Oh yeah!
Destiny was liking this spell even more now that she was practicing it. As soon as she got out of this class, she was going to run straight to the dorms and change Evelyn's bed sheets to..
..nothing.
Listening to The Professor answer Patroclus' question, a frown formed on her face and she stopped practicing the spell. It only worked on PAINT!? Well that was no fun! She wanted to huff and complain, but decided not too. She could STILL use this spell on Evelyn's bed sheets!
She just needed to dump paint on them first.
Now grinning, since she came up with an EXCELLENT solution, she started to practice once more. Tap, circle to the right, circle to the left. "Colorus Fulgeo green to yellow!"
Now she just needed to sneak some paint.

So, they wren't going to make wands, well crud. Looks like flashing paint will have to do then. Holding her wand Marie practiced the incantation in her head first.
Colorus Fulgeo
Colorus Fulgeo
Colorus Fulgeo
Now to practice the wand movement.
Tap (on color to change)
Swish to the right
Swish to the left
Tap (on color to change)
Swish to the right
Swish to the left
Now to put them together
Tap
Swish to the right
Swish to the left Colorus Fulgeo Green to Silver
Oh yeah, this was something she could easily do at the Slytherin / Hufflepuff game. She could 100% support her own house now that they wouldn't be playing Gryffindor. And maybe when Gryffindor plays she will use colors to support Carter, because really if i wasn't for him she wouldn't even bother going to their game.
"This particular charm is the Paint Flashing Charm, so it only works with paint. There are variations of the Color Changing Charm that will do just what you're asking about, though," she answered. "If you're interested in learning more about that charm, feel free to come by my office. I may just teach it during a future lesson, too, though."
Patroclus smiled at the Professor as she answered his question, Professor Carlton truly was a lovely lady!
Patroclus now had to decide on the colour he wished the paints to flash between, listening to those around him, Patroclus surmised many were using their house colours. Patroclus was full of house pride but thought something a little different could be fun.
Point, circle right, circle left, "Colorus Fulgeo".The movement and incantation were easy now, the song he had created in his mind allowed him to do the motions with out think but not it was time to add the extra part.
Point, circle right, circle left, "Colorus Fulgeo, Black to White", Patroclus spoke in a clear voice, repeating he did the sequence again, Point, circle right, circle left, "Colorus Fulgeo, Black to White"
If they were going to an imaginary qudditch match, it seemed Patroclus was going for the umpire...

Josh nodded happily when the professor greeted him back and sat down ready to practice the new spell. Colour flashing charm! Coolness! He could make use of that everywhere because single colour on something was always boring.
Now he was ready to practice the spell so he sat straight and grabbed his hazel wand. But there was something missing: what was he going to cast the spell on? Hmm aha! There was his charms book soooo let's get started.
First he tapped on the book then did a circle movement with his wand to the right then did the same to the left ''Colorus Fulgeo Red to Gold'' heheh yeah Gryffindor.
''Colorus Fulgeo, colorus fulgeo!'' this was fun but then he stood up again when he decided that he had a question. ''Professor we can combine this with the means of communication we discussed and send our loved ones cool messages, can we?'' because he was going to plan something.

