Did Destiny seriously just flick his nose? No, really, he wasn't sure. He couldn't tell. The strawberry-part of his strawberry nose seemed absorb the shock. Weird.

Then Destiny changed her ear to an orange. Fun! Did he look that ridiculous. He had to know.


Oh yes! That was a fantastic question. And so was the one he had.

"Hey Marie, do you have a mirror?" he whispered to her. He wanted to see his strawberry covered face.

Ella chuckled, looking at the other students with a goofy grin on her face before trying to come up with her favorite fruit. Probably bananas.. but she would look pretty odd with a banana as an ear, or even sillier, a nose. She tried to come up with her second favorite fruit, preferably a small one. Grapes! Definitely.

"Fructus Verto!" Ella casted, pointing her wand at her nose, eyes shut. She concentrated on a grape as her nose, but suddenly she fely a large load coming from the area her nose should have been. It wasn't just one grape, it was a bunch!

She glanced over at Carter, whose own nose was a strawberry. She started to laugh, holding up the grapes so they wouldn't be dangly. She felt really silly and did and didn't want to know how she looked at the same time. Nearby people were looking for mirrors too. She looked around in her bag and found a spare. Lucky.

Looking at her reflection, she started laughing even harder. She looked like a silly, fruity Gryffindor. "Looking pretty hot, I bet," she said to Carter, handing him her mirror.

"Of COURSE you will, dear," Mildred giggled at the question. "Couldn't have you all walking around like fruits, could we?" What if they got EATEN? "We've got some more transforming to do before you're dismissed though."

YES. MORE FUN.

"Now, to transform your features back into their previous state," she explained to the class as a whole, the Gryffindor with turnips up her nose in particular. She must've been in danger of simply passing out anytime soon.. "It's a simple Verto!"

She pointed her wand at her plum ears as she spoke, giggling as she felt them transform back into her HUMAN ears. "Can we all do that?"

Tiberius giggled again, poking at his pineapple nose. Yes, probably a good idea to turn it back. He was starting to think he was vacationing somewhere tropic each time he took a breathe.

Pointing at his nose, he tried to remember what it looked like. "Verto!" He put his wand back in his lap and reached up to feel his nose. Raising his hand then, he tried to get the professor's attention.

"Professor? Do we just look like fruit? Or is it actually fruit? Like... what if someone tried to eat your plum ears. Would it taste like plum?" Or person?

Oh good! "Verto!" Normal fingers again! She smiled to Raiden. He could change his ears back... Oh no, he couldn't. He couldn't hear! She turned to him, waving and making sure he was watching. "Fructus Verto!" Strawberry fingers! "Verto!" Regular fingers! Hopefully he would see the similarity in her casting.

Oh Lina.

Raiden wasn't good at charades.

Shrugging and shaking his head helplessly, he turned his eyes to the professor; she was talking. No words were coming out of her mouth, surely. Because all he had was SILENCE. His expression sinking into depression, Raiden bit the corner of his lip and looked to Lina again.

Huh. Apparently the professor had just shown them how to fix it. Which would have been useful BEFORE he couldn't hear. He watched Lina turn her fingers back and forth, the way she was doing it just to show him... Either she was making fun of him or she was trying to help him.

... The prefect just stared at her mouth as Lina did the spell. What was she SAYING.

This was pointless. Grabbing after a quill and a bit of parchment, Raiden held them out to her, frowning. WRITE. IT. DOWN. He could still read, at least.

Good.

They were able to be normal yet again. Destiny was not going to walk around with two big oranges for ears, and she was certain there were not earmuffs big enough to cover them if they stayed that way. Turning to Evelyn, who did not seem to change anything to fruit, she frowned. Evelyn was being a party pooper, and Destiny really wanted to see her with a fruit on her face. That would be HILARIOUS!

Pointing her wand at her own ear, Destiny said 'Verto!' Reaching her hand to see if it was normal again, she was surprised when the orange was still there! Merlin in bowling shoes! Why didn't it work?

No worries, no worries. Pointing her wand again, Destiny said the incantation again only a little more loudly, 'Verto!!!!!!'

Bahaha! She was normal again!

Duh. She felt a little stupid, but then she hadn't had anything to write on, and she was a little scatterbrained. Verto. She wrote. Like when you cast before. She held the parchment up to him.

...well that actually made total sense. Nodding, Raiden picked up his wand and directed it at one of the apples that had replaced his furry ears.

It was terrifying that the kneazle ears were preferable to something. Raiden closed his eyes and focused hard on the spell.

"Verto."

It was immediately obvious that it had worked; everything got extremely loud a moment after he'd cast, and he resisted the urge to clamp his hands down over the fuzzy things.

"Right. I don't like that spell."

He covered his nose again. Would this spell work on that, too?

Sidney is enjoying her strawberry nose even though she keeps inhaling seeds when the breaths. Darn, time to turn you back to normal. Sidney points her wand at her strawberry nose. She closes her eyes once again and visualizes her normal nose. "Verto!" Sidney says. She feels a tingling sensation in her nose almose like he spell had gone horribly wrong. Her nose feels like its on fire. Then it cools back down. Sidney raises her left hand up to her face feeling for her nose. She wants to make sure there is something there besides a hole where her nose should be. It's there. It's there. Sidney is so releaved.

