Once you've properly alerted Healer Ashford that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical condition, you'll need to proceed to the Waiting Room, the room in which Healer Ashford will look for you when it's your turn to be seen. There is only one Healer (Healer Ashford) on duty, and she will see to you as soon as she can. It's possible that at the time of your visit, many other people may also be waiting to receive medical attention, as well.
Even if your character is in serious condition, though, there's simply no need to worry about the wait time. It's usually very short, and Healer Ashford promises that you'll be seen to and healed within a reasonable amount of time. In the meantime, feel free to sit down or lie across one of the many padded benches Healer's Ashford has put into place so that your wait time can hopefully be a little more pleasant.
OOC: Every character will receive an equal opportunity to see the Healer. Despite how severe you may or may not consider your character's condition to be, please continue to wait your turn rather than proceeding into the Hospital Ward and Healing Area on your own.
Kay listened to them talking as she looked around the room. So many people hurt and some were even missing. Maybe going to Hogsmeade wasn;t a good idea. "Guys maybe we should get out of here before the Healer gets mad." She said smiling at Ema and pulling on Rex's hand. "We can talk about finding boyfriends some where else." She giggled.
ooc: can we get to hogsmeade??
You are right, let's go" Rex agreed with Kay and made sure Emalyn heard him, too.
ooc- Hogsmeade still closed.

Constantine walked into the waiting room with a 3 year old Neptune all cuddled up in his arms as he held her securely to his chest. Her eyes were closed, but he was fairly certain she was faking the whole thing. Whatever, she was silent and not moving. That was always a good thing. Wondering where Ashford was, he took a seat into a chair. He was starting to wonder how odd this must look to other people.

Raiden had stood just outside the door, reluctant to go in before Mr. Masterson had with Neptune. He was being weirdly protective, and he knew it, but... well the candy had come from his pocket. Which made this whole ordeal his fault, kinda. The shaky five year old followed the older man in, his ears bright red and his eyes focused on his bare little feet. He took the seat next to Mr. Masterson, putting his shoes on the floor underneath it (and Neptune's as well, which he'd grabbed before they'd come up).
"Did she fall asleep?" he finally asked, in a tiny little voice.
Neptune was indeed faking sleep. But, really, she deserved a bit of shut eye. She'd been through an ORDEAL. Neptune's three-year-old little body was all cuddled up on Masterson like she belonged there, her head on his shoulder and arms around his neck.
She peaked out at Raiden from her mess of blond hair. He looked SO WEIRD. Like himself, but... WEIRD.
Mmmmm it was warm and quiet in this office, and Mr. Masterson was awful comfortable. She dug her bare feet into his robes and sort of did.... doze a bit.
She had NOTHING to say to ANYONE anyway, so it was for the best. Hmph.

Constantine readjusted Neptune in his arms a little bit, making sure she was still covered by her dress. The way her feet seemed to be digging into his robes led him to assume that they were cold? Hmm. He carefully grabbed the edge of his cloak and pulled it over her feet. There.
"I think so," he responded quietly, leaning his head back to take another little peek at her. Well, her eyes were closed. Eh, she was being quiet, that was all that mattered.

Sapphyre walked in and sat down, the hood of her cloak pulled up and over her eyes and both of her hands out forward, running against the walls and surrounding objects to to make sure she was in the right place. When she found an empty seat, she pulled her hood back a bit. At first, she had been able to see some, but the hex was taking its full effect rather quickly, and she found herself unable to see at all. Stupid Violet...
And then, both hands went to the back of her head, where she was still bleeding profusely. The blood had already begun to run down her neck... And this as the most comfortable school shirt she had! Ugh. This had to be the worst injury she suffered this year. Wiping her hands on her skirt, she buried her face in them and waited, hoping that this new dizziness would go away...
Well, Neptune was quiet, Raiden was calm, and the professor seemed to have them handled. She sighed. Boy, Raiden was going to be mad with her when he found out. She was going to slip out to heal her wounds when the girl from the kitchen walked in. And it looked like she was... bleeding? Geez, what was it with head injuries in this school? She walked over to Sapphyre silently, pulling her wand. "Hey, are you alright? Okay, stupid question. What happened?"

