HAHAHAHA!

Destiny had totally tricked Evelyn.

Or so she thought..the lizard really WAS attacking Evelyn! Even though it was slightly amusing, she couldn't help but stare wide-eyed at it. If..that lizard tried to eat Destiny's shoe, the thing would have definitely be kicked across the room..like Evelyn JUST did! Destiny ducked quickly, and turned to see it fly towards the Gryffies! Oops.

She couldn't watch the lizard anymore since she had not only flowers falling on her, but butterflies, too! "Revertoscutum!" The shield changed the flowers into more seeds, and the butterflies into..caterpillars.

Another oops.

Destiny stepped on a caterpillar.

Finally...FINALLY...making it to her feet, Evelyn sighed in relief before looking around for that creepy little creature.

But, apparently, that wasn't the only creepy little critter coming from out of nowhere. Feeling something hit her shoulder, Evelyn jumped slightly before flicking whatever it was off. And it felt...like a big hairy something too. Spiders?!

Frantically looking around, she noticed that they were not spiders, but caterpillars and...more seeds. Oh joy. Flicking another one off from the top of her head, she noticed someone with bright red hair taking something off of her own head too. Oh, Gold. And she found the lizard.

Just as long as the lizard stayed over THERE. Sending a guilty smile towards the Gryffindor prefect, the Slytherin turned back around, taking a quick step out of a puddle of egg stuff before turning her attention back to the beach balls.

And Destiny better have stepped in the egg stuff and not what Evelyn thought she stepped on...

Though Gold had protected the ball, Patroclus couldn't deny that he really badly wanted to send a well aimed blasting spell at these annoying suits of armour.

But alas Professor Truebridge did say shield charms only.
"Contego Red beach balls!"

Grinning she watched as the chubby lizard made off with her shoe. "Your welcome." She mumbled to him, glancing down at her feet. She only had one shoe on and if felt weird. Take the other one off, maybe? Yes. She slipped out of her other shoe and tossed it towards her bag, wiggling her socked toes. Much better.

Arya stole a glance at her beach balls that were thankfully safe, when she felt something flowers raing down on her and butterflies flying around. She steped to the side, squishing a few flowers under her once clean socks.

Now that the shower of flowers and butterflies had ceased, she pointed her wand at the yellow beach balls to strengthen her shield, when she was surrrounded by birds. Swatting a a few, she turned her wand on the little creatures and said, "Revertoscutum."

When the birds hit her ice turquoise shield, they were instantly turned to eggs, which you she knew would happen. She did however forget about gravity and wasn't prepared when the eggs rained down on her and her house mates.

Great. Now she was shoeless, wet and covered in eggs. Just the mental image brought a big grin to her face. Focusing back on the task at hand, she strengthen the shields around the yellow beach balls while trying not to slip on the egg/flower covered floor.

One of the suits of armour tripped over and fell.... on a shielded red beachball. Would the shield hold up long enough or would the weight of the armour burst it? It slowly... slowly squeezed free... but would it make it? The shield was weakening.

Truebridge duplicates the lizard that is running around stealing shoes. Soon enough there are three of them.

A blue beach ball is squished. An popping noise is heard and Ravenclaw are down to three balls. Two of them bounce up in the air again and the suit of armour which has proved itself to like the blue beach balls best of all, starts to amble after them.

One of the lizards decides it doesn't like shoes and starts eating all the egg yolk everywhere, even where it happens to be in hair or on robes.

Two suits of armour collide with one another, an almighty crash sounds through the duelling arena as they fall... two green beach balls and a yellow one right in the way of falling armour!

The shoe lizard... er... Mrs. Sommerfield, looks for more shoes. Or ankles. Or both.

Truebridge pelts the students with little pellets of ice and conjures some ropes.

Patroclus' eyes widened as a suit of armour began to fall directly above a red ball. The scene transpiring before him, appear to be happening in slow motion.
Focusing hard, his eyes slits of pure determination, Patroclus cried "Protego!".

The sheild charm, hits its target the moment all previous protection of the faded. with an increasing sense of relief he watched as the ball rolled from underneath the armour suit.
A whistling noise behind him, made Patroclus turn, ropes and ice were flying straight at him, all he could do now was hope that the ball for the moment was safe as he cried "Revertoscutum!"

Ew! Ew! Ew! There was slimey egg goo all over her robes, and now there was a lizard trying to eat her, apparently. She quickly shrugged off her egg-covered robes, keeping an eye on the balls. One of them had now bounced so far away it was a bit out of casting range for her. There was only one thing to do: she had to get closer. She quickly cast a strong revertoscutum shield over herself and ran up toward the dueling platforms. She got as close as she could to the platforms. Jumping in the air, she gave her wand the little zig zag movement and said, "Contego Beach Ball!" The spell hit the ball and went flying back up in the air. She quickly recast Contego on the other beach balls.

