"Yes. From the second chapter. First assign numbers to each letter. Then reduce each name to one digit. Add those together and reduce it again." He pointed towards the table showing the letter and numbers.

But when she had met him it was like... a couple of weeks ago. He could've easily gotten exposed within that time range. It only takes a few seconds to get exposed, OHMERLIN'SBEARDITWASABOYWITHCOOTIES.

"H-hi... again," she said sheepishly and nervously as she inched farther back into her seat. "And... sureee...." She must have some death wish. "Do you wanna go first?"

Chris had just planned on asking this ravenclaw girl to be his partner and not expecting what reaction she gave him. Not even a second had gone by after his request that the girl literally had some mind melt down, so major it was clear from the outside. Looking at her nervously the Head Boy spoke to the girl, "Umm are you ok?" he said wondering if he was going to have to get the Professor to help her to the Hospital Wing.

But she then sort of got ahold of herself and said it was nice to meet him...again? Had he met her before? Then realization hit the Gryffindor as he put together two and two and her initial reaction. "You're the girl from the Ice Cream shop!" he said with a chuckle. "Well we can talk about that later, we need to go ahead and get started with our readings." he nodded. "Ok to start what is your full name and birthdate?" he put his quill to the notepad and waited.

Then he thought, 'Might as well give her mine too so we can get done more quickly.' Grinning he spoke. "Oh so you can get started on mine...My full name is Christopher Joseph Potter and my Birthdate is December 12th, 2053."

She didn't look too pleased to have ended up with Rae as a partner.... Merlin, if she had Fletcher as a partner then neither of them would have a need to give out their names. They could just laugh and make up something ridiculous or something... Still, she couldn't be his parter in every class. "Okay so er... I think i could figure out your birthday just fine but im still confused on how the numbers go with the letters of the name."

Minister, though, just wouldn't be his cup of tea.

Cadence smiled a warm smile at the boy as he complimented her supposed attributes, according to their calculations. Though, it sounded to her like he was just describing a Hufflepuff, which was kind of cool actually. She wondered if other Hufflepuffs got similar results in their numbers. Funny how the Sorting Hat knew such things. "Yeah! All of that sounds brilliant! Being able to be creative and stuff. OH! And being encouraging, that's the best part. I like to make others feel better," she said, nodding her head in agreement.

When Aiden laughed at her joke about being Minister of Magic, she continued to laugh right along with him. "Oh? So you want to be an Auror?" she asked. Looking down, she reread what the book said about him according to the numbers. "Well, all of these sound like great traits for an Auror!" she said smiling back at him. "I've no idea what I want to be, but I like this," she said, pointing to the part of her description that suggested she go into education. "I think I would like being a teacher. Or maybe a pediatric Healer! Do you think that fits this description? I like kids. And talking to people. Like it said, self-expressive," she said with a small smile.

Others look to you to manage and control the situation. Career/vocation options include bookkeeping, accounting, and work where organization is valued - administration, education, and business." Jen looked up. "Interesting." She smiled.

Cadence nodded when Aiden asked if she thought her descriptions were accurate. "Yes, they sound pretty accurate to the person that I think I am and who I want to be," she said as she glanced down at her book yet again. "What about you? Do you think yours are accurate? Do you think you're a... natural born leader?" she asked, looking up at him. This was the last part that they were supposed to discuss, and then they'd need to be quiet until the lesson moved on. Cadence was not about to lose any house points.

Looking at her nervously the Head Boy spoke to the girl, "Umm are you ok?" he said wondering if he was going to have to get the Professor to help her to the Hospital Wing.

But she then sort of got ahold of herself and said it was nice to meet him...again? Had he met her before? Then realization hit the Gryffindor as he put together two and two and her initial reaction. "You're the girl from the Ice Cream shop!" he said with a chuckle. "Well we can talk about that later, we need to go ahead and get started with our readings." he nodded. "Ok to start what is your full name and birthdate?" he put his quill to the notepad and waited.

Then he thought, 'Might as well give her mine too so we can get done more quickly.' Grinning he spoke. "Oh so you can get started on mine...My full name is Christopher Joseph Potter and my Birthdate is December 12th, 2053."

HA. What a ridiculous question. Was she okay? No she was NOT okay. She, Mercedes Archibald Finklestein was being exposed to cooties at this very second of this very minute of this very hour of this very day. And she was going to die. Finally. She would get cooties and that'd be the end of anyone hearing about Mercedes Archibald Finklestein. So no Ice Cream Boy, she wasn't okay. "I'm... finee..." she squeaked.

At least she wouldn't be going alone. If she was going to die, she was taking someone with her and that meant ICE CREAM BOY!

... Huh. So he didn't remember her. Gee. That was nice. It was really great to be reminded of how forgettable her existence was. "Yeaaahhh... moooooving on. My name is Mercedes Archibald Finklestein and I was born on February 14th, 2056." When saying her birthday, Cedes couldn't help but make a face at such an inconvenience. Couldn't she have been born a day later or better yet, A MONTH later? She liked spring. She liked leprechauns. Why February?

Nodding her head when the boy suddenly burst out with his own name and birthdate. A little bit excite there, arentcha? Moaning inwardly, Cedes grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill and jotted down the boy's name and his birthdate. Goody. She loved math. Blehhh..

Looking down at her parchment she began to make her calculations. Scolding herself for daydreaming while Professor Hadley was talking, Cedes tried her best to remember how it was done. And since she was a Ravenclaw, she of course remembered it correctly and ended up doing it correctly. Ha. Ravenclaw Powa.
