Swinging her feet, Arya thought about Professor Pilliwickle's question. She truely had no idea what the incantation could be. It wasn't until now that she learned it was possible to turn a butterfly into a catipilar. She listened to the older student as they tried to come up with an anwser.

She got it right? Well it seemed so since the Professor was being all...creepy...again. She was actually preferring Professor Duckfeet to this.

Of course though. Miss Floor. It wasn't Floor! It was Flores. 'ES' AT THE END! FLORES! Whatever though. She probably deserved being called that since she couldn't remember the Professors name too. And she had no clue as to what the incantation could have been, and she really didn't want to think of it or guess. But Marie's suggestion sounded promising.

"Reverte?" Raiden suggested with a raised hand, his eyes going to Lina for a moment as she moved to the desk next to him. He gave the girl a smile before turning his attention back to the question. "That might... not work actually. It sounds more like something that would change things back into what they were before you..."

Hmmm. Raiden flicked absently through his book, eyes going from page to page as if the spell would just jump out at him.

"The latin part is right," Mildred giggled at Miss Prefect over there as she had herself a guess. Guessing games were FUN.

Mildred LIKED this answer. She liked it a lot. "I'd like if that WAS the incantation," she said with a girly giggly shriek. Papilio backwards sounded FUNNY!

The cute, fluffy-headed Slytherin was the closest.. and so, Mildred treated him to another display of the wiggly fingers. She wanted them to start with the practical already, so that she could go and have a CLOSER look. Mmhmm.

HEHEHE.

"Almost there!" She giggled some more, "the incantation is Reverto. And just like all Transfiguration, it requires concentration. This is a more complex type of Transfiguration, so it'll take more concentration than your conjuring."

Mildred swiftly conjured up some PURPLE flowers which is what they were to begin with. "Like so... Reverto!" With a light flourish of her wand, the flowers poofed and in their place were a few teeny tiny seedlings. Not as pretty, but they were cute. "Pronunciation is key here, dears. Re-VER-toe! And keep your wand movements light! We'll start with flowers first. I trust you can all conjure your own. You may begin!"

Oh great... She bit her lip and looked at Raiden, remembering him casting. With a deep breath she waved her wand: "Orchideous!" A very small pink flower appeared. She kneeled down and looked at it. "Well, I guess that's better than nothing... Not bad for a first time. I think."

Right.

That seemed easy enough. Sure, Destiny could conjure up some flowers..as long as they don't have faces on them like last time. They were freaky looking.

Destiny went to retrieve her wand, annnnd it wasn't there. Ohhh. How could she forget that Raiden still had it? How could she forget something like that!? That was not something someone should forget.. Hopefully he had it on him now, so she wouldn't fail this class.

'Pssssst. Pssssst. Pssssssssssssssssssssssst. Raiden!! I need my waaaaand.' Her stupid Healer's wand..

Jack picked up his wand, twisting it in his fingers a few times before getting started. Hmmm, what color flowers did he want? Now that it really mattered but...yeah. He wanted to make them pretty! He closed his eyes and flicked his wand, muttering "Orchideous" under his breath. He smiled when a few daisies landed on the desk in front of him. EEEEE they reminded him of summer. He wanted warm summer weather!

Now, he had to turn them into seeds. WHHHHAT was he going to do with those afterwards? It's not like he was going to really going to run out into the snow and plant them. He flourished his wand just as the professor had, muttering "Reverto!" and making sure he got the pronounciation right, and smiled when he saw a few of the daisies turn into tiny seeds. It would have been better if ALL of the flowers turned into seeds but ehh...it was something.

He picked up some of them and raised his hand. "Erm, what should we do with them when we're done?" he asked. Surely they'd make a mess if they all just started conjuring seeds left and right. "Do you...have a garden or anything?" he asked. She seemed like one to keep a tiny garden in her yard at ALL times during the summer.

Alexa gave her best attempt at a smile... she was pretty good with flowers and butterflies. She had even tried her luck with birds.

She closed her eyes and envisioned pretty pink daisies then opened them and said, "Orchideous." THe daisies sprang into being and fell to her desk. Biting her lip she tried her hardest to concentrate and said, "Re-VER-toe." She wasn't very surprised when nothing happened. Humph... she wasn't great with the concentration today.

Merlin whyyyyyy the wiggling fingers again. Raiden felt himself sliding down in the seat again, his tail protesting slightly as he didn't really pay attention to it in his efforts to become slightly less visible.

At least he'd been close? Flicking his wrist to release his wand, Raiden gathered together the few lilies he'd conjured before, and added a few more to the bunch. Orange this time, just like he'd wanted. Yay for being able to do spells right again.

Re-Ver-toe.

Easy enough. He should be able to do this just fine.

"Reverto." He flicked his wand in the same manner that the professor had, trying to keep his wand movements 'light'.

...oh look. Seeds. Hehe.

Someone was talking at him. Raiden's eyes moved from the seeds and found... Oh Destiny! Raiden stuck his hand into his pocket and dug about for her wand. He had it with him, right? He'd only been trying to find her since FOREVER.

"I couldn't find you anywhere," he whispered back, finally drawing the thing out and holding it up. "Don't try burying it again, Mr. Masterson will end up having to dig it up."

Joking, obviously. Joking. He looked at Lina, watching as she cast for flowers and... got one. Hmmm.

"Bend your arm a bit more, Lina..." Her reached toward her and poked her elbow gently. "You're too stiff."

Lina nodded to Raiden. Maybe she was too nervous. Seriously, she was supposed to be excellent at charms! Wait, was conjuring charms? Well, she was never too bad at transfiguration either, and they had to be connected, didn't they? She took a deep breath and tried again, making sure to keep her arm relaxed.

"Orchideous!" This time there was a nice set of tiger lilies, which made her smile. She thanked Raiden and prepared to concentrate on the next spell. "Okay..." With a wave of her wand, carefully casting as she watched the others do: "Reverto." A few buds and a few bulbs. Wait, bulbs? She concentrated again on the buds, and finally got them into... bulbs... as well. "My tiger lilies turned into garlic," she said with some confusion. She had to have missed a class or two in herbology.

ooc: they almost turned into seeds, but then the old Herbology professor in me thought "wait, that's not right."

Ooooh, Mister Headboy was good at this.

Professor Pilliwickle squealed when he reverted his daises into teeny tiny seeds just as she'd demonstrated before. "You're a natural!" She beamed proudly, "have you considered a career in Transfiguration, Mr Fitzbottom?" Because he SHOULD.

"I do have a garden of course! But you're allowed to keep your seeds if you want!" Mr Groundskeeper wouldn't mind if they planted lots of PRETTY around the grounds... would he? He shouldn't. "OR, you can practice untransfiguration and revert them back! It's the same incantation!"

HER WAND!!

Jumping out of her seat, Destiny made grabby fingers towards it until she was close enough to grab it off him, and when she did grab it off him she cradled it in her arms. Sure, she hated the thing, but she had missed it. Plus there was the fact that she could have been hexed by Kay at any moment and there would be no way for her to protect herself. Unless she punched the spell, but she didn't think that would work. 'Thannnnkkkk yoooouuuu!' she said more to her wand, but it was meant for Raiden.

And then he mentioned it. The horrible day she tried to bury her wand. How embarrassing! She definitely felt her cheeks go red at that. 'Don't worry, I don't think that will happen..' She would never turn into a kneazlecruppie again! Which reminded her, she never did get that bacon..

Oh well. Sitting back in her seat, Destiny flicked her wand, 'Orchideous!' Oh look, red flowers..Now she had to turn them into seeds. Pointing her wand at the little bunch of flowers, Destiny did the snazzy wand movement, 'Reverto.' Annnnnd nothing. Her wand was stupid! She wanted to shake the stupid out of it. Sighing deeply, she pointed again, and doing the wand movement a little harder this time, she said the incantation, 'Reverto!!!!'

Ta-da! Destiny had seeds!! Maybe she could throw them at someone..

Ivory paused. A sense of excitement filled her, as she heard the professor explain the practical side of the lesson. Oh, she’d known it would come! This is what she’d been looking forward to …learning a new spell.

Fingering her wand holster beneath her robes, she decided to wait a few minutes while she mentally went over the spell again and again. Making sure her mind made the connection between the incantation and the effect of reverting an object back to its previous or natural form.