Alexandrie realised one of the lizards would head for them. "Guys unless we're switched and it's our turn to protect the green balls then focus!" Ropes..Ice..Seriously? Alex groaned. "Any Bright Ideas?" Alex asked sarsatically.

Arya watched Candace dodge the suits of armor while trying to whip the egg of her face. She didn't bother to get them off her robes seeing it mixed with the water and was ingrained in the fabric, nothing a simple cleaning spell couldn't fix when the game was over. She was about to help Candace when she saw ropes and ice coming towards her. The other shields not coming to her mind she gave her wrist an easy upwards flick. "Protego."

The shield held up against the impact of ropes and ice, though she wasn't skilled in shielding others with it, so her housemates were not protected from the ropes or ice.

Now something was.....licking her socks?

Giggling (cause it tickled), she looked down and pick up her foot and the lizard that was now attatched to it. She couldn't just shake the cutie off, she might get hurt. So instead she decided to give her the sock, seeing how they already had her shoes. Pulling the sock and attached lizard of her foot, she played a little tug of war with the cutie, just for laughs, before letting her have the sock.

Great, now she had one bare foot and another socked one, both covered in eggs, flowers and caterpillars. Not that she minded the squishiness. Arya decided to keep the other sock in case the other lizards decided they wanted to come back for more and went back to defending their yellow beach balls.

Selena groaned. Oh wells, at least she liked lizards. She kicked off her shoes, if they're going to steal shoes, then might as well just give it to them right? "Contego green beach ball," Selena said as she performed the correct wand movement the repeated it for the second one so that the two swerved up and away from the armour.

Eww. Ice was raining down on them and it hurt. Selena cast a quick protego charm. Ouch. And ropes. Ugh. This is the part where Selena feels lie jsut casting random charms everywhere.

Alex sighed the Protego didn't do much to stop all the ice pelting them. "Impiriano!" She waved her wand in the correct wand movement. causing a shield to shoot up around them. That was better. She was amazed however that she had managed that on the first try.

Taking a deep breathe, she looked back up to the platform when hearing another loud noise. Jeez, it seemed like the suits of armour were really getting into this. And seeing their beach balls were in the way when the suits begain to fall....

"Contego green beach ball!" she yelled, pointing her wand at one of them and creating the upwards zig zag before almost doing the same to another...

When hearing one of the girls say something about switching, Evelyn looked over to see well, not only ice pelting them, but ropes heading straight towards them as well. "Revertoscutum!" she said as she stepped in front of the Lufoy girl to block the ropes from the group. Someone else she heard had gotten the other beach ball, so they were safe.

Obviously it was time to switch if she couldn't pay attention to ALL her surroundings. "Switch with me." she mumbled, pushing her slightly towards the platform.

Hearing some kind of slurping noise though, Evelyn looked down to see the lizard eating the egg off of the ground. And, from her leg. Didn't she just deal with this little thing a few minutes ago?!

GET....OFF! Darn lizard!

Alex snorted as the lizard ate eggs..from Floeres leg. She picked one of the eggs from the ground and threw it towards the Professor repeating the Process until the majority of their eggs were towards the Professor then towards them. She acted innocently "Alright." Alex muttered.

"Don't do that to the lizard," Selena snapped. She really did love them, they were so cute and reminded her of her dragon. She sighed. As the ice was shielded from them and the Flores girl took care of the ropes. Selena picked up the little lizard and smiled. "Awwh, it's so cute," Selena grinned. But she sighed, she needed to get rid of it somehow though or the Flores girl would freak. "Sorry, little guy," Selena sighed sadly as she threw the lizard in the professor's direction. Since Malfoy-Lupin had thrown some eggs that way, the lizard would have more to eat, right?

Shaking her head as the Lufoy girl through EGG over at the Professor, but seeing it didn't actually hit him which was very nice, she took another deep breathe, kinda glad that they were paying attention now.

But still, this stupid lizard was starting to annoy her. She had a hard enough time as it was to keep herself from not slipping on the ground either from the egg, or caterpillars, and now she had to watch where her feet went because of this lizard.

Seeing the other girl, Riddle, pick it up and practically bite Evelyn's head off, the Slytherin stared at her in disbelief when she threw him towards the professor. "Oh that's great..." she mumbled, rolling her eyes and going back to paying attention to anything that may be coming their way. "Can't shake it off my leg, but you can alllll for throwing it across the room..."

Selena shrugged. "The eggs over there probably taste better than the ones on you anyways, the ones on you were probably bitter," Selena said, "it was better off on that side," Selena said. Awh, poor lizard, she really liked him. "Caterpillars, ew, can we toast them?" Selena said, she really hated bugs and if that thing came near her, Selena would scream.