"It's ACTUAL fruit!" Mildred answered happily with a girlish giggle and a wiggle in the direction of the boy that had asked it. It was a GOOD question. "If someone were to have a nibble of my plum ears -" HEHEHEHEHE. "-it would taste very much like PLUM." YUP. TASTY.

She watched, and nodded in approval as everyone practiced transfiguring themselves back. Very, very good.

"I think we've all had enough practice and are ready to try something a little more advanced, don't you? Yes, now I'd like you all to imagine and concentrate on your favourite animals."

Madiison looked into a mirror.

Well, this wasn't THAT bad. She even kind of liked the half strawberry thing her ear was doing. But, Di decided, she looked a lot better with her normal human ears. Yes. So she pointed her wand at her own ears and said "Verto!" And voila! Human ears were back in business.

ANIMALS?!

Beaming, Madiison thought of bunnies. BUNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIES.

Raiden shrank down in his seat a bit farther, hand still over his cruppy nose. He... surely he was exempt from this part of class. Considering... he was already part animal. Even if he wasn't part his favourite animal.

Animals?

Destiny knew what her favorite animal was, but she glanced over at Evelyn and decided not to think about a spider. No way. If she transfigured herself into one of them, there would surely be a squashed Destiny spider sitting in the chair.

Destiny was too young to be squashed.

Instead of her first favorite animal, she would go with her second. A kitty! Yes, they were her second favorite animals. She knew what it was like to already wear a pair kitty ears, and with a quick glance at Raiden, it didn't seem that bad.

Kellen rubbed his no-longer-blackberry ears, a big smile growing on his face. This was easy. Horses. Absolutely horses. In fact, he was already started to daydream about running around campus as... well, not an entire horse, but maybe a centaur? Or something? But a full horse would be amazing.

Still rubbing her little peach nose, Ivory bounced slightly in her seat.

Her mind whirled through the possibilities. Koala? Panda? Wolf? Pheonix? Dragonite?

Evelyn had still been pretending to do the first spell when the Professor said they could move on to doing something more advanced. Finally! She was beginning to become a little nervous that the Professor might actually do the spell on her by force!

Their favorite animals? Was a dragon an animal? It was...right? Right!...

Whatever. She was going to be thinking of dragons anyways, though she did have to take a peak of at the Slytherin prefect. Ha ha. Poor...whatshisface. He was already part animal.

Lina leaned over, whispering to Raiden. "Hey, if she teaches us how to change to animals (ooohhh animagi!) then she'll tell us how to change back too, right?" It was easy to tell what her favorite animal was. Crab!! Oh.. How was that gonna work?

"That would be the part of this spell I'm interested in," Raiden murmured back at Lina. "I'm already part kneazle and crup, I don't need to be any more cat-like, nor do I particularly feel it's a good idea to become part rabbit on top of all this."

Yeah. He'd... stay this way, thanks. And wait for the reversing spell. Because... maybe that would fix his ears and this tail. That would be ideal, especially since the damn mouse hadn't been seen in weeks.

She blinked. "Rabbit?" Oh! She could change her cat ears back! But wait... Then she realized. "Wait, would this spell work on potion effects?"

Arya had been sitting silently, watching everyone preform the spell as she mumbled int incantation wishing she had her wand to preform the spell herself. Leaning towards Ivory she whispered in her ear, "Hey Ivy, can you cast the spell on me. Since I don't have a wand and all?" She certanly couldn't sit here and do nothing.

Ivory felt her heart melt at her friend's words. To be without a wand was horrible.

"Sure, of course!" Looking around to see what fruits everyone had tried, she turned back to her wand-less friend.

It takes Sidney all of two seconds to decide on her favorite animal. Unicorns of course. Sidney really misses her unicorn. She's such a dear sweet thing.

Well that wasn't very nice of Destiny to flick Carter's strawberry nose. He was just being nice and giving her wand back. "Sorry, I don't have a mirror," she said. "I can tell you that your nose looks funny cute though," she said trying not to laugh at him. She didn't want him laughing at her, which she knew he would probably do anyway, still, she was going to try her best not to laugh at him. "Looks like she has a mirror you can use," she said when she seen some girl handing him a mirror.

Oh good, they were going to be able to change back to normal. Thinking about green grapes.......again, she pointed her wand at her right ear and said, "Fructus Verto!" Touching her ears she quickly took her hands away. The feeling of the grapes on the side of her head was too much for her.

Luckily the professor already told them how to change back. "Verto!" she said pointing her wand back at her ears. She then felt her ears again to make sure they really were her cute little ears and not a bunch of grapes. Yeah, she did not bother getting a mirror to look in. She didn't want to see how silly she looked and she did't want Carter to see her either. Hopefully he was busy looking at himself and totally missed her transformation.

Hearing Ayra ask someone else to transform her Marie decided it was time to give her wand back. "Hey Ayra, does this look familiar to you?" she asked while holding the wand out in front of her? "No hard feelings?" She hoped the girl understood why she had taken the wand from her.

Oh Merlin, now they had to think about their favorite animal. Well that one was easy, Her favorite was the phoenix. It had great magical powers and her wand core was a phoenix feather. Raising her hand she said "Professor, are we going to be transforming into the animals we thinnk about?" Because that would be totally cool if they got to do that.

Bella bent her head a little and thought, her favourite animal. Did Dolphins count? She didn't know, hmm. She thought some more. In the end she chose a kitten, it was at least her second favouite. Nodding her head, she said, "Ive thought of my favourite animal Professor" She said smiling.
