| | |  Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors
Banner by: GryffindollOOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first.
Once you've properly alerted Healer Ashford that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical condition, you'll need to proceed to the Waiting Room, the room in which Healer Ashford will look for you when it's your turn to be seen. There is only one Healer (Healer Ashford) on duty, and she will see to you as soon as she can. It's possible that at the time of your visit, many other people may also be waiting to receive medical attention, as well.
Even if your character is in serious condition, though, there's simply no need to worry about the wait time. It's usually very short, and Healer Ashford promises that you'll be seen to and healed within a reasonable amount of time. In the meantime, feel free to sit down or lie across one of the many padded benches Healer's Ashford has put into place so that your wait time can hopefully be a little more pleasant.
OOC: Every character will receive an equal opportunity to see the Healer. Despite how severe you may or may not consider your character's condition to be, please continue to wait your turn rather than proceeding into the Hospital Ward and Healing Area on your own.

With room one now free, Gabriella quickly made her way to the check-in book and saw that Emalyn Daniels and Jasmina Bennett were the next to students in line to be seen. She took a moment to glance down the list and saw that there were still many more students to be seen. Despite the fact that she'd have no job without ill or injured children, the Healer still felt extremely sympathetic towards them. "Emalyn Daniels and Jasmina Bennett," she called out, her eyes darting from person to person in the waiting room. "I'll see the two of you in room one." Realizing Jasmina may not be up to walking, Gabriella made her way towards the Ravenclaw girl and put her arm on her back. "Miss Bennett, let's head to room one, and I'll get you all fixed up." After signing in, Delanie moved to take an empty seat in the waiting room. She was so tired and halfway outta it. But she was relieved that Cody had joined her; she HATED the hospital, especially being there alone. Torin was supposed to meet them too, and she really hoped he would come. She felt horrible and wanted her brother. Pout.
"Thanks again for coming with me," Dee said to Dylan once again.

Oh no.. Ella had never been this concerned for a friend in her life. Mina smiled weakly as she heard her other best friend before disappearing into the healing area. "I'll be fine, Healer Ashford will have me back to new in no time," she replied softly. Her throat was still a bit scratchy, so it didn't hurt to talk anymore but she didn't want to do any more harm to herself. "I'll be out soon, but if Healer Ashford allows it, maybe you two could come back to see me once I'm all cleaned up." She didn't want her friends to see her like this, but she still did need them at the moment. She was very much confused and familiar faces would probably help calm her a little.
Turning back toward the healing area, Mina slowly continued on her way with the help of the healer. | |

" Alexa tried to let the comforting words do their job, but she still felt afraid that Healer Ashford wouldn't be able to fix her entirely. SHe felt broken... well for all intents and purposes she was broken. She was confused and hurting and felt as though she looked hideous. She simply nodded at Mr. Kapoor and leaned her head over onto his shoulder as she seemingly drifted to sleep... or unconcious who knows. " Mr. Kapoor, I am so tired and cold. I am going to l-l-lay mmmy head here, mkay," she said as her eyelids drooped.

Jack was starting to get frustrated. WHERE was Ashford?! Shouldn't patients with the more life threatening injuries get first dibs? He didn't care if they had signed in first--if someone just had a stomach ache or their head hurt they could wait!
Clenching his fists to try and stop himself from voicing his angry thoughts out loud, he turned to Kapoor, who had apparently escorted Alexa in. "We don't know," he said softly. He had to speak softly or he'd end up shouting at someone. "We just found her like this in the Great Hall...and her badge is missing."

Clenching his fists to try and stop himself from voicing his angry thoughts out loud, he turned to Kapoor, who had apparently escorted Alexa in. "We don't know," he said softly. He had to speak softly or he'd end up shouting at someone. "We just found her like this in the Great Hall...and her badge is missing." The more and more he heard about these strange incidents of injury, the less clear they became as to their cause. When first he found a slytherin student in the corridor, he thought it might've been due to an incident of someone sleep-casting, rare and as unusual as that would've been. Then, Miss Kennedy turning up, seemingly out of nowhere with some of the worst injuries he'd ever seen and no one able to report on where she might've been prior to showing up. And, now there was Miss Upstead and her terrible injuries.
The happenings grew odder and odder and he could see the frustration the headboy as he clenched his fists. Kapoor could not blame him one bit. Quote:
