Simon looked at Amy. "Nice to meet you Amy." When she started to shake his hand she looked at her and smiled. "My full name is Simon Leonarder De Simpson." He didn't add the Prince bit in. "But you can call me Simon." He was glad he had made a friend. "I'm from Hollian, that a small island off the coast of Spain."

Amy smiled, hi Simon, posh name much, makes old Samson sound stupid, she smirked at him, I know where Hollian is silly NO YOU DON'T AMY, DON'T LIE, the voice screamed at her, she ignored it, so Simon withamajorlongposhname, she smirked, how's life? random, but that sumed up Amy in one word, random.

Cadence sat in the chair, bouncing happily as her best friend shared in the fun with her. "Mhmm! And next summer, you should come stay with me!" she said, happily. Because, let's face it, what was the point of being pretty much spoiled if you couldn't share it with your friends? And then Melanie started guessing, and Cadence just started at her for a moment before laughing loudly. "No, that's not it. Though that would be pretty awesome!" she said through her laughter. And then Lanie asked what, and Cadence paused for dramatic effect, building up the suspense as she sat there smiling. "I have a new boyfriend!" she finally divulged. "His name is Jude, and he's a fifth year Ravenclaw. I met him in Diagon Alley. I like him a lot better than Nate. He, like, understands me. And we can talk for hours and hours and hours. He's nice, but he's not tooooo nice, you know, to the point that he's a sissy boy or anything. He's smart, and good at magic. And he's really cute!" she added this last part in with a little giggle and waited for her friend's response.

Simon smiled at Amy. "Not maybe people know where Hollian is, it's only a small place and not many people go there." Simon sighed. "Will I think your name sound great." He added. "Oh life is okay I guess." He smiled as he looked around the room again. "What about you?"

Teegan walked into the Hufflepuff common room not sure what to expect anymore. Everything was so much more than what she had anticipated everything being. She felt like she should be a first year instead of a seventh year with the way she was in shock and amazement about how large and evasive Hogwarts was. She bit her lip as she looked around to see if she knew anyone that was currently sitting in the common room. She crossed her arms over her chest as she walked slowly across the room ready to go find Crash! in the seventh year girls' dorm room seeing as she didn't see anyone off the dot she knew.

Well, Amy said, in the way that a story teller says when they are about to start talking. Life's good, good friends, good dorm, good pet, good everything, she smiled, life is really good, she thought, only just realising how good it was. So whats Hollian like? she asked him, wondering what could be on this tiny seclusive island

Simon smiled as he saw an older girl walk into the Common Room, she seemed to be a bit loanly on her own so Simon shouted to her. "What to come and join us?" He hadn't met the girl before but he wanted to see if she would join them, the more the merrier he thought to himself.

Simon looked at Amy. "Oh life is great on Hollian, there this huge palace I spend a lot of time in and there's this big garden where I spend most of my time, it's huge, there are around 500,000 people living in Hollian spread across a few cities and town and there are around 20 villages, oh and there are loads of wildlife and trees." He loved playing hide and seek at Hollian.

Teegan stopped walking and turned to look around the common room to see who was yelling. He looked a pair of people and narrowed her eyes, she brought a finger to point at them and then to herself. "Me?" she asked mouthing the words, she didn't want to yell across the room like they had just done. She thought about it, wether or not to joint the pair. They looked awfully young, probably first years. She let out a deep breath, she really wanted to meet people her own age. The eldest she had met with the exception of Raven who was in Slytherin, was all in fourth year and below.

Amy smiled whistfully, It sounds gorgeous, she thought of blackheath and greenwich, her haven at home, where she could just be. It sounds just like my grandmas town, but better, she smiled at him, gently. So why did you leave, are you a muggleborn or pureblood, or half and half? she asked, wondering why anyone would leave that perfect piece of earth

Josey saw another girl she didn't know. She looked older than herself, but not much older. Maybe a second of third year. "Hi," Josey said. "My name's Josey, I'm a first year. And you are?"

"I would... but I have to help out at my dad's store. And I don't get to see my family for a the entire term. I wouldn't want to be away for the whole summer." No. No, she wouldn't. "But it would be awesome if I could just come over for a week or so!" she beamed. Melanie was in the general area, anyway, with her aunt, during the very last week before school began. It would be fun to spend some time with Cadence then!

Melanie gaped at her at the news. Literally. Her eyes grew wide and her jaw just...dropped. "But...Nate. You like Nate. You were gonna keep contact with him and stuff." she said, the confusion clear in her voice. Melanie took a deep breath, her mind racing. "I-I mean...Cadence he sounds nice and everything, and I suppose it's good you're moving on, but-" But, what? What more did she have to say? She wanted to ask her her how she'd moved on so fast, and how she though Nate would feel if he could hear the way she was speaking at the moment. Melanie wasn't sure how she could say anything else on her mind without bursting Cadence's bubble, though- she was afraid it would be very easily popped. And, really, Melanie reasoned, how was she to understand such matters, when she had never even really been with a boy? How could she understand, anyway?

"Congratulations." Melanie finished with a feeble smile. "I'll have to meet him sometime, I suppose." she said resignedly. Whatever.

"Just a little, haven't slept since I got to Diagon Alley." She shrugged it off, the feast always seemed to take a lot out of her anyway, even if she hadn't had a busy summer. "Your muggle born? I'm half-blood, magic through my dad's side. It's cool that your lookin forward to all the classes, I have a few favorites but I love CoMC the best. The professor is awesome." Her favoritest professor ever, yup.

