Marilyn smirked when Rafe stared snarling. Was she weird for thinking that was the hottest thing in the entire world? Merlin, she hoped not. "Hmm...something like that." Her smirk remained in place as she picked up a few pieces of fruit to eat. He really didn't know how utterly attractive he was to her.

She watched him push his plate away and then snatch up her last pineapple piece. Her hand reached out and popped his lightly. "Will you stop eating for five minutes?"

The blonde laughed when he began talking about their proverbial children. "So, they'll get their looks from me...but all your skills and talents?" She hoped so, anyway. There wasn't one thing Marilyn had seen Rafe do that wasn't amazing. He was such a gifted, shining example that not all boys were a lost cause. The thought made her giggle. "I love you, mister...Speaking of firsties...i ran into my cousin that lives in France yesterday...I cannot believe her parents shipped her so far away..."

Then she froze...Had Rafe really just said what she thought he'd said.

"Excuse me? What did you just say to me?" Her eyes were already narrowing. There was no way she'd hang around those two...ugh...people.

Rafe laughed as she slapped his hand. "I'm hungry. It's like dessert, but without all the bad sugars. I have to think about my health," Rafe said as he rubbed his belly in a circle.

"I'm sure they'd inherit your abilities as well, like your feistiness," Rafe laughed. "You offer so much more that beauty love." Rafe loved her personality, her passion, her love for life. She was absolutely amazing in every way. "Wow, a cousin? From France? I guess I will have to brush up on my French again. I've been a bit rusty. Je t'aime ma chérie," Rafe said with a crooked grin. "How's that?"

And here it began. A confrontation Rafe knew was inevitible. "Listen Marilyn, Carter has been nothing, but nice and supportive of us after what I put him through. He's probably my best mate and Marie has been nothing, but nice to me. I don't see why we couldn't all get along for one evening?"

Marilyn zero'd in on the comments about Carter and Marie like a laser scope. Why were they even having this discussion? The blonde wanted nothing to do with either of them! Why was Rafe bringing this up?

"If you want to go do something with Carter and Marie, go right ahead...but I WILL NOT be there. I have no use for either of them...And I'm sure he's been very supportive...to your face." She turned away from Rafe, then. Talking about this was making her very mad...and when she got mad her expressions weren't pretty...

"As for Marie, I want her to die."

"Fine!" Rafe exclaimed. "If that's how you want to be about it, go right ahead. But, don't make me choose Marilyn! Don't put me in that position!" Rafe knew who he would choose and surely Marilyn did to. But, if she actually asked him, it would hurt him deeply.

"Don't let this spite and hatred consume the best you Marilyn," he said as he leaned over and gave her a kiss, before standing up and leaving the Great Hall. He needed some air and perhaps give Marilyn something to think about.

How dare he talk to her about Marie right now...after everything that had happened. Ugh...Her head was starting to spin. She stood up on shaky legs and ran from the Great Hall. All she wanted to do was go back to her dorm room and sleep...but she didn't want to go there if that girl was there...

Where can I go?

Urrrh... “No.” He replied flatly to Cameron's annoying question. All he was saying was that green bows in the hair would look.. not very nice. Pink was way better. Hehe.

Oliver rolled his eyes and looked away from Cameron as she continued to rant about the Ravenclaw bullies. The Blues seemed like quite a quiet breed to him; keeping themselves to themselves and spending much of their time in the library. Cameron was delusional. “Psycho bullies.” Riiiiiiiiiiight. He ate a few chips and drank some of his juice while Cameron still continued to talk. Merlin, compared to this girl Oliver seemed like the shy and retiring type. Heh. And so his mind began to wander as Cameron's yapping went on and on and on and on and on. Lost in a daydream about Quidditch, he didn't acknowledge her comment about him not listening to her... because he WASN'T listening now either. He only snapped out of his little fantasy about being a Beater for the Montrose Magpies when Cam said something about donning a wig and changing her name. Huh? He blinked and looked at her blankly. Urm.. how to respond to that? “Well if that's what you want to do, I say go for it.” He grinned and patted her arm and went back to his burger. Who had fabulous time management skills? The professors? OH! RAVENCLAWS! - that's what they had been talking about. “So they work on a schedule? Bully you inbetween studying.” Sheesh. Cuh-razy Lion.

