"Hmmm ok. Maybe that isn't a good idea," Dylan frowned again. He had no idea what to do. He wished the hot healer would arrive soon. For all he knew Delanie's head might be about to explode. And that wasn't a good thing.

Delanie exhaled. "I'm sorry you're stuck up here with me," she said. "If you want to leave, I understand. You can go."

Dylan shook his head, "I am not gonna leave you here. You hate it. And I wouldn't want you to suffer alone. I can sit it out." Yep he would wait.

"Alright. Well, if you insist," Dee replied. "But thanks. I know it must be rather boring to sit here with me."

"Nah it isn't that boring," Dylan chuckled, "What do you want to do when we get outta here? How about we go grab something to eat in the kitchen?" He could do with a cookie or something. Hot chocolate maybe. Then go to sleep.

Ahh. Food. That sounded- "Lovely. Brilliant idea. We will, once I see the nurse and we can break free from here!" She was ready to leave already; they had been there for entirely too long.

Hearing Carter chuckle made her feel a little better, at least she didn't make him even more sad than he already was. "Well you can talk to me whenever you want, I will listen to you anytime you need me." Listening she was great at, advice, not so great at.

"Wow, both of your parents are doctor's, I bet you never had to worry about being sick growing up." Oh no, another boy who likes to play football. What was it with boys and this sport? "Umm I wouldn't exactly say I have ever played football. I did try to kick one around but that's about it. Evan has been teaching me a little about the sport which really helped me out in muggle studies." If it wouldn't have been for him she probably would have gotten a T on that homework assignment. "Do you know Evan Cartwright? He is a huge football fan and also wanted to play professionally. He played on a team when he went to muggle school I believe. Maybe you two could play together sometime." Then she remembered she hadn't seen him in several days. This made her feel really sad, she really missed seeing him everyday. "You know, I am really worried about him, I haven't seen him around lately, you don't think something could have happened to him do you?" She had never really given it a lot of thought before but now that she knew students were disappearing she couldn't help but wonder where he was. What if those were his robes found just a little bit ago?

"Oh I knew you played quidditch, I've seen you play before. You're not bad, just don't tell anyone I said that, I will totally deny it," she said with a smile. After all how would it look if her hosemates found out she thought someone from another team was good.

"Let's see, what is there to tell about me? Well for starters I am a Malfoy on my mothers side. Scorpius is my grandfather and Draco is my great granfather. I carry my fathers last name which is Salazar." Might as well get that out of the way now before their friendship went any further. Let Carter decide now if he still wanted to be her friend after finding out who she really was. "I do not have any siblings, I love to fly..... as long as the broom is going forward that is." She laughed a little at this one, someone who loved to fly just fell off their broom and now had a fat lip. "Speaking of flying, I think we have a race to settle, I believe our last one ended in a tie." Sure it was fun bragging about how she almost beat someone who was on the quidditch team but it would be even more fun to brag about winning. Lets see, what else was there to tell about herself. "Oh yeah, I tend to get in a lot of arguments with certain students." Like a certain Gryffindork and Hufflefluff. Maybe she shouldn't have told him that one, she didn't want to scare him away but she figured it was best to not hide things, that was what ruined friendships to start with.

"Yes food," Dylan smiled. "I would take you for cake. If Hogsmeade was open. I will take you for cake next time." Mmmm cheesecake.

Delanie smiled and let out a small laugh. "I'll hold you to that offer, Dylan." She never forgot a food offering!

"Oh I will hold myself to that offer. I love cake," Dylan smiled, "You'd better show. I don't want to get too fat, having to eat two pieces of cake."

Carter laughed again. "Nope. Never worried much about it. They are pretty good doctors. We took a lot of trips growing up to places where they needed doctors. They would even let me help out every now and then." he said.

"No, I haven't met Evan. But I'm sure he's fine. If he wasn't he'd be here. I'm sure he's just been busy." he said reassuringly. But truthfully, you knew could tell nowadays. "It would be fun to play with him sometime. I normally play with Ella. And I'm teaching Mina. We could all have a big game sometime."

Carter chuckled again. "Yeah. Crazy rules that say Slytherin's can't appreciate a Gryffindor's flying skills. And yes, we do need a rematch."

"That's really cool. How is it knowing that your family was part of history?" So maybe they weren't on the good side, but still. That still must be pretty cool.

"ok, Let look for her." Kay said waiting for Rex to point the way.

" How is Emalyn doing?" Rex asked the healer. " Can we seer her now?" Rex asked healer Ashford. " bith Kay and I are worried about her" Rex told the healer.

"Well, lets wait for a minute" Rex told Kay. " I just asked the heaaler about Emalyn." Rex said to Kay. " If no answers, then we will look for her" Rex explained to Kay.

Kay listened to Rex talking to the Healer. She watched the door and when Rex started talking to her she turned. "Ok, what ever you say. I just hope she out soon."

Dee laughed but regretted it because it hurt her head. "Don't worry. I'll never turn down free cake as long as I live."

" I hope Emalyn is out soon, too" Rex told Kay. " So stop worrying" Rex said to Kay.

