A bit confused about the plot? Housemates talking about a mysterious something going bump in the night? Here's where you can catch up on happenings around the Castle, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade -- out of character, of course.

This means that unless your student character heard this stuff from other students or witnessed the actual event, your student character doesn't know about it.

Also, this is a reminder to everyone to only post updates on the school plot here. Please do not post the happenings of your student character in here - that kind of chat goes in the school chat thread.

They can't all be cake walks, can they? I sincerely doubt anyone will die this year, so that's already a silver lining. And perhaps you'll actually learn something. I occasionally did."

After mysteriously disappearing out to the grounds after hours, several students (specifically: Dylan Denver, Jakers Upstead, Tiberius Pryce, Madiison Winloch, Oliver Greenwood, and Miranda BelCanto) were found critically injured.

Earlier, these same students had made trips to the Hog's Head with coupons handed out by teachers who found them in the Staff Room.

A few students found some interesting stuff near the Forbidden Forest. :shifty:

Ivory found a Slytherin Prefect Badge along with a small piece of torn robes.

Furthermore, Destiny found a very suspicious piece of parchment.

UH OHS!

Headmaster Tate finally admits to students that something bad is happening. He's thinking about putting the castle on lock down.

Go here to see that specific post. Though I recommend reading back to when Mr. Masterson enters and go forward.

Jacob found some trash.. Yep, that's trash alright..

Marie found a flask with some initials on it..

Miranda found a piece of parchment that is probably NOT talking about Quidditch..

Someone had plotted this she was sure, because obviously there was no way that that had been there the whole time. Someone had magicked the rungs to close in on her head thinking to keep her here! She was sure of it!

Extra cautious now, she pressed herself back against the wall, and made her way down in a sideways crab walk. Without even noticing, her body out of its own accord used everything at her disposal to help conceal itself. Her hair was darkening subtly to take the hue of the wall behind her, and she was none the wiser.

Her subconscious mind was recalling the old 'Mission Impossible' song playing in time to her sneakiness. But of course that was only her subconscious because the Ivory that was on the exterior wasn't letting her through.

The exterior Ivory had planned and manipulated her timing to coincide with a suspiciously loose screw on a light fixture on the first floor landing.

It was just a matter of minutes, before gravity itself did short work of the lamp sending it careening down the stairs with a crash, leaving her a distraction and ample time to slip out the front door. Something she did quite easily thanks to her small size.

And with a small breeze of spring night air and the gentle closing of the door she was gone into the night.

EDIT: The man who brought Cela back with him has made it to the Courtyard and, as of now, looks as though he's planning to enter the castle. eek!