Dianna pulled out her wand and gave it a try.
Ok, to the right then to the left. Right. Left. Right. Left.
"Colorus Fulgeo blue to purple!" cool she can imagine how this would be like in a quidditch match.
"So we can also use this not only for banners but certain objects too?" she asked the professor as she lowered her hand.
Simon started too do what the Professor said, "Professor..." Simon started then stopped, he didn't want people to laugh, he was scared what if he was told off for asking such a stupid question, he was also scared he wouldn't be able too do the spell.
The charm the professor showed seemed so cool. Herminny could not wait to try it but practice is always good before you attempt something new she though as she did a circular motion with her wand, "Colorus Fulgeo", but she did not put concentration into it as much as she wanted to she was gonna wait for the professor to the give the ok.
This would be fun Luna smiled to herself. She wasn't really the person that liked bright colours. She liked dark colours like blood red, black, navy, and grey. She decided to practice on her her two favourite colours.
"Colorus Fulgeo red to black," she said moving her wand gracefully in a circle to the right and a circle to the left. This was going well, she wrote it down on a piece of parchment
Luna Star, First Year Ravenclaw.
Incanation for charm: Colorus Fulgeo (colour) to (colour)
Wand movement : Complete circle to the right, complete circle to the left
That should do it. Luna was quite a good student and liked to make an effort if needed.
Brayden pushed her hair out of her face and held her wand out, concentrating. Slowly she moved her wand in a circle clockwise, then one counter clockwise. "Colorus Fulgeo red to yellow!" she declared. "Now I'm ready to actually try this out..." she thought.
Oh how she wished she had known this one three years beforehand, when she'd made that sign for the Quidditch. Flashing colours between black and yellow would have looked so pretty with her rather rubbish drawing of the Hufflepuff house crest. Yeah.
Slipping her wand out, Sarah twirled it between her fingers as she listened to what Professor Carlton was telling them about movement and incantation. It actually sounded a little... complicated. For her anyway. Then again, most things were.
Clearing her throat, she gave a quick cheesy grin to Lori, before concentrating on the task in hand: PRACTICE.
"Colorus Fulgeo black to yellow"
Tap, circle right, circle left..... All done on the desk in front of her. Although thankfully there were no colours there for her to change, so the desk didn't suddenly become yellow. Heh. That would have been funny though.
"One more time - Colorus Fulgeo black to yellow!" Tap the desk, circle with wand to the right, circle with wand to the left.
Ravenpuff | Cap'n Crunch | Bedtime Queen | O Minion, My Minion
A charm to make paint flash different colors?!?!?! "Magic is so cool!" After all, if Muggles wanted to do this, they'd have to use some of those ekeltronic signs that cost so many Galleons.
Keefer's thoughts immediately went to the next Quidditch match. Think of the cool signs he could make to support Hufflepuff! Although, after the way they played in the last match, I don't think they'd need any help. We rocked!
Picturing a massive Hufflepuff crest on a bright yellow field, he pointed his wand in the general direction of the Professor, imagining that it was really pointed at the yellow background. "Colorus fulgeo yellow to lime green!" Who said House banners had to stay with only their House colors? Lime green was awesome!
In all the excitement of his imagination, he totally forgot the wand movement. Oh wait, wand circles. Right-o! "Colorus fulgeo yellow to magenta!" After pretending to tap the banner, he then made a massive arm circle to the right. Any student in a three-foot radius would've been clobbered. Now to the left! He made another arm circle to the left. "Awesome!"
Glancing around, he realized no one else was doing quite as large movements as he was. Perhaps he had gotten carried away? He tried it again, this time with small wrist movements close to what the Professor had demonstrated. That would've done it. And he started to design the most awesomest Quidditch poster eva!!!!!

EEEP! Colour flashing charm!! WAHOOOO!
Lori grinned and decided she was definately going to be using this spell on her banner at the Championship Match, heh. And you know.. She'd dip all of her glitter in paint, and then make that change colour aswell! Wasn't the idea just ... colourful?
Pulling her wand from its holster, she laughed lightly as she watched Prefect!Sarah and Cam doing it, before she attempted it herself. You know... maybe they would fail, and then she could see it! HAH!
Colorus Fulgeo yellow to pink"Tap. Full circle to the right. Full circle to the left. Oh, how she was glad there wasn't any paint on the desk she had just tapped, you know... could have been disastrous.
"Sarrrraaaaah!" She cooed to the girl beside her. "Reckon this means we can change the walls in our dorm to pink?" Lori would like that very much.[/color]

Colorus Fulgeo.
Colorus Fulgeo.
Colorus Fulgeo.
She really need to remember those words. Colorus Fulgeo,Colorus Fulgeo,Colorus Fulgeo. Okay Right. She point her wand to the imaginary painting infront of her before waving it about a bit. Okay She was ready. Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath, and sigh. She made sure her wand was still before circling it right-ways once and circling it leftways once then opening her mouth and saying, "Colorus Fulgeo Green to purple." Just because purple was amazing.

