = awesome. "It looks like I'm going to write a lot of letters, from now," she said, with a smile. "To you, to Raven, to Marie, Brody, the Lawsons." Of course, to Professor Kazimeriz, too. She couldn't forget him, not in a million years.

"Don't mention it."

"And you know that you love me too." Because if she didn't love him he would be sad, and he didn't want to be even sadder now than he had been before. But he knew that she loved him, so it was okay really. "I need to write more letters. I need to write letters to a lot of the school population. I dunno how I'll manage." He shuddered. It was best not to think about it really.

Nunually watched as new faces arrived and wondered if any faces she knew were back. This had been the second time she had seen all the students of Hogwarts in the same room. It felt strange to her and decided to look down. She stared at her pumpkin pie tempted to eat it. It had been almost 5 years since she had found out she was allergic to pumpkin. As she closed her eyes she still could remember the semi sweet, creamy taste before her mouth became itchy and she was beginning to have difficulty swallowing and breathing. Before long her abdomina began to hurt and she was sent into the emergency room. She opened her eyes and allowed her hair to cover her face. Oh the temptation. I wonder.... she shook her head as thoughts of eating it then going to the nurse in a hurry appeared in her head. Scenerarious began to play in her head. Before making it to the hospital wing she would pass out and have trouble breathing the other students staring at her and some wondering what they should do. She smiled, oh how she wanted to taste the semi sweet creamy pumpkin pie. "Oh well there are other sweet, I can have some cream puffs instead." she told herself. The end of the year was approaching.

Gold laughed. "I think I might," she said, tones teasing. She wasn't sure if she felt much better, but at least she was able to have a good laugh, here. She glanced at Brody, and then back at her plate.

Empty, so far.

"It's going to be a letter a week, from me," she told Mr. T, matter-of-factly. "I have NEWT's coming up, and if they decide to let me keep this -" She glanced down at her Prefect badge - "Next year, too, that means I'll have quite a heap to tackle. I've actually assigned letter days. Brody gets one, every Saturday, Raven gets one every Sunday... see? The planning should make things easier, for me."

Plus, it would ensure that she did keep in touch with everyone - well, the five or seven people she intended to keep in touch with. It would be a pity, if she couldn't.

He gasped, pretending to ignore her joking tones. "You think you might love me? That's all I mean to you?" He sniffled, looking at her sadly. He was being an actor here now, and he was hoping that she would get that he wasn't being serious. He liked having fun with Gold, that was all.

"I'm sure you'll do great on your NEWTs and keep your Badge." Since she was one of the hardest working people in the school really. And he would be amazed if she wasn't Prefect again. "That's a good idea. What day am I?" Because he wanted to know.

Gold laughed. "Silly Mr. T," she said. This reminded her of that one time, in the Captains' Lounge. She and Mr. T had sat down, and discussed how to get him a girlfriend, because Brody didn't love him, anymore. Of course, she did, but they had been joking around.

Like always.

"I think I'll do good on my NEWT's, too," she said, with a nod. Prefectship, she wasn't as sure about. Lots of other, awesome people out there. One could never tell. But she was going to take each moment as it came, and that was that. "You can be Monday," she laughed. "That way, I'll be starting my weeks by writing to you." Hehehe.

Cam had expected - YAY Cammy but not Oliver... *pout* She wasn't mega tall, she didn't have curly hair and frankly she didn't like haggis. Torin was a bad guesser.

"You're not very good at this game .." She mumbled taking her hands off his eyes. There wasn't really any way to get closer considering he had about fifty girls around him... :/

Amy took a seat quietly at the end of the table, she looked around, taking in all the scenery around her, the places she wouldn't visit for another term, she stared dejectedly at the end of term food and wondered where Sammy was and if she was better yet

Sammy hurried quickly to the Hufflepuff table and slid in next to Amy. She had her right hand wrapped up and a small bandage near her left temple, she refused to let the nurse use magic on her injures "did I miss anything?" she asked with a small smile, she was still a teeny bit dizzy but not to bad

Oliver was getting bored of the crying girlies over at the Snake table so he decided to take a wander around the hall and instinctively ended up at the table which was crowded with kids decked out in sunny yellow. He wanted to speak to Torin Kane – the prefect, and Oliver's recent partner in crime, who was graduating this very day. He looked around expectantly..

