Trixie jumped as she heard a very familiar voice. "Blimey Patrick please don't do that again" she said a little shaken. She returned to normal as she looked up at his face. "No the weirdness of that portrait has led me to talk to myself" she said turning back to Barnabas and shaking her head a little. "Anyway, what brings you here?" she asked grinning like a cheshire cat.

Patrick chuckled as he looked to see he had frightened her. "My apologies Trixie dear," he said with sarcasm. He didn't know she'd actually get freaked out by him coming up behind her. Pfffft. Girls. He looked up at the portrait. Wow that thing was creepy! "Err...I see what you mean," he said and looked away from it. "Oh I came all the way from the dungeons up here to explore. And to get some exercise," he explained, tucking his hands in his pockets. "What about you?"

Trixie rolled her eyes but smiled sweetly! "I'm easily spooked" she told him with a flick of the hair and a little giggle. She looked over at the portrait one last time and decided that itw as too weird to continue to look at. "You? Excerise? You don't need it" she complimented him. What was with guys and working out? "Me? Oh well I don't know really. I've been working my way up Hogwarts from the bottom to the top. Just...Exploring" she sighed.

"I'll keep that in mind," he said with a slightly mischievous expression. All the things he could do with that information. He rolled his eyes at her compliment. "I need it. Believe me. My health depends on it," Patrick said with a nod. It wasn't a lie or anything. If he didn't stay in shape then bad things would happen. "Sounds fun," he said with slight sarcasm. He was exploring too.

Trixie frowned slightly. "No that wasn't an invitation to scare me at any given moment" she said giggling slightly. He probably would and knowing trixie she would scream. "Well if you want to be deafened by my high pitch scream then go ahead" she teased him. She tilted her head and looked slightly confused. "What do you mean your health Patrick?" she asked slightly worried now.

"It was an invitation to me," he smirked, already thinking about what he could to to scare her. He was a boy. He couldn't help but make fun of girls even if he was 17. He was immature most the time. "I've heard worse screams I'm sure," he mused, thinking about it. Actually he'd rather not think about it. When she asked about his health he said, "Oh nothing. I'm alright believe me."

Trixie continued to glare jokingly. "Well I'm going to have to keep an eye out for the 17 year old acting like a 10 year old aren't I?" she asked teasingly of course and giggling at the end. She raised an eyebrow. "From what? A cat?" she asked. "believe me my scream can reach unnaturally high decibles" she smiled almost daringly. She turned back to a serious expression. "No Patrick. Please tell me" she begged him. "Patrick if there's something wrong with your health please, I want to know" she said heartfelt.

"Yeah maybe I'll sink down to the level of one of those idiot firsties," he chuckled, thinking about it. He really didn't like them. They drove him up the wall. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. "No Trix, from actual people," he said in a more serious tone. He didn't like joking about it and couldn't believe she dared to push it. "At least your scream wouldn't sound torturous." He leaned against the wall of the ugly portrait and sunk to the ground. "Nothing's wrong with my health so just drop it Trixie," he said in a little more sterner tone.

Trixie nodded. "They're just plain annoying aren't they?" she asked. "They get EVERYWHERE!" she shuddered. "Except Emma because, well she's my younger second cousin" she giggled. She turned serious as he corrected her and not jokingly. "I was just joking Patrick" she replied sincerely. Trixie looked really concerned now. She looked him straight in the eyes with her blue sapphires. "Patrick, I may be blonde but I'm not an idiot" she told him. He was obviously lying.

"Some first year boys decided to break into the 7th year dorms and go through all of our stuff. Since then, I've decided it's time for payback," he said with an angry expression. The more he thought about he realized he had a lot of anger building up in him. Anger that had been building up for sometime now. "I don't take those kinds of jokes lightly Trixie," he added, looking straight ahead, clenching his wand tightly. "Do you not understand I'd rather not share?" he asked irritated she still tried to pester with this.

Trixie nodded and raised an eyebrow. "Really? Well they're just idiots aren't they?" she asked shaking her head. She decided not to pester him anymore seeing as he looked a little irritated, so she let it drop. "Fine" she said crossing ehr arms and glancing around quickly. The corridor was long and that stupid painting was still present.

"Yes they're total idiots," he muttered. He was trying to keep himself out of trouble but he was afraid he was going to do something he was going to regret this term. Patrick sat in silence as Trixie luckily decided to drop the subject. "Look, my life just isn't working out for me," he finally spoke. "I'm confused and angry all of a sudden. I thought this school was going to make things better," he added, still staring down the hall.

