Rolling her eyes at the other two Slytherin girls dumb and dumber, Evelyn maneuvered her way to a generally good spot where she could protect the group and be safe from the caterpillars, eggs, and seeds at the same time.

No more tripping and sliding!

Seeing a few lights headed towards them, Evelyn smiled slightly before bringing up her wand and creating an upwards arcing flick. "Protego!" she said, confident that her shield was able to block most, if not all, of the spells headed towards them.

Which they did, of course. Her protego shields have grown stronger since she first started out with them two years ago. However, she saw it definitely fail after the last spell hit. Thankfully there were only about three or four spells headed towards them and not anymore.

Her eyes however, now were trained on the shoe lizard. It was like, inching closer or something.

What were they doing!?

Stepping on caterpillars! That was just wrong, and Destiny did not like those girls for that reason alone. "They have feelings too, you know." she muttered to herself, looking down at the floor. Hearing a few more pops, she lifted her head to see if any of their beach balls had popped. None! That meant they were AWESOME! Yup.

She gave Evelyn a smile as she shielded everyone from the spells being shot from Truebridge. Glaring a hole in the caterpillar killers, Destiny ran around kicking the poor critters away from them, so no more would fall victim to another shoe.

That lizard should steal their shoes next.

Alex snorted at the glare she and Selena were getting, "Hey I didn't mean to..at first. They just urgh disgust me." She eyed the lizard wearily, "Who wants to kick the next lizard?" She then glanced at Selena remembering her question in Transfiguration, "My first name is Alexandrie, though 'Alex' works to."

Selena sighed. She cast a protego charm. "Okay, fine, I won't step on anymore caterpillars!" Selena said, she really hated those things though. "Ooh, lizard, can I keep him?" Selena said jokingly as she picked the little guy up and threw him somewhere else before noticing the crickets. "Ew,,, more bugs..." Selena said a bit feebly. She turned to Alexandrie... or Alex, as she preferred to be called and gave her a smile before looking back. There where other things to take care of... She hated bugs...

Alexandrie snorted at the joke amused, "Only if he eats your shoes and not ours." She repiled swatting at crickets seriously bugs? Alex hated bugs with a passion before returning the smile. She hoped that lizard didn't land on anyone's head..again.

Selena sighed. "Please, he couldn't hurt a thing," Selena said as she looked around again. She noticed a beach ball about to be slashed. No, no, no, no!! "Contego!" Selena said as she quickly protected the beach ball. Victory would be theirs!! Buahahahaa~

"Unless he pulls out someone's hair like that girl." Alex told her pointing towards the girl who had the egg eating lizard in their hair. Alex eyed her wearily did she just hear a- Alex shook her head she was hearing things. "Well you're going to love Care of Magical Creatures if you love Lizards this much.." she muttered lowly eyeing the two lizards she threw, she was suddenly very glad she was a Slytherin.. She would hate for that to happen to her.

Selena shrugged. "Actually, I only like lizards because of the memories that they give me," Selena admitted. Like her beautiful dragon back home... Liliana... how she missed her darling dragon. She sighed and kept her eyes trained on the balls to prevent them from being slashed. "I'm not really all for Care of Magical creatures..." Selena admitted. Some of them were just disgusting.

Alex grinned, "Same here some of them are just ugly creatures, no offense lizards you're all very cute." Alex was keeping an eye out for the Professor he might attack at any moment..and she was keeping an eye out for the balls of course.

"Yeah..." Selena said as she looked around some more. You'd never know when someone else shot something at you. "Some of the creatures are horrid," Selena said idly.-

She kept a ready wand in front of her, "Yup, mostly worms..I hate any type of worms..creepy little things." She shivered still keeping an eye out.

Darn! They had lost another ball! Where were all the Huffies? Why were there only two people helping her right now?

As things come flying at her, she quickly cast "Impiriano!" and then went back to her zig zagging wand movements and casting "Contego!" on their three remaining balls. The slytherins, it seemed, were in the lead, but Cadence couldn't think about that. She watched her balls fly through the air and couldn't help but think about how at least for now, Truebridge wasn't casting anything at the Hufflepuffs, and they could focus on protecting the balls.

Selena's wand was at the ready and her eyes were fixed on all the bouncing balls. "Yeah... worms are disgusting," Selena agreed. "Of all these animals here... why couldn't he get some dragons... or snakes?" Selena muttered. "I like dragons, I like snakes... but all he gives are bugs," Selena sighed.

