|  Herbology Lesson I connoisseur of comfort ❅ Crayola's Wibby Mrs Alex Turner ❅ Netflix and meow
Professor Sage Dodson was waiting anxiously in the classroom he'd just unlocked. He gave the room a once over, just to check everything was in order. Everything looked ready.
The room contained the usual lab-type desks, behind each of these a high stool for the students to occupy. Around the edges of the room on smaller desks however, are a variety of different things. Some carried bulbs, others a scattering of leaves and some fruit or flowers.
"Please don't touch anything as you come in," the Professor called, wringing his hands together nervously as he waited for students to enter.
His first ever class. He was scared.

Selena walked into the classroom. She was a bit nervous. She loved flowers. They were beautiful. but magical flowers? Was she waiting to be eaten? Selena took a deep breath. The teacher looked just as nervous. "Hello professor Dodson," Selena smiled sweetly. A bit to sweet maybe... She took a seat near the front of the room. Wow. The place was beautiful.

Good day, Professor Dodson she greeted the scared looking professor. Are you ok, Professor? You look really nervous. she asked.

Jimbo walked into the classroom eating one of the cupcakes that Monty and him had made. He held another cupcake in the hand that wasn't carrying his things. He grinned at the Professor, "Hullo." And then, something that was completely out of character for him.
"Would you like a cupcake?" he asked, holding it out for him.
Obviously he was in a really good mood today. He would have never normally offered someone a cupcake. EVER.

Vashti walked into the greenhouse, eyeing all the plants that were situated around the room. They looked harmless enough, but she knew appearances could be deceiving, especially when they were her crazy Aunt Grace's plants. But Aunt Grace, being a Muggle, couldn't possibly have gotten near any of these plants, so perhaps they were indeed safe.
Giving the professor a warm smile - the poor guy looked so nervous! - Vashti said, "Hello, professor. You alright there?"

Cautiously walking into the class, juuuust to make sure the crazy red headed professor wasn't playing a joke on the whole school and popped out of nowhere with a devil's snare in hand... Evelyn noticed that there was in fact, no Bunz in the room.
There was however, someone she didn't know. Again. "Good day, Professor." she mumbled with a smile as she passed by and sat...in the front. Yush. In the front! Well, whatever was considered the front.

Ella passed happily through to the Herbology Greenhouses feeling quite positive on the whole. She managed to not touch anything in this room, she had no idea what any of it could do to someone. "Good day Professor." She said in a odd excitable tone. It's not like she found Herbology particulary interesting...
As she sat down, she gave the Professor one more smile. He looked kind of nervous. Awh!

Trixie stumbled into Herbology after leaving the hospital wing after her poor ankle was healed. And her shoes?!? Now that was a relief. She spotted her cousin and so sat down next to her. They were on slight speaking terms after the little wishing fountain epidermic. But there was two people, Patrick and Aiden, she needed to talk to properly without anything bad occurring! "Good morning professor. I'm Trixie" she said still tasting the horrible remedy from the nurse in her mouth. and wincing a little under the pain. "How are you?" she asked trying to be cheery.

William entered the Herbology classroom possibly more bouncy than ever. well that's what you got when you spent an hour devouring candy in the dorm before class. He found that if he was hyper he did better in class, though his answers were winded. A bit. Grinning at the professor man he didn't know he waved cheerfully, "Hello professor-man how are you?" he asked bouncing over to a seat near the front and sitting down making sure not to touch anything.
It always smelled nice in here he thought breathing in deeply and sneezing. Well almost.

The way his stomach was churning, Sage had a feeling any cupcakes he ate would end up reappearing. And that would NOT be good. Not in a classroom full of teenagers. No.

And then lots of 'how are you?'s came his way. At least they were a polite bunch. "Good, good!" Sage smiled,before giving his reddish beard a scratch. He did that a lot when he was nervous. "Looking forward to the lesson!" He'd taken a while planning it.. trying to make interesting yet educational.
"We'll start in a while, just waiting for any latecomers," and while he waited, his hands fidgeted absent-mindedly with a plant that resembled a carrot.

It wasn't her fault that on the way to class she had not noticed one of her shoes had fallen off. Seriously, no one in this school had an extra pair of shoelaces!? Pffft.
Walking into the classroom, her eyes wandered around, noticing it looked different. Something was amiss but she just couldn't put her finger on it.. "Hello new Professor guy!" she greeted as he fiddled with a..carrot plant.
Now to sit next to Evelyn.

Just as expected, a few more kids traipsed in and got themselves a seat. Sage had secretly been hoping MORE would come in, resulting in him delaying some more. But nope, that seemed to be about it.
Time to get this show on the road then, he thought quite tensely.. hoping he'd loosen up as the lesson progressed.
Clearing his throat, Professor Nervous addressed the class. Introductions first, maybe? "My name's Professor Dodson and I'll be teaching you Herbology this year," he started, looking at all the faces. He tried not to make eye contact for too long, it just made him more nervous. Ack. "I've got a lot of names to learn, so if you could all tell me yours before you answer any questions, it'd be much apprectiated."
Another look around the room. Right.
"As I'm sure you're aware, there's currently a career's fair taking place in the Great Hall. Now, that got me thinking.. who can tell me what sort of career's the subject of Herbology is important for? And also why?"
Yes, he decided that was a good start.
