"Yes, we can play this game whenever you want. It can be our own little inside joke." she said smiling. She could just picture everyone looking for someone named Marco when they heard one of them calling it out.

Aww, he worried about rope burn. "I'm glad you never had to experience that, it's not fun." She looked down at the red marks on her wrist from Destiny constantly pulling on that rope. Hopefully they would go away in time or else she was always going to have a reminder of how mean Lawson is.

"Wow, sounds like you've been pretty busy. I'm looking forward to reading what you write." Scores, that made her wonder when the matches were going to start. "Do you know when the first match is yet?" She wanted to make sure she didn't miss it, especially if it was one he was playing in.

"Me, oh I haven't been up to much." Unless you count homework as much. "Oh, Evan and I are friends again." she said smiling. "I think he's finally realizing that I'm not breaking up with you just to be back with him." Nope, Evan had lost his chances with her. She would rather just be his friend now. "That's who I was just with when I heard you calling for Marco," she said smiling. "He asked me to help him with his Transfiguration homework so I did." Yep, she had now officially done that homework two times.

"This weekend is the first match." Carter said. "Slytherin against Ravenclaw. And next week is Gryffindor against Hufflepuff." he said.

"That's good." he said. "I'm glad you guys are friends again." he said. "Oh... I'm sorry." he said. "Were you still working on it?" he asked. He wouldn't want to interrupt the homework.

"Slytherin and Ravenclaw... I will definatly be there. Are you going to be there?" She hoped he was going. It would be fun to see who he cheered for, or if he would cheer for any particular team at all.

She was relieved that Carter wasn't upset about her and Evan being friends again. She knew that he did not like Evan so this meant a lot to her. "Thanks for understanding," she said. "Oh, don't be sorry, we're done with the homework now. Besides, you can interrupt me doing homework anytime you want." Yes, he could distract her from homework whenever she wanted. She would always be happy to see him, no matter what she was doing.

He raised his brow at the boy who seemed freaked out. "I'm Torin. I'm a Prefect. Are you okay?" He didn't really normally ask that, but this guy seemed to be rather startled and on edge.

"I'll be there too." Carter said. "I was hoping to join you on the Slytherin side actually." he said.

He smiled. "You probably shouldn't have told me that." he teased. "You might not end up getting much homework done."

"Really? I would love it if you sat with me on the Slytherin side." she said. "I just hope you don't mind me yellling and cheering a lot." Because she was going to be yelling a LOT. She wanted SLytherin to win at least once this term.

"Is that right?" she said smiling back at him. "Well I guess when I don't have any homework to turn in I could always say Frankie ate it." Yep, parchment would be something that a crup would eat... right?

Well this was just...he didn't even have the words to explain how he was feeling. This just wasn't the year he had hoped it was going to be. And without the moral support of his twin Diggy wasn't coping very well.

He shuffled down the corridor not really wanting to go to his common room but not really having anywhere else to go.

Violet walked along the dunegon corrider and she saw Slytherin boy that she didn't know. How could she not have met him before?! She walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hi, I'm Violet Riddle third year Slytherin." she introduced, holding her hand out for him to shake.

Carter smiled. "Oh, I'd except nothing less." he said about the cheering. Yeah, he remembered her cheering last term.

He laughed. "Well I hear crups eat anything... so naturally eating homework could happen." he said. He then wondered if he could use that excuse as well. "How how was the homework? Hopefully not more fun than when we did it."

He turned around when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He was probably about to walk into a romantic rendezvous for someone one, and they wanted to scram. He looked at the girl as she held her hand out for him to shake. He had no idea who she was. "Hey, I'm Diggy Greenwood. Fifth year," he told her. They were both in the same house so no use repeating that he thought. He shook her hand softly.

Oooh, fifth year! "That's cool." she replied, smiling cutely. "So, how are you?" she asked. Small talk, never failed! Well most of the time anyways. And plus what else are you supposed to say when you first met thim, right?

He nodded. She would think it was cool to be a fifth year, till she had to study for her O.W.L.s. but he didn't want to scare her with that. "Yeah it is," he told her. "Oh I'm alright," he was quickly learning at Hogwarts it was a really bad idea to be open and honest with his feelings. "Um how are you?" he asked for lack or anything else to ask her. It was lame he knew but frankly it was all he could muster at the moment.

"Good and bad, I can't find a date for the ball and its coming up soon." she replied with a sigh. Now, Violet was the one to open up to her feelings, she loved talking about herself even if it was the bad things that came up too. "Are you going to the ball?"

He thought about it for a moment, "Yeah I guess I'm going. Though I don't have a date either. Didn't know it was a date sort of thing." he said scratching the back of his head. After what happened with Natasha, the Huffie prefect, the Arthimancy professor, Selena, he wasn't too sure he was a big fan of girls at the moment.

Violet's eyes lit up a bit. "Yeah, you don't need a date of course. Some people go alone or take friends." she replied. "But most of the boys are taken, so I don't know who to go with." And she majorly wanted a date. Or else she would hide under a table or something.

Diggy nodded. "Yeah I hear all the good guys are taken," he muttered. It didn't surprise him that no one wanted to go to the ball with him. He could barely find anyone that wanted to be friends with him.

"Aw, your a good guy! I'm sure a lot of girls want to go with you." she replied. At least Violet would. "I would love to go with you as friends." she said in a reasuring tone and a nod.

He gave her a small smile at least she was trying to be nice. "We just met how can yo be sure I'm a good guy?" he couldn't help teasing her a bit. "Is it a date then if you go with your friends?" He wasn't sure.

Violet giggled. "I can just tell your a good guy." she replied. "I'm not sure if its a date if you go with your friend, I guess its only if you want to make it a date." she replied with a shrug.

Diggy smiled. "Well thanks." At least she was being nice. He nodded well that made sense. "Oh ok," he wasn't sure if he was supposed to ask her to the ball or what. She said she would go with him but that she would go as friends, but they had just met. Were they friends already? He looked at her waiting for her to ask him to the dance. At least he would know if his hunch was right or wrong.

"No problem." she said with a nod. Now the hard part. They both needed to go with someone to ball... "Do you think we should go...?" she trailed off wanting him to finish,

He looked at her as he shuffled his feet. He didn't know if he wanted to finish and he nervelessly scratched at the back of his neck. "Should we go together?" he just put it out there.

"I'm fine with it, if you are." she replied. Awkwardness. She didn't think she had a more awkward moment in her life, welllllll dance lessons was pretty awkward. But that was a different story, she looked back him with a smile.

He just knew his face was burning right now, he just knew it. This was worse than dance lessons with Abbi, whom he still thought had been taken over by pod people. "Oh um...sure. If you're you know......cool." He found something very interesting on his shoelace as he talked.

"Yeah, I'm cool with it." she replied. Okay, worse than dance lessons, definatly worse than dance lessons! But at least she finally found someone to go with, which was gooooood.