Phyre picked her head up slightly, pulling her hood back on before the older girl could see her swollen eyes. "One of my roommates got angry at me," she murmured, "because I defended someone else she was bullying. Actually, the same one that you saw me arguing with. I told her to go ahead and cast, because I'm not stupid enough to get myself in trouble again. And then she hit me with the Conjustivitis Curse and I fell back and bashed my head on my bed post... And it split open and started bleeding everywhere. It took a while to come down here... So I think I lost too much... But I didn't stop to tell anyone, because that would take a longer time and I just want to be healed right now..."
She sniffled; she could deal with pain, but this hurt. A lot.
"Okay, well pull down your hood," she said, laying a hand gently on the girl's shoulder. "I don't have any blood replenishing potions, but I can stop the bleeding and inspect the wound. At least unlike Violet you had the good sense to come straight here. The girl ran around with a concussion and stopped breathing when I had to petrify her to bring her down here. I also have a mild painkiller, if you would like."

"Alright," Phyre murmured, pulling her hood back down. She tucked her chin closer to her chest and pulled as much hair out of the way as she could. Annoyingly, the gash ran along her scalp, which made it harder to access.
"If you can do that much, it's fine," she murmured. "A painkiller would be nice... And if you can inspect it, then I can wrap it. I'm good enough at that, since I always get hurt. I'm not quite sure, but there might be some splinters in my skin... Which professor should I go to see after this?"
...why was it that Slytherins were always bleeding or dueling? Raiden sleepily watched Lina as she approached that Sapphyre girl from the kitchen fight; his now human ears couldn't pick up the conversation however, so the bleeding went completely unexplained. Still... she was one from his house, and that made her a bit of his responsibility. The five year old scooted off his seat and toddled over to the pair, his bare feet making no sound on the cold floor.
"Linaaaaa," Raiden mumbled, tugging at the girl's sleeve. "What happened to her?"
Roughly, this translated to 'Am I going to have to give out demerits once I've got my normal body back'.
Lina blinked and looked down at Raiden. He'd been pretty quiet... but everything sounded so... clear? Was this what Raiden heard when he had his kneazle ears? She offered him a soft smile. "It was Violet again, apparently."
She moved so that she could see the wound better. "Okay, Sapphyre, I need to touch this gently, and it may hurt. But I will be able to tell if there was any damage done to your skull." She pulled a few vials out of her robes, then selected a full and empty one, measured out a dose, and handed it to the girl. "Here. It's a standard pain killer."

Phyre glanced up and, somehow, blinked. Was that Raiden, but... tiny...? No, it couldn't be. Maybe the Conjuctivitis Curse was making her see completelt different things. There was no way the prefect that she had been ratted out by and then played soccer with was this tiny, cute little thing. Even if they looked almost exactly the same. And... This kid was missing the ears. Yeah. Definitely wasn't him.

"Thank you," she said, taking it gratefully. "Go ahead... I have a high pain tolerance." She paused. "Is there anything...?"
Lina gently started probing the area, getting a good look at it and making sure nothing felt broken. "Anything?" she questioned a little absently, her mind on her task. Well, nothing seemed out of place, and nothing was softer than it should be. She pulled her wand, one cat ear twitching a little as she focused. She started cleaning the wound a little, making sure that there was nothing left that could cause an infection, and started healing it.

Phyre winced, but didn't complain as she was poked. She could feel her wound knitting together, and it was almost more painful than the wound itself. But as long as it was healed, she'd be fine...
Again? Really, again?? Raiden let go of Lina's sleeve as she went all nursey person over the other girl; of course, she'd know how to fix such things. Still, Raiden's little cheeks puffed out in frustration. Hadn't Violet ended up doing work for Kazimeriz because of last time? Did she not realise that it would be worse on her if she kept it up?
"I wasn't this much trouble at Violet's age." A strange statement to anyone who didn't recognise the young man right now. Siiiiiiiigh. "Miss Professor Lupa will have to be told, this is too much. 's bad enough students are turning up injured from unknown causes, we can't have Violet running around adding to it."