So... back to his little dream about being a professional Beater. He smeared some butter on the bread roll and took another bite. Maan, it was nice to fill your stomach after spending the morning puking everywhere. He didn't even register what Cameron said she stated the fact that he was green so nonchalantly. But he saw it, oh yes, he did. Watching his hand start to turn a off green colour, his eyes widened with horror as it darkened and darkened until he resembled a curled haired Jolly Green Giant! He jumped up, staring at his Green!Arms. “I'm GREEEEEEEN!” He stated in rather a panicked tone. He grabbed a spoon and looked at his face which was also GREEN! Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh! He was greener than he was when he was sick earlier that day! Heeeeeelp! He didn't want to be GREEN! Had Cam done this!? She did! She just admitted it. He stared at her with wide green eyes. “Turn me back you crazy MARE!” He demanded and waved his GREEN arms about clearly very distressed about this. He looked like Shrek! A lanky, curly haired SHREK! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

He was mental? HE WAS!? He wasn't the one who went around hexing his friends to turn GREEN! He just gave her a look. Oh he'd hurt her. What a shame. "Yeah.. you go talk to Raven. I may not save your butt this time." He mumbled. "Jus' stay away from her, 'kay? I don't want you getting beaten up again." Like, really - Cam was still his mate even if she did turn him green.

Fallon walked into the Great Hall and disposed of her empty cake plate. It was some of the best cake she had ever had and she would have to find that Gold girl and tell her that. She walked over to the Gryffindor table and found a seat that wasn't surrounded by people so they could plan in peace.

She sat and waited patienty for Brant and the Ravenclaw girl, whose name she hadn't caught, to join her. She couldn't wait to start working on these inviatations.

Brant Plopped down beside Fallon "Hey, Okay lets get started. So I know its going to be House Theme'd, I think we should work patterns or something. Im not too good at that one because, you know Patterns are not my kind of thing" he said while laughing.

Bonnie sank down into the bench across from the two and sighed. She thought for a second then offered her hand to the other girl. "Bonnie Campbell." Smile. Bonnie tapped her chin with her finger than pulled a quill out of her bag. "What about this?" She scetched and showed the two it. "And the animated house thingies at the corner?"

Fallon laughed along with Brant. "Well, I'm a pretty artistic person so I would be able to draw up a badger, a lion, an eagle, and a snake that we could use on the invites. And I'm really good at duplicating charms."

She smiled as the Ravenclaw girl joined them and introduced herself. She shook her hand and said, "It's nice to meet you Bonnie." She looked at the sketch Bonnie showed them. Yay! I'm not the only artistic one. "I think that would be a good idea. What do you think Brant?"

Brant looked at the picture. his first thought was "Man, its way to girly. But what do I say to not make them hate me" he put his hands over his face and began to talk "Erm, Well its really nice. But I think you have to remember that its for Men and Women who used to be at hogwarts, Its a tad too Girly. Sorry ladies" he said while laughing. "But I do like the thought of an Animated animals in the corner. Thats sounds great. and Fallon i would love to see what you can come up with" he said while looking at the two girls.

Carter arrived at the Gryffindor table holding some parchment and his quill. This was going to be his first interview for The Quill. He was both nervous and excited. Luckily the interview was with Brant, whom he already knew. That calmed his nerves a bit. Spotting Captain DeVaice he went and sat across from him. "Hey Brant." he said. "Roxxy should be here anytime."

Brant totally forgot about this interview with Carter. "Oh man... I totally forgot." he thought.

He was just going to duck out of his arts and crafts with the ladies just for a few mins so he could do this interview and then get back to them

"Ladies I will be right back, Just going to do a little interview" he said while winking at them.

"Hey Carter, Thats totally fine. I was just working on the invites for the Alumni Ball" he said while sitting down.

