Rafe laughed, "Yes, Vindictus is the flying professor. He's an ex-professional Quidditch professional...I bet he was pretty amazing back in the day!" Rafe smirked at her 'fancy' comment about his broom. "It's Romanian made, with a breaking charm, superb balance and precision, made with Sequoia and oak bristles, and can go from 0 to 220 in ten seconds!" Rafe just seemed to glow. He loved his broom. "It's better than those stupid excuse for a broom, Firebolts!" Rafe now had a new goal for the year and it was to get this firstie on a broom. "All in good time," he said with a crooked grin.

"Greece is definitely my favorite place to visit, there's a lot of history there that's all very fascinating," Rafe took another sip of butterbeer. "That was probably the second language I learned. Romanian, of course... I also can speak Russian, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Bulgarian, some Polish, Hungarian, a little bit of Czech and...hmm, my Dutch is a little iffy. I'm more familiar with the languages of Eastern Europe," Rafe said as he finally took a breath. He probably left out a few. "My mum helped me learn pretty quickly at a young age, so I guess that's why they came easy cause when you're little you're like a sponge." Rafe shrugged. "Oh and she encourage me to read poetry in other languages, so that helped. Bloody Shakespeare," he said as he rolled his eyes.

Rafe was surprised her mum wouldn't let her drink butterbeer. It was only one of the best wizarding beverages ever. "I'm really glad you like it! It's really refreshing," he said as he tilted his head back and gulped down to the last drop of golden liquid.

"I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions, I was just surprised you never had a butterbeer, so I assumed you were muggleborn," Rafe said. "Not that there's anything wrong with being muggleborn....One of my best mates comes from a muggle family, which is pretty cool!" Oh and then the topic of his family, never a comfortable subject. "Umm... well, I'm a pureblood and it's just been my mum and I, until recently," his tone changed to bitterness, "She just got remarried and I became a big brother a couple of months ago. It's been..." how to word it, "Interesting."

He then turned the conversation back to Hogsmeade. "Well, anything really, like magical items such as cameras, deluminators, remembralls, foe-glasses...stuff like that." Rafe think he covered them all, well what he could remember.

"And I insist on buying you one at the Three Broomsticks!" Rafe said. He certainly had the money. "And I'm sure they would be honored to have you in our little circle as well." Rafe laughed. It certainly wouldn't hurt to expand their little group.

"Well, do you think I am mean?' Rex asked Adelyn. Rex can't wait for Adelyn's answer. "Well, it is grat Kay and I are ok again" Rex said to Adelyn. " I wish I could help you find a nice boy" Rex told Adelyn.

"You, mean? Not at all." Adelyn shook her head, sending curls in various directions; she smiled up at him. "Oh...well...I don't really know what boy would want me..." She said, blushing a deep shade of scarlet.

It had been a long, tiring few days. It seemed like every time she wanted to just go sit by the lake, or even in the flower garden, she couldn't even take a break. Nicolette really hadn't had a moment to sit and enjoy the common room much lately. She had so much on her mind; so much work needed to be done.

Nicolette walked into the crawlspace and looked around the common room. Rex. She really didn't know if he'd try to talk to her, in fact, Nicolette felt kind of badly for the whole fight. Maybe she shouldn't have been so hard on him. But hey, Evelyn WAS trying to make things right between them.

She plopped down on an oversized couch with a sigh. What to do, what to do...

"Oh wow. Well that's cool. It would probably be really amazing to see him in a game then. And I want to see you play, so you better make the team." she grinned and listened to him talk about his broom. "That's amazing. I can't believe that it's that fast. Are all brooms like that? or just yours? Did you have to go to Romania to get it? Or did they send it to you?" she asked curiously. "A firebolt... I've heard of that. I think my father had one back when he attended school here.." she trailed off in thought, then shrugged it off.

"Greece? I've always wanted to go there. Well there and Italy. They both have a whole lot of history. And well, i know a lot more about Italy than Greece, but i think i'd like to go there for the adventure at least. Well that and the sights." she replied. "Oh wow. I'm impressed. That's a whole lot of languages. All i know is English and a tad bit of Italian." she shrugged and pet Bloo some more. "Oh, right." she laughed and took another sip of her butterbeer. "I love how you phrased that. We're like sponges when we're little." she giggled. "Ah, poetry. I hate Shakespeare as well. But sadly, that's all my mum allows me to read and because of that, i don't really enjoy reading as much as i probably should."

