And of course William was partnerless...again. Seriously did he have cooties or something, some kind of secret powerful magic that repelled anyone from coming near him? He just wanted to get this class out of the way, that's all. Not that he hated Arithmancy, he loved it - but he hated math and numbers. After writing everything down he could he sighed, standing up and clearing his throat. "Yo, who wants to partner with me?" he called out in a loud voice, wincing as it cracked near the end. Oh no not again he thought standing there looking like a crackling fool.

"Heyy, Im Isabella Evans, I'll be you partner" She said politely.

He was really beginning to like the warm to the girl and he hoped they could chat after the lesson he could maybe ask her some questions about what she did when she was a first year, Simon quickly got his notepad out and his quill so he could take notes.
"Okay, we'll start with my life path number. My birth date july 5th, 2056", she wote it on the her parchment and motioned for Simon to look on:

"And thus 2 is my life expression number. Now do you think you can manage to figure out you're life path number and expression number or would you like me to walk you through it. Either way I will need you to share you're full birthdate with me and write down you're full name spelled correctly becuase even if you want to try on you're own I'd like to be able to check to see if you're right okay.".

Hmm. She really did need a partner. It wasn't very good having to partner with people she didn't know, because she was very popular little girl. She twisted a strand of her short hair around her finger, as she looked around, before hearing a crackling voice shouting out that he needed a partner. Well that was sorted, because she wasn't going to let this person slip away.
"Mee Meee!" She giggled as she walked over to the younger boy, flashing him a smile. "I'll be your partner." Like the yells of me hadn't expressed that. "I'mn Brody Summers...and you are?"

Teaching?..."That is sure something I want to do, in case my football career doesn't work..." She muttered. Though, the whole thing about being to scientifical, wasn't so true. Annie was curious for naturality, a natural person to always ask and make her knowledge be fulfilled in any way, really...any way, even if it meant her getting hurt.
Aaaand... His head was still connected to his body. YAAAY!! Sighing happily, Ty nodded as she corrected his numbers and read the book excerpt for the Life Path of three.
Ok, so to BOTH of his numbers: o_O
"I'm not organised... And does the last part mean I will be rich? Because I like that," Ty said, referring to the Destiny number. Rich? Well, er, yeah... Uncle James was loaded and his home was a mansion. Money had never really been a problem.
Wait, what? "YOU like football too? Why does everyone here like football?" Ty made a face. Seriously, he just didn't get it - that ball was OUCHY. But yes, back to Arithmancy which didn't involve ANY balls whatsoever. Reading over the eight path number again, Ty felt that he understood a bit more.
"That's me all right!" he exclaimed happily, nodding his head to An. "I'm happy and I can talk to people and I like writing - but then again I don't like big words much. I will make people see JOY!" he said joyfully himself, his eyes wide with amazement and glee. Arithmancy, it was apparent, was AWESOME.
Just like Professor Hadley said. Hehe.

He really wasn't expecting anyone to come forward but he was surprised when someone did. Grinning he sat back down, pleased with himself that he didn't have to run around the classroom like a fool. Chuckling at her enthusiasm he grinned, "Nice to meet you Brody, I'm William Zephram Cullack." he replied his green eyes sparkling brightly. This should be fun he thought. "I take it you've done this kind of thing before, so do you want to go first?" He asked, he still wasn't too sure on his to do it properly but since she was older she could, right?

"Do I what?" she asked raising a eyebrow. If he finished that question with the word bathe, Destiny was seriously going to find another partner..and possibly show him that she does in fact bathe. But, that would require her to take shoes off and she did not feel like doing that. Even without shoelaces, they were still a pain to take off and then put back on.
She really did hope this boy was good at Arithmancy. Perhaps the Professor should have said something about partnering up with someone better at the subject than yourself. That way no matter who Destiny partnered up with they could totally do the whole thing for her! Yeah. He looked pretty skilled in this subject, which was good for her, bad for him. "Partners." she repeated, just because she felt like it.
Obviously she didn't know him. If she had known him, they wouldn't be partners right now! "Right. Ced Cedric Nicolas Leone." she said nodding at his question about being prepared to work, and wrote his name down on the parchment in front of her. Wow, that was a long name. At second glance though, she figured Ced was just a nickname, and quickly crossed it off her parchment. Oops. "You should write my name down, too. Destiny Hekate Shepard. That's Hekate with a K, not a C." She had to make that clear, or her reading would all be wrong! "When is your birthday?"

Alex tried not to be offended, really. The girls body language said it all though. "I'm not a boy i'm a girl. My name is Alexandrie Adrasteia Malfoy-Lupin." Alexandrie was slightly offended with long blonde hair she really didn't think she'd look like a guy.
Kate saw the girl coming. Next he looked to the Destiny Number she had gotten. He gave a smile and nodded. "Yep, I think that's right."
"All right, so.. I believe your Life Path Number is four, and your Destiny Number is three." The Gryffindor flipped through his textbook, eventually finding the explanations for her numbers. "So, this is you, Cadence.." He turned the book towards her so that she could have a look.

Sapphyre sat still at her desk, wondering if anyone would ever approach her to be her partner. Being blind, she didn't want to go up and search for one... She would only just embarrass herself, wouldn't she? So, standing shakily, she placed her palms on her desk and asked aloud, "Would anyone like to be my partner...?"
Adelyn looked from her notes to her textbook to everyone around the room partnering up. She had no idea what she was doing, she had never been good with numbers. Growing frustrated and upset, Adelyn looked desperately around the room for someone who could explain to her what to do.

"I'll give it a go." Simon said as he looked at the older student, "Just don't be mad if I go wrong.
Simon sighed he had a feeling he'd gone wrong somewhere, but struggled on.
Simon just put anything down since he had no idea what he was doing, so what next you added them all together. Simon took a wild guest.
"There we go." He suddenly said to the older student.
After Simon finished and showed her his work she chuckled a little and responded, "Close but no butterbeer. Heres what you did wrong. When you added the date of you're name you should have broken it up into single digits like so:

She hoped the boy had paid attention but either way she hoped this would serve well for Simon as reference sheet. She handed the sheet to Simon and said, "Okay, I hope you've got got it now. Now to move onto the last part of our assignment, sharing what our expression and life path numbers mean. Why don't you look you'res up based on the numbers on the sheet I gave you and once you find you're meanings in you're text book and then you can tell me what you're meanings mean to you and then I'll do the same when you're gone okay".

Oh goody. She was... partnerless. Not that Cedes really cared about that. She preferred working by herself, but given the assignment, she was forced to interact and partner with another person. Oh she hoped it wouldn't be a boy. Glancing around, Cedes waited patiently for some partnerless person to approach her and doom Cedes. She wasn't much of a people person. In case it didn't show.
