It had taken the Flying Instructor a considerable amount of time to regain his composure before heading down to the Dungeons (if he hadn't, then the school would have to witness him being taken to Azkaban in a straight jacket).

He was carrying a tray of something and popped into the check-in room to see where this lady who called herself the Potions Mistress had taken three of the most trustworthy prefects.

"Figures," he grumbled under his breath and left the room with his heavy tray.

CHase walked into Detention twirling her wand between her fingers. She rolled her eyes at the proffesors and started scribbling down info:

Professor Kingsley strode into the dungeons, bag in hand.

"Miss Green," he said, curtly, having noticed her eyeroll. "Your wand, please."

He stuck out his hand.

Chase handed over her wand to him.Poor wand going into that filthy hand. *smirks*

Wrapping his fingers around the wand, Prof. Kingsley narrowed his eyes at her. Noticing, but not acknowledging, the smirk, he tucked the wand inside his robes.

"You will serve your detention in the Pranksters' Penitentiary."

Preston gestured down the hall and waited fo her to move.

CHase started down the hall towards the Prankster's Penitentiary.

Professor Kingsley followed behind, bag in hand.

Tori walked into the dungeon and saw the desk. Looking at the book, she signed her name.

when she heard the scream, she jumped back and pulled her wand out. no dying here. as the sound died away, she started twirling her wand impatiently, waiting for someone to start the torture lesson

She wanted to hang with Justin and whoever not this! That loudmouth was so gonna pay if she had to miss quidditch tryouts

With a fingernail file in one hand and some sort of novel in the other, Lexi Carlton click-clacked her way into the detention check-in. She'd heard that lots of times detentions could be very, very boring, so she'd prepared herself just in case.

"Hello, Miss Knight," she said, greeting the girl with a small smile despite the fact that this was the detention hall. Lexi didn't see any reason why she shouldn't be in a good mood---this wasn't her detention, after all. "Well, let's get started. Most of the rooms are full, so you'll be in Dueling Dwelling." She turned and headed towards the room, waving her hand to beckon the girl to do the same.

"Oh, and...leave your wand in the locked box near the door. There's a little hole at the top for you to slide it into," she called out over her shoulder. Lexi had put the box there just before heading to the check-in area to meet the girl. "I'll summon it for you just as soon as we're done."

Tori followed Professor Carlton to the room and slid her wand into the box.

Wahoo, no wand she thought. It has to be something you can do without a wand then. Muggle stuff.

Patrick slumbered into the Detention Check In area. This is what he chose right? No going back now. He glanced around a little nervous and picked up the quill to sign his name and stuff.

After that he went to take a seat in a chair nearby. He wondered where he was to be sent. He had talked back to a teacher. Not the smartest thing ever.

Lilyan Moretti was already smirking as she made her way into the detention check in, an uneaten apple in her hand, "And we meet again." She said, casting her green eyes to the child that is, after all, certainly how he had acted.

"You will be serving your detention in Lover's Lair." With a flick of her own wand, she summoned his wand to her, "I'll be holding onto his." She added, waving an arm to the hall, waiting for him to move on.

Crap. He wished that he didn't have to be sent to that place in specific. Fine. He just came to get this over with and serve his detention. He was about to protest when she took his wand but resisted it so he wouldn't get in bigger trouble.

"Okay, I'll go there," he told her and got up, rolling his eyes as he started down the hall to the room labeled Lover's Lair.

Entering the dungeons in his only slightly bloody shirt and with a nicely bruised cheek, Jake sighed slightly. Sure, he'd had looooooads of detentions before, but only twice did he have a 'dungeon detention'... and that was when it was relocated to the owlery... so he'd never been this far into the dungeons.

And he didn't like it.

Approaching the sign in sheet thinger, Jake pulled out his wand and set it on the desk (they always took it off you) and picked up the quill. It was quite a few minutes before he managed to 'write' something that vaguely resembled:

And then the boy stood back, put his hands in his pockets, bowed his head slightly, and waited.

Staring at the useless wand.

Josh was right; Jake couldn't do magic.

"I ssssuck."

"That attitude won't help you at all, Mister Upstead," Preston said, walking up behind the boy.

Picking up the wand and tucking it into his own robes, he eyed the clipboard.

"Criminal Cell, please, Mister Upstead."

