Kate put a large slice of bread in her plate and started to spread some melon jam on it. "I have been signing me up in the Duelling club and Gryffindor´s Quidditch tryouts. And next, after breakfast, I will attend the DADA class. I am looking forward that class. And u?" She said that as quickly as possible, she was really hungry.

"Wow! You've been busy!" Maggie said as she took a huge gulp of pumpkin juice. "I've just been trying to meet new people and get used to Hogwarts i guess." she replied conversationally. "But i also signed up for dueling club! And i'm super excited about DADA! I've been reading up on defensive spells just in case." Maggie giggled. "I hope this class isn't going to be too hard..."

Dittany and Flitterbloom….Fluxweed and Ginger…now I don’t know where I’m going to get the Ginger – unless the kitchen staff has some – although I doubt it’ll be fresh. Maybe I should send for some seeds. Daisy pondered as she entered the Great Hall and made her way to the Gyffindor table. I do have a few empty pots still. Although I’m not sure that Vivianne would approve another plant in our dorm room…

“Oh hey,” Daisy said as she sat down recognizing the young Firsty she had spoken with at the Sorting. “How are things going? Could you pass the kidney pie?” She pored herself some tea from a nearby tea pot and gave the other girl the firsty was talking to a smile.

Magnolia smiled back and introduced herself, "Hi, i'm maggie"

"I hope that too!" Kate said to Maggie.She took a little sip of pumpkin juice and continue "do u know anything about Prof. Truebridge?"

Kate saw Daisy a second after she had sat down." Hi Daisy! Good to see you again." Kate said, passing her the kidney pie."It´s that tasty? smells good...BTW, this is my friend Magnolia" She said, presenting her first year friend Maggie

"Actually, i dont' know anything about any of the professors..." Maggie answered nervously. "I'm a muggleborn. The first person in my faily to go to Hogwarts."

“It’s quite good. One of the House Elves’ specialties. Wanna try some?” Daisy scooped out some for herself and then held out the half-filled spoon ready to plop some onto Kate’s plate if she wanted some.

“Magnolia huh? Funny, don’t often hear other flower names around here.” She smiled at the younger girl. “I’m Daisy. Nice to meet you Maggie.” She used the nickname since that’s how Magnolia introduced herself. “I wouldn’t worry too much about not knowing any of the professors. There are so many new ones this year that even I don’t know half of them.”

"Hey, me too! I´m so scared " Kate said."Thank god we have each other "

Maggie smiled at the other girls. They both seemed very nice and she was enjoying making friends who were magical like herself. She took another bite of her apple, and checked her watch. "Oh! It's almost time for DADA, we better run!" She said standing up and gathering her belongings. Maggie definitely did not want to be late on her first day of classes. She waved to the other girls as she ran out of the great hall.

Kate sniffed the pie Daisy was approaching..that smells really good, she thought "Ok, let me try it. Thank you" She said to Daisy with a big smile. " You´r kind of my official food tester haha " Kate took a big portion of kidney pie with her spoon and put it in her mouth "mmm...delisshious" She said, with her mouth still full of food.


"Maggie, wait! I´m coming too!" Kate shouted to Magnolia. Then she grabbed her things and turned to Daisy.
"Bye Daisy, hope we see u again, soon!" Kate said to Daisy. Then she run behind her friend.

"Stick with me kid," Daisy said in an American-South-Western Accent reminiscent of an old Western movie. "And I'll never steer you wrong." She paused and when she spoke again, it was in her normal voice. "Well, at least when it comes to food."
As Maggie jumped up and ran off, Daisy sat there with a funny look on her face and her spoon hanging out of her mouth. I don’t think I’ve seen someone move that fast since Isador last summer when the Horntail was after him… She swallowed and turned her conversation back to Kate. “No the DADA professor’s been around for a while. He used to teach History. DADA is sorta a new territory for him but,” She shrugged. Why there were so many new professors was a good question. She wasn’t exactly sure why everyone kept coming and going. The overturn of professors at this school was crazy. Perhaps they couldn’t handle so many strange kids with so many strange happenings. “I’m not sure why the overturn is so high here…could be some professors miss their families too much and decided to take a less time-commitment type of job?”

Cameron's mock excitement made Oliver grin – her mick taking always did. He looked upwards, trying to look at his hair. “Green?” He questioned. “Really? I reckon pink. Green would make me look like I had some kind of fungal disease.” Snort. He looked at her and smiled when she said he was cute. Hehe! He thought he was more awesomely handsome in a unique kinda way but cute would do. heh.

Oliver really didn't get the girl's paranoia over the 'evil' Ravenclaws. They all seemed so.. nerdy. Book-smart and, dare he say it? - Yep: boring. “So C'mon.. what do they do to you.. these evil Ravenclaws? Steal your pocket money? Hex you so your teeth resemble an overgrown beavers?” He sat back and waited for the girl to explain. Maybe it was psychological bullying – words and shizz like those girls had done to Weird!Kid at the feast. That was worse than physical stuff in a way.
He shrugged and started eating again when Cam said she didn't want to go somewhere else. Fine by him. He was comfy where he was.
A sewer. Ew.. But a pretty accurate description. “Pffft. Least I can do something about that. You've got no hope with that face.” Baha! He smirked annoyingly at Cameron. Meh.. she had a nice face; if she hadn't he would never say anything like that.

He put down his fork and looked at Cam. Sigh. The stinky jokes just kept coming. “Go on then.” He said. “Summon a giant plastic bag.” Where the hell would she summon one from? It's not as if they had wheelie bins in the wizarding world. Heh. And then she tried and Oliver smirked. “Yeah.. good one.” He said sarcastically and went back to his chips.
“I didn't say you never do, I said it's a wonder you do.” hehe.

