Gryffindor Boys' Dormitory Up the stairs and to your left stands the door to the boys' sleeping quarters. The rooms are adorned in deep shades of red and gold, with the occasional poster hanging on the wall. A heater has warmed the room and your belongings are already inside. You'll find your trunk sits at the foot of your four poster bed. Make yourself at home boys! Remember: NO GIRLS PERMITTED |
This was the one thing Mat had been thinking the entire time during the feast. BED TIME!!! It's not that he was feeling truly tired and all but he wanted some quiet time just to relax which was really unusual for him. Not remembering how he did manage to get in bed nor taken the time to put on his pajamas Mat simply let himself fall on the oh so sweet mattress. It didn't took him much time before he's eyes close. |
Jason raced upstairs. “Ahh, no girls to pester or stare at you anymore” he thought wonderingly. Reed had blown his top today and he was ready to sleep. He glanced at another boy in the dorm. “Hey, I’m Jason.” He said. |

Brought his attention to the boy and focused his gaze. “Hi, Sean, I’m Jason. What year are you in?” By the look of his small figure, he could tell he was a first year. “Ah, my first year at Hogwarts was the hardest. You’ll get used to this school in time. Well, the years almost over though. How’s it going? Do you find it easy? DADA was always my favorite class.’ He pulled out his wand. “This baby is the best.” He thought again. “Got any girl troubles yet?” He asked. “There’s this girl named Reed, she’s causing me trouble. I guess girls just want to have more authority than you.” He scowled, then gave the boy a friendly pat on the shoulder. “You’ll hope you won’t get that much attention from girls, but there will always be that one special one.” |
After a long night of sleep nothing could do more good to him than that. Hearing two boys talking to each other Mat had no problem jumping in that conversation. "What's up dudes? I'm Mat." Grinning at them, he positioned himself in order to face them. |

Rex comes in the boys dormitory. He has had a long day. "Anyone in here have troubles with girlfriends?" Rex asked them all. |
Carter walked into the dormitory. He sprawled across his bed. He took out the heavy transfiguration books that were lent to him and began reading. It was all very interesting. Every few minutes he flipped through a dictionary sitting next to him. Growing up having nothing in the house but medical books he learned how to read technical books. |
Quote:
"Still working on them?" Rafe asked as he saw Carter reading the Transfiguration books. He went over to his bed and flopped on it face down, then slowly rolled over. Rafe yawned, "IIIIII feeeeel soooo out of practice." He was referring to the Quidditch tryouts. "I'm going to have to start training more over the summer or at least get some extra practice in between." Rafe stretched, he was slightly sore. "I think Brant might be the death of me," Rafe forced a laugh because he was slightly serious. |
Quote:
He nodded with a chuckle as Rafe mentioned he was out of practice. "Oh, me too. I haven't been up in the air at all since the last game last term." he said. "My body has gotten used to being right here on the ground." |
Quote:
Rafe laughed as he mentioned about getting used to the ground. "You reminded me about Ella talking about how you two played football over the summer. I swear it's a sport I'll never fully understand, but she said she'd try and teach me." She would definitely need a lot of luck. Rafe preferred sports on brooms! |
Quote:
"Yeah, we did. I used to play. A lot actually. That's what I was planning on doing before... you know, all of this. I had my own coach, trainer, and agent. I played all over the world and was accepted into an Olympic training camp too." he said rambling about his old life. "It's kind of like Quidditch... except it's all played on the ground... and there's only one ball... and everyone's a chaser... and you kick the ball instead of passing it..." he said. "Okay. So I guess that's a lot different from Quidditch." |
Quote:
"Is Sinatra worried about a little restriction?" Rafe laughed. "Where there's a will there's a way my friend! Maybe we could just butter up one of these professors to write us a pass or something, but that might be harder than trying to break down a few magical barriers." Rafe didn't exactly have a plan of a way of getting around it, but he was very determined to learn more about becoming an animagus. Sometimes that's all you needed was a little determination. "Wow, that's pretty impressive from a muggle standpoint," Rafe said rather amused. "Wow, the Olympics, something I actually know what you're talking about! It originated in Greece...some wizards and witches like to recreate some of their events every year and make a festival of it, though I don't know if their just mocking muggles or simply do it for fun," Rafe wondered. "Good food though," he laughed. "Hmm...I just don't know if I would be coordinated enough for such a sport, it sounds like it has it's complications," Rafe said a little wearily. |
Quote:
"Agreed. But who could we butter up?" he asked. He laughed. "Oh yeah? I bet that would be a sight to see." he said. He imagined a bunch of wizards and witches doing their imitation of muggle sports. "And football isn't too bad, really. Quidditch takes a little more effort to learn." |
Quote:
"Well, I'll take your word about football," Rafe said. "I suppose I should give it a go at least once before I can completely judge it." Oh sports...that's was usually what the boys talked about and, "So how are things going with you and Marie?" |
Quote:
"Things are great. You'll be pleased to know that we finally made it official." he said. "I am now the proud boyfriend of a Slytherin." |
Quote:
Rafe smiled as he heard Carter's good news. "That's bloody fantastic mate! We certainly do have a thing for blondes! And Slytherins for that matter!" |
Quote:
"Yes, who wouldn't?" he asked. There was just something special about a girl who would take care of herself. "I'm looking forward to Hogsmeade where we can have a proper date." he said. And he was looking forward to not having to poke any bushes to make sure Destiny wasn't nearby when they kissed. |
"I think I might do a little more research on my own before reaching that point? Maybe we should look into getting into the Restricted Section after the last Quidditch match..." Rafe raised an eyebrow. That was certainly something Rafe and Carter could agree on. Not getting detention preventing them from playing. "I'm definitely ready for Hogsmeade, I promised a little firstie I'd by her a butterbeer," Rafe stood up and stretched. "Gotta expand our social circle," Rafe laughed. Rafe yawned. "I feel like stretching my legs...wanna go to the lake or something? Maybe we can tickle the Giant Squid or something," he grinned. |
Quote:
"A little firstie? How does Marilyn feel about that?" he asked with a laugh. Marilyn was a possessive girl. She got mad at Marie just for speaking to Rafe. "That sounds good." he said getting up. "To the lake!" he said in an official-like tone. |
Brant brought up from the lake his freshly painted runes. "Looks good to me, but I better not touch them untill I know they are dry" he said out loud. Putting them on his desk he pulled out his rune book and flipped through the pages to know their meaning a little bit better. Finding each rune and then writing a little note of each one and their meanings. They finally looked dried so Brant took out his wand and then Made sure that the paint wouldn't chip or fade away. |

Sitting on his bed Joshua started to play with the owl snacks in his hand. He had been waiting for a letter from his parents for quite a long time yet his owl had been out for a couple of weeks and it still had not come back. Sighing at the thought, he threw the owl snaks in his bag and stood up and started to pace in the room as he waited for his mate Rafe. |
