Ella took a deep breath, his reaction was everything that she had expected. She just didn't want him to continue, which he did. She stood up as soon as he did but was a little afraid to go any closer. "Please don't do this Patrick. I'm sorry. I don't want to break up, please." She said messily with more tears rolling down her face. She didn't even care that Trixie and Aiden were watching behind them.

Patrick held up a hand to stop her from talking anymore. "I'm sorry Ella I really am. But I only want you to be happy and I'm not fulfilling that promise," he said to her weakly, he started to feel even more dizzy even though he was trying hard to stay upright. His vision was going in and out of focus. "We did have something but now we don't. It will be okay," he whispered, sliding to the ground and coughing up blood again.

The fact that he was being so nice about it made it all so much worse for Ella. Did he even care? She didn't say anymore, because she was completely crying now and it would make her sound stupid. "You ddo make mmee happyy." She sniffled. As Patrick sat on the ground and coughed up blood, Ella gasped and knealt down beside him. "Ccome on, you need to go to the Hospital Wiing." She said, trying to get out of her crying state.

"I may but only as a friend," he stated softly, with a small smile. He didn't want this to hurt but he knew that Ella was a complete wreck. It wasn't in his intentions to make her angry. "I know how much you like Aiden." Patrick knew that she was confused in who to like and guessed it was the reason she was crying. He decided not to protest against going to the Hospital Wing. He needed more treatment than he thought. "Alright," he figured.

Okay. Ella was crying, but her emotions were slowly turning into anger and frustration. "Wwhy don't you even care!" She growled with teary eyes. Because she was feeling quite unwanted at the moment. She was still frowning when he agreed to going to the Hospital Wing. It's too late Pattykins, she didn't want to be nice anymore. "Well you can go by yourself." She snapped, then stormed off out of the corridor.

Patrick opened his mouth to reply but he didn't have a chance. Ella got all angry and walked off. He watched as she walked off and pulled himself up again. Hmm...did he really want to go to the Hospital Wing? The Healer lady would just ask questions and he'd get in trouble. No. Then again he doubted he could heal his injuries on his own. He couldn't focus. Might as well not speak to Ella for a few days. "Bye," he waved to Trixie and ignored Aiden. He used the wall to support himself and hobbled down the hall.

Oh great. This was brilliant. Just brilliant. Everyone was throwing words around like they had just been throwing punches. EHH. He was so frustrated with this. If Ella was pleading and crying to Patrick for him to stay in a relationship with her, then why the hell did she kiss Aiden?! Did she enjoy emotional torture? Trixie managed to shut everyone up with a loud holler, but it didn't last for long.

And then Patrick officially broke up with Ella, and.. oh, Patrick didn't look good, and then she stormed off, and Patrick slumped towards the hospital wing and...... what the hell just happened?! Sigh. Aiden wiped the blood away from his face, smearing it onto the back of his hand, and left the stupid corridor. Brilliant.

Miles walked out of the Library with an armful of books. Oh he hated studying. He could barely see around them and walking was difficult that was for sure. Hoping that other people were paying attention he headed down the corridor or what he hoped was down the corridor, toward the stairs.

Violet strutted down the fourth floor corrider and then leaned against a wall. She smiled happily to herself, and looked up and down the corrider.

On his way up to the Owlery to check if Fly had his returned letter yet (the boy was too impatient to wait for breakfast), Jake turned into the fourth floor corridor and hurried down distractedly. He'd managed to make it halfway before accidentally walking into a suit of armour.

Typical.

Luckily it didn't fall, but Jake quickly checked to see if he'd been noticed.

Violet saw someone walk into a suit of armour? What the? Then she realised who it was...Jake! She walked over to him. "Aw, are you okay?" she asked giving him a hug. "I was actually wanting to ask you something..."

*Giggle* It would be an embarrasing question indeed, but worth a shot!

Did Violet just hug him?

"Errr... I'm fffine," he said warily, body kind of stiffening up as he stared at Violet... "Okay... wwhhhat did you wwwant to ask?"

"Well, you know the dance is...um coming up and I just wanted to know if maybe, you would want to um..." She searched for better words other than 'go with me'. As friends? Talk there? Walk together? . "Like, maybe we could go together." *Blush* *Blush* *BLUSH*. She looked at the floor, avoiding eye contact.

Jake frowned slightly. He... didn't quite understand this. "See... I hhhave a few p-p-problems with this. You... yyyyou pppicked on me for my ssstutter for a wwwhile, and I dddon't quite understand whhhy you've sssuddenly changed your mmmind about me..."

And of course, there was that other point...

"And... I already asked sssomeone else. Lllast night, actually."

This was... somehow awkward.

Ouch, that hurt. Violet's eyes got all watery so she put her face in her hands. "But I'm really sorry about doing that, and I've just wanted to change you know, but I really am sorry about everything really." she said, she started crying now but tried hiding it with her hands still in her face.

"Okay, I u-understand." she said through sobs. Well she really didn't because she was too sad to think about.

"I dddon't g-g-get why you sssuddenly like me," Jake repeated softly, feeling bad about making someone cry, because he hadn't actually been trying to. "Dont'... dddon't cry..."

Oh no. What if a professor came along and thought Jake had been bullying Violet or something. That would not go down well. "There are ppplenty of guhh-guys you could go with..."

Errr... Jake would never have thought someone would cry after being turned down by him.

"Well, don't you want people to like you?" she asked, still crying. "And I'm not crying I just have dust in my eyes thats all." she lied.

Plenty of other guys to go with? Psh, yeah right she thought. "But, I don't know a lot of guys. And all the boys already have dates, but even if they didn't they wouldn't take me." she said through sobs.

WHY did people always cry around Jake?

"No... yyyou're crying," Jake pointed out, frowning slightly. "Errr... whatever hhhappened to that ev-... I mean, that kkkid Justin?"

GUH! What else was he supposed to say?

"I cccan help you fffind someone?"

Amy walked down the hall and hmm the rude boy with the stutter, she walked past him and over to the stairwell, she stared down the floors, watching the world go by, then she sat down and pulled out her batered little sketch book, opened it and began to sketch the scene in front of her

She started crying even louder when he mentioned Justin. "Justin cheated on me! So then we broke up and we were enemies but then he had to move to Durmstrang because his dad was changing jobs." she explained though sobs.

"You could? But its not even worth it no one wants to go with me!" she replied.

Simon saw Amy and smiled. "Amy, how are you?" He sat down next to her and hoped that she would talk to him, he hadn't spoken to her for ages and he was wondered if he had done something wrong, well he would have to ask her later, he took out a book and started to read, he didn't want Amy to think he didn't do anything but talk.

Amy brought her head up, Simon, she smiled, where you been stranger? she laughed, putting down her sketch book

Simon suddenly put the book down. "What do you mean where have I been?" He asked. "Where have you been?" He had been around. "I've been around." He smiled as he wondered what Amy ment.

I meant I haven't seen you in ages, Amy smiled I've been helping around the grounds and liabray in an atempt to get points and I've been doing homework, I've been in the room of requirment a lot, oh and I've been helping with the ball, are you doing it?

Errr... oops?
