Carter walked into the common room and breathed it all in. "Home sweet home." he said happily. He then saw that quidditch try-outs were already up. He walked up and put his name on the list before plopping into a chair by the fire.

"I'm doing great. I'm glad to be back!" Josiah exclaimed excitedly. "Quidditch captain, huh? I love watching Quidditch. I'm absolutely terrible at playing though. Anyway, being captain has gotta be pretty cool."

"You're welcome."Tori replied. "So what class do you think you'll like?"

"Oh yeah! Of course. It was awesome and I like awesome, just as much as undefeated champs. Gotta work hard...well that's if I make the team or at least the reserves."she replied with unbridled exuberance, that was reflected in her wide, cheerful smile.

Tori looked up and saw another proud Gryffy walk into the common room. After he approached and greeted everyone she replied, "It was really good, had a lot of fun with my mom. But it's great to be back. How was yours?"Her smile never faded, tired or fell as she spoke. It had been a while since Tori was back to her friendly self, flashing her contagious smile.

Was there an echo in the room? Rafe looked around to see who said what he said as he entered the room to. Ah! Great minds think alike as he notice Carter sitting down on a chair. "You're taking my lines," Rafe laughed. "Are you going to be there for Brantsy's Q&A?"

Ainra walked into the common room for the first time, looking around in awe. This had to be the most exciting day ever. Looking around she wondered who to talk to. As a first year she didn't know that many people, but she had promised herself that she would be confident and make friends. That could start tomorrow though. Tonight she was tired. She took a seat in one of the arm chairs in front of the fire and pulled Quidditch Through The Ages from her bag. She hoped to learn as much as she could about the sport in the next few weeks.

Carter laughed. "You own that phrase now?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm planning on coming. Got to scope out the competition. Wouldn't want to be beaten out by a first year without a fight." he said looking around the common room. Hopefully there wasn't some kid that was like they were their first year. "How about you? Planning on going?"

Rafe poked Carter then quickly removed his finger like he was stung or something, "Psss Sinatra! Someone's on the hot track!" Rafe laughed. "I just think great minds think alike, or in this case just one great mind," Rafe said as he pointed to himself, "While yours...eeeeeh, I'd say mediocre." Rafe was totally joking. It was nice to kid around with Carter again.

"Mă, să participe?" Rafe asked. "Hmm...maybe? I think it would be a good way to intimidate the little blokes!" Rafe looked around the common room to see if there was any competition, and maybe there was...

Rafe spotted a youngin' in one of the chairs reading only the best book in the world. "Oy!" Rafe shouted as he through a pillow at the young one. "You trying out young doamnă?"

Carter laughed. "Riiighhtt... I do believe I'm the one that attended classes." he said. "Which makes me the one with the great mind."

"Intimidation? Why Rafe, I think you've been around Marilyn too much." he said laughing.

"Oh. Ha. Ha. Who needs brains, when you got brawn and the obvious good looks," Rafe said as he showed off his guns.

Rafe laughed at his little comment about Marilyn. "Well, she certainly knows how to leave an impression. I think in the case of Quidditch, intimidation is a necessary and good thing."

Nicolette quietly slipped into the common room to take a peek. It was so warm and inviting; comforting. She looked around to see quite a few people in conversation. She was eager to make friends.

"Well, how do you like the common room?" Rex asked Nicolette. "So did you enjoy the feast?' Rex asked Nicolette. " Hello all to a new term" Rex told everyone.

"Well it is very uneventful." he said with a smile.

"Just the usual stuff to do around the turf, like Spring Festival and all." he said and then nodded. "Yes, it is good to be back. So, you going to try out for Quidditch this term?" he added.

Ginny walked into the Common Room feeling very excited about the new year at Hogwarts. "Yay", she said with excitment and sat down on an armchair near the fire wondering if anyone would join her to have a little chat.

"Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration are the two classes I'm looking forward to the most." Adelyn answered.

First off there are many different things that I'm looking for. The players must do well in school, attend classes and most of all be a good role model.

