Lina looked back at Gold. "Well, if they're anything like ours, then yeah, they should. We pick up on a lot, and they feel kinda nice." She lifted a hand at Raiden, giving him a look asking permission if she could touch his. She never really did get a chance after all.

Gold flicked one of her kitty!ears. It was a completely new feeling and, she had to say, she could totally see kitty!ears getting into fashion. Everyone would want a pair, then. Hehe.

She was also sure she could hear better. That probably meant it would also feel nice if she touched them, right? Gold wanted to give it a try, but she would wait for the professor's verdict. She didn't want to make a total fool of herself. And she remembered touching Raiden's kitty!ears. That had been the moment of her life. Okay, maybe not, but it had felt sort of ... ticklish.

Even though she had felt bad, at once.

Apologised, too.

For now, she decided to work a bit more on the spell they had just been taught. Pointing her wand to her right hand - she obviously couldn't switch her left hand into something else, that was the one she wrote and did all the wand-work, with - she turned it into a fluffy paw. It was white, with a PINK! centre and, yes, it looked quite cute.

"Rawr," she said, pawing her notebook.

Fun, fun, fun!

Raiden, busy with his kitty paw, nonetheless caught Gold and Lina's talking and looked up at them. When Lina looked at him, he almost asked her why she was looking at him the way she was, when he realised what she wanted. Managing a slightly amused half-smile, he tilted his head and nodded.

"Go ahead." He looked at Gold and a let out small laugh. Maybe... this class wasn't as bad as he'd been thinking. His ears didn't seem quite so bad when everyone else had them as well. "Can I touch your ears, Gold?"

Lina smiled and felt Raiden's ears. She remembered how it felt when he pet hers. Thinking about that, she scratched them a little where she'd liked it so far. "You know, Raiden, this would be fun if it were temporary."

Destiny was in her own little world trying to think of what she should transfigure. Having a nice set of kitty claws but be awesome, and she could totally scratch her back with them! Or perhaps having some kitty whiskers!? And then she could stroke them all evilly! Yes! Kitty whiskers for the WIN!

And she was just about to point her wand when she heard Evelyn cast on herself. Ooo, what would she choose?

Destiny let out a little shriek at the sight of Evelyn's chompers! Magic Mother of Merlin! They were sharp and would probably be used to bite a whole right through the wood desks! 'Evelyn!' she pointed to her friends teeth, 'They are scary teeth!'

And to think, Destiny was going to change into something spider like..

Turning away from Evelyn and her set of scary chompers, Destiny pointed her wand at her own face and said the incantation, 'Teras Verto!' while imagining some kitty whiskers sprouting on her face.

The growing of whiskers tickled a little bit, and when she felt her cheeks, she had a nice set of them. Stroking them, just like she planned, she let out an evil chuckle.

'Muahaha'

Evil kitty.

Bella smiled slightly as she watched the Professor demonstrate. It looked so cool! She couldn't wait to try. She had a picture of a kitten in her head, but where to try. Her ears? Hands? She couldn't decide. After a lot of though she decided to try on her hand, not he wand hand though.

Taking a deep breath she pointed her wand at her left hand, closing her eyes for a second she said

"Teras Verto"

And waited for it to happen. Bella looked down at her hand, there were claws where her fingers would have been. Ohhh claws!!! She made a scratching movement

Haha....Evil Kitty!!

"Verto," Ella chanted with her wand pointing at her grape nose once she was done laughing with Carter and the mirror. She used it to make sure the reverting had gone back successfully.

Favorite animal.. hmmm. Definitely a cheetah.

Ella didn’t really know what was it about them she like so much, but they fascinated her. She pointed her wand at her ears and casted, "Teras Verto!"

Aaaand she had some pretty furry little ears pointing up from her head. She touched them and they were really soft. The classroom’s voices seemed to be ten times clearer. That brought up a question. "Professor, if we cast certain things from animals partially to ourselves, do we get all the traits the animal possesses with that part of their body?" This was interesting stuff.

Aww.

AWWW.

Gold had to chuckle. "Sure, you can, Raiden," she said, brightly. That way, she wasn't going to make a total fool of herself AND she would know if it felt all nice and pretty, like it did to cats.

Yep, the arrangement was excellent. She was glad the kitty!ears were temporary, though. Super!hearing was an awesome prospect and all, but she rather liked how she looked, in actual.

With non-cat ears, that is.

Muttering a verto underneath her breath (or what was left of it), Daphne was glad that her blocked orifices had cleared. However the smell or turnip seemed to have definitely permeated her skin.

Hopefully, it wouldn't linger forever.

Because she didn't want to end up with turnips again in other orifices (maybe her eardrums/ear canal), Daphne Hopton did her best to think about any animal. She didn't particularly like animals so conjuring a mental image of her favorite was an impossible task.

Some kind of feline possible. A wild cat? Panther? Oh, no, that seemed far too exotic. Perhaps, a cougar? They were a rather comely tan color and possessed rather pretty amber colored eyes.

Instead of giving herself ears like everyone else, Daphne glanced down at her manicured nails. Heaving a helpless sigh, the blond flexed the fingers of her right hand as she pointed her wand at it.

"Teras Verto."

Her palm tingled; a tingling that spread out ending at the tips of her fingers. Suddenly, there was a mixture of feeling hot and itchy as fur began to sprung from her pores. Appalled at her own transformation, Daphne shut her eyes tightly and held her arm away from herself.

She. Was. Not. Looking.

Not yet.

After busying herself with taking notes, Mina figured it was time to actually try her hand at this. Usually she would have jumped in, but the though of her noise or ears as a fruit didn't sit well with her.

Now an animal was a different story. She was part kneazle once and it wasn't all that terrible. She was mainly in shock while it happened and hadn't enjoyed it at all, but this time might be different, right?

Thinking it over, she shrugged and concentrated. Pulling her wand out she aimed it at her ears. "Teras Verto."

A slight warming sensation can over her ears as she placed her wand down. That was usually a good sign, she reasoned as she reached for her bag. She was sure to have a mirror in there. She had a feeling that it had worked, but she needed to see how terrible of a job she might have done.

Finding a small compact on the bottom of her bag, she pulled it out and opened it. Looking at herself, she shrugged. It had worked but her ears weren't as cute as she thought it would looked. They did look quite adorable with her dark hair and their were pink, but she really did expect herself to be cuter.

Marie had been sitting there watching as the other students started to sprout animal parts. She still wasn't excited about changing her body into an animal...even if it was only for a few minutes.

Finally deciding she had put it off long enough she picked up her wand with her right hand and pointed it at her left arm. "Teras Verto."

Whoa! She watched as her whole arm turned into the wing of a phoenix. Suddenly she didn't think it was so stupid to be doing this. This was so cool. She would have changed her other arm too but.....she had no way to hold her wand in her left hand....erm, wing.

She sat there flapping her wing wondering what it would be like to fly without a broom. If only she could change the other arm maybe she could give the flying thing a try.

When Lina's fingers started scratching away at his ears, the boy's head automatically leaned even more toward her. It felt ridiculously good when people scratched in the right spots... which was what worried him most about these ears. He was not a cat and this was still not normal, but... this was Hogwarts. So maybe the normalcy of it was a bit overrated.

"Everything weird is more fun when temporary." True facts, man. True facts.

When Gold gave him the go-ahead though, ooooooh he got all grinny. It was as if he was that hypocritical little five year old again, asking to do something he hadn't particularly liked having done to himself.

Did not caaaaaare.

One hand brushed over Gold's ickle pinkish kitty ear, gently running up and down the back as he abandoned his wand on the desk. Fingers played at the base of the flicky thing, where he knew he liked his own ears scratched. They were all SOFT and nice feeling just as Lina's had been in the hospital wing.

Hehe.

"If you were a cat you'd have really soft fur," the prefect commented absently, his eyes flicking away from Gold as he caught Daphne's voice. Claaaaaaws? Fur? Daph should have given herself ears too, so Raiden could TOUCH THEM. Heh. She would probably have killed him for it but it would be so cute on her!

Soft fur... Ooo! Thought! ... Those normally were not condusive to sane lives where Lina was concerned, but at least this one couldn't have any bad effects, right? The skin was a body part, wasn't it? "Teras Vertos!" Fur. All over. Again and she had a muzzle and cute pink nose, and again and she had a tail. Now, she had the cat ears and muzzle, the soft fur of a bunny, and the tail of a money so that it was prehensile. "Nyao!" She smiled and giggled. "I'm the fuzziest and most talented kitty ever!"

It seemed like everyone was having SO MUCH FUN. Well, with the exception of that Gryffindor, Miss Hopcork - what a madame that one was. Everyone else was PETTING eachother though. It was cute, and made Milly's fingers tingle. She wanted to pet the fluffiness tooooo!

"The features you take on WILL act like the creatures whom you've taken them from, yes." Mildred giggled in reply to Prefect Red's question. Which meant her KITTY ears were very sensitive.

And that the Slytherin that had opted for fangs was pretty lethal right now. EEK.

"And like you did with your fruit and veg," the Professor continued, smiling sweetly at the class, "a quick Verto is all you need to rid you of your partial transformation." And with a swish of her wand she demonstrated, her bunny ears turning human once more.

"Now, if you'd all transform back into your usual selves I'll assign some homework." HEHEHE.

Peeking frightfully at her....claw? Daphne was surprised to see that it wasn't as horrendous as she imagined. After all, it wasn't like she had turned herself into some kind of muggle science fiction hybrid; like....that girl over there by Raiden Kururugi.

Eghad.

Clearing her throat. She pressed her paw against her knee, testing it out before reaching out to touch Raiden's shoulder. It...felt weird. She almost wanted to paw at the floor.

Barbaric. Wrinkling her nose, Daphne flicked her wand at her claw/paw before anymore feline instincts could overpower her. "Verto."

So she would be able to fly if she had two wings. Hmmm, she would have to work on that more. She really wanted to soar through the air without the aid of a broom or a thestral.