Trixie nodded. "Well just don't do anything you'll regret. They are only 11 year olds after all. And well, your 17. Who do you think would get the blame in that situation?" she asked. She turned and smiled sympathetically at Patrick. "I don't think anyones life works out for them all the time. What's up then?" she asked truly caring for him. She didn't like people to be upset or angry or confused. "What you confused about?" she asked hesitantly. She didn't want him getting angry again for asking too many personal questions.

"I know that already Trixie," he said angrily. He wasn't stupid enough to hurt them that much. He wasn't going to hurt them just play around with them. He may have them sent to the hospital wing though. He sat for a minute without a word. Would she really care he was about to complain about a lot of things right now? "I'm confused about life. About what girl to pick. You guys put to much pressure on me. Then my parent's put a hell of a lot of pressure one me. I'm supposed to be married soon and find a job," he told her with a large sigh. "I'm changing without meaning too."

Trixie looked a little shocked at how angry he was today and so she sat down with a huff and didn't say a word for a little while, instead listened to her delicate breathing. She turned and listened intently as he told her what he was confused about. "Well parents are parents. Now that your of age you can get away from the Patrick. Just don't listen to them" she smiled sympathetically. "Which girl?? What do you mean which girl?" she asked slightly confused now.

"You don't understand Trixie, I'm never going to get away from them. They've set my whole life up. Did you know I'm in an arranged marriage right now?" he asked, looking over at her with a serious expression. "And I've only met the girl twice," he added, looking down at his wand, sparks shot out from out it. Sparks that were from his anger. "You, Ella, and Vanessa like me. I've never had that many girls like me in such a short period of time," Patrick said, looking over at her.

Trixie tried a sympathetic smile but it didn't work very well. "You are? Well i'm sorry Patrick. But this isn't anyone heres fault, so please just don't take it out on anyone" she told him seriously. She watched, eyes wide as sparks shot out of his wand. "Patrick!! Please just calm down" she told him panicking slightly. She was a little shocked as he told her that she liked him. "I do??" she said with a little cough. "Well you should surely be flattered" she told him.

"Who said I was going to?" he snapped, his wand sparking again. If anything, he would act without thinking just because of all this anger. He simply ignored her when she started to freak out because of the sparks. He couldn't calm down right now. It just wasn't going to happen! "Of course you do. It's not hard to figure that one out." He clenched his fist in anger and frustration.

Trixie was getting a little angry herself. She screamed a little as a larger spark flew out of his wand. "No please. Seriously Patrick. Just calm it" she said sternly this time. She didn't want to get hurt in this. She smiled weakly. "Oh. I'm that easy to read am I?" she asked, though quite glad he did realize it. She looked away from him for a little while in silence, blushing slightly. DAMN. She wasn't so good at the secretive thing. But those sparks were scaring her a lot.

Patrick was just getting more irritated as Trixie kept pleading for him to calm down. What was it with women? "Believe it or not you are quite easy to read," he said in a low voice. He glanced over at her and saw her blushing. He rolled his eyes at the gesture. He was getting sick of this conversation. He stood up and was ready to leave.

Trixie narrowed her eyes as he said she was easy to read. She had managed to keep it a secret for quite a while now. "Well maybe I don't actually like you Patrick. Maybe you just thing that highly of yourself" she lied to him. His anger was just making her more angry. But then he was standing up to leave and Trixie couldn't let him leave just like that. "No Patrick. Please I didn't mean that" she said grabbing his wrist gently.

"Good because you don't have to like me!" he yelled, rolling his eyes. Did she honestly expect him to care about this stuff or not? Something inside him snapped when she grabbed his wrist. He turned around and yanked his hand back to himself. His eyes burned with anger and he had about enough of Trixie. "Stupefy!" he shouted, pointing his wand at her.

Maddie walked three times back and forth in fron of the big empty wall
'I need to find somewhere warm and cosy' she said each time. After the third, a door appeared, and she pushed it open, leading Timothy inside

Trixie frowned a little as Patrick told her that he didn't care. It made her heart break completely. It was all she needed at this very moment in time. But as Patrick pulled his wrist away from her she felt something that she hadn't expected to feel at all.

She shot back, stunned in mid air and unable to move. Once she had finally come to reach the ground she had fallen right at the spot where the wall on the opposite side of the corridor was. A huge smack and Trixie had whacked her head against it. Everything went dark and darkness spread over her, still unable to move, Trixie had been knocked out completely.

Patrick couldn't believe what he had just done. It took a moment to regain his senses. He just almost killed her! Well he had stunned her but that was just as bad. He blinked once and ran over to where her limp body lay. She still had a pulse but was knocked out cold for sure. "God--" he muttered. This meant he had a chance of getting a detention AND Trixie would hate him forever.

He picked her up and decided he needed to take her to this hospital wing. Now he was going to look all conspicuous. He was such an bloody idiot right now. Without another moment to spare, he headed down to the third floor.
