Theo hopped through the entrance to the Common Room and was imediately aware of the various conversations taking place already. Obviously he wasn't the only student who was taking a quick break between classes. He didn't see anyone he'd recognized from the opening feast so he scanned for an open chair. Many of the chatter he was made it sound like most of the students didn't have as good an experience as he did on their first class of the term. Was he the only one who was able to gain Gryffindor points?

"Quidditch, which boys are the cutest, busy busy busy, bad day, tired....." Theo heard all kinds of snippets of what the others where saying as he eyed a chair that was a bit seperated from the others. He grabbed a torn copy of the Daily Prophet from the end tabel and sat down to watch the pictures on the second page chase each other around. It seems that another person had been caught trying to scoff some merchandise from the joke shop in Diagon Alley.

"and the officers from the Department of Magical Law Enforcement had repeatedly told Mr. Davenport to put back the rubber chicken. Mr. Davenport kept insisting the chicken was his pet 'Roger' and that he'd brought it to the store thinking it was an animal healers shop......." Theo read on, trying to conceal a chuckle.

Lucy entered and took a seat fo herself and began reading one of her library books she had got to complete her homework. The day was abit of boring but she didn't bother that much and began with her work, she thought it would had been great if she could find any of her friend in the room.

" I guess all you can do is take your medicine for Asthma" Rex told Nicolette."Well, I love good challenges" Rex said to Nicolette. "Want to make a side bet?' Rex asked her. " Kay and I are just fine now" Rex smiled.

" Hello there" Rex told the girl reading the book. I am Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to her. " Homework assignment reading, right?' Rex asked her.

"I didn't know you danced." Ainra said, smiling at Rex. "That's awful about your shoulder though. Did you play for the house team?"

Reed walked into the common room in tears. She was not going to cry about this, and she wiped her eyes quickly. Jason was not hers anymore, he was Avery's. She sighed, and sat down at one of the couches by the fire. She grabbed out a book on Arithmancy. As she began to read, she did not nitce Jason sweep through the door, and stand behind her. She flipped a page, and added a heavy sigh.

Sky marched into the common room, day dreaming about her new broom... Maddie had promised her one, and she couldn't stop thinking about it. She sat down on a nearby arm chair, and starting working on homework. Sky's fingers fumbled, and her scroll fell at the feet of a fifth year, talking to a first year she'd seen before.

Jason chased Reed into the common room and heaved a heavy sigh. This was Reed- when things didn't go her way. He pulled up behind her and thought about what he would say. He finally talked. "Reed, I know things haven't gone as planned today, but this is more complicated than you think. We get in way too much trouble when were together and it would be better this way." Yes, it was more complicated than she thought. He was sad for her- sad that she was probably thinking about their first kiss- he was angry how she said she still loved Thomas. Maybe she did- there was no telling. "Do you still love Thomas?" He asked gently, reaching for her shoulders to rub them, but pulling back,
remembering they weren't together anymore.
Jason and Reed.
He remebered when he said forever and always, and he frowned. She looked cute when she was sad. Why didn't he love her anymore? Did he even care? He knew she didn't, considering she said she'll go out with Thomas again.
"If you want to go out with someone who'll hurt you, fine. Go out with Thomas. I don't care." He turned to leave.

"No Jase, I want you, only you. But who do YOU want? Me or Avery?!" She started to cry, and knew that he was stronger than her. Everyone was staring, but she did not notice, and she did not care. "You act like you want me, but throw me away. Your soul and heart haunt me, and it is not going away. And I cry, and I scream, but I know you don't care about me. So just leave, walk out the door. Because I cannot stand you anymore." She sighed, and felt better. "And I do love you!" She sat down, ignoring everything that Jason would have to say.

"Well I won ballroom dances while at SweetWater, Texas" Rex told Ainra. " i love to do ballroom dances" Rex explained to Ainra. "Actually, I had been trying out for the SweetWater All- Stars young team" Rex said to Ainra. " No, never made the house team last term and this term, my shoulder problem" Rex smiled at Ainra.

