Nessa waited as Brayden grabbed her sketchbook. She looked at the time and couldn't believe how much time has passed, talking with both, Brayden and Lia, were so much fun that time is flying by. Brayden came back with a sketchbook that was pretty big and red, 'I wonder if she filled it yet' Nessa thought. Brayden soon than handed the sketchbook and she began flipping through the pages in shock. The last time she see an artist sketch this nice, was her uncle who is now working in Graphic Designing. Nessa turned to Brayden, "Brayden. These are amazing! You sure do have a talent for drawing and I am completely impressed." Nessa said looking through the pages more, she lifted her head to look at Lia, "Lia, I have to see some of your sketches now" Nessa said with a smile.
After looking through the sketches, she passes it to Lia. "Wow five different places?" Nessa exclamied "Wasn't it hard to move from school to school? I know that was the hardest part for me, moving to Hogwarts. I loved my muggle school and wish I could have stayed there but I guess I would have to say that I love it here to most now." finishing her sentence with a huge smile.

Sabel ran his hands down his face and let out a heavy breath. "Alexa...it was an acknowledgement." If she wanted to hear a grunt, he could show her what a grunt sounded like. "I missed you too. I did." He ran his hands down his face again, trying to figure out how to word his thoughts. "Just...I've had a lot on my mind. There's been a lot to process." He turned his eyes to her. "If I didn't care, I wouldn't have written."
Hell of a lovely acknowledgement she thought to herself and pushed herself up from the sofa. Looking down at him she put her hands on her hips and said, "Yeah, sorry that my coming back is such a difficult thing for you to process... Sorry if I caused some kind of PROBLEM with my being back then, Sabel. I thought you, of all people, would be happier to see me than anyone else and I had hoped that the bad things wouldn't matter anymore seeing as I had NO CONTROL OVER THEM!"
Oh yeah he had struck a nerve with her for sure. She knew she promised not to get angry with him, but hell... he deserved it. She didn't understand why he was so... Grrrr. With a little toss of her hair she turned on her heel and marched off toward the stairs to her dormitory. Right before turning out of sight she called out over her shoulder, "Thanks for the letter, it was inspiring." Then she was gone.

Honestly and trully...facepalm. A heavy, frustrated breath left Sabel as he scrubbed the slight sting that a palm to his face had caused. She had completely and totally misinterpreted what he was talking about. Of course he didn't care what she had done under the curse, as far as he could remember, that had been all he had said to her at the end of the semester. Perhaps, she didn't even register that the kisses she had given him before she had run to Dylan, and before she had left to Mungo's had left him a little confused and hurt.
Scrubbing his face once more he dropped his hands and fell back against the couch. Perhaps she just didn't understand that he would never do anything to hurt her. Tilting his head back, he glanced up the stairs. Or perhaps he was just messed up. Something.

Jayce walked into the common room with Opal sleeping in his arms. He took in a deep breath as he looked around. So this was Jay's new common room. It was a whole lot nicer than that of the American common rooms. But hey, it seemed like everything was nicer here. He walked over to an empty seat that looked rather comfortable and sat down slowly as to not wake the little pup. He grinned down at her. His partner in crime seemed so tired. But hey- puppies need their sleep too.

Brayden smiled as Nessa and Lia looked through her sketchbook. Her whole history was in there, it sort of felt like an autobiography. She was delighted when they told her how great her sketches were. "Wow, thanks guys! I've really only showed them to a few people before. You really think they're good?" she exclaimed. "I'm not all to good with guitar either, especially considering I can'tread music. Moving all the time really sucks actually. I still can't believe how I'm going to be able to attend this school for an entire seven years! I made some friends in various places, but none were too close, because I always ended up leaving.
Let's see, from Arizona I moved to Maine, where I lived in a cabin in the mountains for about a year with a pretty nice family. I even had a foster sister named Taegan, but then they decided to go on this 5 year long backpacking trip. I spent that summer with an elderly lady, who basically sent me away to camp for the whole summer, that's where I learned to surf. Unfortunately that ended up being her last summer so staying there was no longer an option. The next two years I was in an orphanage, which just didn't work for me at all. It's way too confined and boring. I eventually caused enough trouble that they kicked me out. The next year and a half I lived in an apartment with this family that had like 5 kids. They didn't totally hate me, but they kicked me out for being a bad babysitter, and then I moved to New York.
So that's my life in five minutes, I did make some good friends. I was pretty close with this guy named Asher at the orphanage. We used to get into trouble together, and pretty much the only good memories I have from there are with him. But anyway, sorry if I'm boring you, I'm kind of a talkative person.
Carter entered the Common Room clutching the snitch Marie had given her. He still couldn't believe that she had given him something that was so special to her. Smiling he collapsed into one of armchairs. Looking across from him he spotted Ella. With her eyes closed. Smirking he tossed a pillow at her. "Wake up sleepyhead. It's the middle of the day." he teased.

"Wow... sounds complicated Brayden," Lia said sweetly. "Its a pity you had to move so much... but look at the great sketches you've mad because of it! I will show you mine some day! I just have to wait for Arabelle, thats my older sister, to send it to me. I left it at home." she said, puting slightly.