Alex snorted amused by the disagreement. Glancing at the Caterpillars she smirked, "It's just a bug, a disgusting one but a bug none the less. We can..uh..squish them but we can't use magic to get rid of them..I think..Ask Flores she's older." Alex didn't like the fuzzy little worm like creatures.

Selena sighed. She put back on her shoes and stomped on one before kicking it off the platform. "Ew..." she said under her breath. The thing was disgusting. "So, Flores, what do you suggest we do with the other... caterpillars?" Selena asked. She hated bugs and stomped on another one before kicking it off. Eww. Selena shivered. It was disgusting.

Evelyn fake smiled at the Riddle girl, trying to not let her words get to her but she could already feel the anger under her skin. Seriously, arguing was not good right now. It seemed the Professor was enjoying the fact that the task was getting worse and much harder now.

"Please, don't step on them." she mumbled, glancing back at the two others, a small wince on her face. Destiny had already stepped on one, and it was really gross. Or at least, that's what Evelyn thought she stepped on. "Just push them away with your feet so you have a good general area where you won't be distracted.."

Like she was at the moment. "And pay attention!"

Alex rolled her eyes at the answer, typical. "A little late for that." Alex told her feeling something getting squished under her shoe. She kicked the rest away from her and the group wrinkling her nose in disgust.

"Don't step on it?" Selena said innocently, "Oops," she smirked as she kicked some of the fuzzy creatures off the platform. They were revolting. Selena sighed and looked around for more traps and spells being sent their way. And made sure all of the beach balls were up in the air, where the armour couldn't reach. As long as the armour didn't throw their swords, they were fine.

After the far away ball was back in the air, Cadence along the boundary keeping them from the platforms toward Arya. Halfway along, though, she saw a Hufflepuff ball about to be attacked by the pointy spear of a suit of armor. Rushing over it, leaping over lizards and ropes and who knew what else, she stopped in front of the ball and said, "Impiriano!" creating a temporary shield against physical objects, like the spear, just as Professor Truebridge had said it would. Turning back to the ball, she quickly recast, "Contego beach ball!" and sent it flying back into the air, making her way back across the barrier to the platform toward the other Huffies, dodging Truebridge's ropes and ice by casting, "Revertoscutum!" and "Impiriano!" as she ran.

Cadence is watching the balls which is fine with Sidney at the moment. Thanks to someone's spell, she's now covered in egg from head to toe. Before she can do anything about that situation, Truebridge decides to pelt them with ice followed by ropes. Sidney points her wand and yells, "Revertoscutum!" at the top of her lungs. A pale blue-green light emits from her wand. It spreads to form a wall around her. The ice is caught in it and melts into water. "Finite!" Sidney quickly removes the spell and counters with a circular movement of her wand, and the Impiriano Charm appears blocking not only the ropes but also the lizard that was climbing up her robes. Sidney tries desperately to maintain her consentration which is shaken when she realizes a lizard had just been chewing on her robes and hair. "That's not cricket Professor Truebridge!" The Impiriano charm gives way. Now one of those pesty lizards on the floor notices the yellow egg yolk all over Sidney's shoes. He scampers over and has a snack. Everything's fine until the little thing bites Sidney's big toe. "That's it! No more Miss Nice Girl Protego!" Her wand flicks up and forms a short arc. Sidney twists her wrist to form a determined flick at the end. An invisible shield forms around her. The lizard is thrown back by its force. Sidney isn't playing now. Her consentration is right on. She holds the charm until she's sure the lizard is away from her.

The red beachball might have escaped the suit of armour, but look, theres another and theres a sword. It burst on the sharp edge with a loud pop.

"Crickets? We can do crickets." Truebridge heard Sidney request crickets and conjured some in her general direction.

A suit of armour catches up to a blue beachball and skewers it. the now flat ball remains stuck on the sword.

A lizard which is accidentally kicked away by the Slytherins as they try to get free of the caterpillars, goes flying through the air and lands in a girl's hair. It clings on for dear life.

The green beachballs are all nicely shielded, except for one which bounces towards a slashing sword.

A pile of shoes is now being guarded by the shoe lizard.

Two Hufflepuff beachballs narrowly avoided getting squished, but another, shielded though it was, soon fell victim to a particularly strong stomp. Hufflepuff lose a ball.

Truebridge casts a few mild stinging hexes at the Gryffindors and Slytherins.

Alex almost cursed before casting, "Contego Green Beach Ball" on the remaning beach ball of theirs. Feeling the stinging hexes Alex frowned casting, "Protego!" with a flick of her wand shielding herself from it. Alex then noticed where the lizard was..she tried not to giggle..really she did.
