Charms Lesson 3: Flashing Paint Charm
|
Wheeee! Gold was in a good mood. The term was drawing to a close, yes, but it had been a nice one. She had gotten back into the loop, dyed her hair twice, learned much, much more than she could put into words and, most importantly, she was happy. Had been happy, for a couple of weeks, now. Because she was starting to realize that life was truly back to normal. So, when she stepped into the Charms classroom for the day's lesson, she beamed at the changes in it, took a seat and, plopping her bag down on the empty one next to her, cheerfully waited for Professor Carlton to arrive. Good day, good day. |
Chris walked into the lesson quite pumped. He had grown to love Charms this term the main reason for this was Professor Carlton. She was really cool and her lessons were always eventful. The Head Boy walked into the classroom, took one look at the tableclothes and rolled his sleeves up. "Might aswell prepare." he said out loud with a grin. Sometimes messy was fun. Now to just wait for others to arrive, and the Professor. Before he tooka seat however a glint of red caught his eye causing him to turn around. Gold was sitting there not too far from where he was. "Hey Gold, mind if I sit with you?" he asked his girlfriend with a chuckle. It was still good to ask. |
Lori skipped into the classroom, and quickly took a seat the opposite end to her best friend. Heh. If she sat anywhere near her, you know.. They'd CHAT! And then end up in trouble, and then Goldie would be all.. mad? EEEK! Pouting at the thought of her best friend mad, Lori took seat at a wooden table and took a quick glance down at her fingernails. Ew, they needed painting. -- But now was most certainly not the time. |
Alexandrie entered the Charms classroom and looked around with slight dread, so far all she could see was two Gryffindors and a hufflepuff, one of which was the prefect.. Gold was it? What kind of name was gold? Alex sat in her same.. spot glad it was away from the two people who she barely knew, one she remembered from Arithmancy Class, the one who liked to try and mess with first years heads. She wondered if Zane would attend this class hopefully so because she didn't want to be here all alone, it did seem after all that they would be working. |
Her mood became better as the week went on, but Evelyn could still tell that she just...wasn't in the mood today. Bleh. walking into the classroom with a big sigh, the Slytherin paused and looked around the room with her Whatever. Not likely though, since it was just a guess. Walking towards the side table near the back, Evelyn plopped herself down on the chair and well... Head. Meet table! |
Willow walked into Charms class and took a seat at one of the wooden work tables up at the front. She was beginning to find that next to Potions and Astronomy, Charms was proving to be one of her favorite classes. |
Jacob walked into the charms room slowly, he was just in a sleepy weird mood today. Jacob was really tired for no reason, it was so odd. He saw the table cloth covered tables, he took a seat. Then looked over at the board, thaey were to start shortly but the professor wasn't there... what ever. Jacob leaned back lazily, waiting for the class to start. |
Chris and Lori <3 Text Cut: Quotes! CHRIIISS. Gold would have waved to get his attention, but he had seen her before she could. She nodded, the kind of nod that said there had been no need for him to ask, and gave him a pretty, little smile. "Of course," she said, glad that she would have company she knew. Even though getting to know relatively unknown or new people can be pleasant, too. She caught sight of Lori, then, and pouted when her bestie sat FAAARR away from her. One of her besties had decided not to return to Hogwarts next term, and the other had not sat down with her. Gold had every reason to be had. Had she done something to offend them both? Pouting, she waved to Lori. Sooo. What would this class be about? |

Then, after exaggeratedly saluting everyone in the class he walked to choose himself a seat and it was when he found Evelyn, her head on her desk. ''Psst'' he poked her slowly ''Are you okay?'' |

Turning her head slightly so she could take a peak at who it was, the Slytherin immediately sat up and brushed the hair away from her face when she saw who it was. "Yea. Yea, fine." she said, smiling slightly before looking the other way. Yup. She was fine. Well, she was fine now, but well...yea. Taking out her Charms notebook and pencil since she lost her funky quill surprisingly, she placed them on the table in front of her before...waiting. And staring at nothing. Meep. "Are...you okay?" she asked, raising a brow as she turned to look at Josh. |
A back door toward the far side of the classroom opened, and Professor Carlton walked inside. She was wearing a plain white apron covered with splatters of...food? Paint? Markers? Hmm...one could never really tell at this point. Whatever it was, though, was also on her arms and hands, but that didn't seem to bother the professor. As she walked to the front of the room, she untied her apron, tossed it into a little cardboard box, then retrieved another one. This was nice and clean and had none of that...whatever it was...all over it. "Good afternoon, class. We'll give the stragglers a few more minutes then we'll get started," she said, eying the door as she talked. |

