Sky cocked a signature eyebrow. "It's also called I'm sorry," she sighed, taking a seat next to her. "I didn't think you'd take it THAT seriously, though."

" Well, I can't wait til we have fun " Rex told Adelyn. " I will help you drive the boys crazy" Rex said to Adelyn.

" Sorry, it is Sky Sterling" Rex corrected himself. " I bet you are good at Divination" Rex said to Sky. "What other classes do you like?' Rex asked Sky.

" Hello, my name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to the new girl. "So did you try out for Quidditch?" Rex asked her. " I bet you are good at Quidditch' Rex said to her.

" Whoa, let's save the energy for the Quidditch game" Rex told Sky and the other girl. " I thought a saw a picture of you and Sky in an album Jason Potter Weasley has in his castle" Rex explained to both of them. " I thought you two were friends by the pictures Jason and Excelscior took at the castle" Rex said to both girls.

" Its fine" she told Sky. But she was still a little mad. Lets not start a new year with drama she told herself. " Hi, I'm Alex Waters, and yes... my sisters a good friend of his, we were at his costume party together" she said indicatingherself and Maddie.

" Hello Alex" Rex told her. "Is Alex short dor Alexandra " Rex asked her. " Oh, you and your sister know Jason, too" Rex said to Alex. " I am glad I met you, you are a very nice girl" Rex gave a friendly smile to Alex.

Narcissa dragged her self through the portrit hole. "Ugg, I missed tryouts again," she muttered, dragging herself to the girls dormitory.

Adelyn just laughed. "We'll have lots of fun." She replied, still laughing. "Me? Drive them crazy? I'm not so sure about that!" Adelyn grinned, giggling.

" Fun is what it is all about for you " Rex told Adelyn. " I will drive the boys crazy for you" Rex laughed. " I will pretend to be your protective big brother" Rex said to Adelyn.

"Yup, that's because fun is awesome." Adelyn said, grinning. "Oh goodness, please don't!" She laughed.

" Well fun and a social life is what is up ahead for both of us friends" Rex told Adelyn. " Oh, I will be nice to any boy you like, but he better not treat my friend wrong' Rex said to Adelyn.Deal?" Rex asked Adelyn.

"That's good. I can't wait." Adelyn smiled brightly at Rex. "Okay, deal." She responded, nodding her head and laughing.

" I have asked my friend and Kay's cousin, jason Potter Weasley if you could come to his castle, he saod yes" Rex Told Adelyn. " Kay and I are still kind of having trouble and I thought you could talk to her about me or talk to her about relationships, since you knew a lot of boys" Rex explained to Adelyn. " Look out, boys, men, Adelyn snd Rex are coming" he said laughing..

Roxxy walked down the stairs from the girls dormitories and into the Lions common room. With a slight headache and an undissapering pile of homework to finish it i her heavy back pack. Plucking herself down into one of the many comfy chairs the blond haired haired girl, disgruntedly pulled up her arithmancy text book and a parchment. Roxxy had loved Professor Hadley's lesson but calculating numbers wasn't going to be easy. In the lesson she had had help but now she was on her own. With her quill in one hand and her eyes in the textbook Roxxy got to work.

"Yeah, I can talk to Kay. I'm not so sure if she'll listen to what I have to say, but I'll try my best." Adelyn said, nodding her head, laughing.

Carter entered the common room and sat down in one of the comfy chairs. Looking over he saw someone a bit younger than him doing arithmancy. That reminded him that he also needed to start working on homework. "How's it coming?" he asked. "Is the assignment hard?"

Josiah looked over at a girl doing the same homework he'd just finished and a guy talking to her. "I just finished that a few minutes ago," he said to her. "How's it coming along?" To both of them, he added, "I'm Josiah, by the way."

" Well, I would appreciate you talking to Kay' Rex told Adleyn. "So how come I have not seen you on the grounds lately? " Rex asked Adelyn. " how are the boys going to like you and be afraid of me?" Rex asked Adelyn laughing.

"I'll talk to her." Adelyn said reassuringly. "I don't know, I guess I've been a little busy, with schoolwork and everything. I plan to get out on the grounds more soon. Hopefully today." She laughed.

[Hearing a voice who seemed to be talking to her Roxxy raised her head to look at the boy sitting in the opposite chair. "Its coming okay..I think. Just not sure if i've done all the calculations correct." Shrugging slightly she placed her quill down on the table next to her along with the heavy arithmancy textbook. "The assignment isn't difficult its just i have to do a reading of a professor..I don't know who to ask.."Remembering her manners Roxxy said "I'm Roxanna by the way..or Roxxy for short. Second year."

As another guy came over Roxxy smiled up at him saying "Pleased to meet you, Josiah! I'm Roxanna." With a glance over at her calculation covered parchment she mumbled "It goes well i think. But i'm not sure if two different calculations can lead to the same number." Did that make any sense? She wasn't sure but it sounded right..

"Hey Josiah." Carter said. "I'm Carter."

"Yeah. I haven't decided yet if that extra credit is worth it." Carter said. Five points for finding a Professor guinea pig? "I'm Carter." he said introducing himself. Roxanna?" he asked taking a piece of parchment out of his robes. He was looking for a Roxanna. "Are you by chance Roxanna De Rivera?" he asked looking down at the parchment. It was his assignment for The Quill. He was supposed to be working on the sports section with a 'Roxanna De Rivera.'

"Well, Kay would love your visit" Rex told Adelyn. "Well, a lot of us have been busy doing homework" Rex said to Adelyn. "I will see you on the grounds for sure today" Rex explained to Adelyn.

"Yeah, it's definitely a lot of work, but I'm loving being here!" Adelyn explained, "Of course you will." She grinned.

Furrowing her forehead Roxxy asked blinking "Not worth it? Don't you think the professor's would help us?" Weird, but after the swamp incident she was biased considering she couldn't have gotten out without a professor's help. Beaming at him Roxxy said "Pleased to meet you Carter! And yes, I'm Roxanna De Rivera." How could he know her name? Carter had read it off a piece of parchment though. As is dawned on her she said knowing her assumption was correct "You're in the school quill too right?"

Carter shrugged. "I'm sure they would, but I'd have no idea who to ask." he explained. And plus, there were hundreds of students and not that many Professors. Would all of them really want their reading done that many times.

"Yup." he said with a smile. "Looks like we'll be partners in crime... or writing..." he said. "Oh, and I wanted to give you something." he said pulling out his wrapped cupcake from charms. "I'm muggleborn, so I've made cupcakes before." he said hoping that that would encourage her to take it. He'd always been good at making desserts.

" This how I stop you from working" Rex told Adelyn. Rex tickled Adelyn. " Glad you will be around the grounds" Rex explained to Adelyn.

Jason was still depressed about the breakup but knew that it was for Reed's owngood. She would be able to find someone who loved her more than he did easily. He sighed and wondered if it was the right thing to do.
