Jason wanted to change things since they had broken up during break. He noticed girls staring at him, and he stared back. It was one of the torture treatments up his sleeve for girls. They hated it.
“Oh, hi Reed. I didn’t see you there.” He already felt uncomfortable talking to her as it was. “So, how was the rest of your summer? Yeah, I tried out for seeker and chaser. Dad said I’d be good at both. Are you trying out? I think you’d be a good chaser.” He said. She looked troubled, more jealous. He wanted her back, but he guessed she couldn’t bear going out with him again. He took her arm, hoping she wouldn’t pull away. “Reed, I just wanted to know if…” He paused. How was he going to put this? “If you still like me, because I kind of just wanted to be friends.” He blurted it out and hoped she wouldn’t run away crying. She was a Gryffindor after all, but sometimes…

"We can orgnise sometime", Ginny told Rex. "Yes I am ready for classes", Ginny answered Rex.

"We will organize a lots of freinds to go out together" Rex told Ginny. " Let's make Gryffindor number one for the house cup" Rex said to Ginny and anyone within earshot.

"Yeah, he decided to be my big brother, because I'm an only child and so is he." Adelyn explained, "There's really nothing to apologize for." She laughed; that's one thing she never understood. Everyone was always apologizing for something, even when it wasn't there fault to begin with. Sometimes, she just didn't understand why. "Okay, let's." She replied, smiling.

Brant is the Quidditch captain right?" Rex asked Adelyn. Then he remembered about the Quidditch incident last year. " For some reason, I only have one friend at HogWarts that is male and he is not in Gryffindor" Rex explained to Adelyn. Well, put your hands in this postion as you know and let's Cha, Cha Cha as we have our feet in right place ,too" Rex said to Adelyn. Rex and Adelyn started cutting a rug.

"Yeah, he is." Adelyn replied, "And oh, really? Why is that?" She didn't want to sound rude by questioning, because she understood it. She was kind of like that back home, except all of her friends were boys rather than girls. Adelyn smiled as they got in right position to begin to Cha-Cha.

Tori entered the common room and saw Adelyn dancing around with Rex. She sat in one of the chairs and said, "Hey Adelyn! Enjoying yourself?"

Vanessa's eyes widened in fear. "I would love to...but no thank you." She said rubbing her arm nervously. She didn't hate the flying it was going up into air that scared her...wait wasn't that the same thing?

She shrugged. "I guess it is. Luckily people can hear the songs when I sing them for muggles." She said. "Well the best thing about singing in showers is that you can hit every note you like, and won't be judged by other people." She laughed. It was true she would always practice her super high notes in the shower it was pretty funny.

Hmmm...what else could she tell Aiden. "So do you have any siblings?" She asked curiously. Maybe Bonnie knew his siblings..well if he had any. "I have one sister and she's in her 4th Year here." She said.

So, she was scared of flying. Or maybe it was heights. But that was fine with him, as long as he got to fly, everyone would be happy.

He grinned. "That's a good point," he remarked, after hearing her theory about singing in showers. Perhaps he'd work on his pitch next time and soon become the next big star. Yeah! Right. But who knows, maybe Vanessa would be. "I'll have to hear you sing sometime, then."

"I have an older sister, but that's it." He shrugged. She hadn't even gone to Hogwarts anyway, so he doubted that she knew anyone that was related to him. "So, is your sister a Gryffindor as well?"

Vanessa shrugged. "Sometime you can hear me, but not now seeming as I would be too embarassed to do it. " She said. It was true, she had to be comfortable who in front she was singing. It was better to sing in front of a crowd she didn't know than she did know.

She nodded. "Did your sister ever go to Hogwarts?" She asked curiously. "Oh no, my sister is a Ravenclaw. I'm a bit braver than she is." She slightly laughed.

"All right. Agreed," Aiden said with a nod. He wasn't expecting her to sing right then, especially right there in the common room. Maybe eventually, though.

"Nope. She went to Beauxbatons." She probably would have liked Hogwarts, come to think of it. But she had enjoyed her years at Beauxbatons, he knew that very well. "So, your sister is an egghead, then, huh? Ravenclaw."

"Really? That's funny, I might've known her." Vanessa said thinking about the amazing memories about Beauxbatons. "I went to Beauxbatons before but I came to Hogwarts during my 6th Year." She said. "Don't tell anybody but I like it here better, you can eat alot more." She laughed.

"Haha, yes she can be very smart sometimes. However I still think I'm smarter than her." She said. "Then again she'll probably be smarter than me once she gets older." She shrugged.

"Will you be joining us over the weekend?", she asked the girl.

"Ah, wonderful! I took ballet for years, I wish they offered some type of dance class here", she told Rex, hoping he'd be impressed.

"Loads. LOADS I mean", said Ginny. "That was loud Rex. Let's make Gryffindor number one this term", Ginny said even louder than Rex.


"Yeah sure. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ginny", said Ginny.

" If I knew why I did not get along with boys here, I would tell you" Rex told Adelyn. " I think it is because I can talk to girls easier plus the boys here do not like my American Muggle sports like baseball and American football and I do not lie soccer" Rex explained to Adelyn. They stsrted the Cha -Cha. " You are doing great' Rex said to Adelyn.

"Well, I do ballroom dancing" Rex told Nicolette. " I do like to watch one or two ballets, "Swan Lake" and " The NutCracker Suite" Rex said to Nicolette.'" I had a temporary job earlier teaching dance during the summer but the lady could not get enough students so she closed the dance studio" Rex explained to Nicolette.

"Well between you, Kay and I, there will be a lot of frinds going out" Rex told Ginny. " Yes, number one will be good" Rex said to Ginny.

Saz walks into the common room.... this is a new place to him.. He does recognize tori though. " Hi Tori, where do i sign up for quidditch?'

Tori heard someone call to her. She leaned around the back of her chair to see Saz."Hey Saz. Oh over there on the notice board. What position are you trying out for?"she greeted back as she got up and strode over to him while pointing him toward the notice board.

lookin on the notice board... Saz thinks about what position he would be good at.... he responds, " hmm what position you think i should for?, i was thinkin probably beater or chaser"

"Ok, go for it. Those are the ones i'm trying out for. Played them both last year, mostly chaser though even if I was on the reserves."Tori replied, smiling at Saz.

"I've lost count of how many friends I have", Ginny told Rex. "What's your lucky number?", asked Ginny.

"oh ok, so whats your favourtie position?" asked Saeed as he looked into Tori's browns eyes smiling.

"Well I like chaser. It's the most active apart from keeper on the pitch."she replied, smiling back."You have to be quick and agile."

Magnolia laughed when she heard Rex yelling. She didn't know anything about Quidditch but she definitely hope Gryffindor won. She was a lion through and through!

Nessa finally walked into the Gryffindor common room with an amazed look on her face. She felt as if she was seeing it for the first time, with all the detail and moving portraits. Nessa giggled and waved as the portraits were going about their own business. She looks around the room noticeing everything was vintage and elegant, she finds a seat on the couch and pulls out her book to begin reading.

Okay, so maybe she did know his sister. Well.. not very well, obviously. But Vanessa would have been a fourth year while his sister was a seventh year. The eldest Chevalier was quite popular at Beauxbatons, too.. so, now that he thought about it, Vanessa could probably recall her if she saw her. "Well, her name's Madison. Blonde hair, my color eyes? So, if Madison Chevalier rings a bell.."

Aiden smirked a little. "Well, give Bonnie some time." That was what Vanessa's little sister's name was, right? Yes.. "Is this her first year at Hogwarts, as well?"