"It is refreshing. Thanks for giving me some." she grinned and took yet another sip. "I probably wouldn't have tried it at all had i not gotten some now. I'm not one for trying things." she shrugged, thinking about her mum and how strict she could be sometimes.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I really don't mind. Sometimes i'd rather be called a muggleborn. I heard people jump to conclusions because of stereotypes and apparently pureblood is supposed to be snobbish. But i don't think i am.. right?" she asked uncertainly. "Yeah? Well that's cool. I don't think i have a muggleborn friend.. but yet, im not entirely sure because i haven't really asked my friends." she shrugged, as she finished off her butterbeer. "You're a pureblood too? That's cool." And then Cole watched as he seemed to get upset and uncomfortable. "Oh Rafe. I'm sorry. But aren't you happy about being a big brother? I've always wanted a younger sibling.." she trailed off. "Do you have a little sister or a little brother?" she asked curiously.

"Oh, well that's cool. I don't have any of that stuff, so i assume i won't need to go there for that reason. But i think i still want a sneakoscope, so i'll be going there to get that. That's for sure." she grinned.

Cole laughed. "Oh, alright. I give in. You can buy me one. But only if you really want to." she said. "Are you sure?" she asked uncertainly and slightly self conscious. "Well, either way, i think i'd like to meet them."

"Well, I am glad you do not think I am mean at all" Rex told Adelyn. " Hopefully Nicolette will not think I am mean" Rex said to Adelyn. "Well, I am sure lots of boye would like you" Rex smiled at Adelyn. " Would you like me to tell you why?" Rex asked Adelyn.

Rex saw Nicolette. He is worried she hates him and will never talk to him agina. Oh well, here goes. " Hi Nicolette" Rex said to her. " How are you?" Rex asked Nicolette.

"Well, I'm very flattered that you want to see me play, I'm not perfect, but I tend to make a save here and there," Rafe smiled. Whoa, broom question overload, not that he minded at all. "It's a custom made broom. I don't think the U.K. has gotten wind of them yet. But, she... I mean, it's pretty amazing! And I got it over the summer in Romania. Their brooms are by far the best!" This was purely Rafe's opinion, but he didn't care. He was very proud of his roots.

"Italy is beautiful, there's some really amazing beaches, but I have to say I favor Rome," Rafe said of the cliche. "I know it's your typical answer, but like you said there's a lot of history." Rafe like old places. They always had a neat story through every building, every city, just everything. "Well, Shakespeare was a hard read when I was younger, but he began to grow on me. He really knew what he was talking about." Cole was almost completely opposite of Rafe. She didn't like Quidditch or reading. Rafe laughed at the thought, it was a rather refreshing conversation however. "Oh, I am all about trying new things," Rafe responded. "When you travel, you kind of have to. You don't want to insult your hosts."

"I wouldn't say your snobbish at all," Rafe smiled. "I think purebloods are rare nowadays. Well, in England at least. There's quite a few pureblood families across the world, but a bit rare around here."

Cole seemed to see right through Rafe. "I'm not one to really hide my emotions," he answered. "I'm just used to being an only child I guess. I love Aurelia dearly, my little sister that is, I mean we share the same blood, but it's just a weird adjustment." Rafe shrugged, "I don't know...it's just... weird." Rafe bit his lower lip. "Definitely an adjustment to not getting enough sleep," he chuckled. "So any siblings yourself?"

Rafe reached over and patted Cole on the shoulder, "Trust me, one butterbeer, maybe even two isn't going to lighten my pocket much." He chortled. "I think it's settle then! The first day Hogsmeade opens, I'll get the merry band together and we'll all go the Three Broomsticks!"

Nicolette looked at Rex. What would she say? Her voice shook a little.

"Oh, hey there," she said. "Busy.. very busy actually.

Nicolette realized that maybe she shouldn't have yelled at Rex like that. Perhaps she should have thought before acting. But she still knew she was right. She wouldn't say it, but she could think it.

"Rex, I'm sorry for yelling at you like a howler," she began to say. Maybe I shouldn't have blown up the way I did. I'm friends with both you and Evelyn though. And I can almost certainly say nothing was wrong with those cookies. I decorated them, Rex. I would know. But lets put this behind us, you know. To stay freinds?", she said with a slight smile, hoping he would say yes.

"Busy doing homework?" Rex asked Nicolette. " I would love very much to stay friends with you" Rex told Nicolette. " Ok. I will eat anything you make or decorate for me" Rex smiled at Nicolette. " Let's just forget the arguing btween us, ok?" Rex asked Nicolete.

"She won't. I know it." Adelyn said confidently; she really wanted her friends to make up, so they could all be friends. "Sure, tell me why you think that?" Adelyn replied, her cheeks still pink.

" Well, I think Nicolette is coming around to liking me again" Rex told Adelyn.
" Well, you are a nice girl who treats everyone with respecy" Rex said to Adelyn about the boys. " I bet they would like yoru looks, too" Rex explained to Adelyn.

