Would anyone even come to her lesson?

Mildred didn't know.. she still wanted to feed those ickle minds though. Before she got fired. Would she get fired? She had made a rather serious mistake, hadn't she?

The Professor clearly wasn't her usual bubbly self as she unlocked the classroom and settled herself behind her desk.

Luckily the professor already told them how to change back. "Verto!" she said pointing her wand back at her ears. She then felt her ears again to make sure they really were her cute little ears and not a bunch of grapes. Yeah, she did not bother getting a mirror to look in. She didn't want to see how silly she looked and she did't want Carter to see her either. Hopefully he was busy looking at himself and totally missed her transformation.

Hearing Ayra ask someone else to transform her Marie decided it was time to give her wand back. "Hey Ayra, does this look familiar to you?" she asked while holding the wand out in front of her? "No hard feelings?" She hoped the girl understood why she had taken the wand from her.

Oh Merlin, now they had to think about their favorite animal. Well that one was easy, Her favorite was the phoenix. It had great magical powers and her wand core was a phoenix feather. Raising her hand she said "Professor, are we going to be transforming into the animals we thinnk about?" Because that would be totally cool if they got to do that.

Carter laughed. "Thanks El." he said. "I like your nose." he commented about the grapes. He took a look at himself and busted out laughing. Is that what he seriously looked like?

"Verto!" he said turning his nose back to normal. (He checked with the mirror.. you know, just in case it didn't work.) Then he handed it back to Ella.

Hmm... favorite animal. That would be a dog. Carter liked dogs.

Her smile wide from one cheek to the other she nodded her head enthusiastically as she tried the spell out herself.

Aw look at those 'lil strawberry pudgy fingers. The sight was enough to give her a fit oh giggles and even more so when her friend said she'd forgotten the incantation.

Rubbing her fuzzy nose, she contemplated. She'd been so busy looking down at her nose that she'd forgotten it as well.

In her mind she gave a tiny gasp."Uhhh...uuhhh...I think I did too.."

What if they were stuck like this forever????

How would she ever smell anything besides peach and how would Arya ever hold anything?

Chris was so excited for this! He had liked Kneazles but he had already seen that happen before. He took a quick peek over his shoulder at Raiden. Now what animal would he pick? After some thought Chris decided on a phoenix.

Marie was a little surprised when Ayra hugged her, she wasn't expecting something like that. "You're welcome" she said smiling back at her. Did the girl not remember how Marie had gotten the wand? She was sure the girl was going to be mad at her for taking it from her. Oh well, no use bringing it up now, might as well just let the girl be happy she has it back.

"Transforming FULLY into a beast can only be performed by advanced witches and wizards and takes years of intense training and practice," she noted matter-of-factly.

Demonstration? HEHE.

"As usual, this takes lots of concentration. Focus on the part of the animal you wish to take on.. and point your wand at that particular part of your body." As she explained, the Professor brought her own wand up to her ears again. "And the incantation is ... Teras Verto!"

She'd obviously been concentrating on a bunny and was now showing off floppy, white ears. FLUFFY. "You may practice."

This would wind up being very strange. She looked at her twisted dark ebony wand. "Be nice to me..." Then with a deep breath she concentrated and pointed it at her face. "Teras Verto!" Suddenly, her sight was very strange. And she was looking from a taller standpoint. They were the stalks of crab eyes. Everything seemed like pinpricks of light. "Oh... this is weird..."

Hmm, what part of him did he want to get turned into a horse? It looked like it wouldn't be anything major, and thoughts of one human leg and one horse leg were kind of creepy, so...

Kellen looked over at Raiden and grinned, pointing his wand at his ears, "Teras Verto!"

There was a moment of silence, and suddenly he could hear. His ears flicked to the front of the class, before there was a sharp scrape of a chair off to his right and his right ear swiveled around to listen. This. Was. Awesome!

Chris listened and his face lit up like a small child's when Professor Pilliwickle said that they were going to be changing their body parts to those of their favorite animals. He then sat up as she was going to demonstrate. "Oh that is great Professor!" he clapped excitedly.

When she released them to practice the Gryffie Prefect jumped and pulled out his wand. He pointed it at his nose and mouth area and said, "Teras Verto!" And he felt a slight growing sensation and his mouth and nose area grew to a point and turned hard. He now had the beak of a Phoenix. He opened his beak and found that he could still talk. "Oh my gosh professor!!! Look at me!" he piped up laughing, the sound was a bit different because of the beak. Now hopefully they could change back.