“You've never been for a dip in the lake?” He raised his eyebrows. “It's amazing on a hot day." He said dreamily. "I'm yet to see this giant talking squid mind you.” He was beginning to think the thing was just a myth. He smiled when she agreed... then made a face – more smelly jokes. “Your bad experience with swimming... What happened?” He asked changing the subject and ignoring her teasing. He didn't like the idea of smelling like an old woman. Urrrh.

Magnolia walked into the great hall to grab a quick bite to eat. She accidentally missed breakfast this morning because she was running late to class (like always) so she'd been starving all day. She sat down at the end of the table and began to pile food onto her plate. *very ladylike*

Justin walked into the Great Hall. He saw no-one he knew at the Slytherin House Table but he did see Maggie at the Gryffindor table. "Hey Maggie" he said with a smile on his face.

"Hi Justin" Maggie said, with a mouth full of bread. She swallowed her food and smiled, "Would you like to join me?" she asked.

Justin spotted that Olivia was at the Slytherin table talking to some other guy. That didn't look good. He really didn't like the look of it.

Then he turned his focus back to Maggie. "I'll take a seat but I'm not really hungry. I had too many gummy worms for breakfast, and it is a really bad idea" he replied with a slight giggle on the last bit as he sat down.

"Hey guys!" Ainra said. She had come into the great hall to just grab something and go but upon spotting some familiar face she decided to sit down. "Mind if I sit?" She grabbed a grab of pumpkin juice.

Magnolia laughed, gummy worms were one of her favorites. She noticed Justin's glance at Olivia, "Do you like her" she asked bluntly, in true Magnolia fashion. (aka brutally honest) *hehe*

Maggie saw Ainra and waved at her, "Sure pull up a....bench" oops no chairs =)

Justin smiled at Ainra. "Hey. Take a seat, its your house table, don't ask me" he replied.

Then he looked at Maggie. "I love her to pieces. She's my girlfriend" he replied refusing to look at Olivia again. He was afraid he'd make it obvious he was watching her.

Ainra quickly glanced at Justin's girlfriend, noticing she was talking to another boy. That was probably why he seemed so uneasy. "I'm sure they're just chatting." Ainra reassured him. She turned to Magnolia. "Excited for arithmancy?" She asked.

"Maybe. She did say she'd flirt with a lot of guys around Hogwarts" he replied. He hoped it was nothing more than her keeping her word.

Cameron smirked, "You telling me your uniform makes you look like you have a fungues growing on you?" Really, the Snakey uniform wasn't that bad. Erm..
The Lion smiled fondly as he seemed almost adorably rolling in her compliment. Now that was cute. Tehehee.
Her eye's widened as he asked her the question. What were the Ravenclaws doing?
Looking awfully important, Cameron sighed dramatically as if pysching herself up for a dreadful speech. "Look at them Oliver, all sweet and innocent and nerdy but they aren't what they seem." She looked positively crazy by the end. Her eyes wide and frazzled, even her hair seemed to take part in her stage play and crackled with frustration and electricity.

Oh how Cameron would love to be an actress. Heehee.

"In my first year, this Ravenclaw girl bumped into me in the corridor and she's done it every week since. Like it's her ritual. By the third year, she'd gotten her friends to do it and I have allergies, right and they'll come up to me and deliberately shower their book dust on me. Last year it got even worse, now the whole Ravenclaw house is against me. They break my bag, they laugh at me and .. " She couldn't bare to say it. "They stalk me." The Gryffie whispered and nodded seriously.

She took a sip of pumpkin juice and snorted at his comment about her face. She laughed, brightly as he joked. "Would you like a roll, Oliver?" She asked sweetly and then smirked devilishly. He would get his own back.

Suuu, they'd confirmed Cam's wand skills were lacking didn't mean he had to laugh. But the thought made her giggle, especially because seconds ago she'd been laughing about the erm.. scent wafting from her mate.
"I wasn't summoning dork, shows how much you know about spells. I was," She waved her hands around dramatically, "You know.. creating." -_________-
The girl rolled her eyes at his unnecessary correction, "Big whoop. At least with being a hermit I manage to retain dignity and not smell like a gutter." Smile. Cameron was sooo nice, wasn't she?

The talking WHAT? "THERE'S A SQUID?" Uhm. No, she definetely wasn't swimming then. She'd sit on the side while Oliver de-swamped himself.
She smirked, "Hopefulyl the squid or the merpeople eat you." *giggle* But Cammy wouldn't want that. She'd be sad. What would she do with Ollie? Ha. Ha.. he.. what would she do?
"My bad experience? Well we went on holidays to Turkey for the summer and there was this little boy and anyway. I thought he liked me, turned out the only reason he was talking to me was because he wanted to get me in the water. Turns out the Black Sea isn't so great for your skin - I don't really like random water holes ever since." But anyway. She was willing to risk it so she could get him smelling normal again.
"Can we PUHLEASE get going? You really smell bad." Her comment about Nanna was practically a compliment to what he smelled like.

Nessa has been around campus and within in the common room, she finally began to feel hungry. So she walks down to the Great Hall and took a seat at the Gryffindor table. Not to sure with what they were having, she began to see food appear in front of her and it was all her favorite lunch specials. She smiles, grabs her fork and began to dig into her food.

Lucy sat down at the table, and moodily pulled a plate of bread towards her. Tearing it apart like she wanted to kill it, she finally just put her head down on the table. "This sucks."

Brayden walked into the Great Hall and noticed a girl she had met earlier. "Hey do you remember me from earlier?" she asked as she grabbed a seat and some food.