Glancing around she made a mental note of how her classmates were moving their wands, as her hand reached and unclasped the holster. Feeling the familiar warmth shoot through her body and come to a pinpoint in her wand hand she watched smiling as the small ever present blue flame that appeared at the tip of it.

Today was a good special day since she was 12 years old now …a WHOLE year older than yesterday, well sort of, and the main thing was she would be a little baby no more! She would be confident and well not a baby.
Firmly gripping her wand in hand, she tried to relax it to perform the appropriate movement for the flower conjuring spell. Pronouncing the incantation almost musically, she swooped her wand in a circular motion .

“Orchideous”

Her signature blue daisies grew beautifully on her desk almost as if the wood itself was soil and she was happy for having practiced this spell enough times that she could perform it with no trouble now.

Now back to the new spell.

Repeating Re-VER-toe a few times, just to make sure she was pronouncing it correctly and wouldn’t stammer over the word, she began to visualize small tiny seeds as she practiced the flourish.

Aiming her wand at the blue daises, she imagined her flowers slowly devolving into their previous natural forms.

”Reverto!” she said hopefully with a not so graceful flourish of her wand as she closed her eyes imagining the petals closing into a bud, the leaves folding in, the roots shrinking. The entire stem slowly thinning out and recoiling back into the small bean like seed it once was.

Hearing a small rustling sound, she opened first one eye then the other and smiled.

There among all her daises was exactly ONE seed. Sure it was supposed to be for all of them but who cared! The point was it had worked for one and that was success in it self.

Settling herself down she concentrated, determined to turn each one into a seed even if she had to do it one by one.

Sidney watches and listens to the Professor closely. She makes it look so easy. Of course she's had a century of pratice. I'll probably find it easy by then too. Turning flowers into seeds. I guess its a good idea to learn this charm. I mean you have to have seeds to be able to grow flowers. Hey I think Porfessor Pillwickle has answered the age old muggle question as to which came first the chicken or the egg. Obviously the chicken, then a wizard used the Reverto Charm and turned the chicken back into an eggs. Works for me.

Sidney removes her wand from its holster and points it at her desk. "Orchideus!" A multi-colored tulips appear on her desk. "Re-VER-toe, Re-VER-toe, Re-VER-toe," Sidney practice the incantation before she tries to perform the spell. She then points her wand at the tulips and says, "Reverto!" Sidney waves her wand over the flowers. The charm isn't a 100% success. Some of the flowers do revert back to bulbs, but the rest... they seem to have morphed into a half plant/half bulb combination. Sidney looks down at her desk. "Professor Pillwickle, I think I did something wrong."[

Arya listened as the professor explained the spell they would be learning in class. Twirling the wand in her hand, she watched carefully as Pilliwickle then demonstrated the spell, it seemed easy enough.

Before she atempted the spell, Arya spun her wand in a circular motion and said, “Orchideous”. Conjuring herself some yellow daisies.

Now that the easy part was done, she went back to slowly twirling her wand, gathering her concentration as she mentally repeated the incantation.After a minute or two passed, she then said the spell aloud. "Re-VER-toe...Re-VER-toe...Reverto."

Finally with one final slow twirl of her wand, she pointed it at her flowers and said the incantation, "Reverto". Nothing happened. Still holding strong to her concentration and wand, she took a deep breath before repeating the spell, "Reverto". And again nothing happened.

Arya frowned at her flowers and slowly twirled her wand as she atempted to figure out why her flowers were not seeds.

Oh, so they weren't going to be learning about animagi, but creating seeds instead. And possibly caterpillars later on. Well this sucked, and it totally lost her interest. Why would she need to learn about to change flowers back into a seed? Although, that did remind her of something. "Kinda like a phoenix then." she murmured to herself, smoothly taking her wand out of her sleeve. He he. There was also another wand there too. Hmm, she had been wondering for a why if he was missing it. Oh well. She didn't care what he though anyways.

"Orchideous." she said with a flick of her wand, and although it wasn't the intriguing white and red roses she had produced earlier in the year, at least they were roses. Although she wasn't really expecting blue, and an actual pretty one as well. Still reminded her of Ravenclaws though. Blah!

