Marie was still angry as she walked away with Carter but being with him did make her feel better. "I know I don't have to listen to what he has to say. It's just that he makes me so mad sometimes I want to punch him something." Maybe now would be a good time for her to go to the dueling arena and take out some of her anger there.

Then Carter said something that totally made her forget all the anger she was feeling. She stopped walking and turned to face him. "Really, you think I'm the greatest?" she asked sounding a little shocked. She knew he liked her, she just didn't know how much he liked her. She was about to kiss him when she suddenly remembered Destiny was with them.

GAH!

Why did Lawson have to tie them together? Why couldn't he have just given her detention instead? Then her punishment could have already been done and over with but NOOOOOO, he had to go and stick her with a constant tag-a-long. Someone who would have no problem running to Lawson at the first sight of kiss. She opted to give him a hug instead (Lawson never said they couldn't hug) but that was interrupted too. This time it wasn't Destiny though, it was Evan yelling. Only this time he wasn't yelling at her, he was yelling at... Clown Girl!?

Did that girl kiss that bad that he had to yell at her about it?

Oh, she was leaving him. WAIT! She was LEAVING? She had the nerve to kiss him and then tell him she was leaving! Marie knew she had a bad feeling about that girl for a good reason, and here it was. What kind of girl kisses a boy like that then says they are leaving? A girl that didn't care about the feelings of others obviously. Sure, she knew Evan thought she didn't care about his feelings but at least she never did something like that to him. She turned back to Carter. "Well it sounds like the new happy couple isn't so happy after all." She knew it was wrong of her to be happy about that but she couldn't help it... she was very happy that they were arguing.

She had a great boyfriend who made her feel special everytime they were together, she just wanted the same for Evan. She wanted him to move on with his life and find a girlfriend that would treat him right and not hurt him... someone that was NOT Clown Girl.

Then she heard HER comment, I don't know why I kissed you. Really? You don't say that to someone after kissing them the way Marie had seen them kissing. She felt her anger rising again and without even thinking about what she was doing she walked away from Carter (dragging Destiny with her... again) went right up to little miss I kiss just because and punched her right in the nose. "That's for messing with the feelings of others." she said then turned away and went back over to Carter.

She now knew she had some explaining to do to Carter... and Destiny too. "I'm sorry guys, it's just well... even though Evan makes me mad and I want to punch him sometimes, I don't want to see him get hurt by some girl who is just out to use him." she said. Then looking into Carters eyes she grabbed his hands and whispered, "Please don't be mad at me, I couldn't just let her get away with how she was treating him." She really hoped this latest stunt of hers wasn't going to push away the one boy that she truly did care about. She didn't know what she would do if Carter was mad at her.

Evan tried to keep composed and not shake out of fury. He couldn't believe it--so this meant Olivia practically played with him, didn't it? He felt so silly. Of course, she would never actually want him. Did he want her, at any time? He wasn't sure, it all happened so fast. He wanted to kick somewhere. It was so unfair that girls could slap boys, but boys had to keep it in themselves. And the kiss had felt so fine! It made him feel things he never thought he was capable of feeling at the same time. This was totally not the way he wanted his first kiss to be. On the contrary, it ended with another goodbye. And he hated goodbyes.

Oh, she was stuttering now?! She wasn't, while she pressured him about his feelings, though! He listened, and his eyes got even narrower with sceptism. "We could bear her!" he exploded. But istead, she chose the easiest way--she was leaving. She obviously wouldn't even fight. Evan didn't know their past, but he guessed Olivia came here only to run away again. Was his life so easy with Marie? Never, but he was getting used to it. He, at least, wanted to get over her. However, weak Olivia chose to run. How pathetic.

Her next comment could have resulted in really punching her out of rage had it not been for Marie and her distraction, because he almost lost his mind. Her appearance distracted him, and only then did he remember himself. Though, Marie seemed to be out of her mind, punching Olivia. And before Evan could get and react, she was gone again, returning to her Carter. He stared in amazement and gratitude this time. Wow. She'd just spoken his mind. He owed her a thank you there. Maybe she did still care him... coming from all that way to defend him, right in front of Carter. He'd consider being friends with her again, sometime later. When he was less confused.

Focusing on Olivia once again, he stared in total disgust now. "No wonder why Aiden doesnt love you. He's done himself a great favour there--it's obvious you would have played with him too had you got the chance." Glaring at her one last time, he added "I don't want to see you again." And with that said, he continued on his way to the closest stairs to go to his bed and just think what caused every girl he liked to leave, except Marie.

Olivia frowned as she heard Evan speak, she didn't play him ! She didn't WANT to leave ! She just couldn't be at a school with that rotten Savannah ! Ugh..."You don't understand....."She said as tears starting filling up her eyes. Oh no, crying in front of boys was never good. Olivia started to cry even harder as he spoke of aiden, okay now she was mad."You know what, Evan ? Now I see why Marie left you, you don't care about anyone's feelings but your own! I am done with you...."She said, shaking her head and walking down the corridor."HAVE A NICE LIFE !"she said, leaving Evan alone.