Turning slightly to look at Kingsley, Jake stared up slightly, saying nothing, before managing half a smile and giving a mock-salute. "Aye-aye, cap'n," he said in a half-hearted attempt at humour.

Which kinda fell smack on its face.

With that, Jake did indeed head out... to look for the Criminal Cell.

Sounded cheerful.

Looking furious and upset Joshua walked to the dungeons again. How could not he get angry? He was going to spend his time in this creepy stupid dungeon place while he could meet his friends in a Hogsmeade trip. And he wanted chocolate. He wanted chocolate right now. No chocolate because it was detention.

Once he had completed writing down the information he stood right there with a sour expression.

Having set up Mister Upstead, Preston returned to the check-in to find a visibly angry Mister Carter.

"You'll find that attitude will not help you any, Mister Carter. You have no one to be angry with but yourself."

Picking up the clipboard, he looked down the corridor. "Your wand, please, Mister Carter. And then to the Duelling Dwelling."

Looking quite hesitant to do so Josh handed his hazel wand to the professor and just nodded as a reaction to the adult man's words. As he looked around the dark, creepy place he remembered his last time there at the Lover's Lair the most horrible detention he could ever face. Hopefully it was no Lover's Lair case right now and Evelyn was not there.

''Sounds fun'' he mumbled sarcastically after the man then made his way to the Duelling Dwelling.

"I may be an adult, but I am not deaf, Mister Carter."

Pocketing the wand, Preston followed behind the boy.

"You'll do well to watch your tone."

Detention.

This. was. insaners.

Sigh.

She hadn't actually been sure where the flappers the check-in was...but this seemed to be the place. Wrinkling her nose, Miranda stepped inside the creepy place and waited with slumped shoulders.


She soooooooooooooooo needed chocolate right now.

Striding into the check in area, Professor Lawson stopped by the desk that was set up there and noted that Miranda was there already.

"Nice to see you on time Miss Belcanto." He held out his hand toward the girl, "Hand over your wand and then write your name in the book. Once you have done that I would like you to head over to the Hooligan Hole."

He eyed the young Hufflepuff for a moment and then shook his head. "I never would have thought I would see this day" he murmured.

Hearing movement, Miranda glanced and saw Professor Lawson out of the corner of her eyes. Heh. On time? Really? It had taken her some time to actually find this place. But...guess that was good.

When Mr Lawson reached out his hand, the first thought that came to the Captain's mind was to shake it...which would've been odd... Ah. Her wand. "My wand, sir?" Squint. "Um...I...You always remind us to have our wands with us at all times..." Okay, maybe not a good idea to argue.

Wrinkling her nose again, she reached for her wand holster, given to her by Lawson that many years ago, and took out her wand. Hesitantly, she gave it to the Professor. Fine. Whatever.

Okay, now to write...stuff.

With that done, she glanced at the Professor again, raised an eyebrow and headed towards the... Hooligan Hole.


Pfffffffft. She SO wasn't a hooligan.

Lucky had really wanted to stop by her common room to get a cookie from the stash she kept in her trunk, but she didn't have time. It was almost 7 o'clock, and she didn't want to be late because who knew what the punishment was for running late to detention... and even though she wasn't smart when it came to decision making (obviously), she was smart enough to know NOT to run late to something like this.

She finally made it to where she was suppose to be, and then she took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Lucky was ON TIME. There was no need to worry about extra punishment! Whooooo hooo.

The first thing she spotted once she had been in the room for a moment or two was a sheet of parchment. Taking a closer look at it, she noticed it was a sign in sheet.

She picked up a nearby quill and wrote:

And then she sighed. This was proof that she had been here.

Mmmmm. Nolan had had a delicious dinner, and now he was headed to detention with Lucky Torelli, and he had PLENTY of ideas of what the detention was going to consist of. HEHE. Was it bad that he was so excited for this? Hmm, as long as he kept his excitement contained, and didn't show HER that he was happy to FINALLY have her in detention where she belonged, he should be fine.

"Ah, good, you're on time," Nolan said as he walked into the check in area and saw Lucky standing there. She was on time! He hadn't expected that. "We'll be headed to the Pranksters Penitentiary today, so grab a quill and follow me," he informed her before turning down the hall and heading to the rooms he'd be using.