With a deep sigh, she watched a few people in the class attempt to turn their conjured flowers into seeds, a few successful and others...well they just didn't look right. Staring at her blue roses for a moment, she lifted her wand and concentrated on turning them into seeds. Surprisingly, she felt the need to actual concentrate hard and get this right. Destiny had been able to do it, so she could too right?

"Reverto!" she said with the flourish of her wand like the Professor had demonstrated moments before. The roses didn't do anything. Not even the tiniest of shake that would indicated something was about to happen but didn't. Ehhhhh. The flowers were retarded. Just like that broom in potions last year.

Perhaps...she was flourishing her wand too much? She knew she was saying right, so, second time the charm! Hopefully. Better be. Or they were going to be singed flowers instead of a healthy blue. "Reverto!" she said with a little less wand movement...and aha! Seeds!! Or, what looked like seeds. Sorta. A few of them looked really demented, but then again, a few others looked perfect. And they could keep them? Well, her flitterbloom was getting kinda lonely in the student garden behind that bush where no one could see it but had the perfect view of everything else...

Slipping a few of the nicer looking ones into her pocket, she glanced at Destiny for a moment, before going back to staring at the desk. "So what did the prefect mean, 'don't try to bury your wand again'?" Because that seriously needed some explaining. She knew Destiny didn't really like her wand, but to go all the way of trying to bury it? Gah it would be easier to just 'accidentally' break it and a buy a new one!

Marie knew her answer was going to be wrong, she wasn't even anywhere close to the correct answer but hey, at least the professor liked it.

So now to conjure up some flowers. She took her wand out, swooped it in a circular motion and said, "Orchideous." A bunch a different colored carnations appeared. That had been the easy part, changing them to seeds was sure to be a little more difficult.

She placed the flowers in the center of her desk, gave her wand a little flourish and said "Reverto" and watched as nothing happened. Well obviousely that wasn't right. Straightening up in her seat a little more she waved her wand again as she said "Reverto" just a little louder this time. Okay so now she had a few seeds but most of the flowers were still there. 'Oh come on, how hard can this be' she thought. She shook her wand a few times, like she was shaking the seeds to the end of it, before trying again. Concentrating really hard she said "Reverto!" as she flourished her wand over all the flowers. This time there was nothing but seeds laying on her desk, no flowers to be seen.

Finally she had gotten it right. Now she just sat back and waited for the professor to tell them what they were going to be doing next.

Emily quickly muttered "orchideous" and a bunch of red and white roses mixed with several frangipanies appeared before her... no, she liked them too much to kill them if she could avoid it, so she conjoured a glass full of water and placed them in it, adding some brightly coloured butterflies before arranging them in the corner of her desk and returning to her work. Another "orchideous" later, and she had a small pile of daffodils before her...that took concentration as she hated daffodils and found it hard to conjour them. With a sharp flick of her wand and a muttered "reverto" she had turned them into a soggy half grown...mess. Ok then if thats how they wanted to be then fine. At length, she managed to turn them back into seeds....and fling them across the room, pelting some of the students in front of her. Unfortunately for them, daffodil seeds are bulbs... and can leave quite a bruise. So, gentle on the wand waving got it. Emily tried again but the stupid things just wouldnt cooperate. Finally, on the millionth time she got it right, and slupped back exhasted.

Isabella lifted her wand and quitely saying "orchideous" and a small bunch of white roses appeared in front of her. She took hold of them and lifted her wand to practice the new spell. She was unsure at first, so she simply practiced waving her wand in the correct movement and saying the spell.

When she thought she was doing ok she pointed her wand to the flowers, waving her wand saying,

"Re-VER-toe"

She prononced the words correctly, but little happened. Only one or two flowers turned into seed, she watched them fall to the bench in front of her. Boucing around.

Maybe she said it wrong, Bella pointed her wand again at the flowers, waving it around in the correct movement saying yet again, "Reverto"

More seeds fell, more then last time, but she still had flowers. She continued to work on the spell.

Otay. So, flowers, then seeds. But seed's weren't as PRETTY. Frown. Lori giggled though, as she pulled her wand from her bag, and grinned to herself as she said the flower making incantation, and flicked her wand. "Orchideous" Yaaaay. And there sat her pretty PINK! daisy's. And they looked WAAAY too pretty to turn them back into seeds.

Could she just turn someone elses into seeds? Looking around at the rest of the class, she frowned as everybody was doing their own. Her daisies were too PRETTY. How she couldn't do it.