"Did you drop this young lady?' Rex asked her. " Oh, I think I met yo at the lake" Rex said to Sky. " Your name is Sky Starling, right?" Rex asked her,. "So what homework are you doing?" Rex asked Sky.

Jessica entered the Common room holding her cupcake. She was waiting for somebody to share it with.

Kate entered the common room and saw Jessy 'hi! I was hoping to see u here..." she said to her

Hey, Kate! Got to give you something' ... Jessica showed the Cupcake she made from the Charm Class and gave it to her. She smiled.

Jessica was not that close to Kate, She was thinking, that maybe, Giving the cupcake is a good start.

"the cupcake? awwwwwwww your so sweet! thank you!" Kate took the cupcake and took a bite "mmm.. yummy! it tastes really good. I'm sorry I don't have anything to give to you"

"Thanks!" Aww, It's okay!" ...Jessica grinned back. "I just wanted to get closer to my co - grffs ohh, I'm happy to give it to you!" She added. Jessica was so glad to see her smiling.

"I'm very happy to hear it." Adelyn said, nodding her head. "I try to, but it doesn't always work out...it's not like I plan to feel badly about myself, it just happens." She explained. "Well, of course you would think your opinion is the only one that mattered, seeing as it is yours! And I don't care when, anytime is fine. I would very much appreciate their help, too!" Adelyn laughed.

" Well, I knew you would enjoy Nicolette and I being freinds again" Rex told Adelyn. "Well, we wil both see that you feel good aboutyourself all the time" Rex said to Adelyn. " You know I was just teasing you about my opinion being the only one that counted, right?" Rex asked Adelyn. "Well, do not worry, we willl find you a nice boy" Rex explained to Adelyn.

"Yup!" Adelyn nodded happily. "Okay, but just a warning, it's a lot easier said than done." She explained, running her fingers through her hair. "Yes, I know that you were teasing." She laughed. "Okay, awesome." Adelyn replied, smiling brightly.

Sky frowned. "Sterling. It's Sterling."She took the scroll and turned it over to reveal a title. "Just some stuff for Divination."

Alex walked into the common room. She saw a lot of people but not many she recongnized. As she walked around she saw her friend Sky. She waved eagerly and sat next to her. " Hi..." she stopped... to see she just interrupted a conversation between her and some guy. She felt embarrased. Said " Sorry" and started reading her book. She wondered who the guy could be...she didn't see him around...well maybe at the lake she thought she saw him there. Or it could have been somone else. She started reading ehr book. It was a book about Quidditch she got it from her older sister, who is also very intrested in Quidditch.

Sky cocked an eyebrow at Alex. "It's a shame you're spending so much time on a hobby you suck at...."

Alex stared at Sky wondering what had gotten into her. She was more mature than her and knew to jsut be quiet She closed her book and walked away. She was going to the place were she would feel better. SHe didn't know why but being by the lake always made her feel better. SHe decided to read her book there. With out being critized for made-fun off. She smiled at the kid who was talking to Sky. Seeing that she had also gotten mad at him for pronounncing her name wrong.

Sky frowned. Who walks away in the middle of a converstaion? Rude. She huffed indignantly as she quickly caught up to Alex. She frowned again and cocked another eyebrow. "What's up with you?"

" Whats up with me?....I don't know maybe you got confused I said Hi...and by your response you act like i just threatned you. I can see your busy. Sorry for disturbing you. It won't happen again. I promise. Alex said angrily as she tried to walk around Sky and bumped into a first-year, dropping her book. " Sorry" she told the first-year and went to pick up her book.

Sky frowned. "Whaddaya mean? It's called innocent sarcasm, dude."

" No, its called Wildly RUDE" Alex said scowling at her. She picked up he book then walked over to the tabel she was sitting at previously and began reading. She stopped and truned around " Do you mind if I spend my time reading a book about something I suck at?" she said with a smirk on her face. She didn't wait for a reply. And she began reading. She thought to herself If I suck so bad how come she isn't on the team. SHe didn't say that out-loud knowing that was to mean but the thruth. SHes not even on the TEAM! how can she critize me?