Trixie listened to what the professor was talking about. But now she had to have her own go. Oooh.... Okay so now to turn the paint from Magnolia into..... err..... Pink. Insert happy grin. Because she was in her cheerful mood she might as well have a cheerful colour right? So with clear pronunciation she said "Colorus Fulgeo Magnolia to Pink" and grinned.
Tap. Full circle to the right. Full circle to the left.
Well that wasn't so hard was it? And this may come in handy later in life. Hehe. Cue a huge grin. Why was she extra happy today? Ah well. It was a good thing.
Jimbo will set his turtle loose on you. { The Farley } "That's trademarked, don't use it."
Hm. Maybe the spell could be used for something a little more...out there? Like polka dots.
Well, he'd have to make sure he can do a simple color change before he went on to anything else.
Jimbo took out his wand, which he had kept stowed away until they were asked to use them.
He practiced by pointing at thin air.
Full circle right,
Full circle left.
"Colorus Fulgeo, Pink to Green." A very likely color change for him. Well, minus the polka dots.
He tried it a couple more times, aiming to get the pronunciation just right, since it was always what he had the most trouble with. He figured he should get those mistakes over with while he wasn't actually doing anything.

"The Paint Flashing Charm---that's what we're going to be learning and working with today. As a lot of your classmates mentioned, this charm is typically used on banners, such as the ones you see at Quidditch matches, to show support for your favorite team," she said. She stayed quiet for a moment as she moved from one side of the classroom to the next.
"The charm does just as its name suggests. It charms paint to flash a variety of different colors. It's a real attention getter at those Quidditch mathes," she pointed out. "The charm, of course, doesn't have to be used at a Quidditch match, though. I'm sure if you think hard enough, you can come up with many different uses for the charm. Today, though, we're going to focus on its use in creating flashy banners."
"Wands out, for those of you who haven't already taken yours out. Now I haven't given you anything to practice on yet, but I will soon. We're going to work on the incantation and wand movement first," she said. She raised her wand into the air, ready to demonstrate the charm.
"The incantation for the charm is Colorus Fulgeo, and the wand movement is a tap on the color you want to change...and with your wand still pointed toward the desired object...one complete circle to the right then one complete circle to the left," she said, her wand waving through the air to demonstrate each motion as she talked about it. "For example, if I wanted the red color on a picture to flash gold, I'd tap the red color, swish my wand in a circular motion to the right...then to the left...and say, Colorus Fulgeo red to gold!"
"Now, take a few moments to practice the charm. Just pretend you have something nice and painted in front of you and get a feel for the incantation and wand movement," she instructed.
Iris grinned to herself when Professor Cartlon said that she was on to something. That was good, right? hehe.
When the professor started to explain what they were doing today, Iris listened to her whilst making some notes that she knew she'd need later on.
YAY. Flashy banners! Maybe they'd be able to make stuff for their dorms. hehe.
She took her wand out and looked at it, then copied the professor's movements.
Pointing her wand at a spot on the table, she pretended that it was a piece of paper.
One circle rightways.
One circle leftways.
Iris did this a couple of times until she reckoned she'd grasped it, then tried it with the incantation. (Even though it wouldn't work. There was no paint. hehe.)
Once circle rightways.
Another circle leftways.
"Colourus Fulgeo ... Blue to ... Yellow!" Hehe. Nice bright colours.
Iris looked up to the professor as other people around her practiced. She put up her right hand, "Professor? Y'know this charm... Is it possible to use it to, like, change the colour of the paint to more than two colours? For example, if you wanted the colours to change from red to orange to yellow to green to blue to purple ... so on and so forth.... Or is the charm only restricted to changing it to two colours?" Wow. Iris felt like she'd talked too much then, and her head hurt a little. Hopefully Professor Cartlon would get what she meant though.
And yes, Iris did want to make rainbow paint. Just to prove her brother wrong. Silly him. Rainbow paint didn't exist. Pfft.

