'Not to worry sounding like fish is not bad'' Josh responded quickly. ''Fish is a pretty creature. What would you do if it sounded like a troll?'' Hehehehe ''That definitely would not fit a girl like you'' then he started to laugh yet when mentioning the word 'troll' reminded him the day that Professor Kazi turned him into a dwarf troll, his laugh faded.

That day was not good and he was the master of horrible smellt creatures. Eww. His charisma was under zero and hopefully not much girls saw him in that shape. Focusing back on the girl he smiled again as he unwrapped one of the chocolate frogs ''Is there anything i am not a master of?'' the boy repeated Finn's question ''Lemme think'' he looked up for a second then back at her ''Okay i thought and i don't think there's such a thing''

Jayce walked into the common room with Opal bounding after him. He had just taken her for her evening walk and she was ready for playtime. He scooped her up into his arms and craddled her. But she wouldn't have it. She began to bark. He quickly shushed her and put a hand over her snout, but she, being the stubborn pup that she is, continued her barking. He sighed, as he looked around him and hoped she wouldn't wake or disturb anyone.

" Hi, I am Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself. " I was not sleeping so your pup did not wake me up" Rex told Him. " How old is she and what is her name?" Rex asked the boy. " I have seen you around the grounds but it seems we are always with other freinds and too bust to talk to each other" Rex said to him. Rex took the bandage off his nose and the nose almost looks normal
now.

"Well.. hello!" Ella said to Rex kindly, but then he started crying. "Whoa, Rex, are you okay?" she asked him concernedly, taking a glance at Carter uneasily.

"Fine, I surrender," Ella smiled, putting her hands up and pretending to wave a white flag.

Then he asked her about where she'd been. Then the whole sad expression came over her again, and she didn't reply at first. Quietly she thought, hoping that her father would get better, all the hasty letters Hunter had written, the nights she had spent crying in the girl's dorm. She needed to tell Carter.. she couldn't hold it in much longer. She'd started crying in front Evan, but she didn't want to in front of Carter. In a bit of a choked voice, she said, "My father.. he's not well.." It didn't sound complete enough, but she'd keep elaborating slowly as the words came.

" My girlfreind and I are having lots of trouble lately" Rex told Elaa. We are probably about to break-up Rex told Ella. "After what happened to my nose, she went and helped someone that got hurt that is my enemy a long with his girlfiend, no, I just ran into the wall, that is why I broke my nose" Rex's voice trailed off.

"Thanks guys" said Brayden, "I'm sure after all this moving another one wouldn't be so bad. I'm thinking of sending an owl to Asher, the boy from the orphanage. I'm sure the school owls could find him. I'm not sure if he'd remember me though. What do you guys think?" Brayden liked the idea of getting to know Nessa and Lia better, they would be seeing each other a lot this year. They both seemed friendly, and interesting.

Carter laughed until Ella's expression changed. "What? Really?" he asked. He thought her dad was getting better. He reached over and took her hands in his. "What's going on?" he asked with a face full of concern.

Jay looked up as he heard a voice. "Hi." he replied. "I'm Jayce Cannon, a pretty recent transfer student." he chuckled slightly as he extended a hand to Rex. "It's nice to meet you." Jay said. "Oh, good. I'm glad she didn't. She usually doesn't get riled up this much, especially at night time." he shrugged. "She's nearly five months old and her name's Opal." he grinned as scratched the barking puppy behind the ears. "Oh, right. I think i remember seeing you as well." he replied with a nod of his head. "What happened to your nose? Are you alright?" he asked curiously, hoping he wasn't being rude.

"Ugh, that sucks," Ella said sympathetically, "I've been having my own troubles," she added wearily. She had been most out of everything and it made it just a little better to know that she wasn't the only sad person in the whole school. "Do you need to go to the Hospital Wing?" she asked him.

Ella was looking down as she kept speaking. "Hunter wrote me a letter a while ago asking how I was doing, and we were corresponding for a while, but then he started writing about how Dad's health was getting a bit worse. Suddenly he had to go to the Hospital and I don't know what's going on. I'm so worried.. I've been staying up in here for a long time." Obviously. She'd been in a sort of cheery mood today when Carter came. And he seemed to be the only one anyway who could cheer her up. But he had a right to know, still, why she had been absent from classes, Quidditch, and most of the ball. She appreciated his gesture of taking her hand, because somehow it comforted her. But there was a nagging fear in her head saying that her father's health was not getting better at the moment. She had to keep waiting for Hunter's letters, though, and see where things were from there.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Carter said. "Is he at a muggle hospital?" he asked. He could write to his parents and see if they could help in that case.

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked her. He wasn't sure what else he could offer her but comfort.

Ella sighed. "That's the thing, I have no clue," she said to Carter. "Hey, would you come with me to the Owlery? To, you know, see if there are any new letters?" she asked him softly.

"Well.. I don't know. There isn't much to say," she said, quietly again.

"Absolutely." Carter said to her. "Whatever you want me to do I'm here for you." he said.

"If you'd like I can owl my parents and find out if he's in a muggle hospital." That way she'd at least know where he was. "And if he's not at a muggle hospital he'd be at St. Mungo's."

" Well hello Jayce" Rex told him.. "So what was your last school?" Rex asked Jayce. " Well Opal s " Rex told Jayce.eems like a nice puppy and she is probably nervous around everyone here" Rex explained to Jayce. "Are you nervous girl?" Rex asked Opal. " Glad you remember seeing me and my nose is ok, thanks" Rex told Jayce.

