"I have been nothing but blatantly honest with you since the day we met." With that he stood abruptly and tucked the book under his arm. "Get over yourself, Lexi, get over your guilt and self loathing and then maybe I'll think about removing some of my own guilt. But you can't expect the world to change for you." He turned to leave and then stopped, looking back over his shoulder. "And no, I'm not trying to help you out of guilt. I'm doing it because that's what friends do. Stop thinking there are strings attached and that everyone hates being around you." With that, he turned back and started heading for the stairs to the dormotories.

Lexi exhaled in a huff and watched with mild amusement as Sabel showed emotion... she had gotten a reaction out of him. SCORE. AS he turned his back to leave she let a smirk play on her lips, but quickly hid it when he turned around again. "Getting over guilt of epic proportions is going to take a little more than your shouting at me in a common room, Sabel," she said to his back. OH NO HE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO STORM OFF.

Looking to one side she spotted a pile of unused parchment. Picking up a few pieces she wadded them up and with the skill of a Chaser, lobbed it right at the back of his head. She really hoped she wasn't that rusty. Giggling slightly as she waited to see if it made contact she said, "Hey! I am not done with you yet. You don't get to be mean without my having a chance for rebuttal... and besides, I got a genuine reaction from you that is all I ever really wanted. Not some Lexi Approved reaction. Come back, sit down."

Daisy laughed. She always loved her own laugh, not many people like their laugh, but hers sounded like belles."Well we'll see what you think in a week."

" You have a cute laugh" Rex told Daisy. "What, are we not going to like each other after a week?" Rex asked Daisy. " You are too nice not to be liked" Rex explained to Daisy.

Daisy smiled at his comment about her laugh. "I like my laugh too." She laughed again. "No I mean we'll be friends. I'm just a book worm. I love books about every subject. It's the trait in my dads side of the family. You however, don't seem like a book person and you'll get bored pretty quick if you're not a book person."

"Actually, I like books" Rex told Daisy. " i just prefer to do my homework and not go to classes" Rex said to Daisy. "Cool, friends" Rex smiled.

"Well then we'll have no problem then." Daisy smiled and finally sat down on the floor leaning against the couch. She pulled a strand of hair and twisted it between her two fingers. She smiled. "It feels good to ave friends. And my dad said it would be impossible to make friends." She laughed. her parents were crazy.

" Your dad was wrong" Rex told Daisy. " So what book are your reading now?" Rex asked Daisy. " Friends are great to have fun" Rex smiled at Daisy.

Daisy sighed and smiled."Yeah I know," at least she hoped and her smile fell a little and she bit down on her bottom lip. You'll always be cursed. Her fathers words ran through her head. She shook it off and smiled again."I'm reading a muggle series called 'Pretty Little Liars'."She said to Rex. "It's interesting really. The imagination these muggles have."

" I bet you always believe you could have fun" Rex told Daisy. "So what is this book tell us?" rex asked Daisy. "Does not sound like a book for boys" REx laughed.

"Well,"Daisy said smiling. "It's not a book for boys really. More like a mystery with some crazy stuff. But it's good for me anyway. However it'd be better if written by a witch or wizard though." She smiled. "What books are you reading?"

" Well the book is not for boys but it is a mystery, hmm" Rex told Daisy. "Well, you like books written by witche or wizards better, why?" Rex asked Daisy. " I read boooks on dancing and football but I like to read books on charms, too" Rex explained to Daisy.

"It's nice here. And well, the school's a whole lot bigger here." he added with a shrug. Opal barked happily and walked over to Rex, sniffing him. Jay chuckled at her actions. Opal then licked Rex's hand as he scratched her neck. Jay grinned and watched as she walked back towards him and nipped at his pants. He scolded her quietly and picked her up. "Well, alright. If you say so."

Daisy giggled. "You read books on dancing?" She laughed. "Very interesting." She laughed again. "I love books on charms. I even have the second year charm book. I like to be ahead of everyone I know."

" I am glad you like it at HogWarts" Rex told Jay."Well, Opal be nice, no nipping at yoru new friend" Rex said to her. " Yes, I guess I say so" Rex laughed.

"Well, maybe you would like another charm book, the third year one" Rex said to Daisy. " Yes, I am a dance so I read books by others who are dance experts" Rex explained to Daisy. " I have won ball room dance contests " Rex told Daisy.

Daisy's eyes lit up and a smile stretched across her face. "I can't wait for the thirs year book." She was a nerd. "And you ball room dancing. I don't believe it." She laughed.

Jay nodded. "So, what year are you in?" he asked curiously. Opal barked happily as Jay looked around, hoping she wouldn't disturb anyone else. Jay chuckled.

"Well, I knew you would like the charms book" Rex told Daisy. "Well, yes I am a good ball room dancer" Rex said to Daisy. " It is not that funny" Rex explained to Daisy laughing.

" 5th year student here" Rex told Jay. "So are you a second or third year?" Rex asked Jay. "So when you go to classes, where does Opal go?" Rex asked Jay.

Daisy stopped laughing. "You're right it's not that funny.I'm sorry I laughed." She bit her botoom lip trying to hold back a smile but couldn't help it. She smiled big and wide showing off her white teeth. "So charms and ballroom dancing. And interesting combination. How well would you say the two go together? The combination of ones waltzing abilty tied all together with a levitation spell." Daisy covered her mouth wth her hand. she was sounding all too smart now.

"Ah, I'm a fourth year actually." He smiled. "So, we're only a year apart then." he added. "Well, Opal goes up to my room and i have this gate thing that i put her in. I have a crate too, but Opal doesn't like it much." Jay shrugged.

" Do not stop laughing. I thought what you said was funny" Rex told Daisy."Well, when I dance anything expecially a Waltz, using the levitation spell would make my partner and me really light on our feet" Rex laughed really hard." So do you like Muggle Studies?" Rex asked Daisy.

"Good, we are close in age, too" Rex told Jay. " My poor liitle Opal has to go in a crate" Rex said to the dog. So what is your favorite class?" Rex asked Jay.

Daisy laughed again. "You're so confusing Rex." She kaughed again even though his joke was a little corny. "I love muggle studies. I mean I live with a muggle. So I understand everything on both ends of the line both muggle and witch. But there's something I learn in the class that I never did know."

" I want to keep you on your toes" Rex told Daisy. "So what sis you learn in Muggle studies?" Rex asked Daisy.

Sabel flinched a little as he felt something hit the back of his head, freezing on the spot. He could faintly hear the leather binding of the book creak as his grip tightened on it. With a glare that had never crossed his expression before, he turned furious eyes back on Alexa. "Respect me, just a little bit Lexi, and maybe I'll consider sitting beside you at some point in the future. I'm not here for your beckon call and whim, for you to cuddle when you need it and then discard me when you are done with me. You may not be done with this conversation, but I gave you more than ampel opportunity to discuss things civily. And I'm not being mean, I am being honest, as I always am."

He turned once again to go and stopped, tilting his head back just the slightest bit but not to actually look at her. "Maybe think about considering Lexi, that you are not the only one with feelings that matter." Eyes back to the stairs, he set his feet forward again; he needed to get out of the common room.

Daisy laughed. "I learned that not everything is what it seems. I always thought everything had one job but some things have mutiple jobs."