Arya looked to the other first year with a smile. "I'm Arya, and this is Perseus. I'm a second year." Her kneazle had dozed off by now, his tail twitching every so often. "Excited to be here?" Really, who wouldn't be?

Annabelle walked in to find her sister. What a relief. Someone she knew. She walked over to her sister. "Hello Josey." Annabelle said, with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Arya," Josey said. "Second year? What's Hogwarts like? Is it fun? do you like it? I do, so far at least. I'm very excited to be here." And she was. Fairy excited!


"Annabelle!" Josey exclaimed. She hugged her sister. "Im so excited that were in the same house! Aren't you?" Josey turned to Arya. "This is my twin sister, Annabelle."

Arya grined at the girl's enthusiasm, it had only been a year ago when she was excited about her first year at Hogwarts. Of course she was still excited about being here, if not more than last term. Dispite what had happened at the end of the term, the school was becoming a second home to her.

Looking at the other girl she gave a welcoming smile. "Hey Annabelle, my younger brother and sister are twins. They won't be here for a while though." He looked back to Joesy and paused before answering. "Hogwarts is awesome. There's so much to do here with your friends, like swiming in the lake or visiting the professors, who are great. Any classes you two are looking forward to?"

"Swimming? I want to go swimming?" Annabelle made a mental note to tell Brody abou the lake so they could go swimming sometime. "Who, in your opinion, is the nicest professor? Who is your favorite?" Maybe she would vitit a professor sometime, maybe not. "We're looking forward to Mugglue studies. It should be easy, cinsidering we grew up as muggles. Maybe Divination, or Ancient Runes. What is your favorite class?"

"Really?" Melissa spoke worriedly to Arya. "Yeah, I am. Oh, Half-blood that's cool, so did you know about magic before you got your letter or did your dad keep it from you?" she asked, wanting to know more about her. "CoMC, who is the Professor?" She didn't met the Professor at the feast, in fact she hasn't seen the CoMC Professor yet. "So do you like Quidditch?"

Amy shot into the common room and jogged up the stairs to her dorm

"Yup, swimming in the lake is fun." She thought about all the times she and her friends had got up before breakfast to go for a swim. The next slew of questions were easy to answer, but she did have to recollect what professors she knew would be here and not talk about the ones she wasn't sure would be returning. "There ALL nice, so long as you behave in class and participate. I have a few favorites..." She would start with her favortest. "There are the Lawson's, the female one teaches CoMC and the male one teached Muggle Studies. Professor Truebridge who teaches DADA, and Vindictus who teaches flying. All of them are great teachers who have fun classes. My favorite is Lady Lawson and her class is my favorite." She paused. "Mr. Masterson, who is our Head of House and Groundskeeper is pretty cool as well. So is the Headmaster." That was everyone right? Right.
"I grew up with magic, though I lived in a muggle neighborhood on a ranch that my mom got from her dad. So we didn't use to much magic, my dad and brother did magic but not when we had company over. My best friends were muggles until I came here." She was curious as to her tone of voice but chose not to comment on it. "How did your family take to you being a witch?" She was curious as about if they accepted it right away or not. "Professor Lady Lawson teaches CoMC, and her husband teaches Muggle Studies. Both there classes are fun. I'm....not a fan of Quidditch." Or any sport where they had balls charmed to knock you off your broom.

Amy ran through the portrait tears falling from her eye as sh ran wildly up the stair and into her dormitory she fell inside pulled the drapes and cried

"Really so you just had to leave them didn't you," Melissa said, she did too but she couldn't wait to get here. "Erm, my family. They er, didn't take it too well, I don't have a good relationship with my parents. My mum was kinda mad and my dad didn't do anything, he was slightly shocked really," she told Arya, remembering the horrid times she had before coming to Diagon Alley. "Really, ah that's pretty cool. Your not, oh that's okay I mean everyone can't like the sport," she shrugged but smiled her.

Lillith walked in after the feast, feeling full and sleepy already. She looked around the common room, taking everything in. Students bustling for their dormitories, to others lounging around the room. Lillith looked for familiar faces, taking a seat nearest to her.

"Lady Lawson is your favorite? And so is her class...what class does she teach?" Josey thought for a moment. "I'll have to go visit them sometime." Though she didn't want to be a teachers pet or anything. Joset stiffled a yawn. "I'm going to go to bed now, I'll see you later." Se gave a little wave and headed up the stairs to the girls Dormitory.

"Yea, they think I'm at a boarding school in London." That was more or less true. "But it's fine cause I've made a lot more friends being here. Wouldn't trade them for anything." She smiled softly thinking about her awesome friends, she would have to find them tomorrow. Her smiled faded as Melissa spoke of her family's reaction, she knew not everyone would take well to magic but it was still sad to hear about. Change of topic? "So what do you like to do for fun?"

"Yes she is, I like her husband too. She teached CoMC." Arya watched as Josey went to bed, waving her goodbye.

It’s a rather spacious room adorned with black and yellow banners on the walls. A fireplace crackles along merrily and it is surrounded by many plushy, super comfortable chairs. Over along the other side of the room are some large tables to do homework at with your friends.

With her knees tucked in at her side and skirt smoothed down, Kaitlynnh sat on the floor near the fireplace, stroking a fairly large lump of fur laying in front of her. The rabbit hide her face against the Hufflepuff's legs, soaking in the warmth of the cracking fire as she slept on while her owner stared into the ember depths of burning wood.

She should be writing to Hunter, but that wasn't going to happen. Instead, the young girl turned her gaze down to the paper held aloft in her other hand; a stick-figure drawing in crayons.