"Well, that's very good!" Adelyn replied happily. "Oh!" She said, blushing scarlet again, and trying to hide behind a curtain of her auburn curls. "Well...I don't really know about that...I don't think...thanks." Adelyn's words jumbled all together in embarrassment.

" Yes, we will see what happens between me and Nicolette" Rex told Adelyn.. "Well, I really believe the boys here will come around to like you very much" Rex said to Adelyn. "Want any help?" Rex asked Adeln laughing.

Ainra curled up in one of the big armchairs quietly feeling fairly content. She had made peace with her potions professor, and with the effort she had been putting into her homework she was on her way to making up for the the points she had lost for Gryffindor, and more. She could even deal with the fact that she had missed Quidditch tryouts because of detention. There was always next year anyways, and she should really focus on her studies for this year, besides it wasn't like she even knew how to play Quidditch. Ainra smiled a small smile and pulled out her arithmancy textbook from her bag. She was incredibly interested in arithmancy and she wanted to learn as much as she could.

"I hope you can be friends again. I don't like it when my friends fight, it makes life rather difficult for everyone." Adelyn explained. "Well, I'm glad you think so, but I think it's more what others think, is it not? Seeing as you have Kay, your opinion can't count for much." She replied, laughing, "I'm only joking, of course. But you know, if you'd like to help, I wouldn't object." Adelyn said, still giggling, and twirling her hair in two fingers.

" Hi Ainra" Rex said to her. "Well, you must have been busy doing yoru homework" Rex said to Ainra. " I have not seen you in awhile" Rex smiled at Ainra.

"Well, Nicolette and I are talking again" Rex smiled at Adelyn. "Well, isn't what you think more important?" Rex asked Adelyn. " Oh yes, my opinion is terrible" Rex laughed. "Well, I will see what I can do about those boys for you" Rex explained to Adelyn.

Lucy entered the room looking around for her friends, she was bored, the whole day went very bad for her and she wanted to relax for sometime.

Ainra laughed. "Yeah I guess." She said, giving Rex a small smile. "How are you?"

"That's good to hear!" Adelyn said, grinning. "I don't know, I guess what I think is important, maybe, sometimes." Her voice grew quiet as she rambled; she never really thought much of herself. "It's not that your opinion is terrible!" Adelyn laughed. "But thank you, Rex." She replied, cheeks pink again.

Tori came into the common room, drained and annoyed from her potions class. She really didn't know how she would make it through the year with such a sour puss of a teacher. Either way she had to do well at potions. Sinking into the nearest chair, she dropped her bag at her feet and exhaled heavily.

" I knew you had been busy doing homework" Rex told Ainra laughing. " I am fine except for my shoulder" Rex said to Ainra. " I do not thnk I can play Quidditch anymore" Rex sighed.

" Yes, I know you would be happy to hear Nicolette and I are repairing our friendship" Rex told Adelyn. "Well, I want you to think better of yourself, not bad about yourself" Rex explained to Adelyn. "Well, I knew my opinion is the only one that counted Rex teased Adelyn laughing. "So when are we going to look for the boys for you and I think the three girls who could help you are Nicolette, Ginny and Kay" Rex said to Adelyn.

"Oh no!" Ainra said, giving Rex a sympathetic frown. "What happened?"

"Well, I was sick for a few days. Asthma, actually. I'm trying to get caught up with all the homework and whatnot." , Nicolette replied.

She felt pretty guilty about everything. And in reality, he was one of the first people to even acknowledge her.

"I'd like to stay friends too, Rex." , she said with a giggle. "Consider it forgotten. How's everything going with Kay?"

" I was practicing Quidditch during the break and I felt my shoulder pop" Rex told Ainra. " the healer gave me some of this cream to heal it, but it is not working" Rex explained to Ainra. " I am pretty sure my shoulder is separated or worsew and will never play Quidditch again" Rex said to Ainra. " I am not sure of my dancing either ' Rex sighed.

" I feel sorry that you had Asthma" Rex told Nicolette. " I knew you would give me a run for being the top Gryffindor student" Rex said to Nicolette.
"All is forgotten and forgiven " Rex smiled at Nicolette. Friends again, yes.
"Well Kay and I have had some issues, agruments but everything is ok especially the making uo part" Rex explained to Nicolette.

"Eh, I was born with it, so I'm used to it. I'm feeling much better now though. , she said with a shrug. What can you do really?

"Top student, eh? Sounds like a challenge..", Nicolette was a very bright student. She'd always been. She just hoped that now since she was dealing with magic, rather than history and her other subjects, she would be just as studious.

"Well I'm glad for you and Kay. I - uh, hope things work out!
