Carter looked at Josh who was now sitting on his bed. Even without Josh having a crazy random yelling spree, Carter could tell something was wrong. He'd have to talk with him alone some time.

Carter looked up when he heard Patroclus. This was seriously the fullest that he remembered the dorm ever being, minus when they were all sleeping of course. "Hey Patroclus." he said. "We were just talking about summer vacation."

Chris was squirming on top of his four-poster, squeezing his pillow. This conversation of Dark Magic had him on end and he didn't like it. There was a reason it wasn't taught at Hogwarts, because even if they were just talking about it honestly someone might get the crazy idea of using it.

Chris looked up at Legend with a small smile and answered his question, "Truthfully I am a bit. All Dark magic may not be as evi as we percieve it but I think people get carried away and Dark Magic is too controllde by emotions and hate." he sighed. "Not that I am against anyone who uses it. Rafe is my friend. He can do whatever he likes when he is at home, he just is not allowed to use it here at Hogwarts." he nodded, he could see both sides of things.
The Head Boy had been looking at each boy to see how they were reacting to the conversation and found a look of discomfort on Josh's face, much like his. He nodded reassuringly as if to say things would be ok and the subject was changing.

"Well Russia sounds nice, a bit too cold for me to be honest though. What do you plan on doing in your visit?" he asked curiously. He had been to many different places with his father but they hadn't made it to Russia yet.

"I am not exactly sure where I will be going this summer. Since I am graduating this term Im pretty sure my father has a big trip planned. He mentioned Rome and some other Ancient locations so we can explore and learn about the ancient wizards of the area. So that ought to be fun." he was nervous to graduate. "I will also be heading to Wizarding University next fall." the seventh year added.
Although the reaction Josh had had was bad, the reaction Carter had towards the conversation was a bit disturbing. Chris spoke up as he put a hand on the boy's shoulder. "It's ok Carter that conversation is over, you all here me?" he said his voice a little louder. When someone gets really upset by something like that, it was time to stop.
Chris looked around at the others for a second as the silence wore on and Patroclus entered the dorm looking around suspiscously. Before anyone said anything about Dark Magic to bring another person into it Chris spoke up. "Hey Patroclus! How are you? I haven't seen you that much this term. we were all just getting to what were are going to do this summer. What about you?" he asked with a genuine grin.

Feeling all the eyes of the Gryffindor boys on him Patroclus, grew hot under his Polo collar, he was only human! Brushing his stupidity aside Patroclus, answered Carter and Chris' questions.
"My Summer, I am not one percent sure, as of yet, but we may be going to China for a little while, but other than that i will just be going between our home in London, and our home in France." The Hudson's were trying to have a fairly ordinary summer break for Patroclus' sake this year, it was his thrid year, but it marked his only full school year. "After the last Summer in Spain and the one before that in Peru, to be home will be nice."

Turning to the Head Boy, Patroclus smiled, "Well I have seen you, but just never got a chance to say 'Hey'. I have been aound just classes, friends the usual!" Patroclus wondered what it felt like to be Chris, not the head boy part, bu the part that was enjoying its final year at Hogwarts!

Rafe doubt anyone would really understand dark magic and how it wasn't something that should be practiced lightly. He was always supervised by his father while he was in Romania. His mother would probably overlook it too, just a 'that's my boy' kind of situation. Rafe glanced up as that Legend kid asked about what if the water was mixed, "They simply won't go together, like oil and water, however I suppose you could drink them at the same time, but I don't know if that's ever been tested." Maybe that would be something he could experiment with over the summer.

And clearly the Dark Arts was a touchy subject, especially with Josh. "I'll try not to bring it up anymore, but I think if you think that that bloke is capable of some real damage, then there's no time to waste. But, if he's really thinking up ways of dark magic, then you might want to consider greater dark magic to stop him, it's sometimes the only way."

He then listened to Carter, Patroclus, and Legend talk about their summers. Oh, and then Chris saying Rafe should only do Dark Magic at home. Rafe didn't really want to talk about his summer, what he did was his own business. He just laid back on his bed and stared up at the ceiling as thoughts of experimenting flooded his mind.

Silently listening to the other boys as it seemed Josh's mind was busy with the idea of encountering any dark magic. He was angry and he feared that his anger and rage would take over him if anyone using dark magic would hurt someone he loved again. His mother always said that he should never act with rage, she believed, instead, he should use his mind and wit to fight with enemies.