Carter nodded. "Absolutely." he said with a smile. Marie was the greatest. And she was all his.

And then he heard yelling, more yelling, from Evan. He watched as Marie went over and punched weird fake girlfriend girl. "There's no need to apologize." he said to her when she got back. "I understand. And I'm proud of you for trying to make friends with Evan after everything." he said. He wished he could do that with Marilyn, but that was never going to happen. Because little Miss Force was mental and truth be told he was a little relieved to have her out of his life.

Marie couldn't believe it, Carter wasn't mad at her for punching clown girl and for sticking up for Evan, even though she did just have another huge fight with him. Glancing over at Destiny she noticed she wasn't looking at them so she gave Carter a quick hug and kiss. "Thanks for being so understanding, you really are the greatest boyfriend a girl could ask for," she said.

Just then she heard more yelling. She looked back at Evan in time to hear him say he never wanted to see the clown again... and then he just walked away from her. She felt happy that he didn't want to see the girl again yet at the same time she felt sad. No matter what happened with her and Evan she still wanted to see him happy. "Do you think it is wrong that I still want to be friends with Evan?" she asked Carter. Maybe she just needed to stay away from him since all she seemed to do was cause him grief.

Carter smiled as he received a hug and a kiss from Marie. Being a boyfriend was fantastic.

He shook his head no. "I don't think so. He was an important person in your life and you guys were friends. I think it's normal that you'd want that friendship back." he said. "But I also think that you both might be trying to force it too early. If you don't let some time pass for things to settle down that anger might become permanent." he said choosing his words carefully. He didn't want to offend her at all by what he was saying. And he'd really hate for Marie to lose a friend forever because they got mad at each other now.

Marie really was lucky to have such an understanding boyfriend. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I think I'll just leave him alone. When he's ready I'm sure he'll talk to me... maybe." After today she really doubted that he would ever talk to her again. "I don't really feel like studying now. You two wanna go do something else?" she ask Carter... and Destiny.

Carter put his arm around Marie. He knew that this would be hard for her. "Sure." he said soothingly. "I'm up for anything." he said looking over at Destiny. The question was, what would she be up for? And would it be something to cheer Marie up?

Blah blah blah.

Yes, Destiny had a feeling if Lawson were to show up, she would kick him right in the head. Having to deal with Marie and all her drama was enough to make the girl rip her own hair out..which she almost did, but then remembered Lawson and his almost bald spot. She did NOT want to look like him.

She was being dragged back and forth, pulled to the ground, then up again. Her arm was definitely sore, and probably hanging off a little bit. Heh, she would have to look at it when Carter wasn't around..the little creeper. She didn't bother saying anything through the yelling since there would be nothing to say, and even if there was, no one would listen to her anyway. She didn't even try to stop the punch, because..well, Destiny thought it was highly amusing, and a really good punch at that.

Smirking, she let Marie pull her over to Carter, and from the corner of her eye, she saw them hug..and..KISS! Gah! It made Destiny shiver, but again, she kept her mouth shut. She was just going to tally up the kisses, and then spring them all on Lawson at once. Heehee.

They were leaving now!? Destiny needed a boooook! Heaving a dramatic sigh, she nodded, "Yeah, we can go do something else."

You know, Destiny'll get her book when it is convenient for those two.

Marie smiled when Carter put his arm around her. It's amazing how one small gesture could make her feel so good. She looked back and forth between Carter and Destiny. She really didn't care what they did just as long as it didn't involve her having to see Evan or Clown Girl again....

And no studying either.

Carter looked between the two girls. Destiny looked like she wasn't quite ready to go. "Do we need to get something in the library before we go?" he asked. Then he thought about what they could do next. "Would you guys be up for pie? We could go make one." Or I could make one. Or I could make a fruit salad. Really, he'd do just about whatever as long as he got to be with Marie. And the 'just about whatever' had to involve something that would please Destiny. Because if Destiny wasn't happy then she could keep Marie looked up in their common room.

Destiny glanced between Carter and Marie and grimaced at the sight of them touching. It gave her shivers and she was sure Marie could fell the rope move. "Seriously, do you have to touch? It's freaking me out." If she had to pull that picture out again, they would both be sorry.

Looking at Carter when he asked if she needed anything from the library, she resisted the urge to punch him in the gut. "No, I don't need anything. I'll just steal Marie's book." she said, then smirked at her friend. Yup, if Marie didn't want to go to the library, then she would have to fork over her book. Her angry mood lightened up as pie was mentioned. Pffft, bribing her with food?

Well, it worked.

"Yeah, let's go." she said then started dragging Marie towards the stairs.

Maybe..Carter could make choooocolate pie.

GAH!

"No one said you had to look at us Destiny. If you don't like what you see then DON'T look." What was Destiny's problem? She was getting to be as bad as Evan when it came to Marie and Carter being together. Seriously, everyone just needed to get over it and realize there was nothing they could do to break them up or keep them apart.

WHAT!?

