| | |  Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors
Banner by: GryffindollOOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first.
Once you've properly alerted Healer Ashford that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical condition, you'll need to proceed to the Waiting Room, the room in which Healer Ashford will look for you when it's your turn to be seen. There is only one Healer (Healer Ashford) on duty, and she will see to you as soon as she can. It's possible that at the time of your visit, many other people may also be waiting to receive medical attention, as well.
Even if your character is in serious condition, though, there's simply no need to worry about the wait time. It's usually very short, and Healer Ashford promises that you'll be seen to and healed within a reasonable amount of time. In the meantime, feel free to sit down or lie across one of the many padded benches Healer's Ashford has put into place so that your wait time can hopefully be a little more pleasant.
OOC: Every character will receive an equal opportunity to see the Healer. Despite how severe you may or may not consider your character's condition to be, please continue to wait your turn rather than proceeding into the Hospital Ward and Healing Area on your own.

The door to the waiting area slowly opened and stepping slowly into the room was Mr. Kapoor. He had his arm out in a somewhat tucked position so that Alexa could grip onto it if she felt she was, at any moment, going to fall over. Her wounds were apparent as he found them an empty seat and offered to help her into it. He gave a Professor Marcus Lawson a greeting nodded with the head and waited until Alexa was seated before sitting himself.

Alexa staggered into the waiting room, clinging to Mr. Kapoor's arm for fear she might collapse again. She raised her right hand, since that was the one that didn't hurt too much to move, and touched the area on her dirty pajama shirt that her Prefect badge would usually be at. The area was ripped like something had been ripped off of her shirt.
"My...badge," she whispered. She had been hoping that in the entrance hall when she first realized her badge was missing that she had just been dreaming that it wasn't there. But now she realized it was officially missing. She had lost her badge, which was bad bad BAD! What would Lupa think? Though, the badge should be the least of her worries since she was bleeding. Resting her head against the wall behind her, she closed her eyes.
This day could NOT get any worse than it was! Great. She couldn't remember anything. That was NOT a good sign. Jack bit his lip and shook his head when she tried to find her badge. "Don't worry about it!" he said sternly. "You'll be fine--we'll get you a new one, it's ok," he assured her. Her badge was the LEAST of his concerns right now!
Just then, he noticed Alexa come in--and SHE looked like she had been beaten as well. WHAT WAS GOING ON? "Alexa! You...you...wha?" was all he managed to croak out. It was obvious that the same person had done this to both of them...and whoever it was, they better hope Jack NEVER found out who they were. He was too angry right now to care about what he'd do to them.

Sidney follows Healer Ashford into the Waiting Room. There are a lot more students there than the one Professor Lawson had found in the Courtyard. Sidney walks over and stands by Professor Lawson. Could the students have been injured in the dueling lab Professor Duskurk set up. He said it was going to be unsupervised. No the students would stop before things got this bad, but what else could it be? | |

All of the commotion in the waiting room was making Alexa's already aching head ache worse still. She tried to get comfortable but nothing felt good. She wrapped Kapoor's blanket tighter around herself hoping that it wasn't ruined by all of her blood.
Trying to see clearly out of her one eye she choked back another sob and waited... waited to find out if she was broken beyond repair.