Jack had had PLENTY of experience with animal transfiguration--and none of it was GOOD experience. Not at all. He could still remember the koala arms experience from two years ago. Yeah. Not pretty at ALLLLLL.

Forgetting that he still had lemons for ears, he decided to go with an owl's beak...he liked owls. And if he messed this up at least he wouldn't look like a demented teddy bear!

"Teras Verto!" he exclaimed, pointing at his nose and concentrating on the black beak he pictured in his head. He felt a stinging sort of sensation, then felt his nose and saw that he had, in fact, given himself a beak! "I did it!" he exclaimed, his voice coming out all nasally and weird.

Of course the Professor had picked bunny ears to demonstrate with. What else would she have done?! Although, Evelyn also expected her to pick kitten ears or something. Sighing, although happier now that hey were transfiguring themselves partly into animals instead of fruit and vegetables, she started to think of which part of a dragon she would do.

Hmm. Fangs would be pretty neat. Imagining the fangs of a dragon, she pointed her wand at her mouth and said, "Teras Verto."

It, actually slightly twinged a bit, though it was definitly bearable. After a moment or so, she rubbed her tongue across her tee- OH THIS WAS SO COOL! Sharp teeth! Fangs! Even though they were her normals sized teeth, they were still sharp like a dragons.

Smiling, she glanced at Destiny for a moment, seeing how she would react. Sharp fangs and black eyes, Evelyn must really have been an evil sight to see at the moment. Maybe she could give herself a tail too? Or a claw! HA! Maybe she could scare Kay like that...

Arya giggled at her friend, wiggling her chubby strawberry fingers in her face. It seemed niether of them were capable of remembering a simple spell.

Turning to the professor she watched her teach them another spell, it seemed a little more difficult but with practice simple enough. And the best part about this spell was that they got to partually transform into animals! Well Arya didn't have to think about what her favorite animal was. Using her wonderfull wand, she pointed at her ears and concentrated on the spell. She knew the animal like the back of her hand, her image clear in her mind as she said. "Teras Verto!"

But nothing happened.

She should probably stop laughing, yup that would definantly help. Wiggling her strawberry fingers at Ivory she giggled, "You try!"

Jacob watched the professor turn her ears into rabbit ears. Something about this disturbed him. Then he forgot what animal he chose. some water animal. Oh right a walrus.

Jacob focused on the tusks, becouse a walrus tail would be too weird. Man did he hope this worked properly the firsts time. He looked down at his maple wood wand. This was not the right time for it to go crazy. "Teras Verto!" he said pointing the wand at his mouth.

There was a moment where nothing happened. Then all of the sudden a tingleing sensation filled his mouth. Next two tusks extended out of his mouth and reached to the middle of his neck. He looked over towards the professor and asked "Doh I look ritictuluth?" It was so difficult to talk like this. and the way he said ridiculus was way too weird. This was not something he could get used to.

Now sure if it had worked Ivory brought up her fingers and rubbed her nose. Ahh nice and smooth skin.

Smiling at Arya, she practiced saying the incantation a few times before pointing her wand at her own ears.

Trying to subside her giggles, she finally found the breath to cast.

"Teras Verto!"

Suddenly she felt her face elongate and the onslaught of smells hit her in waves.

Her face widened in a smile but she was sure it must've looked like a wolfy toothy grin seeing as how now she had a wolf's snout.

Snaking out her now long tongue to run over her teeth she found they were all sharp canines.

Turning to Arya, she continued smiling as she lifted up her face for a howl.
"Aaaaoooooooo!"

Gold... thought. She thought of nature, and of green trees and cool winds, and a lot of pretty and eerie and lovely creatures that she either adored, or respected for their ways. Their control, their command, maybe their style of hunting. A lot of other things, too.

Then she randomly thought of a pink kitten.

Grinning at her centre of focus, the fifth year shook her head, then pointed her wand at her ears. "Teras Verto!"

There!

She now sported a pair of PRETTY! kitty ears. Pink and fluffy and oh-so-CUUUTE. Though they did remind her of Prefect Kururugi, poor guy. But wait a second! That gave her a question. Gold quickly raised her hand. She had to ask Professor Transfiguration this.