"That must have been fun, helping your parents that is. Is that what you want to do when you finish school?" Growing up with doctors for parents must have been why he thought she needed to see the healer for her fat lip.

"Yeah, maybe you're right. I'm sure he will show up soon." Now if only she could really convince herself of that she would feel better. "I'm sure he would be up for a game, especially with someone who really knows how to play." Sure he said he had fun when she played football with him but she knew it wasn't the same as playing against someone who really knew what they were doing.

"Oh yes, definately a rematch." 'Maybe this time without Josh, we don't need him falling off his broom again.' "I tihnk I will have to practice though, I think I may have gotten a little lucky last time."

"Oh sometimes it is really cool knowing we are part of history but most of the time it can be a pain. Everyone is quick to judge me because of my family." 'Like Kay who thinks she is better than everyone because she is a stinkin Potter.' "The funny thing is, I never see the bad in them now. Grandpa Draco is the greatest, I can usually always get my way with him, I just have to give him a sad looking face and he gives me whatever I want....most of the time that is." Of course that doesn't work when it comes to non wizarding things, like going to a muggle football match with Evan. She will keep working on him about that though because it she gets him to agree then her parents will definately agree.

"I haven't really thought too much of what to do." Carter said. "I thought about maybe becoming a healer. I worked up here last term with Healer Melita. That was pretty cool. Things are so much easier to fix with magic then with muggle medicine." he explained.

"Marilyn suggested going into quidditch... I'm not sure if she thought I was actually good enough or whether that was one of those compliments you give just because you're dating." he said.

He nodded. "Well I get the same kind of judgments because I'm muggleborn. Who you are isn't the same as who your family is. That could be for good or for bad. But from what you say he sounds like a typical Grandfather."

"Well if you like helping others then I am sure you will make a good healer." From what Marie could tell already he did like to help others, if not he wouldn't have made sure she came to the healer for a fat lip. Plus he had told her he helped someone who had a broken wrist. Yep, he would be good at it.

"Maybe, I don't really know how she thinks but I bet she meant it. I've seen you play and you are good." She said "You could always be a professional quidditch player and then become a healer later. We are always going to need healers no matter when you decide to become one." If he decides to become one that is.

Hearing Carter say he gets judged because of his bloodline made her think of how she use to think. "I'm really sorry that you get judged because of your bloodline, it's not right." Before coming to Hogwart's she was one of those that would look down on all muggleborns. If they weren't pureblood she didn't want anything to do with them. Now she doesn't think that way.....as much. She realizes that maybe her parents were a bit harsh in teaching her when it comes to bloodlines. "Yeah, he is great. He has changed a lot over the years. He's not the bad guy everyone remembers him to be." She said of her grandpa Draco. Now grandpa Lucius was a different story, he would probably never change but whatever, she still loved him.

Peeking her head into the waiting room Gabriella called, "Delanie Chanel and Marie Salazar." She glanced around the waiting room, taking note that it was nearly cleared out. According to the check-in book, Delanie and Marie were the last two waiting to be seen. "The two of you may head back to room one now. I'll be with you in just a moment." A second later, the healer had disappeared back into the healing area.

Hearing her name called Marie looked up to see the healer standing there. Oh no, this meant she actually had to go back to one of the rooms now. Matge her lip wasn't that bad, maybe she didn't need to be seen after all. No, Carter had made sure she got here, she should just go in and get it over with.

Looking over at Carter she said, "Will you come back with me.....Please?" She knew it was silly to be afraid to go back there but she just couldn't get over her fear of seeing the healer alone. What if something went wrong and she was all alone?

"is Emalyn ok?" Rex asked the healer. "Can we see her now" rex asked the healer for himself and Kay.

It was going a lot faster than Kapoor had expected, and the thought of that gave him relief in knowing that in no time at all Miss Kennedy would be healed like the rest. He looked to the side at Miss Kennedy to see that she was tearing up again. Poor girl had been through more than most double her age as had many of the other students in there. He rummaged around his many coat pockets, looking for his purple handkerchief when the Healer called Alexa back.

"Take care, Miss Kennedy." He spoke warmly as he stood up, the waiting room was very crowded and he should truly make room for others who might be injured.

Carter blushed a bit. He wasn't used to all these nice compliments. First she said he would make a good healer and now she said he was good at quidditch. Yeah. It would be nice to play quidditch. But he didn't think he was that good. But... maybe he was. He could try hard and see what happened. He was just a second year after all. And being a healer seemed like an excellent back-up plan. Maybe he could merge muggle medicine and wizard magic where he worker. Now, that would be cool!

He nodded as he listened to stories of her grandfather. You really can't help who you're related to, but it seemed like she had a good family. So maybe there was a little bit of prejudice growing up... but its not like you couldn't grow out of that. Just her talking to him seemed like she did.

Carter looked up as Marie's name was called. It was her turn to go back there. He smiled. She must have been pretty frightened. "Sure." he said. He stood up and waited for her to do the same.

Nodding to the nurse, Delanie stood up, eager to get to the room. She had to hold onto her chair to keep her balance; the sudden movement made her dizzy. Closing her eyes and clutching her head, she exhaled. When she was able to open her eyes again, she did so and said, "Well Dylan, I'll be back soon." She headed to room one.
