OOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first.

Once you've properly alerted Healer Ashford that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical condition, you'll need to proceed to the Waiting Room, the room in which Healer Ashford will look for you when it's your turn to be seen. There is only one Healer (Healer Ashford) on duty, and she will see to you as soon as she can. It's possible that at the time of your visit, many other people may also be waiting to receive medical attention, as well.

Even if your character is in serious condition, though, there's simply no need to worry about the wait time. It's usually very short, and Healer Ashford promises that you'll be seen to and healed within a reasonable amount of time. In the meantime, feel free to sit down or lie across one of the many padded benches Healer's Ashford has put into place so that your wait time can hopefully be a little more pleasant.

OOC: Every character will receive an equal opportunity to see the Healer. Despite how severe you may or may not consider your character's condition to be, please continue to wait your turn rather than proceeding into the Hospital Ward and Healing Area on your own.

"Trust me... you haven't left my sight since I first met you in the dorms tonight. I can't mistake you. And if you have no memory, of course you wouldn't remember him or think he's cute or anything. As for who else... there were two other girls in the dorm with us. I don't know their names, but I think they were your friends or something. Though, when you got hurt, they didn't really seem concerned. They said you should just lay down and read or something. I thought it would be better to make sure you were alright. But, they probably also didn't think anything was really wrong. I was pretty much raised at a hospital, so I can usually tell when someone is badly hurt. And one of the signs of a concussion is confusion and memory loss. That was part of why you tried to leave, I think."

“I think I would remember my own boyfriend. Marie Salazer just doesn’t forget those kinds of things." said Violet. She was shocked at the next comment "They didn't even care? I would care if it was my worst enemy. Maybe people misunderstand me. What is my personality like?" said Violet.

"You seem amiable. I mean, you seemed to be trying to solve something that happened when I met you, and you were really friendly. Like I said, maybe they didn't think it was serious, but I'm around people that get hurt or sick all the time, so I noticed when something was wrong, and they just didn't. I remember, you asked one if she would even care if you didn't wake up, and she said of course she would care. So I think she just didn't think it was that bad."

She sat back on her haunches before kind of falling into sitting cross-legged. "Though really, you hit your head pretty soon after I met you, so I can't say how much was you and how much was from you hitting your head. Can you remember anything? Anything at all?" If the potion hadn't worn off already, it probably would soon. Maybe once it did it would help clear her mind. She doubted it. More than likely she would just get tired, dang it.

"Really? Thats weird. Do you have any idea who those girls were?" asked Violet. "No sorry I don't remember anything." Her head hurt really bad. She put her hand on the back of her head and felt something wet. She brung it back and saw some blood on her hand. Marie Marie don't freak out! She thought in her head. "Arline, Arline look!" she said putting out her hand that had the blood on it. Violet totally freaked out she started to squeal as if she might scream.

It was very strange actually being called Arline. But, it wasn't like she'd told her her nickname, and this was no time to be thinking about that anyway. She took a look at Violet's hand, concerned, then got up to see there had been some blood on the floor. "Okay, try not to panic. I'm going to try and take a look at it, but you should remain still while I do, alright?"

"Yes, Rex I know who I am and I'm in the waiting room," she replied quietly in a mere whisper and smile. She couldn't really think straight but she could remember her name and where she was now. That was progress at least.

Hearing another voice, she moved her eyes slightly and saw it was Kay. She wanted to nod to her friend, but the pounding was getting worse again. "Yes, just a little ringing in the ears, but I can hear everyone now."

" Just go to te healers like professorLawson told you" Rex told Mina. " i will be at the healers for you and so will Kay" Rex explained to Mina.

Marcus listened as Mina spoke of the night's events but just like the other injured kids, she couldn't seem to remember what had happened to her. And just like the other kids she had magical injuries and evidence of being somewhere outside.

Rex gets water. "Here is the glass of water you asked for sir" Rex told the professor. Rex stayed a short distance from Mina.

She didn't plan on bringing up the cuts in her mouth...even though that was contributing to the pain, because she had to breathe through her mouth now and the air stung them. They were minor though, and hopefully she wouldn't have to deal with any funky remedies in her mouth. But she would...hopefully get to ask the healer a couple questions. And...Kazi would never know, he knew it was only an innocent question. Although, he had told her to go to Melita before.

But whatever. This was a good opportunity, even if it was...not enjoyable.

"Ema, what happened?" Rex asked her. " You need to see the healer now" Rex told Emalyn.. " Do not argue with me" Rex said to Emalyn.

"Okay okay" said Violet in a scared yet confused voice. She wondered what would happen and where the healer was.