Enemies. As the thought of enemies passed in his mind he realised that he was making up too much things for he did not have any enemies...yet and he was now together with his friends...no enemies. Looking up at the head boy as he promised to not to mention it again the boy silently nodded, then, he stared at Rafe when he spoke to him. ''Greater dark magic?'' he repeated having difficulty with believeing his friend. Perhaps he was right. Greater dark magic did beat dark magic. But... ''I'm never using dark magic no matter what.'' he resisted ''I think we need to find another way. There should be another way''

Heading up to the boys dorm Drew laid back in his bed not even bothering taking off his shoes. This was great. But he didn't want to spend the rest of his time at Hogwarts alllll sad and pouting.

He looked around but didn't see anybody he knew. Grrrrr! Helena where are you when you need you! He grabbed some parchment and a quill and started writing to her. Drew just had to see her this summer!

Aiden made his way up the stairs and into his dorm. Not that he didn't enjoy all the other aspects of Hogwarts, but it was nice to just kick back and relax on his own bed. Walking in, he noticed Drew there, laying back with some parchment and a quill in his hand. "Hey, mate," Aiden greeted, throwing his sweatjacket onto his bed. "What are you up to?"

So into his letter Drew didn't noticed Aiden walk into the dorm. As he spoke to him Drew looked up at him. "Ahhh just writing a letter." He said placing the parchment and quill down as he sat up in his bed. "So how have you been? I haven't seen you in awhile man." He asked. It would be nice to hear about somebody elses life and not just his own problems.....

Hmm. Aiden needed to owl his mum soon. He hadn't done it in a while, and he kept procrastinating. At least she'd have to understand somewhat seeing as the end of the term was bringing exams and projects out the wazoo. "Nice," he said with a nod. "I've been doing well. Really well, actually - just started dating someone." Okay, so that seemed to come up in every conversation he had been speaking in lately, but hey! It was the reason behind his excellent mood. "And yourself? You seem kinda.. zoned out, or something." Or maybe the guy was just focused on his writing.

Rex is at the doem. He needs some sleep.

Grrrrr! Nice Aiden here you are talking how you are wonderful and have a new girlfriend and blah blah blah!!! But then again he didn't knew he broke up with Annie...."Who is it?" Drew asked chances are he doesn't know her but he mighhht! "Ummm well I haven't been quite as good as you. I just broke up with my girlfriend." He said. Plus he was busy writting Helena! But the break up thing was more on his mind....

Hmh. So Drew didn't exactly look so happy for him. Maybe the guy was having a bad day? "Her name's Ella Ainsworth. She's a Slytherin." Not that he needed the house that she was sorted into, but he figured it might jog his memory in case he had known of her or something. Ohh, so that's why his mood wasn't the best when Aiden brought up the girlfriend thing. "Ah, sorry, man. Why'd you guys break up?" So much relationship stuff buzzing around Hogwarts.

Drew thought for a moment about the name. "I think I've heard of her. Buuuut I we've never actually meet." He said after a moment of thinking. "Ummm you know just jealousy stuff." He said. He wanted to shrug like it was no big deal but it wassss! It wasn't like he could just forget that he had been like in love with Annie for more than a year now! But life goes on riiight???

Aiden nodded when he told him he'd heard of Ella, but never actually met her. "I'll have to introduce you guys one day," he said casually. Aah. The big, green monster of jealousy. "I see what you mean." Aiden himself had been hella jealous of Patrick when he had been dating Ella. "So, she broke up with you, then?" He figured she ended it, seeing as he appeared so depressed over it all.

"Alright sounds good." Drew said nodding. Ahhhhh yeah it probably seemed like she broke up with him but that wasn't the case! But it was kinda her fault they broke up!!! Grrr! This made no sense at alll! Girls were waaaay to confusing! "Actually I broke up with her. But she was the one being jealous allll the time." He said softly. And maybe seeing other people would be good right???

"Aah, I see," Aiden remarked, kicking off his trainers. So, both of them were sort of at fault, then. "Jealousy is a killer." It was probably the number one ruiner of relationships. Seemed to be, at least. "Who's your girlfriend again?" Perhaps he had mentioned it the last time they spoke, but Aiden couldn't recall.

Jayce walked up into the boys dormitory, with Opal in tow. He bent down and picked up the black and white puppy. He walked over towards his bed and gently placed her down on the soft fluffy comforter. He couldn't help but grin to himself as he sat down next to her. Jay gently stroked the dogs head as she nibbled on his shirt. "Stupid dog." he mumbled with a little laugh.