But she did. Just because she loooooved this professor. She was tee-toterlly adorable.

"Reverto." Awh, and now there sat a few little seeds. "Professor? I diddddd itttt!" Squeal.

Oh. My. Merlin!!!!!!!



"We're making BABIES!!!!!!!" Neptune shrieked. Omgosh. "We've GOT to get CATS in here next lesson. We could make KITTENS!!!!" Why EVERYONE else hadn't jumped to this idea right away, same as Neptune, she'd *NEVER* know.


Actually, come to think of it, as SOON AS she got back home? She was TRYING this spell on Lucifur. Oh he'd been SO CUTE when he was a baby!!!


EEEEEEE! Neptune wondered why anyone ever let their cats grow up if this spell existed. And hum, did this DE-AGE them? Or was it only in form? Hum. Hum hum. No matter, really.

"Reverrrrrrrrto," Neptune practiced under her breath. Maybe a little too much r-rolling, but she figured it'd work either way. She'd get to making flowers and seeds (not as exciting as kittens, and caterpillars were actually gross and like worms, and no thank you) later. She was kind of busy planning out her future forever-kitten. Wonder if ... you mixed this spell with a de-aging potion... and mass produced forever-kittens.... Hmmm....

Tiberius wrinkled his nose. It had taken him a little bit to master the spells from the last lesson and he was worried abuot being able to manage this one.

Biting his lip, he closed his eyes and pictured red roses. "Orchideous!" Opening one eye first and then the other, Tibi sighed in relief when he saw three red roses sitting on the desk.

Feeling a little more confident, he pointed his wand at the flowers. "Reverto!"

Staring in disbelief, Tibi frowned as three flowerless, thorny stems sat on his desk. Definitely not seeds.

This was goign to take a while.

Alexandra took a deep breath concentrated on the pretty pink daisies and tried again... "Reverto" she said in a commanding voice. To her amazement the daisies turned to seeds in front of her eyes. If she had been able to smile she would have! She looked fondly at the seeds and moved on to the next challenge.

Closing her eyes again she imagined pretty pink and black butterflies and with a wave of her wand she said, "Papilio". Opening her eyes she saw a pretty little butterfly fluttering about. She caught it on the tip of her finger and set it on the desk in front of her. Concentrating really hard she did the wand movement and said, "Reverto". Weeellllll.... there was now a half caterpillar, half butterfly in front of her... it was rather unsightly too. Grimacing she tried once again. "Reverto" she said a bit more forcefully. Now it was about 3/4 caterpillar. Grrrrr... "Reverto!" she exclaimed as she did the wand movement. This time fthe butterfly turned completely into a black caterpillar with little pink spots on it. It was actually kind of cute.

Fitzbottom? That was a new one. "Erm, it's Fritzera..." he mumbled softly. He always felt weird correcting professors. ANYWAYS. "I actually haven't, I've been counting more on a Quidditch career but...if that doesn't pan out, I suppose Transfiguration would be a good backup," he said. It was true that he hadn't really thought about what he WOULD do if, heaven forbid, he was dropped from the Ballycastle Bats, but transfiguration would be cool!

Well, since Jack wasn't a herbologist, and he wasn't planning on becoming one any time soon, he might as well just reverse them back. He picked up his wand and, with a little flourish, muttered "Reverto!" and watched as most of the seeds turned back into daisies.

Just then, he heard one of the Ravenclaw girls across the room say something about practicing the spell on cats. That--didn't sound safe at all! He supposed it could be done, but he just kept picturing Jinx, his own cat, in his head, and he kept thinking about all the things that COULLLD go wrong and...eeeeeeeeeeep! They were NOT pretty.

Note to self--stay FAR way from that girl!

Kellen conjured up some lilies and looked around the class at the other students. Well, this didn't seem like a very hard spell, there were seeds and caterpillars all over the place.

"Reverto!"

...and he got seedlings instead? No, that was just him not concentrating enough. Had to be. He tried again.

"Reverto!"

Ah, there we go. Much better. He thought about it, the conjured up some sunflowers and reverted them to their seed form. With a furtive glance around at the other students, he scooped the seeds up and popped them in his mouth.

Hmm... needed salt...