" Well, Ella, we just might have to cry in a butterbeer together" Rex told her. "So how can such a really cute girl like you have boy troubles?" Rex asked Ella. "All the boys should flocl to you" Rex said to Ella.." No, I do not n eed the hospital wing" Rex smiled a freindly smile at Ella.

"Thank you," Ella said, smiling genuinely for the first time in weeks. She looked him in the eye, then got up to get ready to go.

"Yes! That's perfect. Mom and Dad work at St. Mungo's anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if he were there, but Hunter's been hinting at it being a different sort of condition. We'll see," Ella shrugged.

Ella smiled. "Whatever you need," she said. Then she laughed at his comment. "You're quite the charmer," she chuckled, "But it's not exactly boy problems. It has to do with.. my dad," she said a little sadly.

"No need for the Hospital Wing? Good. Does it hurt?" Ella asked.

Lexi came trotting down the stairs from her dormitory and into the Commom Room still in her pyjamas. With a heavy sigh she plopped down into an armchair near the fire. Why had she gone and said such stupid things to Sabel? She was sure she had ruined her friendship with him. Gah! WHat a terrible evening that had been.

LEaning her head back she shut her eyes and threw an arm across her face. Angsty teen alert!

Scrubbing his face with one hand, Sabel slowly used his other hand to push himself up a little from the couch he was sprawlled on, and off of the book he had done a faceplant of sleep upon. A few blinks were required to remove some of the spots from his vision, and to figure out what had woke him up; not that he should have been sleeping anyways. His eyes slowly moved about the common room until they landed on the girl newly deposited on the arm chair by the fire. Another blink and he cast his eyes back to the still blurry letters of his page. Alexa. He had absolutely no idea what to say, or if he should say anything at all.

Lexi kind of FELT someone looking at her and dropped the arm covering her eyes and looked around... Sabel. She narrowed her eyes momentarily and then looked into the fire as if expecting someone to Floo in. She was NOT going to speak to him first. She had more pride than that... entirely too much pride. He had REALLY hurt her little feelings and she was not going to apologize for her running off on him. Besides she was thinking maybe she should let Dylan have a talk with the boy. Heh.

Daisy walked into the commons and kept her ehad down. She was shy and quiet no one noticed her walking through the halls or sitting at the table during any of the meals. She didn't like the silence but wasn't going to be the one to break it first.

From the corner of his eyes, he could see Alexa look over and then back at the fire. So she had noticed. A small breath left him as he scrubbed his face again. "You okay? I don't normally see you up at this time of night." Despite the awkwardness, he couldn't help but be genuinely concerned.

Lexi stiffened as he spoke. Looking at him harshly she said, "Why do you care?" He was not allowed to pretend he cared when he had made her feel so terrible. Mean boy! Mean, mean boy!

Then with a sigh she turned in the chair some so she could fling her legs over the arm and face him slightly and said simply, "Nightmares." It happened nearly every night, but she was particularly disturned by this one... when she had tried her hardest to hex SAbel over and over again. Seeing herself doing these things was terrible to relive.

Sabel flinched a little at her words, but Alexa being Alexa they were sort of expected. When she admitted that she had been kept awake by bad dreams, probably about last year as he had suspected, he shifted into a sitting position, concern lathering his face. "Nightmares....you want to talk about them? How often do they happen?" He guessed, regularly and it made his gut twist with anger. Remi had done enough damage last year, but he was still managing to extend his hands to some of the students even when he wasn't physically present.

She sighed a little and looked at him. Concern was clear on his face but she was still a little bitter toward him. "It was when I was trying to hex you in the Entrance Hall... it happens almost every night actually. Not that particular dream. I suppose my anger toward you stemmed that one," she said curtly. Gah! Why was he such an idiot? Couldn't he see she was RIGHT for him. All that babble about platonic feelings was a load of hogwash.

She wasn't sure whether she should storm off and go back up the stairs to her dorm or sit and talk some more. Grrrr. She hated the feeling of rejection... it was new to her.

Sabel's frown deepend and he pulled his legs under him, lightly holding his ankles as he watched her. "Every night..." For a few moments he considered the fire, trying to imagine what it would be like to have nightmares every single night. "That...must be exhausting..."

He didn't bother touching the subject about her anger towards him; she could be angry at him all he wanted, he didn't particularly care right now. He just cared about her well being. "Are...there nights when you don't have them?" He shook his head a little and looked back at her. "I mean, I know you said every night, but have there been occassions when they don't occur?"

"Well if you like a butter beer with me , a friend, I would be very happy" Rex told Ella." Oh, I do not think I am a charmer, just a nice person" Rex said to Ella. " I have always thought you are cute since I met you " Rex explained to Ella. " Do you need anyone just to talk to about your dad or is there something wrong, like an illness?" Rex asked Ella. " Yes it hurts but talking to you made me forget about the hurt and the nose" Rex smiled at Ella.

" I do not know you, do I?" Rex asked the shy girl. " My name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself. "So how do you like HogWarts?" Rex asked her.

"Exhausting is not the word for it. I have lost so much weight from lack of appetite that I can barely fit into any of my clothes. I have been sending them,... home... to have Dylan's mom magically alter them for me," she mumbled.

She thought really hard on whether there were nights that she didn't have nightmares... "Well since the Denver's adopted me and everything it isn't every night, but since I came back here they are more vivid," she said quietly as she got lost in thought.