Sitting beside him, he placed his Charms book and his wand on the desk before him as his eyes still were on the Slytherin girl. What was she doing? Staring at...where? The boy looked around to see if there was something flying around that might have taken her attention but no there was nothing. When she repeated his question with that expression on her face it became all difficult to understand for the boy. Then he saw them: two black eyes instead of the hazel ones...''I am okay. But are you sure that you are...fine? I see you are...'' Quote:

Looking back up to him, she smiled warmly as she looked into his own eyes for a moment before hearing the Professor start speaking. At least she still had her mind to her own. For now. She was about to say something to Josh, however, he stood up quickly for some reason and spoke to the Professor. Weird. She thought he would've only did that for Bunz. Pffft. Now she had to watch for the Charms professor too? Shaking her head, Evelyn smiled at the professor for a split second before opening her notebook and doodling until the class started. Quote:
Yea, she saw what was on the previous apron she wore. Bahaha! However, she didn't know what it was. Could've been anything. |

"Hi!" he was cheerful, even though he was in charms class, because Gold was here. Gold was a good reason not to sit at the back of the class. |

Lori had never been good with parting, which was probably why she was sitting on her own right now. Away from one of the most important people in her life. She knew distancing herself wasn't good, but it also helped. She hadn't spoken to Brody in atleast two weeks now, purely because she just... couldn't. It didn't help that Brody's bed was right beside Lori's, and Brody had frequently tried to speak to her. It wasn't her fault. Lifting her head to look from her nails at Goldie, Lori gave her a little smile, and waggled her fingers in her direction. "Can we speak after class, please?" She mouthed, deciding shouting about it in class wouldn't be great. Nope. Pouttt. |

"Good Morning Professor" Trixie chimed as she walked into the Charms classroom. She liked Charms, and the girl happened to be in a good mood today. So she was excited for the days lesson. Not that she wasn't usually excited But at times when she was more focused on the other things that effected her life. But that was another story, so enough of that. "Hows life treating you?" she asked sweetly before looking around to see where to sit. Okay now where should she sit? The girl was a bit of a swot. Near the front was a good place for her. Hehe. She just hoped her friends would be around soon, otherwise she'd be a little lonely. Ooo Lori was here. She smiled at the Hufflepuff because she didn't know here that well. They'd spoken on occasion. And twitter. Cue shifty eyes. |
... because editing my post from 10 minutes ago, would be silly. Lori smiled as the Professor walked in, and she gave her a cheery grin, and a waggle of her fingers again, before greeting her vocally. "How are you today, Professor?" She smiled again, this time because she realised how much she did like this Professor. Yes. Yes she did. |
Fallon practically ran to Charms, which was rather hard in the heels she was wearing. She was so glad that she wasn't late. She smiled at Professor Carlton and grab a seat near the middle of the classroom. She really iddn't want to be up front. |
Freeman resented being referred to as 'a straggler'. He was on time. Class had not started. It wasn't even the top of the hour yet. Phbbbbt. "Good morning, Professor," he greeted, hiding a rather cool tone. It was expected to greet your professors. He would meet social expectations, even if he didn't know if this class would be meeting his expectations. He sat next to a girl who was wearing rather large, impractical, purple shoes. With studs on them. He pointed. "Excuse me," Freeman couldn't help interject, "Are those going to be beneficial to the learning environment today?" |
Mummy,Hubbeh + Chariiii<333 Cameron actually LIKED charms. Shocker? Yeaaah. But she traipsed into the classroom with a small smile and looked around. Oooh! Professor Carlton was her favourite. She had CUUUUL hair. Maybe she'd go pink one day. "Haaaai Professor!" She greeted brightly, "Are you having a good hair day?" It must've been hard to maintain the err.. pinkness. Quote:
That was hardly possible really.. "Can I sit?" She asked, feeling like she should ask just incase she actually wanted to be alone.. Quote:

"Want company?" She asked, trying to be friendly. |
Amy jogged into the classroom and stopped, there were no desks, odd? she thought before putting her brain back into gear, hello professor she said as she made her way to a work table and taking out a notebook, quil and wand |
