Jason Dean waked into the common room, breathing in the fresh air of summer. He was so happy that school was going on again, and he wondered what would happen between him and Reed. Their relationship hadn't been going so hot during break, and he wondered if she had found some body yet.

He sat down on one of the couches and took out his book. he first day back and he already had tons of homework. He ocasionally glanced up to see if Reed was coming, hoping she would make some friends this year, just not too many boys.

Magnolia curled up on a cushy chair in front of the fireplace and began to read her copy of Hogwarts A History. She felt something pawing her knee and when she looked down, Magnolia saw her kitten Tilly trying to get into the chair too. "Come here you", she said, gently scooping up the fluffy little kitten.

Adrianne moved into the Common Room with a bright smile. She was enjoying her time at this new school- despite all of the differences. She settled onto a couch in front of a fire and looked around her. She glanced between the two others in the sitting area (Magnolia and Jason) and gave a smile. "How are your years going?" she asked them both, her smile warm. She was sure that her American accent would stick out- but she didn't care. She was used to the strange looks.

Nicolette blushed the deepest shade. She couldn't really remember the last time a boy had complemented her. "I-I-I, umm, you are too Rex!" Nicolette quickly glued her eyes to the floor, nervous like she ahd never been before.

Ginny was getting tickling like anything now and couldn't take it. "Alright, alright your a better tickler than me", said Ginny still in laughter.

Magnolia looked up when she heard someone speak to her in an american accent. "Hi! i'm from the states as well" she hadn't met many others from back home.

Adrianne blinked as she heard the girl speak. "Oh my!" she exclaimed, her smile widening. "Where are you from?" she asked eagerly. She hadn't met many from the states- she was beginning to think that she was the only one. But now... there was someone else that she could talk about hamburgers and American landmarks to.

Magnolia shifted in her seat so she was facing Adrianne, "I'm from North Carolina, so it's been a big trip" she said smiling a little sadly. "What about you?" she asked curiously, petting Tilly gently behind the ears.

"Really! That's so awesome... I'm from New England," she said, nodding in understanding. "Is this your first year? Or did you transfer here?" she asked. Then, she saw Tilly. "Awww!!" she exclaimed. "May I pet her?" she asked, resisting the urge to reach out to pet her.

"Wow, it's really nice to meet you" Maggie said sincerely. "Just knowing someone from home helps!" she smiled. Magnolia picked Tilly up and brought her over to Adrianne and set her in her lap, "of course! she loves people" The small kitten snuggled down into her new friends lap and went back to sleep. "Do you have any pets?" she asked.

Legend ran down the stairs of the boys dorm quickly holding a small dufflebag.Walking over the the corner of the common room he sat down on the floor then looked around to make sure that no one was watching him. The blonde opened the bag and a small head popped out. Lifting the baby red fox out of the bag and onto his lap he reached into another pocket, pulled out pieces of cut apple and began feeding it.

Cameron sprinted in the common room. Wand. Wand. Wand. Wand Oh nuggets! Where had she left her wand! Skipping over a blonde boy with a fox, she ran to the stairs before she stopped. Wait, what?
Backtracking she bent down to look at the younger Lion with the red animal who was currently feeding it bits of apple.
"Uhh.. are they allowed in Hogwarts?" She asked slightly enviously. She'd always thought cats, owls, dogs and toads were boring hence not bringing an animal at all but.. this was coooool!

"Well if you say, I am a sweetheart, I guess I could agree with you" Rex told Nicolette." So what about the butterbeer?" Rex asked Nicolette.

"Well, you are a good tickler, too" Rex told Ginny. " You are coming to get butterbeer with us, right?' Rex asked Ginny.

He was having fun, just playing with Pluto all by himself when somone- a girl came and asked a stupid-or not stupid...question. Reaching into his pocket to get his notepad as Pluto continued to eat he wrote something down quickly and showed the girl. It read:

"No clue. I don't really care. Don't tell anyone though."

And of course by ANYONE he meant professors. Because if she did.....well....she was stupid. Duh.

Suddenly, Tilly jumped out of Maggie's arms and trotted over to the corner of the common room where a boy was feeding what looked like a baby fox. Maggie had a HUGE soft spot for all animals, but she knew that a fox was probably not allowed. She tip toed over and scooped up Tilly. "He's beautiful" she said in a low whisper. Tilly was trying to get down and play, and Maggie was having a hard time holding her still.