Oh rats, they needed to change back to normal......so she could assign homework. Just what Marie wanted, more homework. She still had several assignments she needed to get done. Looks like her weekend was planned now.

Pointing her wand at her wing she saId, "Verto" and watched the wing turn back into an arm. Yes, this would be something she would be practicing some more.

Kellen sighed a little and pointed at his plumage, "Verto."

De-feathered, he looked around at all the other students in the class. Some looked more than a little relieved to be getting rid of their animal parts, while others had the look about them that suggested they'd be transfiguring the parts back on as soon as they left the classroom.

Aww... but he was getting used to the giant tusks that seemed to make his head quite heavy. Jacob took his wand, and pointed at is tusks. "Verto" he said. Suddenly his tusks started to shrink, at the same time his other teeth reformed back to a normal state. Jacob pocketed his wand and waited for the professors instructions for homework

Aww.

AWWW.

Gold finally knew how cats feel, when you touch their ears. It was such a nice feeling, all soft and warm and a bit sleepy-like. She leaned her head forward a bit, then grinned. "Raiden, you have practice," she chuckled, as she flicked one ear. Why flick one?

Because she could.

Hehe.

"Soft fur is awesome, but I don't think I want it," Gold chuckled. Fur on her body was a TOTAL no-no. Kitty!paws though, now those were cute. Gold held up her right hand, and grinned at the fact that it was all white and pink and fluffy. Adorable!

"Professor," Gold raised her hand, again. "Verto is untransfiguration, right?" She was still trying to grasp that concept, and she wasn't sure if she had it fully, yet. Confusing stuff!

But at least she knew to cast that spell. Gold did so, now, making her kitty!ears turn back into the real thing - a pair of ears that weren't on top of her head, hehe. She didn't really want to do that to the kitty!paw, though. That was too cute and... whitish-pink.

She had to, though. So she took a deep breath, pointed her wand at her right hand, said a quick "Verto!" and frowned as her kitty!paw disappeared. Now she couldn't paw anyone.

"Not nice," she pouted.

OOOH!

Animals were SOOO CUUTTE!

Well sometimes.

Candy POINTED'eddd her wand at her HANDDD and thought of scorpions. Nice shiny VENEMOUS ones! "Teras Verto." Nothing happened. But she had expected that. She didn't seem like the type who was a natural at this subject. How SAADDDD!!

"Teras Verto."

She was more successful this time. Because now she had a COOOOLLL scorpian claw. Candy CHUCKLED at it.

Sidney's having a hard time keeping her head upright. The horn is making it top heavy, so she thrilled when Professor Pillwickle says they can remove them. "Verto," Sidney says while she points her wand at the horn on her forehead. It disappears. "Oooh that feels much better."

Candy EYED her claw again. It was SOOO cooool!! She tried to wriggle it but couldn't and then she decided she needed to get rid of it before she accidentally hurt someone. Claws could be DANGEROUS you know.

"Verto."

It went away and she eyed her own hand SADLY. "You're back," she told it. "I missed you but Scorpio!GuyHand was COOL, too."

Arya was having a blast moving her horse ears listening to everything that was being said in the class with her new super sensitive hearing. It was awesome! She brought her hand up to pet the ears, a small part of her missing her mare back home but the pain was out weighed by her excitement of having horse ears.

Aww! And before she knew it the class was ending. It was to bad to cause she was gonna try out some diffrent animal parts. Pointing her wand at her strawberry fingers she concentrated and after a few seconds said, "Verto"

And nothing happened.

Hmph. Well, she was slightly distracted by all the conversations going on, usually she could ignore them but the ears made that impossible. After a few more tries she finally was able to ride herself of the strawberries. Placing her wand down she played with her ears, not really wanting to get ride of them yet. So she decided to wait until the very last minute before changing them back. Yup.

Setting down her the mirror, she reasched for her wand again. It was time to turn her ears back. Maybe next time she tried, her ears would turn out cuter. Now she had motivation and all for it.

"Verto"

Again, she felt that warm sensation over her ears. They were turning back to normal again. Back to the boring human ears, but at least her hair covered them.

Evelyn giggled slightly when she heard that noise come from Destiny. Ha...she almost sounded like the Professor!

Turning back to face the front, she was still fascinated that she had fangs for teeth. And hearing the Professor's words that the features they chose will act like the creatures they took it from...only made her more excited.

This was seriously the best transfiguration class ever! Well almost. Depends on if they were going to be learning about animagi later on in the years or something.

Still playing with her teeth, Evelyn turned back to Destiny to ask if she would have looked more like a dragon with their claws or a tail or something, when she saw the whiskers. And, she couldn't help herself. Raising up her hand, she flicked on side of the whiskers before doing the same to the other side, snickering slightly. "Did you feel that?"

But of course, the fun time had to go away. Just like any other fun time. Sighing, she raised her wand to her mouth and mutter 'Verto', feeling that her teeth were back to normal.

Eh, she could always change them back later on right? He he. Smiling, she picked up her quill and opened her notebook, writing a few things down before waiting for the Professor to announce the homework. Please not an essay. No essay no essay!