Right now you have nothing to fear for right now only the sign up sheet is posted and you can find that Here. Just follow what it says and then submit your name. I will in a few days let you all know when I plan to stop taking students names for the try outs and then i'll give you all the dates for the Try-out days and times.

Kate followed the Prefect girl to the Gryffindor´s Common Room. She was amazed with the moving stairs and all the pictures on the walls, the ceiling, everything!
She couldn´t close her mouth, just look like a fish
"Some time I MUST make a little tour throughout this floors, they are amazing" she thought with enthusiasm. She was almost jumping when they reached the Room´s door, or whatever it was. The only thing that Kate could peep was a large picture of a fat woman in a pink big dress.
Then the Prefect explained about the Fat Lady and the passwords..."That wasn´t complicated" Kate thought "I just have to remember the ubication of the Common Room and the password..Great!"
She was sooo exited! "I want to get in, I want to get in..." She repeated over and over again in her mind.
Kate crossed the entrance and found a big room. It was confortable and homelike, the best of the best.

There were a lot of people. She scanned the room looking for the girls she met in the table...
"Oh, there´s Nicolette!" She thought, and then shouted waving her left arm: "Nicolette, here, it´s Kate". She walked where Nicol was and sat down "How are you doing? Do you know our classes timetable?"

''The master has come!'' Josh yellled cherfully as he almost jumped in the common room from the portrait hole. He was, as usual, all energetic and hyper, so he ran to the middle of the place and looked at everyone with a huge smirk on his face. ''Now, who wants to play, hmm?'' blink blink

Cleo turned her head at the sound of a lively character to say the least. She looked around for a moment and then laughed.Not even trying to hide her amusement. She looked at the boy and paused."Play?"she laughed.She frowned lightly and turned around on the stool she was sat on.She hadnt met this boy, but then again, he did look a little older than her. She paused for a moment,and then looked back to the game she was playing. She was playing the game of Chess.Something she wasnt that good at if she was completely honest with herself.

Kate was resting quietly in a puff next to the fireplace when a boy came out of the portrait hole and shouted to everybody. "OMG! How noisy is he!" She thought, "I like it"
And with a smile in her face she got up and asked the boy "Hi, I´m Kate. What kind of game do you want to play?"

"I-i-it's lovely! Seems so easy to get lost though. The food was delicious!"


"Hello again Kate! I'm good, just taking everything in really. It's amazing really! Oh my, I actually don't, umm..." Nicolette frantically looked around the common room for someone that may know the answer to Kate's question. "Anyone know where we can find out what classes we're supposed to be in?

''Oooo yes play'' the boy quickly replied the girl who seemed to be a little quizzical about that word 'play'. ''Like chocolate catch. You know it? Of course you don't because i made it up. Hehehehe'' and once his laughter was over he turned to the other girl who seemed to be a firstie. Ah, Josh liked firsties.

''Hi Kate!'' he yelled again for no reason ''And i am Joshua, master of everything'' *nod nod* he surely was. ''It's nice to meet you girls. The game i am talking about is chocolate catch.'' he took a Honeydukes chocolate out his pocket. ''I'll throw this in the and everyone tries to hit it by spitting. If you hit it, you get it.'' ooooh cool!

He looks like a fun person. Perhaps I should say hello.. [B]"Ello there! My names Nicolette Fensworth, first year!"

"Ok. Well of course. Want to make sure we're defending champions again next year."she replied, with a mischievous smirk."So, are you trying out this year?"

"Very nice. I love DADA and oddly Potions. I'm really good at both."she told Adelyn, nudging her playfully.

" Hello jason's cousin" Rex told Ginny. " You know I think you might be ripe for some tickling" Rex said to Ginny. " You are a great friend and person" Rex explained to Ginny.

" Kate and Nicolette, I know how you find about classes" Rex told them. " kate, ny the way, my name is Rex Trigwell, a friend of Nicolettes" he said to her. " There is a bulletin board where all the classes are posted" Rex explained to Nicolette and Kate.