Rodents here, rodents there, rodents everywhere...

Mwhaha!

But no Torin Kane..

Just a crowd of girls at the other side of the table. Crying girls. Jeez – there was less drama over at the Slytherin table. But he was here now... so he took a seat and happily helped himself to some chicken pie and gravy. Nommy.

Smirking, he was happy that Gold had managed to get that he was only playing with her. It wouldn't have been nice if she hadn't. And a lot of people wouldn't have understood him. It showed how awesome Gold was.

"You have to tell me how to do on them when you get your results." He nodded and didn't care that it would be a year from now that she would even be doing them. He wanted to know how well she would do, 'cause he knew it would be amazing. "I like you starting the week with me. That's how every week should start really."

And not everyone was as good at figuring him out as Gold was. Rolling his eyes, he sighed. "I was joking, Cammy, I know it's you. Don't be silly." He turned to look at her with a smile. "Why not sit down and join us?" Though there wasn't much room.

And then look who showed up. He wasn't sure why Oliver was even venturing over here when the table was full of Rodents.

"Hey, Pinky!" he called out to across the table.

Ehh, soooo many people and it didn't help that Melissa was small and a firstie (well a second year soon but meh.) The Huffie table suddenly just got packed because of one; Torin Kane. Yes, people were gathered around him like he was the entertainment in the great hall. Although some cried and whatnot. Anywayyyy, she needed some growth potion so she could seee, she hated being so small and Tor Toro needed some shrinking potion. Plus then he could be a second year and they both can graduate together instead he graduating in her first year!

She obviously knew that wasn't going to happen. Sad face.

So now Lori was here, hehe and she tried to shoo all the non-badgers away. But they stayed oh well. It was going to be packed anyway. Plus it looked like she wanted some Torin attention. Hehehe.

Now Torin was talking to her. She raised an eyebrow at him, how was he going to see her when she was here and he was going to be in NY? "And how are you going to do that?" Yeah, she was confused.

Great. MORE people, giant people mind you. She was thinking that she should leave, people were all here for Torin and she did only come just to said goodbye to him and whatnot. Sigh. This feast wasn't that all enjoyable. She wondered if it would be the same to her when she left. Nahh, she wasn't going to be popular that's for sure.

But wait...was that Oliver by any chance? Sitting here, looking around? Didn't he have a table; you know the Slytherin table or was he for Torin too? Yep, he probably was. Andd he was eating. Chicken pie and gravy. No haggis. That was a great thing you know, a very good thing because she had no need to cover up her nose and faint. She walked up to him, she was going to go but she'd stay for a while anyway now since he was here. Plus they could finally talk. "Oliver?" she said, well questioned really. She also had the idea that he was going to be surrounded, well at all times really. By girls. But he wasn't now strangely enough or wasn't he always surrounded by girls?

Oliver was tucking into his chicken pie not really aware of anything going on around him. Nommy – he was going to miss the house elves cooking over the summer holidays. He glanced at the massive group of girls on the other side of the table and was sure he saw the shock of red hair that belonged to his girlfriend... But then his attention was averted from the group when he heard his name. His name being said like it was a question...

He swallowed his pie and turned his head to see a tiiiiiny Rodent girl whom he immediately recognised from the Quiddtich pitch. That poor unfortunate girl Trixie had punched in the mouth. Ouch. “Hey.” He said and smiled at the wee girl. Wait? Why was she talking to him? Urm... “Can I help you with something, midget?” He enquired. Perhaps she was hungry. “Pie?” He waved a forkful of pie under her nose. Hehe!

Pinky? Pinky?

Why did that sound familiar? The Slytherin looked for the source, his eyes coming to rest on Torin Kane. He half smirked, half smiled. “Well if it isn't the man of the moment.” And that group of girls was surrounding him? Popular sod. “I've been looking for you, man.” He shouted over the table and above the noisy annoying girls. Heh.

He shrugged when Lissy asked him that. She was going to be a killjoy if she didn't stop being like this soon, and he didn't like killjoys very much. But he liked her, so he would deal with it. "Magical transportation? My jet?" He didn't know. But he was sure that he would see her again.

Half-smirk right back at Oliver. "It seems that way to me too. I don't get it." Really it wasn't like he was dropping off of the face of the Earth forever or anything. "But anyway, I was wanting to see you too." So he could say bye.