Like she had had her cheeks painted, at the World Cup. AND! Too late. Gold lowered her hand, and grinned at the fact that Professor Carlton had chosen this very moment to move on. Oopsies.
Oh. Gold knew this charm. Obviously. But she still gave the incantation a shot. Tap, point, circle to the right, circle to the left, Colorus Fulgeo Gold to Ted. It had sounded pretty complicated, when Gold had first attempted to learn it; but, once you got the hang of the wand movement, it was smooth sailing all the way to the short.
She raised a hand. "Professor, I already know the incantation. If it's okay, can I help people who're having trouble, instead?"
Gold raised a hand. "If we have robes that are fabric-painted though, ma'am, I assume it would work on them?" She asked, politely. Come to think of it, she had never tried the Paint-Flashing Charm on fabric-painted cloth, or clothes. She had mostly used it for banners.
But now she had something new on her mind, for experimentation.
Yep!
Coming to a stop by Gold's desk, Lexi said, "Oh, a charmed hat! I bet that was pretty. It's always fun and exciting to dress in our team's colors." She started to turn and head off in a different direction, when Gold asked if it was alright for her to help fellow students. Gold was a prefect, so Lexi was sure she really knew her stuff when it came to magic. "Oh, sure, Miss Laksh. Thank you. We're about to move on to actual painting, but I'm sure someone may need a little help with that," she said with a smile. Lexi gave Gold a thoughtful expression at the sound of her next question. "You know, I've never tried it on fabric-painted cloth, but since it is made with paint, it would likely work. You should give it a try and let me know what you come up with."

Lexi gave Cameron a shifty little smile. She quickly caught on to what the girl was trying to do, and if she did say so herself, it was a sneaky but clever little move. "Remember, the first step in the wand movement is to tap the color you want to flash, so if you were going to make my walls flash," she said, giving the girl a slight warning look, "you'd need to tap the wall first." As Lexi walked away, though, she couldn't help but think how cool it would be to have flashing walls. She just might call this Cameron girl in to help her redesign a few places...

Thinking through all the colors that could be changed from one to another, and which would look good together, in the back of her mind, she heard Josh asking something...rather interesting. That's a neat idea actually. Sending flashing colored notes!
EekGASP! Brilliant idea in fact!! So much better then the plain ol' colored parchment that she used. Smiling at the idea and now feeling a little more upbeat, she continued to practice the wand movement since she already had the incantation down. The wand movement, not so well for some odd reason.

Oh so you could do more than one color. Awesome!
Twirling her wand as she stared at her notebook and listened to the Professor speak at the same time, Evelyn was suddenly surprised to find a few bottles of paint on her table including some paper and paint brushes. Wooot! The colors failed however. Pink, blue, and yellow. Ugly! But, that was what this changing color thing was for right? To make it better and prettier! Except green did not go with any of these colors without looking completely ridiculous.
The only good thing about this so far was the fact that they could have aprons. YUSH! There was no way she was going to get paint on her clean clothes. Standing up, she walked up to the front of the class to get one of the aprons, almost grimacing at the plain white that she had picked up. Would the professor notice or get mad if... "Colorus Revolvo green." she muttered, using the swish and circle thing they learned in their first lesson to make the apron green. A light green, but at least it wasn't white.
Putting it on, she sat back down and decided on using the dreaded blue paint. At least it wasn't a dark blue that would've reminded her of Ravenclaws. Sky blue. A pretty sky, yet ugly, blue. Brilliant. Using one of the bigger paint brushes, she made three large circles on the paper before setting the paintbrush down.
Now to choose what color to change it too. Hehe. What if she changed it to white? Then it would be like, blinking dots. Yush! It sha'll be done!