"You will NOT steal my book. If you need a book that bad then we can go get it from the library now." She was not about to let Destiny take her book, not when she has the chance to go get her own right now.

Pffft, that girl would do just about anything to get out of going to the library it seemed, including stealing her friends book.

Looking back at Carter she put her arm around him and gave him a big hug... you know just to annoy Destiny. That hug didn't lasy long though because she was suddenly being dragged away towards the stairs.

Quickly grabbing onto Carters hand she said, "Come on, it looks like we are headed to the kitchen." She hurried to keep up with Destiny who seemed like she was running from a fire or something. "Slow down Destiny, the kitchen isn't going to run out of food."

Geez! Since when did this girl all of a sudden like to run?

Trixie had somehow ended up on the fourth floor corridor after evidently breaking down completely after her little encounter with Milo. So it was apparent they had officially broken up. But as she stopped her, exhausted from running any further she leant against the wall and slid down face in her hands as she cried. Sniff. Could her life get any worse? First loosing one friend and now onto Milo as well. Not to forget being stupefied. Trixie was beginning to think that her life was dreadful so why not just end it now? Why not just leave Hogwarts? She felt unloved anyway. And seeing as these were the only memories she actually had right now she wanted better ones.

Vashti was skipping merrily down the fourth floor corridor, not really going anywhere in particular, just walking around for the sake of it. But she stopped abruptly when she saw someone sitting against the wall and quite clearly crying. She couldn't tell who it was, as the girl's face was hidden, but she couldn't just walk by and ignore her, could she? That'd be extremely cold and rude.

"Hey," she said softly, sitting down next to the girl. "What's wrong?"

Trixie looked as she heard a voice which was slightly muffled due to the fact she was crying too much. "I split up with my boyfriend" she told the person who was quite obviously a girl before wiping the tears away. "Spatulaclaw" she siad after a sudden realization who it was. Well at least it was someone she didn't mind talking to.

Vashti immediately realized who it was when the girl called her Spatulaclaw. "Slytherdove," she said, tucking her legs under her so that she was sitting on them. "Why'd you two break up? If you don't mind my asking, that is." She didn't really know Trixie had a boyfriend - what a bad friend she was! Maybe she could make up for it by trying to help her now.

Trixie smiled weakly at the mention of her nickname. "Ella, my cousin, told him about Patrick and Aiden. She asked whether I still liked them, as in like like. I didn't answer so he stormed out and we just shouted and it all ended in disaster and I don't knwo what to do...." she rambled on. Vashti was a Ravenclaw wasn't she? Maybe she could help with her amazing brains.

Vashti bit her lower lip, wondering what to say. Why was it that these sorts of relationships always ended in some kind of drama? Teenagers. They were always so dramatic. That was why she wasn't really looking forward to her thirteenth birthday this coming May. Teenagerdom! Scary!

"You should tell him that you don't still like Aiden and Patrick," she suggested. Then she paused. "You don't, do you?"

Carter looked between the two girls and then shrugged. Looks like Destiny was going to steal Marie's book. And it looked like Carter was going to make a pie. He then began following the two girls down to the kitchens. He hoped Marie's arm wouldn't fall off by the time they got down there. Destiny sure looked eager for pie.

Patrick walked up to the fourth floor on his way to the library. Halfway there he vetoed otherwise. Why? Ehh...what was the point? He could go to the library some other time. He took out his wand and swished and flicked it at a 1st years book nearby it flew up and then landed on top of the girls lap.

Good deed for the day.

Sigh. Aiden was bored! And he hated being bored. The weather outside wasn't the greatest, so he couldn't even occupy himself with a run. Eh. This was annoying; he needed to use up his energy somehow. As he walked further down the corridor, he spotted none other than Patrick himself. This was a little random. He debated whether or not to say anything to the guy, and eventually came to the conclusion that he'd greet him. "Hi, Patrick."

Patrick heard a familiar voice and looked up with a disgusted expression on his face. "Hi person who's decided to mess with my girlfriend," he greeted back with sarcasm. Why did Aiden have to show up? And to think he had been in an almost decent mood. He pointed his wand at him and water flew from it. "Sorry. That was a little unintentional," he added with fake sympathy.

"This is coming from the guy who happens to be meddling with Vanessa," Aiden said smoothly. He lifted an eyebrow as Patrick pointed his wand at him, but it turned out that all that spouted from the tip was water. The Gryffindor glanced down at his suddenly wet shirt, then back to Patrick as he stepped towards him. "Well, well. I'm surprised you haven't hexed me as well as Trixie," he added, gracing the Slytherin a shove on the shoulder.

"Why the hell does everyone think I'm meddling with her?!" he cried in outrage. Good lord! HE WAS NOT INTERESTED IN VANESSA! And everyone is deciding to choose he is. He watched as Aiden stepped towards him and made another Trixie comment. He was really asking for it wasn't he? "Hmm...I'm afraid spells are worthless for this type of argument," he mused coolly as he felt Aiden shove his shoulder. He put a hand on the boy's shoulder and gave him a hard punch in the stomach. If that's the way he was going to play so be it.