Lina scoot around behind her and carefully moved her hair. Some of it had gotten matted in the blood, but it didn't seem too bad. "Okay, I'm going to press a little on some of it as gentle as I can. It might hurt, I'll warn you, but I need to see how bad it is." She then proceeded to do just that. Thankfully, everything felt solid. She wished she knew diagnostic spells. Something told her that she did, but she just couldn't remember. Maybe she saw one of her guardians doing it? She didn't know.

Quietly she pulled her wand, not caring that blood was getting smeared on the smooth ebony. She whispered something as she waved it, carefully closing the wound. It looked like it only split from the impact, which was good. Once that was done, she felt it again to make sure it wasn't bleeding.

"Okay, it looks like you're alright. Head wounds bleed a lot, even if they're small. I've fixed it up a little bit." She tucked her wand away and scoot back. "I have some mild healing potions and pain killers which might help, if you want. Pretty standard stuff. Do you want some?"

"Thanks" replied Violet. "Well wasn't it your potion that made me like this?" she asked not so willingly to drink another potion. She tried to get up to look around but her legs wouldn't let her. "This is a boarding school you say?" said Violet.

Ema pulled her sleeve away from her face to give her team mate a small, reassuring smile. "I'b okahy." she gulped, nodding. "Just gud elbowed." Hmm...somehow elbowed was really easy to say. "Yeb, I'll beh fine, jus' gub to wait." she wiped her nose again and then looked towards the girl Kay said was Mina. "Oh...okahy, hobe she feels betteh." she nodded and waved goodbye to Kay with her free hand.

And...speaking of bats, hers was in her lap. She looked down at the muddy, un-polished looking beater bat and sighed. She'd have to tune it up later.

She never mentioned a potion. The girl remembered something!! Why did it have to be that? "It was an experimental potion designed to increase energy, actually. It was based off of a study potion I had created last term. That one turned out very well, actually, and didn't do anything like this. The pain and healing potions are standard, though. They're the same ones I sell so I can pay for school." She sat again, watching Violet. "And yea, it's a boarding school. Here from September til June. (ooc, I think I remembered that right) We get to go home on holidays and over the summer."

"Oh why didn't you have someone you already knew try it?" she asked. "Oh what is this boarding school for?" she asked. Maybe its a docter school thought Violet. This all seemed very fishy to her, as if there was a big detail missing or something.

Quietly she said, "I only know one person. Raiden Kururugi." Shaking it off, she continued. "It's for magical students. Wizards and witches. Hogwarts is probably one of the best magic schools out there." Maybe that would jog a memory.

"Oh..." said Violet she didn't know really what to say at that because she was always supplied with friends. Then her eyes widened at the next part. "Wizards? Witches? Your kidding that stuff isn't real." she replied. Now this wasn't good Violet was the biggest Pureblood around.

"How do you think potions are made? Here..." She pulled out her wand, which still had some of the blood on it. "I used magic to heal the wound on the back of your head. I'm only a fourth year, so I'm not spectacular or anything." She thought a moment, then pulled an empty vial from her robes (no idea where she kept all of them) and set it on the ground. "Wingardium leviosa," she cast, raising the vial up about a foot. "Go ahead. Run your hand around it. No strings, nothin'."

Violet flinched. She put her hand and felt no strings. "Its probably just a illusion" she said nervously. "When can I go home? I dont want to wait till summer" said Violet. I need to get out of this nutjob school as soon as possible she thought.

"You could try it yourself. It's a first-year spell. I don't know if you have your wand on you, though." She leaned back. "As for going home, I think you would have to ask the healer or one of the professors about that." She pointed out the professor which was currently attending to Mina. "That's one of them, but I think he's busy. He carried that girl in shortly after I brought you in here. All those students came in with her too. But she was already kinda awake when she was brought in. I had to... wake you up." No one even noticed us, she thought somewhat grimly. But then, she was used to not being noticed.

"I think you should still be looked at. Just think, the healer hasn't seen her either. But, I think you may be out of danger. I don't know. You were pretty bad when I brought you in here. I'd at least feel better if you got a healing potion or something, whether from me or from the healer."

"Usually. But the length of the amnesia can actually be part of the determination in how bad a concussion is. For instance, amnesia that lasts for around 15 minutes would be an indicator of a Grade I concussion. A few hours, which may be this one, or it just may be that you haven't had much chance to recover, would indicate a Grade II concussion. Longer than that could indicate a Grade III and possible other complications."

Lina got up and walked after her, easily moving faster considering she was sure on her feet. "Violet, just stay until the healer can see you, please. We can play a game while we wait or something." At least the potion had probably already worn off. "Just in case. I'd hate to see you walk out of here with a Grade III concussion or some injury I can't see or heal."