"Professor, if someone has a set of kitty ears - or something of that sort - not because of a Transfigurational spell, but because of a potion -" She did NOT glance at Raiden, as she said this. "Would they be able to use Reverto to return them to their original state?"

Such curiosityyy!

What about husky paws? Carter did like huskies.

"Teras Verto!" he said pointing his wand at his hand.

He watched in amazement as his hand was turned into a dog's paw.

He tried moving around his fingers. Nothing really happened. Whoa... this was weird.

"As your cherry ears were a result of your REAL ears being transformed, yes they would suffer some damage," the Professor explained with a nod. Just like her real ears would be left a little sore if someone were to tug on her new bunny ears.

"And as for your second question... sadly, no." Was she talking about the cutie Slytherin Prefect? She hoped he KEPT his kitty ears. "There are some magically induced transformations that can't be reversed using Transfiguraton."

Sidney listens closely to Professor Pillwickle is saying. I don't think Cinnamon's teeth would fit in my small mouth. Sidney smiles thinking about her unicorn. I've always wanted to look more like Cinnamon. You know I wanted to be her blood sister. Of course I know exactly what part of the unicorn I want. Sidney points her wand at her forehead and closes her eyes. She concentrates on Cinnamon remembering what Sidney had promised her. Sidney says, "Tera Verto." Sparks come out of the end of her wand hitting Sidney in the forehead. Suddenly a silvery horn starts growing out from Sidney's forehead. She feels her forehead and finds her unicorn horn. Now she looks like Cinnamon. They are blood sisters now.

Glad her friend had remembered the incantation she pointed her wand at her hand, ready to turn her strawberries back into fingers, but then decided against it. They looked to cute to change back just yet.

She watched in amazement as her friends face transformed into a wolf's snout. It was so cool! Ready for her transformation she waited til her giggles subsided then she pointed her wand at her ears. "Teras Verto!"

Suddenly her ears transformed into long brown horse ears, similar to those of her mare back home. Reaching up with her hands she touched them with a goofy grin as they twitched back and forth. She came would have to learn to use this spell to her advantage latter.

Oh oh oh! "Verto!" No more stalky eyes. "Teras Verto!" Now she had fangs! Well, they were kinda cat teeth, but they looked like fangs. "Meow!"

Kellen looked over at Arya. She had horse ears as well, and he tapped his wand on his chin. Two of the same would never do.

"Verto!"

His ears changed back to their normal, human selves, and he decided it was time to transfigure something else. With a huge grin, he pictured the vain bird in his head and pointed at his tailbone, "Teras Verto!"

Okay, so there was no way he could justify sprouting a male peacock's tail feathers and fanning them out behind him, but it certainly felt amazing. Close tail... open tail... close tail... open tail... and try not to hit anyone.

Raiden may have muttered some very, very impolite words in Korean under his breath. He may have. He might also have said something about how flobberworms were the most fascinating creatures to ever squirm across the face of the Earth. Nobody in this classroom would EVER KNOW.

The spell didn't work to reverse potion effects. He. Was. Stuck.

"Verto." At least he could have his human nose back. Lina... had transfigured her eyes? And it was FREAKY. Averting his own, he tried to think of something he could transfigure on himself, so at least... he'd get credit for this class. He already had a cruppy tail, and cat ears, and even his eyes were still more cat-like than not...

Holding up his left hand, he pointed at it.

"Teras Verto!"

Kitty paw. A real one this time, with claws and everything, and fur that stopped just above his wrist. His right hand had remained human, at least, so he could still hold his wand this time... tapping the paw on the desk, he stretched the claws in and out, the toe-ish things spreading apart at the same time.

This was... weird. And completely unlike the paws he'd ended up with before.

Lina raised a hand. "Professor! New question, just because I thought of it. Animagi... do they choose their forms as they work on their transformation, or is it something that they can't control? Is there any way to tell what your form would be if you could do it?"

Gold was thinking of two things.

One, that Professor Transfigurationpillow was a little too cheerful - really! - at the thought of the damage and two, that Lina could be a total cutie sometimes, what with the little meow and all.

She turned her attention back to her own set of kitty!ears. They were quite adorable, you know. "Professor!" She raised her hand, again. But would it also feel nice if I..." this was going to sound SO lame, but she was curious, honestly. "If I... you know. Sort of tickled them." Like you did to a cat. Tickly tickly, scratchy scratchy.

Okay, so that sounded funny. But the question really had been bothering her! Gold looked down, at her hands.