Fallon nodded. She knew it was true, but she didn't want to completely shoot down Bonnie's idea. She was glad when Brant suggested that they still put the animals in the corner and smiled when he said she could draw the little creatures. "I actually have my sketchbook now." She pulled it out of the top of her bag that was always with her. She flipped to a blank page grabbed a pencil and started to sketch out a snake. She was going for something more cartoon-y.

It didn't take long. She turned the book so that both Brant and Bonnie could see what she had drawn. "What do you think? Of course I'd do the other animals similar to this."

She listened to Brant as he said he would be right back. She didn't think anything of the wink that he had given them. "All right. We'll keep trying to figure some things out."

Roxxy arrived to the Gryffindor table at a sprint holding numerous parchments, two sets of quills and a bottle of ink in her arms. Panting and a little red faced she mumbled "Hey, Carter..Sorry if i'm late. I got sidetracked on the way down from the common room." Roxxy dropped her items on the table next to Carter and then closed her eyes to relax for a moment. There was no use being all hyper when one were supposed to be doing something as important as an interview for the school Quill.

As Brant came over Roxxy immediatly recognized him as the guy who had helped with her pets during the opening feast. Smiling brightly she said "Hey, Brant! Ready to do the interview?" There was no use bombarding the Gryffie captain if he wasn't ready. Plopping herself down in the seat next to Carter she took a parchment from her stack and had her quill ready for when the interview really kicked off.

Bonnie frowned. It was far to girlie. "Yeah... Well, something like that anyway! Like, daker colours and stuff." Worth the try. She didn't really like it herself. Yuckkkeeehhhhh.

Bonnie leaned over and smiled. "That's perfect. And you could add scales and stuff two!" Ooh! A lightbulb turned on over her head. "Oh! Fallon! What about if we had the four founders dancing at the top and then the animated thin's in the corners? Just an idea." She added hastilally.

He winked at them. Did he just WINK at them? Weeiiirrrddd. He was trying to be a ladies man. And suceeding. And not suceeding. She took a bite out of a warm bread roll. It was soft in her mouth, and she smiled. Hmm... Yummeh! Then, INTERVIEW?!?! "Um... 'kay..." Why was this "ladies man" getting interviewed?!?!

"Ladies if you don't mind for a couple of mins, I have to do an interview. I'll be right back. and Oh the drawing is fantastic. just keep up the great ideas" he said while moving closer to Carter and Roxy.

"OH okay, Imma ready to start when ever you guys are ready." Brant said

"Fantastic." Carter said readying himself to take notes. "So first question I have is how excited are you for this new season?" he asked. They won the quidditch cup last year, so Brant must be excited and hopeful for a repeat performance.

"I am really excited about this term, we have a lot of new players so I'm really hopeful for our chances this term" he said while looking at Carter

"Everyone gets along, and they have deffently been practicing over the summer, just can't wait to play our first match of the season." he answered again.

elika sits on the table and starts eating immediately.she is really hungry.

Roxxy took notes as Brant spoke about his new team. Since he had himself brought it up which made Roxxy ask "You said there were many new players this term on the team? Any in particular that stood out during the tryouts?"Glancing sideways at Carter she hoped that he didn't mind that she had throwed in a question.

"There were so many that stood out, but I could only pick my team, I would have loved to picked them all but." he shrugged his shoulders.

"put out of all the new people I think Miss Katherine Pots stood out for me the most, her skill will be really useful during the matches." he explained a bit more. "She can fly really well." he added.

"We won the Quidditch Cup last term, so obviously you're a good captain. Do you plan on making some changes to your practices and strategies?" Carter asked while taking notes on the earlier questions.

"I want to keep it the same way I did last term, for it worked... didn't it" he laughed at them

"But I want to add some new things that I learned over the summer, that I want to see how the team takes it. But I can't tell you what that is, Captain's secret." he winked at Carter.

Giggling a little Roxxy admitted "Yes your strategies worked last term Brant." Glancing down at her question sheet she asked "Which team do you think will be Gryffindors biggest rival for the Quidditch cup?" Interviewing was fun and Brant was an easy person to talk too.. It would be tougher when they had to interview Professor Vindictus she knew.
