| | |  Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors
Banner by: GryffindollOOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first.
Once you've properly alerted Healer Ashford that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical condition, you'll need to proceed to the Waiting Room, the room in which Healer Ashford will look for you when it's your turn to be seen. There is only one Healer (Healer Ashford) on duty, and she will see to you as soon as she can. It's possible that at the time of your visit, many other people may also be waiting to receive medical attention, as well.
Even if your character is in serious condition, though, there's simply no need to worry about the wait time. It's usually very short, and Healer Ashford promises that you'll be seen to and healed within a reasonable amount of time. In the meantime, feel free to sit down or lie across one of the many padded benches Healer's Ashford has put into place so that your wait time can hopefully be a little more pleasant.
OOC: Every character will receive an equal opportunity to see the Healer. Despite how severe you may or may not consider your character's condition to be, please continue to wait your turn rather than proceeding into the Hospital Ward and Healing Area on your own.

OOC: Room two for both of you, please. Reese had her eyes closed while she listened to Jack and...Professor Kapoor? Yeah, she was sure that's who it was. It sounded like him. She listened to them exchange a few words about what had happened to her. The Slytherin was still feeling so tired, so maybe taking a little nap wouldn't hurt her too much...as long as she didn't move or anything that would cause more bleeding than there already was.
She had allowed herself to drift off into her dreamland, but she was only a sleep a few minutes before the calling of her name woke her up. Slowly, she opened her eyes to look at Jack, and then to the Healer.
FINALLY! All this pain would surely be over in a little bit.
She opened her mouth to try to tell the Healer that she wouldn't be able to walk since she wasn't too sure if she could, but Ashford had told her she would levitate her before the girl could say anything. It didn't take long before she was in the air and was on the way to room two with the Healer. Now was the time she wished Torin and Jack had levitated her, because this was so much easier on her body than the whole picking up thing that Torin and Jack had did to get her up here from the Entrance Hall.

He then added, "Which I would never do by-the-way." He took a deep breath. "And then it was just over..."
He looked around. Woah. They had been talking this whole time and he didn't even realize they were all the way to the Hospital Wing already.

"Why would she accuse you of the same thing? I mean it seems pretty obvious that you care about her if you were willing to forgive her the first time. I doubt that you would cheat on her after that."
Looking at him he just looked really sad, like someone who needed a hug from a friend. Without even thinking about it she leaned over and gave him a quick hug. Feeling a litte embarrassed she quickly said, "Sorry, you just looked like you needed a friendly hug." Everyone needs to get a hug every now and then.

OOC: Room two for both of you, please. Adrienne had let her conversation kind of lapse between her and Phoebus as she'd waited to get called back. She figured he knew what was up, and she occupied herself looking around at the people who had arrived after her, since most of the people who had arrived before her, including the Huffie beater with the broken nose, had already been called back. At least she knew the basic idea of how the Hospital Wing worked, from when she'd brought Torin up here, but there were way more people in the waiting room now. Not to mention the semi-snuggling with Phoebus and her occupation with the other odd injuries people were coming in with were almost making her forget about her fingers. Almost, since the pain was still there.
And then she finally heard her name being called, along with Reese's, and she squeezed Phoebus' hand before standing up. "I'll be better in no time," she told him with a faint smile, trying to reassure him as she glanced over at the Slytherin prefect who she sort of considered a friend. At least through Torin. Perspective-wise, she almost felt bad going back there with her tiny issue of the broken fingers and stuff, seeing everything wrong with the other girl. Especially as Healer Ashford chose to levitate her instead of letting her walk. Straightening up, she watched as Jack ran after the other two, then followed at a slower pace. She needed to get checked, but she knew it would take hardly any time at all. She could let things get started with Reese first.

Miss Kennedy, it appeared, was yet another victim of the serious injuries that had been plaguing a good number of the students. She left the check-in area and hurried back into the waiting room, her heels making a distinct click-clacking noise as she did so. "Jacklyn Silver and Alexandra Kennedy," she called out, her eyes scanning the room for either girl. "I'll see you two in room three." Knowing both girls would require levitation, Gabriella pulled out her wand as she continued to search the area.
She came upon Miss Silver first. "Miss Silver, I'm Healer Ashford, and I'm going to levitate you, since it's probably difficult for you to walk," she said. With a quick mobilicorpus, she headed towards room three with Jacklyn. A few moments later, she headed back in to do the same for Alexandra. After a quick explanation of what was about to happen, Gabriella levitated Alexandra and carried her towards the back, as well.

Even though they have only known each other for a short time Marie feels as if she has known him forever. Carter nodded. "Yeah. Do you know him?" he asked. "I thought we were friends. I don't even remember how many times I've talked to him about her. And I was oblivious to all the secret dates they were having..." he said looking down at the ground.
"Oh... and then the other day... I was out by the playground playing a little football when she comes up and begins yelling at me. And then starts saying that she misses me and wants us to be friends." Man, that girl was so difficult!
He smiled when Marie said that that was what friends are for. It was true, it had just recently happened, but there was something about being thrown into the same scary situation that made it easier for them to talk.

To Marie it totally sounded like Marilyn was still trying to play Carter for a fool. Then it hit her, she didn't really know what Carter wanted now. "So.... do you want to be her friend? I mean do you think that is something you could ever do, just be friends with her?" She tried to think how she would feel if this situation ever happened between her and Evan. She didn't think she would be able to be his friend if he had cheated on her not only once, but twice. It would be too hard to be around him knowing he was with another girl.