Cameron undid her black ribbon around her wrist and tied her curly hair back. She knelt down as the little red animal starting playing with himself, "What's his name?" The red head asked as the boy pulled out a notepad. As he handed her the notepad she frowned, "I won't.." She told him slowly, "But.. can't you talk?"

Cameron turned at the sound of someone's voice and nodded with a huge smile. "He is isn't he?"

Could he talk? Yes. Would he?....Welll....Katie wasn't around so Legend didn't see the harm..."His name is Pluto." He said barley above a whisper. "I...can talk but...my voice....my friend made fun of my voice changing so I said I wasn't gonna talk again." Legend said finally his voice getting a bit louder. Stupid Hufflepuff. And WHY was Pluto bringing all these girls here?

All of a sudden another girl had appeared, with a small kitten. It was...sorta cute...you know...for a kitten. So...it yeah...was cute. The girl had picked the kitten up before it ran away again. Pluto was beautiful? Well...he WAS Legend's pet. "Er...thanks." He whispered quietly.

"Do you guys wanna feed him?" He asked with a sigh as he held out some apples.

"I'll definitely take you up on that!

"Hey Ginny! I don't think we've met, my names Nicolette. I'm a first year!"

Cameron watched as he spoke, in a voice barely audible over the chatter in the common room. "Who made fun of you?" And more importantly, why? Cammy drew no conclusions other than the completely natural start of puberty.
"Did you voice break?" She whispered in a similar fashion, to get him to relax. He seemed scared.
"You have to talk. You should'nt let whoever made fun of you win..!" And didn't Cameron know it.

"Thanks Rex", said Ginny. "Yeah, I'd love to get some butterbeer", Ginny told Rex.

Vivianne flopped herself into one of the couches by the fire. She haven't spotted Daisy around since the start of term feast. Where could her best friend be right now. Classes will soon be starting. She opened her bag and pulled a red velvet diary which was given by her lovely sister Natalia.

Brushing her brunette hair out of her eyes, she pulled a quill which instantly refills itself and began scribbling. Not until she got bored writing that she snapped her diary close and she packed it in her bag again. Where have all the people gone? She doesn't want to lock herself up this tower. Maybe she could go for a walk down the grounds or by the corridors. Just not to get herself in trouble... Ah ah, she isn't going to spend her last year with detentions... or maybe she could try having one, right?

now, just some silly thoughts hitting the brunette headed's mind. She might try it, and her sister and parents don't have to know.

Grabbing the notepad again he scribbled a simple name. Katie Mae. He was determined not to speak again. He was already talking to much anyways. He didn't want people to feel SORRY for him. No. Ew.

Shouldn't let the person win? What did this girl know about winning? HE WAS WINNING. It was obvious Katie was getting annoyed from him not talking. Duh.

Legend rolled his eyes. Girls were annoying. "I..have to go." He said quietly. Lifting Pluto back into the bag he grabbed the apples and put then inside too. He was out of the Common Room so fast if you blinked you would have missed it.

''Hey ya Carter, mate!'' Josh exclaimed again as a responce to Carter's greeting. For a split moment he looked back at the girl. Well... they did not look like they liked the game he made up but on the other hand he did not expect them to do so. Since they were girls and girls mostly found funniest games pointless. For them everything had to be about looking beautiful. Hah!

So he put the chocolate back in his pocket and turned back to Carter listening the quidditch discussion a few students pwere performing. Josh was not sure if he was going to play quidditch this season for his mum had been quite mad at him for breaking his legs or arms while doing a sport. Meh. She had so many rules, she lived with rules...

''Hmmm the master goes to sleep'' he said happliy and definitely not looking sleepy and he settled himself down in an armchair before the fireplace. A big smirk invading his face, he closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.

Magnolia had just sat down across from the boy, when he picked up his things and bolted from the common room. "Wha..." Oh well, Maggie didn't understand boys anyway.

Aiden walked into the common room and made his way right over to one of those big, comfy armchairs. Aah. He fell back into one of them and propped both his arms on armrests. This place was definitely the place to relax. He glanced around at the red and gold room, wondering who'd walk through the portrait hole next.