"Puh. Well you just take different classes then," Ella laugh-argued. But she knew that she hadn't been going lately because of the owls her parents and Hunter had been sending her. She'd been off the pitch as well, and she wondered if anyone noticed it. But her absence from everything would just stay secret until someone asked her. Listening now to Carter's comment, she said, "Really? Name a girl who'd like this look." She poofed up his hair a little more and smacked it with the pillow for perfection. "Mwah! My masterpiece.."

Nessa listened intensively to Brayden's story, 'That has to be unhealthy, always moving different places. I've lived in Hawaii my whole life.' she thought. Nessa than looked at Brayden, "You didn't bore us with your story, it was actually interesting to here from your point of view. I didn't know you moved so much, it's seems like you've practically moved all around the USA. I'm pretty sure it's been hard at times but you have found home, which is here at Hogwarts." She said reassuring her that she does have a family who could be permanate.

Nessa said as she thought about how her mom sends her books almost every other week. "I like to do a lot of writing, and I agree with you, being here at Hogwarts and being around stuff that I didn't find normal, would increase my technique of writing. I wonder what the student newspaper is called, I would love to write for the students of Hogwarts." She said thinking about ways to she could get into contact with the school newspaper.

Hearing Nessa reassure Brayden that she had a family here at Hogwarts, Lia felt it necessary to chip in. "With our simliarities," she said, "I wouldn't be at all surprised if we became as close as sisters by the end of our seven years. I feel so close to you both already!" She then turned to Nessa, "Yeah I'm a bookworm, a big one. My favourite genre is fantasy, kind of ironic considering I'm a witch. And I'll keep a look out for any notices about a newsletter team. It would be so cool if you joined!"
Rexcame intp the common room. His nose was red and he has a cold compress on it to stop from getting swollen. He hopes who did this to him loses 100 points from their house and gets detention for three weeks. Rex hopes someone may help him here.
Finn wandered into the Common Room. Well, if you want to be more acqurate, stumbled. Her centre of balance had never been good, and it seemed that the addition of a fat black cat in her arms certainly wasn't helping her remain upright. It was sleeping, its large, fluffy head resting against her chest, its paws poking at the air above and its long, ruffled tail curled about its feet.
It stirred as the redhead sat down on one of the sofas; the cat let out a lazy mew, nuzzling its head against her stomach, repositioning itself so it was curled up in a more...common position.
This was Mess. He was Finn-Stella's cat. The Gryffindor laughed - that beautiful, wind-chime laugh - and peered down at the over-sized fluffball snoozing in her lap. Her friend. One of three. She smiled again, wistful, as she looked over at the empty fireplace.

Finn's smile grew as she watched a boy of about her age wander about the Common Room. It was like he was looking for something - Mess yawned in his direction; even watching people move made the fat cat tired.
The redhead shot an amused grin in her cat's direction, before looking back up again to find that the boy had given up and instead had sat down beside her. Yup, definitely about her age, maybe older? It was hard to tell - her mind had suddenly switched its interest to a large bumblebee buzzing in the corner. Pwetty bumblebee.
She started as he spoke to her - thankfully Mess didn't stir - and clumsily tried to reposition herself on the sofa. "I don't think I've seen you before either." The redhead laughed; "I'm Finn."

Yawning a little, Josh looked at the girl and smiled at her. Then the boy's eyes moved to the cat on her lap. Perhaps that cat ate his chocolate. Who knew? It seemed to be so fat after all. But did cats eat chocolate? He was not sure. He did not know what cats liked to eat.
''And i am Joshua...'' he replied finally looking back at the girl. She seemed to be of his age and he thought he knew everyone in his year. Weird and interesting. ''...master of anything you can imagine'' the Gryffindor boy completed his sentence looking all confident again. ''By the way, dear lady, do you happen to have a little bit of chocolate hmm?''

Finn smiled back it him, absently scratching Mess' head as she did so. The cat let out a loud sigh, flexing his paws and shoving his face into his stomach.
"Nice to meet you, Joshua." the redhead said, a small laugh escaping her mouth at his not-very-modest description of himself. This boy seemed funny. And his name was nice too. Joshua. It sounded like...moshupa...*facepalm*
Chocolate? She frowned in thought, tapping the bottom of her chin, before reaching down to her bag. Mess, inevitably, didn't stir. She reappeared with a small paper bag clutched tightly in her fist. She held it out to him. Inside it, was half a dozen chocolate frogs. "Is this good enough for you, oh great master-of-everything-I-can-imagine?" She grinned at him, Mess simultaneously letting out another yawn.

Then he started to laugh loudly without paying attention if anyone was studying and might be annoyed at that. Meh. He did not care. He took two of the chocolate frogs from the bag and handed it back to the girl grinning at her repeating one of his honorable titles. ''Thank you, Finny. I think that is quite enough for the master. By the way can i call you Finny, Finn?''

Bwahahaha! The master of names?! Was there anything this Joshua wasn't a master of? Yes. She liked this boy, and his master-of-all-thingsness-ness. And her name was interesting; she was proud of it."Sounds a bit like a fish..." She grinned, "Dontcha think?" N'aww, fishies. She liked fish. *shnuggles imaginary fish*
FINNY?! Well, that was a new one. And, oddly enough, she kinda...liked it? Finny... Yeah. It wasn't too bad. She grinned at him, taking the bag back and grabbing a chocolate frog for herself. Mess blinked, his green eyes suddenly fixed on the candy in her hand. "Finny?" She laughed, "Odd, but...I like it! It seems you really are the Master of Names." She laughed again. "Is there anything you aren't master of?"