Alex snorted smiling, "Because Snakes and Dragons are too tempermental, one wrong move and they would attack us." She thought it was a good point after all dragons were down right deadly if angered and Snakes were no idle threat. "But seriously i'm tired of all these bugs." Alex bursted out angrily wishing she could just do something other then shield.

Frowning at the chatter behind her, with her wand still up ready to cast another shield, Evelyn took a quick peak to glare at the two chatter boxes.

"Hey! Pay attention why don't you." Even though they were talking about dragons, which she loved IMMENSELY, she didn't need one of their beach balls popping either. Ugh, switching may have been a bad idea.

And...

Were there crickets or something in the room?! That noise was obnoxious!

"Dang!" cried Patroclus as the first red ball became a casualtiy in the game. He needed to re-address all the sheilds on the playing field "Contego Red Beach Ball! Contego Red Beach Ball! Contego Red Beach Ball! Contego Red Beach Ball!"

He had to catch his breathe, but he did not have time as Truebridge sent hexes, in the Gryffindor's direction, "Protego!" Patroclus cried, an watched as the hexes hit his sheild charm.

"Hmm? Really?" Selena said. "I've never seemed to haev a problem with them before..." Selena shrugged. As a matter of fact, snakes understood her when she spoke to them... It was quite odd, really. "The bugs are really getting on my nerves," Selena admitted.

"I am paying attention, for your information, I haven't even looked away, I'm just talking while watching to, it doesn't mean I'm not paying attention," Selena snapped. She was staring at the balls, making sure none of them went remotely close to the armour, so she shouldn't be complaining. Besides, who didn't like dragons? They were amazing!

Mina frowned a little as she noticed they only had two beach balls left. Was she the only one even trying any more in her house? That just wouldn't do in her opinion.

Spotting the two remaining beach balls, she aimed for them. Focusing as hard as she could, even though she knew it wasn't completely necessary, she waved her wand in a broad zig zag motion and cast. "Contego blue beach ball!"

With her wand still raised, she watched the other beach ball as well as their remaining two. Her house was last and that really didn't settle right with her. She needed to be more than prepared to protect the beach balls if they had anything hope.

Noticing the random insects and the lizard, she cast a Protego at them. She might not be a huge fan of them, but she didn't really want to see them harmed at the moment.

Turning her full attention back to their beach balls, she waited.

Alexandrie froze looking at the girl, "Would you say..snakes act oddly around you?" Alex was nervous being pureblood she knew who the Riddle family use to be. "We are, we can do both we haven't missed yet." she told Flores in a chipped tone looking for the third lizard..and the Professor ah there the Professor was.

Selena gave Alex a quick glance. "Odd? No, not really, though they are quite nice to me," Selena said simply before turning her attention back to the balls. Alex seemed a bit nervous to Selena, she wondered why...

Eep!

Gold brought her wand down, in a zig-zag. "Contego red beach ball! Contego red beach ball! Contego red beach ball!" The four, red!balls that were still unhurt bounced away, far faaaar away from the danger-zone. Somewhat disappointed that one of them had burst, she bounced the rest of the balls even further away, from the suits of armour.

-- and then Professor Truebridge had cast. Protego, Gold cast, drawing up her shield to protect herself from any and all hexes.

One red!ball down. NUUU! But at least the other four were completley safe. Gold shook her head, eyeing them.

Alex gave her the questioning look, "Snakes are nice to you and you don't find it odd?" She asked in shock if she was even near a snake it would probably try to attack her. Seriously people now a days. She put her attention back on the Professor and the Balls.

Selena was honestly confused. "I don't find it odd at all... they kinda bow their heads down a bit at me too," Selena shrugged. They were cute, so she didn' t really care. Besides, it meant nothing... she continued to focus on the green beach balls.

She lowered her voice to only so Selena could hear her and whispered, "Do they speak to you?" she asked slight fear in her voice she had heard the damage the last one had caused. Her wand was still at the ready eyes bouncing everywhere ready for an attack. Books she thought sighing fearing something that was misunderstood like her..It didn't matter she thought determinedly.

Selena noticed that Alex had lowered her voice considerably. "Why yes... they do..." Selena said slowly. But how did Alex know? She decided not to press matters. She just focused on the balls and hoped they didn't fall.