... "I'm sorry," Phyre murmured under her breath. So it was Raiden.
"I agree," she said softly. Once the bleeding was stopped and the wound was healed, she cast another spell to clean the area so her hair wasn't matted with blood and hopefully the girl's clothing would be spared. She stepped away, moderately satisfied. "As much as I've been trying to work with Violet on her behavior, at this point it will have to be brought to the attention of our Head of House."
She looked back down to Raiden. "You'll be seen before Sapphyre is. Perhaps we could wait here for her, then once she's been seen we can escort her to Professor Lupa's office. I think considering she has been attacked twice by the same student, one or both of us should be there in case they cross paths again on the way."
"Mmm." Raiden nodded wearily, an action completely out of sync with his tiny body. He wasn't really a big fan of waiting, especially when things like this were happening, but he had a feeling that his small stature wouldn't help anything at all.
At least Neptune was sleeping. And Mr. Masterson was holding her, too. He didn't have to worry too much about her.
"She can't be allowed to keep on doing things like this. It's mean." Not to mention, it was against the rules. Merlin only knew how many strikes the girl had against her already. She'd probably be lucky to not be expelled. "We'll get it sorted. This will be the last time it happens."
Or else. The chibi prefect was too sleepy to joke around.
"I think this is a little beyond mean, Rai." She shook her head, leaning against a wall, most of her usual childish demeanor shed. "The sad thing is, she believes she has to be this way, and acts like she doesn't have a choice. She has no idea what she's doing and is flailing about trying to be tough when she's running around just being a scared little girl. When she's happy she's hyper, when she's not she's lost. And you can see that fear in her eyes. She's just so... scared of the world. And sadly, I think the punishments she's getting don't actually help, because she doesn't understand them at all."

"Thank you," Phyre murmured, smiling slightly at the older girl as she finished. She picked her head back up and drew her hood over it again; she didn't want anyone to see her eyes. And then, she listened, nodding every once in a while. She didn't like Violet. She didn't agree with... whatever her name was... Violet was evil. E-V-I-L. But a very modest evil, which only encompassed the pain and humiliation of others. She wasn't like her ancestor, Voldemort. He was evil, as in the bearer of the apocalypse, mass murderer brand of evil. And there was a difference... but both were evil. Violet was just... the lesser of the two.
"That's no excuse." The prefect let out another sigh and his shoulders slumped. "She still can't go around hurting people, regardless."
He needed a nap. He nodded at Sapphyre and covered a yawn, face turning pink in embarrassment. He was yawning while trying to be all... prefecty and stuff, it wasn't working out well.
"We'll wait for you after." With that, the child tottered back to the seat next to Masterson and climbed into it, his little feet settling on the edge as he brought his knees up to his chest and curled into himself.
Lina glanced after him, muttering to herself. "Oh yes, being scared and misunderstood is no excuse, but being a spoiled brat is. I wish you'd listen to yourself." She shook her head and looked away from him. Dear innocent Raiden... it was because of boys like him that the world needed girls like her.
you live your life just once, so don't forget about a thing called love.
He was so zoned out. He hadn't heard a THING that was going on in the room. He was kinda more focused on making sure Neptune wasn't disturbed. Optimal silence from her was key. He really didn't want her screaming in this place. Ashford would KILLL him.
And now, Raiden was falling asleep? Constantine looked down at the five year curled up in the chair with no shoes. With a sigh, he got up and carefully pulled his cloak off, without disturbing Neptune. He didn't WHY he felt the need to, but he draped his cloak over Raiden like a blanket and then sat back down.
Seriously. He couldn't understand why he felt the need to. These kids were getting to him. Hmmm, yes, that was it.