Yay! It was time to paint! Mina was thoroughly excited again. Painting was always a fun thing and adding the flashing to it, just made it even more awesome.
Reaching over for a sheet of paper and a nice brush, she nodded her head in thought. She didn't really want to get an apron yet, as she was only going to paint something small and she wasn't about to really get herself all that messy, yet at least. But after thinking about, she placed the brush behind her ear and scurried up to grab an apron.
Upon arriving back at her desk, she set the apron down, taping it as she cast Colorus Revolvo Oxford Blue quietly before turning back to her paper. The apron would go on later, but now she just needed to think of what colour she wanted to start with. Her eyes danced over all the colours of paint, she smiled as they landed on a certain bottle.
Reaching for it, she pulled the brush from behind her ear and started to work. She was kind of excited to try the charm now. The thought of changing the dark green to a dark navy made her smile as she thought about a certain person.
Coming to a stop by Gold's desk, Lexi said, "Oh, a charmed hat! I bet that was pretty. It's always fun and exciting to dress in our team's colors." Alex grabbed an apron pulled out her wand again, did the wand movement for the color changing charm and casted, "Colorus Revolvo Black." and then put her apron on that was now black. She went back to her desk and tried to choose a color, after much thinking she decided on a plain green color, Zane's favorite color as it was. She grabbed a paintbrush, a thing of green paint and decided on what to draw.. paint. This would be difficult to decide Alex realised she finally just painted her name on the small paper. Then she put down the brush and tapped the paint moved her wand in the circles after chanting, "Colourus Fulgeo Green to Silver." Alex smiled as the colors flashed between green and silver, the charm wasn't that difficult to preform, not being that far off from the color changing charm.

"Alright, class, it's time to move on to using actual paint. Now first, I'm going to give you a small sheet of paper to paint. I want you to paint it just one color---any color you choose---then work on charming it to flash another color," she instructed. As she talked, she levitated some paper, bottles of paint, and paint brushes around the room. The supplies divided themselves out and landed quite gracefully on the tables.
"Afterward, we're going to make actual banners with the paint and the charm, so save all your creativity for that. For now, just work on one color changing to another," she repeated. "This will give you an even bigger feel for the incantation and wand movement."
"There are aprons if the front of the room for anyone feeling as if they may need one," she said, waving a hand toward the box of aprons.
Iris listened to the professor and nodded. EEP. She was DEFINATELY going to practice this A LOT to master the Seven Colour Changing Paint. Hehe.
Nodding in understanding, Iris made a note of what Professor Carlton'd just said, for later on in the lesson.
OOOH. Time for actual paint charming. YAY. Iris actually really couldn't wait to practice this charm. It looked REALLY fun. Pfft. Aprons. Iris didn't need an apron.
Picking up her piece of paper and a brush, Iris looked at it. It'd been a long time since she'd painted... Dipping her brush in some of the orange paint, She splodged it on the page, making sure that she painted it right-to-left so she didn't get any on her hand.
Silly left-handedness. Always getting in the way.
Then, when she'd painted a big enough splodge on the page, Iris put the brush down and picked up her wand.
Iris tapped the paint, which'd seemed to have dried very quickly, and then did the movement.
Full circle right,
full circle left.
"Colourus Fulgeo Orange to ... Purple!" Hehe. Purple was a pretty colour.
She frowned as the paint didn't change colour. Maybe it was because she'd hesitated when she was thinking of a colour?
Picking up her wand again, Iris repeated the movements; a full circle right, and then a full circle left. "Colourus Fulgeo Orange to Purple!"
Iris grinned as the colour changed to purple, even if it was an icky shade of purple, and then back to the bright orange.

Actual paint! This was the part Destiny was looking forward to the most! Not because she was going to try to steal a bottle of it, but because she was just about to BURST with creativity at the moment.
Paint would help with this.
As the paints were levitated towards her, she resisted the urge to do grabby hands towards all the colors she wanted. She didn't want to look all suspicious and have Professor Carlton KNOW she was up to something.
Even though she wasn't.
Not yet anyway.
She decided she didn't want an apron. Nope. If she got paint on her clothes, she would just use this snazzy charm and make the paint splatters flash different colors. Evelyn would be totally jealous, since she was protecting her clothes. Scooting the paper closer towards her, she picked up the paintbrush and from RIGHT under Evelyn's nose, she snatched the bottle of yellow paint, and immediately poured a blob of it onto the paper.
Twirling the paintbrush in the blob of paint, she snickered before poking Evelyn with her finger, "Look what I made. It's a Huffie."
Or a camel.
But they were basically the same thing.
